1. Safety Symbol Definitions
DANGER! − Indicates a hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury. The possible
hazards are shown in the adjoining symbols or explained
in the text.
Beware of electric shock from wiring. Shut down welding
power source, and be sure it cannot be accidentally ener-
gized before making remote control connections. Be sure
remote control is turned all the way off before turning on
or off the welding power source.

Have only trained and qualified persons install, operate,
or service this unit. Call your distributor if you do not un-
derstand the directions. For WELDING SAFETY and
EMF information, read owner’s manual(s).
Proposition 65 Warnings
Welding or cutting equipment produces fumes or gases which contain
chemicals known to the State of California to cause birth defects and,
in some cases, cancer. (California Health & Safety Code Section
25249.5 et seq.)

California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
Wash hands after use.
2. Installation And Operation
.The RCCS-RJ (Rotary Current And Contactor Control) is equipped with an RJ plug.

And Contactor Control)
2 Velcro Straps
3 Torch
Secure to torch with velcro straps.
4 RJ Plug
Insertplug into matching receptacle
on welding power source.
5 Current And Contactor
Control Thumbwheel
Turn thumbwheel clockwise to en-
ergize the welding power source
and increase current level up to that
set on the welding power source
current control.
Turn thumbwheel in the opposite
direction to reduce current output
to zero, and deenergize the welding
power source.
