B FOR LIGHTING
Clean wit a soft damp clot and t e pizza oven s ould be used outdoors only. Using indoors, even in a
garage or s ed, can cause carbon monoxide poisoning. W en selecting an outdoor location, always:
•Make sure t e pizza oven is not under an over anging structure (a porc , a s elter…) or under foliage.
•Put t e pizza oven on a firm, stable, fire resistant and non-combustible surface.
LIGHTING TH APPLIAC FOR FIRST US
W en using t e pizza oven for first time, let it burn for 30 minutes. T is removes any remaining
manufacturing greases from t e pizza oven. Do not put t e grill on t e pizza oven yet.
Warning:
•Do not use spirit or petrol to lig t or re-lig t t e pizza oven.
•Do not use treated wood, or non-organic firelig ters.
•W en accessing t e oven door andle, use and protection to avoid contact wit ot surfaces.
•Make sure c ildren can’t not reac near t e lit oven. Be careful of anyt ing could trip someone near
t e oven.
•To avoid knocking out t e embers w en opening t e fireplace door, open it slig tly to c eck if any
danger of a flaming firewood w en it’s opened wide

Your pizza oven is in place, t e andles of doors ave been assembled, t e first eating wit out food is
finis ed t e baking of t e ig temperature paint (30 minutes). We just ave to get started in t e preparation
and cooking of pizzas.
Place untreated wood or c arcoal into t e lower fuel area. Do not use more fuel t an 75% of fuel area
capacity, e.g. 3 kg c arcoal or 2 small logs.
Place rolled up newspaper and kindling in wit t e fuel and using eat resistant gloves, lig t t e fuel.
Always close t e lower door w en lig ting fuels
WARNING! Do not spill water on hot coal. You could generate steam and ash,
which can cause serious bodily injury or death.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
1. Never use abrasive cleaners.

4. T e unit may be left outside all year if a cover is used to elp protect it from bad weat er
5. T e pizza stone and cooking grill can be was ed using a mild detergent. T ey are not suitable for
dis was er use.
6. T e pizza stone will develop soot on t e underside – t is may be difficult to remove and s ould be
expected.
