1. Safety
WARNING: To avoid injury, read all safety information below before using the Manhattan T3.
Please heed all warnings and keep these instructions. Failure to follow these safety instructions
could result in fire, electric shock, or other injury or damage to the Manhattan T3 or other property.
Device Information
Information such as the model number, serial number and electrical rating are located on the
bottom of the Manhattan T3.
Power
The Manhattan T3 is supplied with an external 100V - 240V AC, 50/60Hz power supply that
connects by 12V DC plug to the receiver and by UK mains plug to the mains. The Manhattan T3’s
external power supply must be plugged into a 100V - 240V AC, 50/60Hz supply. Always connect
the 12V DC plug to the Manhattan T3 before connecting the mains plug.
The Manhattan T3 has no on/o switch. To disconnect the Manhattan T3 from power, switch o
the mains socket it is connected to and then unplug the mains plug. Make sure the mains plug is
always easily accessible. When connecting or disconnecting the mains plug, always hold it by its
sides. Keep fingers away from the metal part of the plug.
WARNING: These symbols are printed on the rating label underneath the product
and mean to only use the power supply listed here in these instructions.
Cables
Make sure all cables are positioned so they are unlikely to be walked on, crushed or damaged by
things placed on or against them. Pay particular attention to the power cable where it connects to
the Manhattan T3 and comes out of the external power supply. Always disconnect the Manhattan
T3 as described in the Power section before connecting or adjusting cables to it.

The Manhattan T3 works best in ambient temperatures between 0° and 35° C (32° and 95° F) and
can be stored at temperatures between -20° and 45° C (-4° and 113° F). While you’re using the
Manhattan T3, it’s normal for the case to get warm as it is designed to transfer heat from inside
the unit to the cooler air outside.
Use the Manhattan T3 only in moderate climates and not in tropical climates. Do not use or
place the Manhattan T3 in places where the temperature can suddenly change and cause
condensation, such as in front of air conditioning units. Do not allow the Manhattan T3 to get wet
as this is dangerous. Do not expose it to dripping or splashing. Do not place objects filled with
liquids, such as vases, on the Manhattan T3. In the event liquid (e.g. water, juice, oil or pet urine) or
