8) Attach the milk stopper on the air nozzle below your lid
9) Your milking machine has an oily pump. It uses fiber vanes and hydraulic oil
AW 46. Make sure to fill the reservoir with the hydraulic oil provided with
your machine. To ensure that the vanes in the pump are oiled, detach the oil
tube from the oil tank and pour the hydraulic oil directly into the tube until it is
about 3” up the tube. Attach the oil tube back to the oil tank, open the oil tank
and pour the rest of the oil into it. Put the lid back onto the oil tank and refill as
needed. It can be found in auto and industrial stores.
Please clean the machine prior to use. Run one cycle each of an anbacterial soap,
sanizing rinse and clean water rinse.

OPERATION OF THE MILKING MACHINE
TK4-3PS
Pull out the
black rubber
plugs
1. Turn on the milking machine and start adjusting your vacuum regulator,
remove the cap and turn right to increase pressure or left to reduce pressure
until you’re within the range of .35-.40. on the vacuum gauge.
Vacuum regulator
2. Take one cluster at a time from the hook on the machine and ensure that the
valves are open. Insert the goat’s teats into the liners on the cluster. The liner
will begin to suction from the teat.

11
Proceed with the rest of the clusters following the same steps.
HOW TO TURN OFF YOUR MACHINE AND FINISH THE MILKING
PROCESS
1. Once the milk begins to slow down from each goat, milking is almost complete.
Close the valve on the milking cluster, then remove it from the goat’s udder and
hang it on the hook on the machine.
You are all set!
This model has a milk distributor tube that will be consolidating all the milk
into one tube and will start filling up the buckets in order. You don’t need to
turn off your milking machine when you notice that one bucket is completely
full. The milk will pass to the second and third bucket. As the 3rd bucket gets
near full, the orange ball underneath the milking lid on that bucket will rise.
The milk stopper will help prevent most of the liquid from being sucked into
the air hose. If you notice the ball has risen to the top of the lid, cut off the
vacuum and dump the bucket. If you aren’t done milking, put the lid back onto
the bucket and continue to milk.

12
Do not pull the liners off the teats. Hold the liners until the pressure releases and
they begin to slide off. Make sure to hold them as they slide. You can also insert
a finger between the liner and the teat to help release the pressure faster.
Place the milking claw back on the machine. Proceed with removing the rest of
the clusters in the same way. Turn off your milking machine and reopen the
valves on all of the milking clusters to release the pressure on the vacuum pump.
Clean and disinfect the udder to clean them.
Remove the hoses from the lid of the stainless steel milk container and take your
milk to be processed.
Clean your machine after each use following the instructions
“How Do I Wash My Milking Machine.”
