The chocolate fountain is considered aboveall an aracve item who gives a touch of originality
and class to your buets and your display cases.
The ease of use and maintenance make the arcle easily usable and adaptable to dierent oc-
casions.
However, Martellato recommends you should read this manual in all its parts.

READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USE
PRELIMINARY REQUIREMENTS FOR SAFETY
• The fountain is AN ITEM FOR ATTRACTION
• Before usage, check the integrity of the equipment
• When parts are damaged or defecve, please contact the retailer
• Use only original spare parts.
• Do not touch parts in funcon.
• Do not leave your device unaended or accessible to children
• Do not use the item outdoors.
• Keep the equipment and electrical cable away from hot surfaces
• Never immerse the item, the cord or plug into water or into other liquids to avoid electrical hazards
• Use the item only and exclusively within the limits of intended usage
• Never leave the item unaended when in use
• Do not touch the cochlea when the item is operang
• Before installing the plug in, make sure the voltage is the same as required for the item and check the connecon to the
protecve conductor is ecient and reliable
• Insert the plug into the socket unl you have completed and veried the installaon of the tower and auger or screw dra
• Unplug the power plug, not the cord, when the item is not used or before removing the parts for cleaning.
• Cool all parts before disassembly.
• The unit is equipped with a cable of suitable length for convenient connecon to an electrical outlet, but short enough to
avoid damaging kinks or stumble by people.
• An extension can be used very carefully . In this case, make sure that it is suitable for the characteriscs of voltage and
current. If in doubt, always consult an expert on electricity.
• The unit must be posioned on a horizontal surface in order to work properly.
• Pay aenon to the dangers of overturning and to the surface temperature of the fountain and chocolate
• In case of overturning accident, you are required to wear thermal gloves
• Do not put your hand or objects in the item when in use. Be careful not to drop objects in the tank to prevent the obstruc-
on of the tower through which the chocolate is brought up.
• Do not immerse the motor body in water or other liquids.
• Do not use it near water.
• Never use abrasive sponges or cloths to clean the item
• Do not clean with abrasive cleaners or solvents
• Do not use substances or preparaons other than those intended for the machine
(see Specicaons)
• Turn o the item and disconnect the plug from the outlet when the fountain CHOCOFONT:
- is not operang
- must be cleaned
- needs to be installed of other parts
- manifests failure or malfuncon
• do not use the item with damaged cord or plug or in case of breakdowns or breakages
• Never wash the components in the dishwasher
• The fountain CHOCOFONT is intended exclusively for professional use (shops, exhibions, etc. ..)

On the lateral surface of the base it is applied the plaque of thermal risks
THERMAL HAZARDS
During the heating without chocolate, the concave surface of the base pan reaches high tempera-
tures. Do not touch! Prevent accidental contact during this preparatory phase.
The plaque is in relaon to thermal risk at temperatures reached by the heang surface in the absence
of chocolate
The above mentioned plaques must be kept intact for the safety of the product.
Where the plates are damaged or illegible, please contact the supplier of the fountain.

Unpack the equipment of the box
Clean the pan with a soft cloth
Wash the screw (cochlea) and the tower in hot water, using a non-abrasive liquid detergent, rinse and dry
(see g. Pg 9)
Place the screw on the base of the tank, by matching the groove on the bottom with the tongue that is at
the centre of the engine base.
Make sure the attachment is correct.
Do not assemble or disassemble the tower and the cochlea when the item is operating or connected to the
electrical outlet.
make sure that the tower is correctly xed on the three pins of the basin
CHOCOFONT is easy to use, just follow these simple instructions.
Equipment is supplied partially disassembled, so before use it is necessary to assemble some elements (tower and screw).

Steps to follow for the operation of CHOCOFONT and to prepare the chocolate fluid.

Place the fountain on a stable support near a power outlet. Make sure the plan is level and stable, otherwise
the cochlea does not ow efciently the chocolate
Do not turn on the motor with the control knob at once
Turn the switch on HEATER and let the item heat for about 5 minutes before putting the chocolate
THERMAL HAZARD - During warming with no chocolate the concave surface of the base pan reaches high
temperatures.
Do not touch and prevent accidental contact during this preparatory phase
Meanwhile...
Preparation of chocolate
• To melt the chocolate in a short time you can use the microwave.
• Pour the chocolate in a bowl and a part of cooking oil (you can add more oil if the chocolate is not that
uid).
• You can add more liquid at this stage of preparation.
• Place the mixture in the oven and let it melt for about 2 1⁄2 minutes.
• Once ready, stir the mixture. If necessary, put it in the microwave until it is completely dissolved (about 2
minutes). For proper operation of the equipment, the chocolate must be completely dissolved (should not
Chocolate be smooth, add more oil, use a spoon to check its consistency).
Never add cold liquid to chocolate in order to avoid operational difculties or item damages
Turn the switch on MOTOR in order to have both the motor and the heater on.
Fountain effect
Carefully pour the melted chocolate into the pan. Chocolate, transported by the screw or cochlea, begins
to ow down evenly to create the fountain effect.
Prevent the fall of substances or foreign bodies in the tank, which may obstruct or make difcult the ow
of the chocolate.
For best results, chocolate should contain at most (50%) 60% cacao, a higher percentage requires the addi-
tion of oil to get the best density and viscosity
DO NOT ADD COLD LIQUIDS TO CHOCOLATE
Because this would make the chocolate too thick, making it difcult the ow through the tower, and favou-
ring the possibility of equipment damages.

MALFUNCTION POSSIBLE CAUSE / SOLUTION
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
For the maintenance of the fountain in time, follow the instructions for cleaning after each use, taking care to remove any trace of chocolate
during washing.
Do not use abrasive cloth or sponge on the item in order to preserve the original finish

Make sure that the item is turned off and the plug is disconnected.
Allow to cool all components of the appliance before cleaning. The tower, the auger and the base engine
become hot during use
Before the rst use and after each subsequent use, wash thoroughly the tower and the cochlea. Do not
wash in dishwasher
To facilitate cleaning of the item, carefully disassemble the tower and the screw (after they have cooled),
and therefore:
• Remove the chocolate residue with paper towels.
• Immerse in boiling water for 5 minutes.
• wash with suitable detergent, non abrasive
• Rinse and dry
Remove from the pan the most possible chocolate from the base.
Use a cloth or sponge to clean the external part of the item, dry with a soft cloth
Collect and dispose the chocolate according to local regulations

Please therefore take all the necessary informaon with the relevant authories.
The recovery for disposal in accordance with the requirements of the law is carried out through the
Martellato commercial network (ask your supplier).

Il fascino che rilascia il cioccolato in movimento smola anche le voglie più
nascoste di consumare un sorso di cioccolato in compagnia, abbinato a della
frua o a dei pasccini.
La semplicità d’uso e la facile manutenzione rendono l’arcolo facilmente u-
lizzabile ed adaabile alle diverse occasioni. Ciò tuavia, Martellato consiglia
di leggere il presente manuale d’uso in tue le sue par.

• LA FONTANA E’ UN’ APPARECCHIATURA A SCOPO ATTRATTIVO
• Prima di ogni ulizzo vericare I’integrità dell’ apparecchiatura
• Qualora alcune par risultassero danneggiate o in caso dl malfunzionamento rivolgersi direamente
al rivenditore
• Ulizzare solo ricambi originali.
• Non toccare le par in movimento.
• Non lasciare l’apparecchiatura incustodita, se può essere raggiungibile da bambini
• Non ulizzare l’apparecchio all’aperto.
• Tenere l’apparecchio e il cavo di collegamento elerico lontano da superci calde
• Non immergere mai l’apparecchio, il cavo o la spina in acqua o altri liquidi per evitare rischi di natura
elerica
• Ulizzare l’apparecchio solo ed esclusivamente nei limi di impiego previs
• Non lasciare mai l’apparecchio incustodito quando è in funzione
• Non toccare la vite di pescaggio ( coclea ) quando I’apparecchio è in funzione
• Prima di inserire la spina nella presa vericare che la tensione di rete sia la stessa prevista per la fon-
tana e che il collegamento al conduore di protezione ( messa a terra ) sia eciente ed adabile
• Inserire la spina nella presa di corrente solo dopo aver completato e vericato il montaggio della torre
e della coclea o vite di pescaggio

• Disinserire la spina di alimentazione senza rare il cavo quando l’ apparecchiatura non viene ulizzata
o prima di smontare le varie par per la pulizia.
• Far rareddare tue le par prima di procedere allo smontaggio.
• L’apparecchio è provvisto di un cavo di lunghezza adeguata per il comodo collegamento ad una presa
elerica, ma abbastanza corto per evitare dannosi aorcigliamen oppure inciampi da parte di una per-
sona.
• E’ possibile ulizzare con molta aenzione una prolunga. In questo caso, assicurarsi che questa sia
idonea per caraerische di tensione e corrente. Nel dubbio consultare sempre un esperto elerico.
• L’apparecchio deve essere posizionato su un piano orizzontale per potere funzionare correamente.
• Prestare aenzione ai pericoli di ribaltamento ed alla temperatura delle superci della fontana e del
cioccolato
• In caso di ribaltamento accidentale, intervenire indossando precauzionalmente guan termici
• Non inserite la mano o altri corpi estranei nell’apparecchio quando è in funzione. Durante l’uso fare
aenzione a non far cadere corpi estranei nella vaschea per evitare l’ostruzione della torre araverso
cui viene portato in alto il cioccolato.
• Non immergere il corpo motore in acqua o altri liquidi.
• Non usare vicino all’acqua.
• Non usare mai spugne o panni abrasivi per pulire l’ apparecchiatura
• Non pulire con detersivi abrasivi o solven
• Non utilizzare sostanze o preparati diversi da quelli per i quali l’ apparecchio è previsto (vede-
re Caraerische tecniche)
• Spegnere l’ apparecchiatura e staccare sempre la spina dalla presa elerica quando la fontana CHO-
COFONT:
- Non viene uizzata
- Deve essere pulita
- Devono essere installa i vari componen
- Manifesta guas o anomalie di funzionamento
• Non ulizzare l’apparecchio con cavo o spina danneggia o in caso di guas o roure
• Non lavare mai i componen da pulire in lavastoviglie
• La fontana Martellato CHOCOFONT è desnata esclusivamente all’ impiego professionale ( negozi,
esposizioni etc..)

Durante il riscaldamento senza cioccolato la supercie concava della base e della vaschetta rag-
giungono temperature elevate. Non toccare ed impedire il contatto accidentale durante tale fase
preparatoria.
Targhea per rischio termico in relazione alle temperature raggiungibili dalla supercie riscaldante in
assenza del carico di cioccolata

Estrarre l’apparecchiatura dall’imballo
Pulire con un panno umido e morbido la vaschetta
Lavare la vite di pescaggio (coclea) e la torre in acqua calda, utilizzando un detersivo liquido non abrasivo,
risciacquare ed asciugare ( v. g. pg 9 )
Posizionare Ia coclea sulla base della vaschetta, facendo combaciare la scanalatura sul fondo con il piedino
posto al centro della base motore.
Assicurarsi che il ssaggio sia corretto.
Non montare o smontare la torre e la coclea quando l’apparecchio è in funzione o connesso alla presa elet-
trica.
Accertarsi che la torre sia ssata correttamente sui tre perni della vaschetta.
La fontana CHOCOFONT è facile da usare, basta seguire queste semplici istruzioni.
L’apparecchiatura viene fornita parzialmente smontata, per cui prima dell’uso è necessario montare alcuni elementi (torre e vite di pescag-
gio).
Seguire la successione di operazioni come nella seguente tabella.
