2. Proper use
This device is designed to output audio signals via the
3.5 mm jack audio cable supplied in the delivery.
Power is supplied to the device via the USB
connection.
The product is intended for private use only and not
for industrial or commercial use.
Please note that we shall not be liable in cases of
improper use:
• Do not modify the product without our consent
and do not use any auxiliary equipment which we
have not approved or supplied.
• Use only spare parts and accessories which we
have supplied or approved.

3. Scope of delivery
Please check your purchase to ensure all items are
included and contact us within 14 days of purchase if
the delivery is incomplete. With the loudspeakers that
you have purchased you receive:

5. Safety and maintenance
5.1. Operational safety
• Never open the housing of the
loudspeaker! Parts requiring maintenance
are not included.
• This device is not intended for use by
people (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or
for those without experience and/or
knowledge, unless they are supervised
by a person responsible for their safety
or they have been instructed in its use.
Children should be supervised to ensure
they do not play with this device.
• Keep packaging material out of reach
of babies and children. There is a risk of
asphyxiation.
• The loudspeaker is not intended for use in
heavy industry companies.
5.2. Electricity supply
• Power is supplied to the device via the
USB cable supplied in the delivery.
Position all cables so that they cannot be

stepped on or tripped over.
• To disconnect the power supply from your
device, pull the USB plug out of the PC.
Always pull on the USB plug itself when
removing it from the PC. Never pull on the
cable.
• Stop using the device if the housing or
cable is damaged. Please contact the
service centre if this is the case.
• Do not place containers containing liquid,
e.g. vases, on or near to the device, and
protect all the parts from drips or splashes.
The container may tip over and the liquid
may impair the electrical safety of the
device.
5.3. Installation location
• In the first few hours of use new devices
can give off a typical, unavoidable but
totally harmless smell, which wears off
with time. To help reduce the amount of
odour build-up, we recommend that you
ventilate the room at regular intervals. We
have taken appropriate measures during
the development of this device so that

levels are explicitly below legislative limits.
• Do not place any objects on the cable to
avoid damaging it.
• Keep the device and any other devices
connected to it away from moisture. Avoid
dust, heat and direct sunlight in order to
prevent malfunction.
• Place and operate all the components on
a stable, level and vibration-free surface
in order to prevent the loudspeaker from
falling down.
• Maintain a minimum distance of approx.
5cm between the device and any walls.
Ensure that ventilation is adequate.
• Modern furniture is coated with a wide
range of varnishes and plastics, and
treated with very different care products.
Therefore, it is not possible to entirely
exclude the possibility that some of these
substances contain components that
could corrode and soften the device´s
rubber feet. Place a non-skid mat
underneath the device as necessary.
• Do not place any naked flames (e.g.
candles) on the device.

• Only use the device in residential rooms or
similar rooms.
5.4. Electromagnetic
compatibility
• Keep a distance of at least one metre from
high frequencies and magnetic sources of
interference (television, other loudspeaker
boxes, mobile or cordless telephones etc.)
to avoid malfunctions.
• Do not use any accessories other than
those supplied.
5.5. Repairs
Please contact our service centre if you have
technical problems with your device. Repairs
should only be performed by our authorised
service partners.
Please contact our customer service if:
−liquid has seeped inside the device.
−the loudspeaker is not working
properly.
−The device has been dropped or the
housing is damaged.
