Features
Pulse PRO is a stand-alone digital lock
system. The locks of the Pulse PRO series
are only compatibel with the Pulse PRO
entry unit.

• Clean the surface of the recessed area for the
keypad from dust and grease/oils.
• Remove protective layer from the backside of the
keypad, align the membrane at the top and glue it
to the surface.
• Do not detach the membrane after glueing it.

• Feed the entry unit cable through the hole and
tighten the entry unit with the M4 screws supplied
Do not tighten the screws yet so that the entry
unit can still be optimally aligned.
• Align entry unit and tight the screws
(make sure that
no cables are pinched).

• Lift keypad up to see holes for mounting screws.
• Prepare the mounting and cable /spindle holes
on the safe door.
• Deburr the cable hole well so that the cable can
cannot be damaged.

With Straightbolt Lock EM35:
Mounting as rotatable entry unit
• Fix the rotatable adapter with the countersunk
screws supplied.

• Align the backplate on the safe door that „UP“
is legible at the top.
• Tight the screws with the mounting adapters.

• Cut the notched square spindle to length
and carefully deburr it on both sides.
• Measure the door thickness D (from the mounting
surface of the entry unit to the mounting surface of
the lock) and add 26 mm (1“).
Length: D (=Door thickness) + 26 mm
• Prepare the mounting and cable /spindle holes
on the safe door.
• Deburr the cable hole well so that the cable can
cannot be damaged.

• Press the cable into the notched square spindle over
the entire free length. Make sure that the cable does
not stick out of the notch.
• Feed cable and spindle through the prepared
drilling hole on the safe door.

• First put the spring into small drilling hole on the
backside of the entry unit - then the pen.
(a little grease prevents the spring from falling out).
• Feed the notched square spindle with cut edge
rst into the housing of the the entry unit as far
as it will go.

Mount lock(s) and other devices according to their technical manuals.
• Hook the entry unit with its rotatable adapters on
the backplate (10:00 o‘clock position).
• Control cable routing and rotate the entry unit
clockwise until it snaps into place (12 o‘clock
position (you hear a click).
• Connect the battery to the battery clip.

Perform a functional keypad test

detect the signals of the lock correctly.
• A double signal means that the key works

• A long singal sound: key sends error.
Important notes
1. Once the lock is mounted it can no longer be removed.
2. Only use new 9 V alkaline block batteries or (our) lithium manganese batteries
(Item No.: LS-LA9V).

After nishing conguration, the following codes are active as a minimum:
• Manager code:
60-1-2-3-4-5-6
• Master code:
80-1-2-3-4-5-6
For further actions, please refer to the Pulse PRO instruction manual.
Reset the box into pre-setup mode with the Reset-Box (Art.-Nr: TL4002/RB):
• Connect the Reset Box to position „BAT“ of the lock.
• Press

Pulse PRO is factory set in a pre-setup mode which simplies the testing
of the system:
• Lock open bei pressing key

• At the same time the alarm output is activated.
• In this status, no codes are stored in the lock.
After performing the functional test, the lock must be congured:
• Find the number of the required conguration in the tables of the instruction manual (page 20 to 23).
• Press and hold

until the LED remains on.
• Enter two-digit conguration number until double signal sounds.
• Press

• LED is ashing. After a few seconds the lock sends a double signal.
