Ensure that the fluid supply to the
meter is isolated and disconnected,
and the line pressure is released
before disassembly.
To prevent damage to the meter
slowly fill the system with fluid
(this will prevent damage caused by
air purge).
Note: Failure to do this could
damage the meter. For pump
applications, turn off the pump at
the end of each day.

Service Instructions
To remove existing Register
assembly
Ensure that the fluid supply to
the meter is disconnected, and
the line pressure is released
before disassembly.
1] Remove the four screws as
shown in Figure 1 below.
2] Remove the Register front cover
as shown in Figure 2 below.
3] Remove the 4 screws as shown
in Figure 3 below and remove
the register base.
Rotate the Cover plate
1]Remove 6 Socket Head Cap screws
as shown in Figure 4.
2] Remove the Cover plate and
inspect the oring for damage,
replace if necessary.
3] Rotate the cover plate clockwise
one screw hole (60 degrees) as
shown if Figure 4.
4) Tighten the 6 Socket Head Cap
screws.
Dismantle MH450 Register
Refer to the exploded parts diagram
Figure 7 for items numbers.
1] Remove the 4 clamp ring screws
(Item 1)
2] Remove the Clamp ring (Item 2)
3] Remove the Glass face and seal
assembly (Items 3 and 4)
4) Undo the two register Facia
screws (Item 5) and remove the
facia plate (Item 6)

Installing the MH450 Register
Refer to the exploded parts diagram
Figure 8 for items numbers.
1] Install the Gasket (Item 15)
2] Place register body (Item 11) into
position then fit the 4 register
mounting screws and tighten as
shown in Figure 6. Note: The
register body includes the
tumbler mechanism.
4) Replace the remaining items (6,
5, 4, 3, 2, 1) as per “Dismantle
MECH450 Register” instructions
above.
5) When fitting the clamp ring
(Item 2) tighten the 4 screws
evenly to avoid damage to the
glass.

Macnaught Industries (‘Macnaught’)
warrants that the Products will be
free from any defects caused by
faulty material or workmanship for
a period of twelve (12) months from
the date of sale of the Products to
the enduser (the ‘Warranty Period’)
PROVIDED THAT, during the
Warranty Period:
1.Macnaught receives notice
setting out full details of any
defect in any Product and details of
the time and place of purchase of
the product:
and
2.the enduser, at its own cost
returns the Product to the
nearest authoised Macnaught
Service Centre.
Macnaught shall, as its option
repair or replace any Product found
defective by its inspection or refund
the price paid by the enduser for
that Product.
Macnaught's liability and the
enduser’s rights under this
warranty shall be limited to such
repair, replacement or refund and,
in particular, shall not extend to
any direct, special, indirect or
consequential damage or loss of any
nature.
Note:
This warranty does not form part
of, nor does it constitute, a contract
between Macnaught and the
enduser. It is additional to any
warranty given by the seller of the
Products and does not exclude,
limit, restrict or modify the rights
or remedies conferred upon the
enduser, or the liabilities imposed
on the seller, by any statue or other
laws in respect of the sale of the
Product.
