Milestone’s “KVM / SERVER SHARER” Switch is a device that helps person/s to share
multiple Server / PC with a single set of VGA,KBD and Mouse.

Note:
♦ Whenever a particular server is booted the respective channel automatically gets
selected and gets booted.
♦ All the servers can be booted simultaneously.
♦ Respective channels are selected only when corresponding servers are on.

Installation:
There are two modes in this server sharer unit.
1. Off Line Mode
2. On Line Mode
Off Line Mode:
 Keep the Monitors and all servers OFF, before installing the unit. Connect the
Kbd, Mouse and Monitor extension cables from servers to a SEVER
SHARER UNIT. Attach Kbd, Mouse and Monitor at Kbd, Mouse and VGA
Connecter Positions respectively.
 Turn the ON all the servers and monitors.
 System is now ready to operate.
On Line Mode:
 Switch on the unit before starting the installation.
 Attach Kbd, Mouse and Monitor on KVM Switch respectively.
 Connect the Kbd, Mouse and Monitor extension cables from Servers to the
KVM unit On Line
 System is now ready to operate.

OPERATION:
1. Through Hot Keys on the Front Panel.
 From the Front panel key pad of the unit, Choose No 1 to 2 4 or 8 for
selecting corresponding server. Respective LED will light for your
selection.
2. Through Key Board
 The Server can be selected through keyboard by pressing following keys.
Server Press Key to Select from KBD
Server 1 Ctrl, alt 1 / Scroll Scroll 1
Server 2 Ctrl, alt 1 / Scroll Scroll 2
Server 3 Ctrl, alt 1 / Scroll Scroll 3

Note: Press scroll 2 times. The monitor becomes blank. Then select the
respective channel. 1 – 16
