General Instructions
PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.
A misuse of t e appliance can damage it or urt t e user.
Assure t at you use t e appliance for t e use for w ic it is
designed; we refuse any responsibilities as for t e damages by
an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.
1. C eck t at your mains voltage corresponds to t at stated
on t e appliance.
2. Never leave t e appliance unsupervised w en in use. Keep
out of reac of c ildren or incompetent persons.
3. If t e power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by t e
manufacturer, its service or similarly qualified persons in
order to avoid a azard(*).
4. Do not pass t e cord over objects wit s arp edges and keep
it at a distance from, ot objects and bare flames. Always pull
on t e plug to disconnect it from t e feed source.
5. Make sure t at t e cord or t e extension cable is not at risk
of being pulled inadvertently nor of being topped over by
anyone at t e time of use .
6. W en you use an extension cable. make sure t at it is
adapted to t e appliance essential consumption. Contrary to

t is, t e extension cable and/ or t e plug risks over eating.
7. Never immerse t e base of your appliance in water or any
ot er liquid for any reason w atsoever. Never place it into
t e dis was er.
8. In case t e appliance accidentally falls into water disconnect
it immediately. Have it c ecked by an expert before re-using,
if you do not do t is you run t e risk of electrocution.
9. Never try to open t e casing yourself.
10. Do not use t e appliance if your ands are damp if t e oil is
wet, or if t e appliance itself is damp.
11. Do not touc t e plug if your ands are damp or wet.

13. Before cleaning, always unplug t e appliance from t e
power supply.

USE
1. Place t e knob on t e dome aligning it wit t e ole and turn clockwise to secure it firmly on t e
screw. Do not over tig ten. T e terracotta dome mig t break.
2. Clean t e baking plate before using t e appliance for t e first time (see ‘Cleaning and
maintenance’). T en put t e baking plate on t e basis of appliance and recover wit t e dome.
3. T e appliance may emit some smoke and a c aracteristic smell w en you switc it on for t e first
time. T is is normal, and will soon stop.
4. Place t e appliance on a flat, stable, eat-resistant and splas -proof surface w ere it cannot fall.
5. Turn on t e pizza oven 15 minutes before use.
6. To turn on t e pizza oven just plug in t e power cord into a grounded outlet wall socket. T e
control lig t on t e side of t e pizza oven will switc on and t e appliance will eat up immediately
7. Spray or wipe t e spatulas and baking plate wit a non-stick spray or oil for t e first pizza.
8. Place a slab of doug on t e pizza spatula (or you can use t e doug cutter).
Coat wit tomato sauce, leaving an edge of about alf a cm.
Pick your own ingredients and put t em on t e pizza. Insert t e pizza into one of t e dome
openings using t e spatula so t at t e entire spatula rests on t e baking s eet.
9. Under normal conditions t e pizza is ready in about 5 to 7 minutes, t en you can slide t e ot
pizzas onto a flat plate
Note:
•o not use the appliance to heat or cook meat. Hot fat may drip on the heating element and may
cause fire.
•The baking time depends on: the type of dough, the pizza topping, the number of pizzas to be
baked at the same time.
•Never operate the unit when the dome is not on the appliance, covering both heating elements.
•Make sure that the appliance has sufficient ventilation during operation.

10. After use, unplug t e socket from t e wall socket to switc off t e appliance and let it cool down at
least 30 minutes before cleaning.
11. Clean t e appliance after use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Allow the hot appliance to cool down at least 30 minutes before cleaning and storing
•Hot terracotta dome must never come into contact wit water or be placed on a cold surface
(danger of cracks).
•Normally, t e terracotta dome does not ave to be cleaned. If cleaning is necessary, use clear,
warm water and a brus .
Caution: The terracotta dome is sensitive to breakage and is not suitable for a dishwasher.
•Rinse t e baking plate and pizza spatulas wit warm water and a brus . Don’t put any parts in t e
dis was er.
•Never submerge t e base in water. T e surface can be cleaned using a moist clot .
•If t e appliance is not to be used for some lengt of time, t e baking s eet s ould be lig tly oiled or
greased to prevent rust from forming.
