The product is not intended for commercial
use.
Any improper use or any activities on the
product not described in these instructions
for use are considered inadmissible misuse
and outside of the manufacturer’s legal liabil-
ity.

• Persons unable to safely and carefully
use the device due to physical, psycho-
logical and neural reasons must not use
the device.
• Work with caution and only if you are
physically fit: Working under the effects
of fatigue, illness, alcohol, medication
and drugs is irresponsible, as you are
unable to use the device safely.
Operation/workplace
• No tools, objects or cables may be left
lying in the work area around the device.
• Ensure that there is sufficient lighting dur-
ing operation.
• The immediate environment must be free
of highly flammable and explosive mate-
rials.
• Young people under 18 years of age and
users who are not sufficiently acquainted
with its operation must not use the
device.
• Wear the personal protective equipment
when working with the device
• Do not operate the device without install-
ing the protection devices.
• Keep children and other persons away
when using the device. Distractions may
cause you to lose control of the device.
• Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose
clothing or jewellery. Keep hair, clothing
and gloves away from moving parts.
Loose clothing, jewellery or long hair can
get caught up in moving parts.
Service
• Have your device repaired only by quali-
fied technicians, using only genuine
spare parts. This will maintain the safety
of the device.
Maintenance
• Completely switch off the device itself
before working on it.
• Only the maintenance work and trouble
shooting activities described in this
instructions for use may be carried out.
All other work must be carried out by an
expert.
• Check all screw connections regularly to
ensure a tight fit. This will maintain the
safety of the device.
• Use only genuine spare parts. Only these
spare parts are designed and suitable for
the device. The use of other spare parts
not only voids the warranty, you can also
endanger yourself and your environment.
Storage and transport
• Always store the device in a dry place.
• Store the device in a frost-free place.
• Protect the device from damage during
transport.
Personal protective equipment
Explanations on the device
Symbols appearing on your device may not

Electrical safety
• The connector plug on the product must
fit into the socket. Under no circum-
stances alter the plug. Do not use earthed
electrical tools in conjunction with an
adapter. Unmodified plugs and suitable
sockets reduce the risk of electric shock.
When working with the device, wear
eye and ear protection.
Wear protective gloves when work-
ing.
Wear safety shoes when working.

Do not subject the device to a humid
environment!
Before doing any maintenance and
repair work wait until the machine

• Avoid physical contact with grounded
surfaces, such as those of pipes, radia-
tors, cookers and refrigerators. The risk
of electric shock increases if your body is
earthed.
• Keep electrical tools away from rain and
wet. The risk of electric shock increases if
water penetrates an electrical tool.
• Switch off device in case of power inter-
ruption and pull mains plug. This prevents
the unintentional use of the use in case of
voltage return.
• Check whether the locking device is
locked and lock this if required in case of
power interruption and each setting of
the device. Otherwise the device may
start unexpectedly when the power is
supplied.
• Do not use the cable to carry the product,
hang it up or pull the plug out of the
socket. Keep the cable away from heat,
oil, sharp edges and any moving machine
parts. Damaged or tangled cables
increase the risk of electric shock.
• If the connecting cable becomes dam-
aged, it must be replaced by an expert.
• If you require to work with an extension
cable, this must be approved for this
application field and must have sufficient
cross-section. Otherwise power loss in
case of the device and overheating of the
cable may occur. If you are not certain,
contact a specialist.
• If you use an electrical tool outdoors, use
only extension cables suitable for out-
door use. Using an extension cable that is
suitable for outdoor use reduces the risk
of electric shock.
• When operating the electrical tool in a
damp environment cannot be avoided,
use a fault current circuit breaker with a
trip current of 30 mA or less. The use of a
fault current circuit breaker reduces the
risk of electric shock.
• Do not overload the product. Carry out
your work using only the electrical tool
intended. You will work more efficiently
and safely if you use the correct electrical
tool within its stated performance range.
• Do not use an electrical tool with a defec-
tive switch. A electrical tool that can be
no longer switched on or off is dangerous
and must be repaired.
• Pull the plug from the socket and/or
remove the rechargeable battery before
making adjustments, replacing compo-
nents or putting the device away. These
precautionary measures will prevent the
device from being started accidentally.
• Keep unused electrical tools out of the
reach of children. Do not allow the prod-
uct to be used by anyone who is not
familiar with it or has not read these oper-
ating instructions. Electrical tools are
dangerous if used by inexperienced per-
sons.
• Handle electrical tools with care. Check
that moving parts are functioning prop-
erly and do not stick, whether parts are
broken or have been damaged in a way
that impairs the function of the electrical
tool. Have the damaged parts repaired
before you use the product. Poorly main-
tained electrical tools are a common
cause of accidents.
• Use electrical tools, accessories, inter-
changeable tools etc. in accordance with
these instructions. In doing so, take
working conditions and the work to be
performed into consideration.
• Using electrical tools for applications
other than those intended can result in
dangerous situations.
• Remove the setting tools or spanners
before switching on the device. A tool or
spanner left in a rotating part of the prod-
uct can result in injury.
• Avoid unintentional operation. Make sure
that the device is switched off before it is
connected to the power supply and/or
battery, removed or carried. Carrying the
electrical tool with your finger on the
switch or connected to the power supply
can lead to accidents.
Safety instructions for lawn mowers
• Keep the power cable away from the
rotating blades. The blades can damage
the cable and result in an electric shock.
• Do not touch the rotating blades until the
product has been disconnected from the
mains and the blades have come to a
complete standstill.
• Always hold the product firmly in both
hands.
• Never work near garden ponds or swim-
ming pools.
• Pay attention to local regulations for rest
periods.
• Take care when walking backwards.
Danger of stumbling!
• Never leave the product unattended with
the motor running.

Training
• Read the operating instructions carefully.
Make sure that you are familiar with the
adjustment elements and the correct use
of the machine.
• Never allow children or other people who
are not familiar with the operating instruc-
tions to operate the lawn mower.
Regional legislation may specify the min-
imum permitted age of the user.
• Never mow when other people, particu-
larly children, or animals are in the vicin-
ity.
• Remember that the operator or user is
responsible for accidents involving other
people or their property.
Preparation
• When operating the machine, always
wear sturdy shoes and long trousers.
Never operate the machine with bare feet
or in light-weight sandals. Do not wear
loose fitting clothes or clothes with hang-
ing cords or belts.
• Check the area you wish to mow, before
you do so, and remove all objects that
may be caught and thrown up by the
machine.
• Before using, carry out a visual check to
make sure that the cutting blades, fixing
bolts and the cutting unit as a whole are
not worn or damaged. In order to avoid
imbalance, worn or damaged cutting
blades and fixing bolts may only be
replace in sets. Worn or damaged infor-
mation labels must be replaced.
• Before using, check the connection cable
and extension cable for signs of damage
or wear. If the cable is damaged during
use, immediately unplug from the power
supply. DO NOT TOUCH THE CABLE
UNTIL IT HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM
THE MAINS POWER SUPPLY. Do not
use the machine if the cable is worn or
damaged.
Handling
• Only mow in daylight or with good artifi-
cial lighting.
• If possible, avoid using the tool when the
grass is wet.
• Ensure that you are standing firmly when
operating on slopes.
• Only operate the machine at walking
speed.
• Mow across the slope, never up or down
slope.
• Be particularly careful when changing
direction on a slope.
• Do not mow on very steep slopes.
• Be particularly careful when turning the
mower or pulling it towards you.
• Stop the cutting blades when the mower
must be tilted to transport it over surfaces
that are not grass and when the mower is
being moved from and to the area to be
mowed.
• Never use the mower if the protective
mechanisms or protective mesh are dam-
aged. Never use without protective
mechanisms, for example, deflector
plates and/or grass collection equipment.
• Start or activate the starter switch care-
fully in accordance with the manufac-
turer’s instructions. Make sure there is
sufficient space between your feet and
the cutting blades.
• When starting or starting up the motor,
the mower may not be tilted unless the
mower needs to be lifted for the process.
If this is the case, only tip it as far as is
absolutely necessary and only lift the side
that faces away from the user.
• Do not start the motor if you are standing
in front of the ejection duct.
• Never put hands or feet onto or under
rotating parts. Keep away from the ejec-
tion outlet.
• Never lift or carry a mower with the motor
running.
• Switch the motor off and remove the plug
from the socket. Make sure that all mov-
ing parts have come to a standstill.
– Whenever you leave the machine unat-
tended;
– Before you remove blockages or clogs
in the ejection duct;
– Before you check, clean or carry out
work on the mower;
– If a foreign object is hit.
• Look for damages to the mower and
carry out any necessary repairs before
you start it up again and continue to use
the mower.
• If the mower starts to vibrate in an unu-
sual way, immediately check it.
– Look for damages;
– Carry out all necessary repairs to dam-
aged parts;
– Make sure that all nuts, bolts and
screws are tightened firmly.

Maintenance and storage
• Ensure that all nuts, bolts and screws are
tightened and the tool is in a safe operat-
ing state.
• Check the grass collection equipment
regularly for wear or for loss of functional-
ity.
• For safety reasons, replace worn or dam-
aged parts.
• Remember that when using a tool with
multiple blades, moving one blade may
lead to the other blades rotating.
• When adjusting the machine, make sure
that no fingers are trapped between the
moving blades and fixed parts of the
machine.
• Allow the motor to cool down before you
put the machine away.
• When maintaining the blades, remember
that even if the power source is deacti-
vated, the blades can still be moved.
• For safety reasons, replace worn or dam-
aged parts. Only use original spare parts
and accessories.
The variant of the product sold in Switzerland
may only be used in Switzerland, as it is
equipped with a Swiss plug.

Mounting the lower retaining bracket

The grass collecting bag is also designed
to collapse into a compact size to reduce
storage when the lawnmower is not in
use.

poses a risk of electric shock or fire.

product horizontally on a stable, suf-
ficiently load-bearing and level sur-
face.

the quick release levers completely.
If necessary, slightly loosen the self-
locking nuts.

on either side of the plastic base of the
collecting bag. Unclip the rubber lip (16)
of the cloth collecting bag from the wire

Malfunctions are often caused by minor
faults. You can easily remedy most of these
yourself. Please consult the following table
before contacting the vendor. You will save
yourself a lot of trouble and possibly money
too.
If you can’t fix the fault yourself, contact your
nearest vendor. Please be aware that any
improper repairs will also invalidate the war-
ranty and additional costs may be incurred.
Technical data

• Για τον ασφαλή χειρισμό αυτής της
συσκευής, ο χρήστης της συσκευής πρέ-
πει να έχει διαβάσει και να έχει κατανοή-
σει τις παρούσες οδηγίες χρήσης πριν
από την πρώτη χρήση.
• Τηρείτε όλες τις υποδείξεις ασφαλείας!
Εάν παραβλέψετε τις υποδείξεις ασφα-
λείας, θέτετε σε κίνδυνο τον εαυτό σας
και άλλους.
• Φυλάξτε όλες τις οδηγίες χρήσης και τις
υποδείξεις ασφαλείας για μελλοντική
χρήση.
• Όταν δίνετε τη συσκευή σε κάποιον
άλλο, παραδώστε το και τις οδηγίες χρή-
σης.
• Κρατήστε τα παιδιά μακριά από τη
συσκευή. Φυλάξτε τη συσκευή σε ασφα-
λές μέρος, μακριά από παιδιά και αναρ-
μόδια άτομα.
• Για τη διασφάλιση της απρόσκοπτης λει-
τουργίας της συσκευής πρέπει να είναι
σωστά τοποθετημένα όλα τα εξαρτή-
ματα της συσκευής, ιδίως τα συστήματα

• Η συσκευή επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιεί-
ται μόνο, εφόσον είναι απολύτως εντά-
ξει. Εάν έχει υποστεί βλάβη/ζημιά η
συσκευή ή κάποιο τμήμα της, πρέπει να
επισκευάζεται οπωσδήποτε από κάποιον
ειδικό.
• Ακολουθείτε πάντα τις ισχύουσες εθνι-
κές και διεθνείς διατάξεις ασφαλείας,
προστασίας της υγείας και εργασίας.
• Η συσκευή επιτρέπεται να τίθεται σε λει-
τουργία μόνο, εφόσον δεν διαπιστωθούν
ελλείψεις κατά τον έλεγχο. Εάν έχει υπο-
στεί βλάβη/ζημιά κάποιο εξάρτημα, πρέ-
πει να αντικαθίσταται οπωσδήποτε πριν
από την επόμενη χρήση.
• Ασφαλίζετε την απενεργοποιημένη
συσκευή πάντα από ακούσια επανενερ-
γοποίηση.
• Κατά την εργασία φροντίζετε να έχετε
πάντα μια φυσική και ασφαλή στάση.
• Μην υπερφορτώνετε το εργαλείο. Χρη-
σιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή μόνο για τους
προβλεπόμενους σκοπούς.
• Δεν επιτρέπεται η χρήση της συσκευής
από άτομα που λόγω ελλιπών ψυχικών,
φυσικών ή αισθητικών ιδιοτήτων δεν
είναι σε θέση να χειριστούν με ασφάλεια
και προσοχή τη συσκευή.
• Εργάζεστε πάντα με προσοχή και μόνο
όταν είσαστε σε καλή κατάσταση: Απο-
τελεί ανευθυνότητα η χρήση της
συσκευής σε κούραση, ασθένεια, επή-
ρεια οινοπνεύματος, φαρμάκων ή ναρ-
κωτικών, δεδομένου ότι δεν μπορείτε
πλέον να χειριστείτε με ασφάλεια τη
συσκευή.
Χειρισμός/χώρος εργασίας
• Μην αφήνετε στην περιοχή εργασίας της
συσκευής εργαλεία, αντικείμενα ή καλώ-
δια.
• Φροντίστε να υπάρχει επαρκής φωτι-
σμός στον χώρο χρήσης της συσκευής.
• Πρέπει να μην υπάρχουν εύφλεκτα ή
εκρηκτικά υλικά γύρω από τη συσκευή.
• Δεν επιτρέπεται η χρήση της συσκευής
από εφήβους ηλικίας μικρότερης των 18
ετών καθώς και από χρήστες που δεν
έχουν εξοικειωθεί επαρκώς με το χειρι-
σμό της συσκευής.
• Φοράτε κατά την εργασία με τη συσκευή
τα μέσα ατομικής προστασίας.
• Ποτέ μη θέτετε σε λειτουργία τη
συσκευή χωρίς να έχετε τοποθετήσει τα
συστήματα προστασίας.
• Κατά τη διάρκεια της χρήσης της
συσκευής φροντίζετε να βρίσκονται
μακριά παιδιά και άλλα άτομα. Εάν απο-
σπαστεί η προσοχή σας, μπορείτε να
χάσετε τον έλεγχο του εργαλείου.
• Φοράτε κατάλληλα ρούχα. Μη φοράτε
φαρδιά ρούχα ή κοσμήματα. Κρατάτε τα
μαλλιά, τα ρούχα και τα γάντια μακριά
από κινούμενα μέρη. Φαρδιά ρούχα,
κοσμήματα ή μακριά μαλλιά θα μπορού-
σαν να πιαστούν στα κινητά εξαρτή-
ματα.
Σέρβις
• Αναθέστε την επισκευή της συσκευής
μόνο σε εκπαιδευμένο εξειδικευμένο
προσωπικό και μόνο με γνήσια ανταλλα-
κτικά. Με τον τρόπο αυτό εξασφαλίζετε
ότι διατηρείτε η ασφάλεια της
συσκευής.
Συντήρηση
• Πριν από κάθε εργασία στη συσκευή
πρέπει να το αποσυνδέετε μόνοι σας
από το ρεύμα.
• Επιτρέπεται η διενέργεια μόνο εργασιών
συντήρησης και αποκατάστασης βλα-
βών που περιγράφονται στις παρούσες
οδηγίες χρήσης. Όλες οι υπόλοιπες
εργασίες πρέπει να πραγματοποιούνται
από κάποιον ειδικό.
• Ελέγξτε τακτικά την καλή έδραση όλων
των κοχλιοσυνδέσεων. Με τον τρόπο
αυτό εξασφαλίζετε ότι διατηρείτε η
ασφάλεια της συσκευής.
• Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο γνήσια ανταλλα-
κτικά. Μόνο αυτά τα ανταλλακτικά είναι
κατασκευασμένα και κατάλληλα για
αυτή τη συσκευή. Τα άλλα ανταλλακτικά
δεν έχουν ως συνέπεια μόνο την απώ-
λεια της εγγύησης, αλλά ενδέχεται να
βλάψουν επίσης εσάς και το περιβάλλον
σας.
Αποθήκευση και μεταφορά
• Αποθηκεύετε τη συσκευή πάντα σε στε-
γνό χώρο.
• Αποθηκεύετε το προϊόν σε χώρο χωρίς
παγετό.
• Κατά τη μεταφορά, προστατεύετε τη
συσκευή από ζημιές.
Εξοπλισμός προσωπικής προστασίας
Κατά την εργασία με τη συσκευή,
φοράτε ωτασπίδες και γυαλιά.
Κατά την εργασία, φοράτε προστα-
τευτικά γάντια.

Επεξήγηση των συμβόλων στη συσκευή
Δεν επιτρέπεται να απομακρύνετε ή να
καλύπτετε τα σύμβολα που βρίσκονται στη
συσκευή. Πρέπει να αντικαθιστάτε αμέσως
τις υποδείξεις στη συσκευή όταν πλέον δεν
είναι ευανάγνωστες.
Ηλεκτρική ασφάλεια
• Το φις σύνδεσης του εργαλείου πρέπει
να ταιριάζει στην πρίζα. Το φις δεν επι-
τρέπεται να υποστεί κανενός είδους
μετατροπή. Μην χρησιμοποιείτε φις
προσαρμογής μαζί με ηλεκτρικά εργα-
λεία που διαθέτουν προστασία γείωσης.
Φις που δεν έχουν υποστεί καμιά μετα-
τροπή και κατάλληλες πρίζες μειώνουν
τον κίνδυνο μιας ηλεκτροπληξίας.
• Αποφεύγετε τη σωματική επαφή με γει-
ωμένες επιφάνειες, όπως σωλήνες,
συσκευές θέρμανσης, κουζίνες και
ψυγεία. Υπάρχει αυξημένος ο κίνδυνος
μιας ηλεκτροπληξίας, όταν το σώμα σας
είναι γειωμένο.
• Κρατάτε τα ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία μακριά
από τη βροχή και την υγρασία. Η εισχώ-
ρηση νερού στο ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο
αυξάνει τον κίνδυνο μιας ηλεκτροπλη-
ξίας.
• Σε περίπτωση διακοπής ρεύματος, απε-
νεργοποιήστε το εργαλείο και αποσυν-
δέστε το φις. Αυτό αποτρέπει την ακού-
σια ενεργοποίηση του εργαλείου όταν
επανέλθει η τάση.
• Σε περίπτωση διακοπής ρεύματος και σε
κάθε απόθεση του εργαλείου ελέγξτε,
εάν είναι απασφαλισμένο το κουμπί ακι-
νητοποίησης και απασφαλίστε το ενδε-
χομένως. Διαφορετικά θα μπορούσε να
ενεργοποιηθεί απρόσμενα το εργαλείο
όταν επανέλθει το ρεύμα.
• Μην χρησιμοποιείτε για άλλο σκοπό το
καλώδιο, για παράδειγμα για να μεταφέ-
ρετε το εργαλείο, για να το κρεμάσετε ή
για να αφαιρέσετε το φις από την πρίζα.
Κρατάτε το καλώδιο μακριά από υψηλή
θερμοκρασία, λάδια, αιχμηρές ακμές ή
κινούμενα μέρη του εργαλείου. Φθαρ-
μένα ή μπερδεμένα καλώδια αυξάνουν
τον κίνδυνο μιας ηλεκτροπληξίας.
• Σε περίπτωση ζημιάς του καλωδίου σύν-
δεσης επιτρέπεται να αντικαθίσταται
μόνο ειδικό.
• Εάν εργάζεστε με καλώδιο προέκτασης,
πρέπει να είναι εγκεκριμένο για την περι-
οχή χρήσης και να διαθέτει επαρκή δια-
τομή. Διαφορετικά μπορεί να παρουσια-
στεί απώλεια ισχύος στο εργαλείο και
υπερθέρμανση του καλωδίου. Εάν έχετε
αμφιβολία, απευθυνθείτε σε ειδικό.
• Όταν εργάζεστε μ' ένα ηλεκτρικό εργα-
λείο σε υπαίθριους χώρους, χρησιμοποι-
είτε μόνο καλώδια προέκτασης, τα οποία
είναι επίσης εγκεκριμένα για εξωτερι-
κούς χώρους. Η χρήση ενός κατάλληλου
για εξωτερικούς χώρους καλωδίου προ-
έκτασης μειώνει τον κίνδυνο μιας ηλε-
κτροπληξίας.
• Εάν δεν μπορεί να αποφευχθεί η λει-
τουργία του ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου σε
υγρό περιβάλλον, χρησιμοποιήστε δια-
κόπτη ΔΔΕ με ρεύμα ενεργοποίησης 30
mA ή λιγότερα. Η χρήση ενός διακόπτη
ΔΔΕ μειώνει τον κίνδυνο ηλεκτροπλη-
ξίας.
• Μην υπερφορτώνετε το εργαλείο. Χρη-
σιμοποιείτε για την εργασία σας το προ-
ορισμένο γι' αυτήν ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο.
Με το κατάλληλο ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο
Κατά την εργασία, φοράτε προστα-
τευτικά υποδήματα.
Προειδοποίηση – Πριν την έναρξη
λειτουργίας διαβάστε τις οδηγίες
χρήσης.
Μην εκθέτετε τη συσκευή σε υγρό
περιβάλλον!
Πριν από όλες τις εργασίες συντή-
ρησης και καθαρισμού περιμένετε
να σταματήσει το εργαλείο.
Κίνδυνος τραυματισμού από εκ-
σφενδονισμένα αντικείμενα!
Τρίτα πρόσωπα πρέπει να διατη-
ρούν επαρκή απόσταση ασφαλείας.
Κίνδυνος ζημιών στο ηλεκτρικό κα-
λώδιο.
Κρατάτε το καλώδιο τροφοδοσίας
μακριά από τον κοπτικό μηχανισμό.
Προσοχή, κοφτερές λεπίδες. Η πε-
ριστροφή του μαχαιριού κοπής δι-
αρκεί λίγο ακόμη μετά την απενερ-
γοποίηση του κινητήρα.
Πριν από εργασίες συντήρησης ή
εάν έχει υποστεί ζημιά το καλώδιο,
αποσυνδέστε το φις από την πρίζα.

εργάζεστε καλύτερα και με περισσότερη
ασφάλεια στην αναφερόμενη περιοχή
ισχύος.
• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε κανένα ηλεκτρικό
εργαλείο, του οποίου ο διακόπτης είναι
χαλασμένος. Ένα ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο, το
οποίο δεν μπορεί πλέον να ενεργοποιη-
θεί και να απενεργοποιηθεί είναι επικίν-
δυνο και πρέπει να επισκευαστεί.
• Αποσυνδέστε το φις από την πρίζα και/ή
απομακρύνετε την επαναφορτιζόμενη
μπαταρία, πριν εκτελέσετε ρυθμίσεις
στο εργαλείο, πριν πραγματοποιήσετε
ρυθμίσεις στη συσκευή, αντικαταστή-
σετε αξεσουάρ ή πριν αποθηκεύσετε το
εργαλείο. Αυτά τα προστατευτικά μέτρα
αποτρέπουν μια ακούσια εκκίνηση του
εργαλείου.
• Φυλάσσετε τα αχρησιμοποίητα ηλε-
κτρικά εργαλεία μακριά από τα παιδιά.
Μην αφήνετε σε άτομα να χρησιμοποιή-
σουν το εργαλείο, τα οποία δεν είναι
εξοικειωμένα με αυτό ή αυτά δεν έχουν
διαβάσει αυτές τις οδηγίες λειτουργίας.
Ηλεκτρικά εργαλεία είναι επικίνδυνα,
όταν χρησιμοποιούνται από άπειρα
άτομα.
• Φροντίζετε με επιμέλεια τα ηλεκτρικά
εργαλεία. Ελέγχετε εάν κινητά εξαρτή-
ματα κινούνται χωρίς πρόβλημα και δεν
μπλοκάρουν, εάν εξαρτήματα είναι σπα-
σμένα ή έχουν τέτοια φθορά, ώστε από
αυτό να επηρεάζεται η λειτουργία του
ηλεκτρικού εργαλείου. Φροντίστε για
την επισκευή των φθαρμένων εξαρτημά-
των πριν από τη χρήση του εργαλείου.
Πολλά ατυχήματα έχουν για αιτία τα
κακώς συντηρημένα ηλεκτρικά εργα-
λεία.
• Χρησιμοποιείτε το ηλεκτρικό εργαλείο,
τα πρόσθετα εξαρτήματα, τα εργαλεία
εφαρμογής κτλ. σύμφωνα με αυτές τις
οδηγίες. Λαμβάνετε υπόψη τις συνθήκες
εργασίας και την εργασία που πρέπει να
εκτελεστεί.
• Η χρήση των ηλεκτρικών εργαλείων για
διαφορετικές από τις προβλεπόμενες
χρήσεις μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε επικίνδυ-
νες καταστάσεις.
• Απομακρύνετε τα εργαλεία ρύθμισης ή
το γερμανικό κλειδί, πριν ενεργοποιή-
σετε το εργαλείο. Ένα εργαλείο ή κλειδί,
το οποίο βρίσκεται σε περιστρεφόμενο
εξάρτημα του εργαλείου, μπορεί να προ-
καλέσει τραυματισμούς.
• Αποφεύγετε μια ακούσια έναρξη λει-
τουργίας. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το εργαλείο
είναι απενεργοποιημένο πριν το συνδέ-
σετε στην ηλεκτρική τροφοδοσία και/ή
στη μπαταρία, το σηκώσετε ή το μετα-
φέρετε. Εάν κατά τη μεταφορά του ηλε-
κτρικού εργαλείου έχετε το δάκτυλο στο
διακόπτη ή συνδέσετε το εργαλείο ενερ-
γοποιημένο στην ηλεκτρική τροφοδοσία,
αυτό μπορεί να οδηγήσει σε ατυχήματα.
Υποδείξεις ασφαλείας για χλοοκοπτικά
• Κρατάτε το ηλεκτρικό καλώδιο μακριά
από τα περιστρεφόμενα μαχαίρια. Τα
μαχαίρια μπορεί να προκαλέσουν ζημιά
στο καλώδιο και να προκληθεί ηλεκτρο-
πληξία.
• Μην ακουμπάτε τα περιστρεφόμενα
μαχαίρια, πριν αποσυνδέσετε το εργα-
λείο από την τροφοδοσία και πριν στα-
ματήσουν εντελώς τα μαχαίρια.
• Κρατάτε τη συσκευή πάντα γερά με τα
δύο χέρια.
• Ποτέ μην εργάζεστε κοντά σε τεχνητές
λίμνες κήπων ή πισίνες.
• Ακολουθείτε τις τοπικές διατάξεις για τις
ώρες κοινής ησυχίας.
• Προσοχή όταν βαδίζετε προς τα πίσω.
Υπάρχει κίνδυνος να σκοντάψετε!
• Ποτέ μην αφήνετε το εργαλείο χωρίς
επίβλεψη, ενώ ο κινητήρας βρίσκεται σε
λειτουργία.
Εξάσκηση
• Διαβάστε προσεκτικά τις οδηγίες χρή-
σης. Εξοικειωθείτε με τα εξαρτήματα
ρύθμισης και τη σωστή χρήση του εργα-
λείου.
• Μην επιτρέπεται ποτέ σε παιδιά ή άλλα
πρόσωπα, που δεν γνωρίζουν τις οδη-
γίες χρήσης, να χρησιμοποιούν το χλοο-
κοπτικό. Τοπικές διατάξεις ενδέχεται να
ορίζουν την ελάχιστη ηλικία του χρήστη.
• Μην κουρεύετε ποτέ, ενώ υπάρχουν
κοντά άνθρωποι, ιδίως παιδιά ή ζώα.
• Σκεφτείτε, ότι υπεύθυνος για ατυχήματα
ή κινδύνους με άλλα άτομα ή την ιδιο-
κτησία τους είναι ο χειριστής του εργα-
λείου.
Μέτρα προετοιμασίας
• Κατά τη λειτουργία του εργαλείου πρέ-
πει να φοράτε πάντα γερά υποδήματα
και μακριά παντελόνια. Μην χρησιμοποι-
είτε το εργαλείο ξυπόλυτοι ή με ανοιχτά
παπούτσια. Αποφεύγετε τα φαρδιά
ρούχα ή ρούχα με κορδόνια ή ζώνες που
κρέμονται.

• Ελέγξτε το οικόπεδο στο οποίο χρησιμο-
ποιείται το εργαλείο και απομακρύνετε
όλα τα αντικείμενα, τα οποία μπορεί να
παγιδευτούν και να εκσφενδονιστούν
από το εργαλείο.
• Πριν από την χρήση πρέπει να ελέγχετε
πάντα οπτικά, εάν έχουν φθαρεί ή έχουν
υποστεί ζημιά τα μαχαίρια κοπής, οι πεί-
ροι στερέωσης και ολόκληρη η μονάδα
κοπής. Τα μαχαίρια κοπής που έχουν
φθαρεί ή υποστεί ζημιά και οι πείροι στε-
ρέωσης επιτρέπεται να αντικαθίστανται
μόνο κατά ζεύγη για την αποφυγή έλλει-
ψης ζυγοστάθμισης. Πρέπει να αντικαθι-
στάτε τις πινακίδες υποδείξεων που
έχουν φθαρεί ή υποστεί ζημιά.
• Πριν από την χρήση εξετάζετε πάντα το
καλώδιο σύνδεσης και το καλώδιο προέ-
κτασης για ενδείξεις ζημιάς ή φθοράς.
Εάν το καλώδιο υποστεί ζημιά κατά την
χρήση, πρέπει να το αποσυνδέσετε αμέ-
σως από το δίκτυο τροφοδοσίας. ΜΗΝ
ΑΚΟΥΜΠΑΤΕ ΤΟ ΚΑΛΩΔΙΟ, ΠΡΙΝ ΤΟ
ΑΠΟΣΥΝΔΕΣΕΤΕ ΑΠΟ ΤΟ ΡΕΥΜΑ. Μην
χρησιμοποιείτε το εργαλείο, εάν το
καλώδιο έχει φθαρεί ή έχει υποστεί
ζημιά.
Χειρισμός
• Κουρεύετε μόνο υπό το φως της ημέρας
ή με καλό τεχνητό φωτισμό.
• Εάν είναι δυνατό, πρέπει να αποφεύγετε
την χρήση της συσκευής σε βρεγμένο
χόρτο.
• Προσέχετε να έχετε πάντα καλή ευστά-
θεια σε πλαγιές.
• Οδηγείτε το εργαλείο μόνο με ταχύτητα
βηματισμού.
• Κουρεύετε εγκάρσια προς την πλαγιά,
ποτέ προς τα επάνω ή προς τα κάτω.
• Να είστε ιδιαίτερα προσεκτικοί, όταν
αλλάζετε την κατεύθυνση πορείας στην
πλαγιά.
• Μην κουρεύετε σε υπερβολικά απότομες
πλαγιές.
• Να είστε ιδιαίτερα προσεκτικοί, όταν
αλλάζετε πορεία με το χλοοκοπτικό ή
όταν το τραβάτε προς το μέρος σας.
• Σταματήστε το μαχαίρι (τα μαχαίρια)
κοπής, όταν πρέπει να ανασηκώσετε το
χλοοκοπτικό για μεταφορά σε επιφά-
νειες εκτός γρασιδιού και όταν μετακι-
νείτε το χλοοκοπτικό από και προς την
επόμενη επιφάνεια που πρόκειται να
κουρέψετε.
• Μην χρησιμοποιείτε ποτέ το χλοοκο-
πτικό με ελαττωματικές διατάξεις προ-
στασίας ή πλέγματα προστασίας ή χωρίς
τοποθετημένες διατάξεις προστασίας,
π.χ. ελάσματα πρόσκρουσης και/ή δια-
τάξεις συλλογής γρασιδιού.
• Εκκινείτε ή χειρίζεστε τον διακόπτη ανά-
φλεξης με προσοχή, σύμφωνα με τις
οδηγίες του κατασκευαστή. Προσέξτε
ώστε να υπάρχει επαρκή απόσταση των
ποδιών από το μαχαίρι (τα μαχαίρια)
κοπής.
• Κατά την εκκίνηση του κινητήρα δεν επι-
τρέπεται να γέρνετε το χλοοκοπτικό,
εκτός αν πρέπει να ανασηκώσετε το
χλοοκοπτικό κατά τη διαδικασία. Σε
αυτή την περίπτωση γείρετε το μόνο
τόσο όσο είναι απολύτως απαραίτητο
και ανασηκώστε το μόνο από την πλευρά
που δεν είναι στραμμένη στον χρήστη.
• Μην εκκινείτε τον κινητήρα, εάν στέκε-
στε μπροστά από το κανάλι εξαγωγής.
• Ποτέ μην οδηγείτε χέρια ή πόδια κοντά ή
κάτω από περιστρεφόμενα εξαρτήματα.
Να βρίσκεστε πάντα σε απόσταση από
το άνοιγμα εξαγωγής.
• Μην ανασηκώνετε ή μεταφέρετε ποτέ
το χλοοκοπτικό με τον κινητήρα σε λει-
τουργία.
• Σβήστε τον κινητήρα και βγάλτε το φις
από την πρίζα. Βεβαιωθείτε ότι έχουν
σταματήσει εντελώς τα κινούμενα μέρη.
– κάθε φορά που εγκαταλείπετε το χλο-
οκοπτικό,
– πριν αποκαταστήσετε μπλοκαρίσματα
ή εμφράξεις στο κανάλι αποβολής,
– πριν ελέγξετε, καθαρίσετε το χλοοκο-
πτικό ή πραγματοποιήσετε εργασίες
σε αυτό,
– εάν έχετε χτυπήσει κάποιο ξένο σώμα.
• Εξετάστε για τυχόν ζημιές το χλοοκο-
πτικό και πραγματοποιήστε τις απαραί-
τητες επισκευές, πριν το θέσετε ξανά σε
λειτουργία και εργαστείτε με το χλοοκο-
πτικό.
• Εάν το χλοοκοπτικό αρχίσει να δονείται
ασυνήθιστα έντονα, απαιτείται άμεσος
έλεγχος.
– αναζητήστε ζημιές,
– πραγματοποιήστε τις απαραίτητες
επισκευές στα μέρη που έχουν υποστεί
ζημιά,
– φροντίστε ώστε να είναι καλά σφιγ-
μένα όλα τα παξιμάδια, τα μπουλόνια
και οι βίδες.

Συντήρηση και αποθήκευση
• Βεβαιωθείτε ότι όλα τα παξιμάδια, τα
μπουλόνια και οι βίδες είναι καλά σφιγ-
μένα και ότι το εργαλείο βρίσκεται σε
ασφαλή κατάσταση λειτουργίας.
• Ελέγχετε τακτικά τη διάταξη συλλογής
για φθορά ή απώλεια της δυνατότητας
λειτουργίας.
• Αντικαταστήστε για λόγους ασφαλείας
τα μέρη που έχουν φθαρεί ή έχουν υπο-
στεί ζημιά.
• Λάβετε υπόψη, ότι σε εργαλεία με περισ-
σότερα μαχαίρια κοπής ενδέχεται η
κίνηση ενός μαχαιριού να προκαλέσει
περιστροφές των υπόλοιπων μαχαιριών
κοπής.
• Προσέξτε κατά τη ρύθμιση του εργα-
λείου, ώστε να μην παγιδευτούν δάχτυλα
ανάμεσα σε κινούμενα μαχαίρια κοπής
και σταθερά μέρη του εργαλείου.
• Αφήστε τον κινητήρα να κρυώσει, πριν
αποθέσετε το εργαλείο.
• Προσέξτε κατά τη συντήρηση των
μαχαιριών κοπής ώστε, ακόμη και όταν
είναι απενεργοποιημένη η πηγή ρεύμα-
τος, να μπορούν να περιστρέφονται τα
μαχαίρια κοπής.
• Αντικαταστήστε για λόγους ασφαλείας
τα μέρη που έχουν φθαρεί ή έχουν υπο-
στεί ζημιά. Χρησιμοποιείτε αποκλειστικά
γνήσια ανταλλακτικά και αξεσουάρ.
Η μετατοπισμένη στην Ελβετία παραλλαγή
της συσκευής μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί
μόνο στην Ελβετία, καθώς είναι εξοπλισμένο
με μια ελβετική βύσμα.
Αναγνωρίζουν την παραλλαγή σχετικά με
τον αριθμό στοιχείο της συσκευής (το εγχει-
ρίδιο περιέχει πάντα όλους τους αριθμούς
των άρθρων):

τον ταχυσφιγκτήρα (3).
– Σταθεροποιήστε το καλώδιο με τον σφι-
γκτήρα καλωδίων (10) στον κάτω βραχί-
ονα συγκράτησης (13).
ΚΙΝΔΥΝΟΣ! Κίνδυνος θανάτου

αυτής της παραλλαγής εκτός Ελβε-
τίας δεν επιτρέπεται για λόγους
ασφαλείας, καθώς αυτό ενέχει κίν-

ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΊΗΣΗ! Κίνδυνος
τραυματισμού! Τοποθετήστε το
εργαλείο οριζόντια πάνω σε στα-
θερή επίπεδη επιφάνεια με επαρκή
αντοχή.
Υπόδειξη: Οι ταχυσφιγκτήρες πρέ-
πει να μπορούν να κλείνουν πλήρως.
Εάν χρειάζεται, λασκάρετε λίγο τα
αυτοασφαλιζόμενα παξιμάδια.
