Battery Installation for the Remote Control
1. Press and lift the back cover to open the battery compartment of the remote control.
2. Insert two AAA size batteries. Make sure to match the (+) and (–) ends of the batteries with the (+)
and (–) ends indicated in the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.
Handling the Remote Control
• Take care of your fingernails when you press and hold the battery release tab.
• Do not drop or cause impact to the remote control.
• Do not spill water or any liquid on the remote control.
• Do not place the remote control on a wet object.
• Do not place the remote control under direct sunlight or near sources of excessive heat.
• Remove the battery from the remote control when not in use for a long period of time, as it could
cause corrosion or battery leakage and may result in physical injury and/or property damage
including fire.
Handling the Battery
• Improper or incorrect use of batteries may cause corrosion or battery leakage, which could cause
fire, personal injury or damage to property.
• Install the battery correctly by following the polarity (+ and –) indications in the battery
compartment.
• When the battery is exhausted, the remote control will not function.
• Only use the battery type indicated in this manual.
• Do not dispose of the used battery as domestic waste. Dispose of it in accordance with the local
regulations.

Point the remote control at the unit no more than 5 metres from the remote control sensor and within
60° of the front of the unit. The operating distance may vary depending on the brightness of the room

Installing in a Car
Use the supplied mounting straps to install the
DVD Players A and B on to the back of your
vehicles headrests.
1. Thread both strap ends through the strap
eyelets.
2. Loop the straps around the headrest, with the
DVD Player facing the rear seat, then fasten
the straps with the clip.

Charging the Battery
• The battery is partially charged at shipment. Charge the battery to full for the first time use and when
the low battery ( ) indication appears on the screen. It takes about 4 hours at fully charged and it
depends on the car condition.
• Battery will not charge when the DVD player is switched on the power. Turn off the power to charge
the battery.
• Do not disconnect the mains power adapter during charging.
• It is normal for the battery to become warm during charging.
• Do not use the battery under high temperature or near heat sources
• The lifetime of the battery pack is limited. Power is slowly drained when not in use. If the battery pack
does not last long even after a full charge, you might have to replace it with a new one.
1. Connect the mains adapter to the DC IN 12V socket on the DVD player, the other end to the mains
socket.
2. Slide the POWER switch to OFF position.
• The LED indicator lights up orange indicating the battery is in charging mode. When the battery
is charged to full capacity, the LED indicator goes off.
3. Remove the mains adapter. The battery is now ready for use.

Mains Power
• This unit operates with a DC 12V 0.83A mains adapter (included).
• Connecting the unit to any other power source may cause damage to the unit. Unwind the mains
adapter to its full length. Connect the mains adapter to the AC socket on the rear of the unit and a
mains socket. Make sure the mains adapter is fully inserted into the mains socket. The unit is now
connected and ready to use.
• To switch the unit off completely, withdraw the mains adapter from the mains socket.
Turning on the Power
After the power adapter is connected to wall outlet, the LED
indicator will be illuminated in red. Slide the ON/OFF switch to
ON position on the right panel, and the LED indicator will be
illuminated in green. The start-up picture will appear on the
screen.
• Turn off the unit before unplugging the mains adapter from the unit to avoid the unit being damaged.
• When the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, disconnect the mains adapter from
the mains socket.
• The mains socket must be located near the unit and should be easily accessible. If a malfunction
occurs, disconnect the plug from the mains socket at once.
• When the mains adapter is plugged in, the unit is not completely disconnected from the main power
source, even when the unit is turned off.
After use, slide the ON/OFF switch on the DVD Player to
the OFF position.

Basic DVD Playback
1. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position on the DVD player A/B.
2. Slide the LCD panel latch to the right to lift up the LCD panel.
3. Press the OPEN button to lift up the disc tray and access the disc holder.
4. Hold the disc by its sides and carefully place onto the disc holder with the label side facing up.
Gently push the disc down until you hear a“click” sound, close the disc tray door and then lock the
unit shut.
5. The DVD player will automatically display the main menu or start playing the DVD disc.
• If the DVD player does not automatically start playing the DVD, press the PLAY/SEL. button on
the unit or the remote control.
• To play a title, press the / / / buttons on the unit or press the / / / or the 0-9
buttons on the remote control to highlight it and then press the PLAY/SEL. button on the unit or
the remote control.
Ensure that the screen protection film is removed before use.
• This instruction manual explains the basic instructions for operating this unit. Some DVDs are
produced in a manner that allows for specific or limited operation during playback. Therefore, this
unit may not respond to all operating commands. This is not a defect.
• Please refer to the instructions accompanying the specific DVD in question for more information
about the options available on that DVD. “ ” may appear on the screen during operation. A“ ”
means that the desired operation is not permitted by the unit or disc.

Playing a Title
To play a title, press the / / / buttons on the unit or press the / / / or the 0-9
buttons on the remote control to highlight it and then press the PLAY/SEL. button on the unit or the
remote control.
Stop Playback
1. Press the STOP button on the unit or the remote control to go to pre-stop mode, the TV screen
will display “ STOP”. With some discs, the DVD player can recall the stopped location, such as on
DVDs.
2. Press the PLAY/SEL. button on the unit or the remote control to resume playback from the location
where playback was stopped or from the beginning of the disc.
3. Press the STOP button on the unit or the remote control twice to stop completely.
Goto
During playing, press the GOTO button on the remote control to bring up “search” window.
Previous and Next
1. During playing, press the PREVIOUS button on the unit or the remote control to go back to the
start of the previous chapter. Each press of this button will skip a chapter until the start of the disc.
2. Each press of the NEXT button on the unit or the remote control during playing will skip the
current chapter and play the next one.
Fast Forward and Fast Reverse
1. Press the buttons on the unit or the remote control to fast reverse / fast forward through the
disc. Each time the buttons on the unit or the remote control is pressed, the fast reverse / fast
forward motion speed changes. There are 4 levels of speed available: x2, x4, x8 and x16.
2. Press the PLAY/SEL. button on the unit or the remote control to resume normal playback.
Slow Playback
1. Press the SLOW button on the remote control to slow the playback.
2. Each time the SLOW button on the remote control is pressed, the slow motion speed changes.
There are 4 levels of speed available: 1/2, 1/4, 1/6 and 1/8.
3. Press the SLOW button repeatedly on the unit or the remote control to resume regular playback
speed.
Pause Playback
1. Press the PAUSE button on the unit or the remote control to pause playback (still mode). The
sound will be muted during still mode.
2. Press the PLAY/SEL. button on the unit or the remote control to resume normal playback.

Menu
While playing the disc, press the MENU button on the remote control to go to main menu if the
function is available in the disc.
Volume Adjustment
1. Press the / buttons on the unit to adjust the volume on the unit.
2. Press the Mute button on the remote control to switch the sound off, the player will display“ ”.
Press the Mute button on the remote control again or the / buttons on the unit to cancel this
function.
Repeat All
Press the 1/All REPEAT button on the remote control repeatedly to select different repeat modes.

This function can play only a specific portion of a title/track/chapter repeatedly.
1. During playing, press the A-B REPEAT button on the remote control at a starting point. “Rep A-”

2. When the disc reaches where you want to end, press the A-B REPEAT button on the remote
control again. “Rep A-B”will appear on display. And the repeat sequence begins.
3. Press the A-B REPEAT button on the remote control to return normal playback, “Rep AB Off” will
appear on display.
Audio Channel
Press the AUDIO button on the remote control repeatedly to select different audio languages.
Subtitle Language
Press the SUBTITLE button on the remote control repeatedly to switch between different subtitle
languages that are available in the disc.
Zoom
1. Press the ZOOM button on the remote control repeatedly to cycle through all the zoom levels. You
can enlarge the screen to 1x 1, 2x 2, 3x 3, normal size.
2. To resume normal viewing, press the ZOOM button on the remote control unitl the Off indicator
appear shows on display.
