IMPORTANT:
Installation of this shower panel is a two-person job.
Do not place the glass panel on hard surfaces! Cover
any hard surfaces you are working on with a
cushioned material, to help prevent the glass from
shattering on contact.
Beforebeginning, please familiariseyourselfwiththe
glass-handlingguideattachedtotheglasspanels.
Where appropriate the top end of the glass panels will
be indicated.
Ifanti-calciumglasshasbeenpurchased,thetreated
side of the glass willbe indicated and should always face
towardstheinside(wetside)oftheshowerenclosure.
Unwrap all parts carefully to avoid damaging the
chrome fittings!
Please check the glass and all components thoroughly
beforeinstallation;if anyofthepartshavebeensupplied
damagedorincorrect,contactMajesticimmediately.Any
faults with the product found after installation cannot be
rectified and Majestic will not be held responsible for re-
installation of faulty or marked goods.
Whetherfittingtoatiledfloorortray,ensuretheareais
degreased, dust-free and level.

The floor profile is supplied over-length; mark it to the width of the

glass with a strip of masking tape. Cut it to length, then filesmooth.

Placetheprofileonthefloorortray,andmarkitspositionusing
masking tape.
Runa3mmbeadofsiliconealongtheundersideofthefloor
profile,andcarefullyreplaceintothemarkedposition;secureit
with masking tape.

Disassemble the support arms.

When measuring the arms the length is represented by X
Floor or Tray
Checkthatthesupportingwallis square;makeanoteifitis
l e an i n g b y mo r e t h an + o r – 1 0 mm a t t h e app r o x i m a t e h e i g h t
oftheglass.Measurefromtheinsideofthefloorprofiletothe
supporting wall (Xmm), and minus 20mm from the figure; then
cut the support arm to the calculated length.

amount extra off the support arm.

Repeat step 4 for the other support arm, remembering to
5 measure each arm separately.
Ifyouhavetocutthesupportarmsatdifferentlengths,take
note of which side is which.
Use a spirit level andsetsquare tomark the wall perpendicular
toone end of the floor profile; measure inwards 100mm along
thewallandmakeanothermark.Useaspiritleveltodrawa
vertical line up the wall from the second mark.
Repeatstep6attheoppositeendofthefloorprofile.
7Cuttherubberstriptothelengthofthefloorprofileandinsert
it. Fit the support arm bosses to the inside of the glass by
positioning them centrally to the pre-cut holes and tightening
( x mm)

Usethesuctionglasslifterstogentlylowerthe glasspanelintothe
floorprofile,beingcarefulnottoknockitout ofposition.Checkthe
glasspanelis level;packitupwithrubberstripsifnecessary,taking
note of their positions.
10 Droponeofthesupportarmsintoitsboss.Usingaspiritlevel,
hold the support arm level against the wall, and mark the centre
ofthearmonthepreviously-drawnverticalline;theresulting
cross is the centre point of the support arm wall socket.
Remove the support arm.

levels with a spirit level acrossthe wall.

Drill7mmholesatthecentreofthecrossesmarkedonthe
wall; insert Rawl plugs; tightly screw both support arm wall
sockets into place.

13 Check that the length and positioning of the support arms is
correct:insertoneofthesupportarmsintoitswallsocket.Drop
the90°endintotheglassbossandtightenthegrubscrew.Slide
the support arm in and out of its wall socket until the glass is
plumb vertical, then tighten the two socket grub screws fully. Fit
the second support arm in the same way.
14 Onceyouaresatisfiedthatthesupportarmsarelocatedcorrectly,
loosentheglassbossgrubscrewsandliftthesupportarmsout.Lift
theglasspanelfromthefloorprofileusingsuctionglasslifters,andset
tooneside(leavingthesupportarmssuspendedfromthewall).
Applya bead of siliconealongtheinsideof thefloorprofile,as shown.

Usingthe suction glass lifters, carefully re-insert the glass panel
into the floor profile; drop the support arms into the bosses, and
tighten the grub screws.

Makesureallscrewsandfittingsaretight.Applyadabofsilicone
tothescrewcoversandfitthemoverthebossAllenbolts.
