Operation
One the appliance has been filled with soap and
the On/Off switch 5has been set to "ON" ...
1) Hold your hand beneath the infrared sensor 6/
the soap outlet 7.
The indicator lamp 8illuminates and the
pump starts to operate.
2) Hold your hand beneath the infrared sensor 6/
the soap outlet 7 until you have enough soap
in the palm of your hand. Now remove your
hand from beneath the appliance. The appli-
ance will stop the soap flow automatically.
The indicator lamp goes out 8.
NOTE
► If you do not remove your hand, the appliance
will automatically stop the soap flow after a
few seconds. However, the indicator lamp 8
will remain illuminated for as long as your
hand is beneath the infrared sensor 6.
3) If you do not intend to use the appliance for a
longer period, move the On/Off switch 5to
the "OFF" position and remove the batteries.
Cleaning and care
Wipe the appliance with a damp cloth. If required,
use a mild detergent on the cloth.
If the infrared sensor 6becomes soiled, clean it
carefully with a dry cotton bud.
Storage
♦ Always wipe the appliance down thoroughly
before storing.
♦ If you do not intend to use the appliance for a
longer period, remove any remaining soap from
the soap tank 3.
It should also be rinsed out thoroughly with
clear water. Then allow the appliance to stand
for a while with the lid 1open so that the soap
tank 3can dry out.
♦ Remove the batteries.
♦ Store the appliance in a clean and dry location.

Under no circumstance, should
you dispose of the appliance
in the normal domestic waste.

company or your municipal waste facility. Please
observe the currently applicable regulations.
Please contact your waste disposal centre if you
are in any doubt.
Used batteries must not be
disposed of in the household
waste.
All consumers are statutorily obliged to dispose of
batteries at a collection site of his community/city
district or at a retail store.
The purpose of this obligation is to ensure that
batteries are disposed of in a non-polluting manner.
Only dispose of batteries when they are fully
discharged.
The packaging is made from environ-
mentally friendly material and can be
disposed of at your local recycling plant.
