1-1-1 Precautions When Controlling the Unit by Digital
When controlling the unit by digital, set the ["M_S": Master/Slave setting] in the Start-up menu to
"OFF".
Set Master/Slave
to “OFF”.
✽The digital control is also available in the master unit, but sometimes there is a delay in communication.

2-2 Pins of Conversion Connector Used for Communication
The CO-MET2-9/CO-MET2-25/CO-OPT2-9/CO-OPT2-25 connections communicate using three of the
RS-232C signals: TxD, RxD, and GND.
The CO-MET4-25/CO-OPT4-25 connection communicates using five of the RS-485 signals: TxD+, TxD-,
RxD+, RxD-, and GND.
In order to connect the conversion connector to your controller (PC, etc.), refer to [2-3 Pin Assignment of
Conversion Connectors].

When setting the DTE/DCE selector switch of CO-OPT2-9/CO-OPT2-25, refer to the manual of the
controller like a PC used and check the pin assignments of the RS-232C port before setting.
If the settings are not correctly done, communications will not work properly.

CO-OPT cable
When the length of each cable connected to the PVCE/PVCEJ series is longer than 3m, it can be
affected by noise. In that case, take an appropriate measure against noise.
When using units as CE marking compatible, attach ferrite cores to the cables connected to CO-M
cable connection connector (IN/OUT), USB, and LAN on PVCE/PVCEJ series for countermeasures
against radiation noise.
Attach the cores as close to each connector on the unit as possible.

generated in the AC input line when the output of a high-voltage power supply used in combination

high-voltage power supply as much as possible.
