1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Der SLA-35 dient zur Pegel- und Impedanzanpas-
sung beim Zusammenschalten von verschiedenen
Audiogeräten (z. B. Anschluss eines MP3-Spielers,
Mobiltelefons, PCs an einen Verstärker oder an ein
Mischpult). Durch eine richtige Pegel- und Impe-
danzeinstellung können Signalverzerrungen oder
Lautstärkeeinbußen vermieden werden.
2 Wichtige Hinweise für den Gebrauch
Die Geräte (Verstärker und Netzgerät) entsprechen
allen relevanten Richtlinien der EU und sind deshalb
mit gekennzeichnet.
WARNUNG Das Netzgerät wird mit lebensgefähr-
lich hoher Netzspannung versorgt.
Nehmen Sie deshalb niemals selbst
Eingriffe am Netzgerät vor. Durch un-
sachgemäßes Vorgehen besteht die
Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages.
GDie Geräte sind nur zur Verwendung im Innenbe-
reich geeignet. Schützen Sie sie vor Tropf- und
Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0 – 40 °C).
GNehmen Sie den Verstärker nicht in Betrieb bzw.
ziehen Sie sofort das Netzgerät aus der Steck-
dose,
1. wenn sichtbare Schäden an einem der Geräte
vorhanden sind,
2. wenn nach einem Sturz oder Ähnlichem der
Verdacht auf einen Defekt besteht,
3. wenn Funktionsstörungen auftreten.
Geben Sie die Geräte in jedem Fall zur Reparatur
in eine Fachwerkstatt.
GVerwenden Sie zum Reinigen nur ein trockenes,
weiches Tuch, niemals Wasser oder Chemikalien.
GWerden die Geräte zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig
angeschlossen, falsch bedient oder nicht fachge-
recht repariert, kann keine Haftung für daraus
resultierende Sach- oder Personenschäden und
keine Garantie für die Geräte übernommen wer-
den.
Sollen die Geräte endgültig aus dem
Betrieb genommen werden, übergeben Sie
sie zur umweltgerechten Entsorgung einem
örtlichen Recyclingbetrieb.
3 Inbetriebnahme
1) Die Signalquelle an den 3,5-mm-Klinkeneingang
(5) oder an den Cinch-Eingang (7) anschließen.
2) Den Eingang des nachfolgenden Gerätes an den
3,5-mm-Klinkenausgang (6) oder an den Cinch-
Ausgang (8) anschließen.
3) Vorerst den Regler LEVEL (1) in die Mittelposi-
tion 0 drehen und den Schalter IMPEDANCE (4)
in die Position HI schieben.
4) Das Netzgerät an die Buchse 12–24 V (3) an-
schließen und in eine Steckdose (230 V~/50 Hz)
stecken. Die Betriebsanzeige ON (2) leuchtet.
5) Wenn bei einem sehr hohen Eingangspegel das
Signal am nachfolgenden Gerät verzerrt ist, den
Schalter IMPEDANCE in die Position LO schie-
ben. Dadurch wird der Signalpegel um 5,6 dB ver-
ringert und gleichzeitig die Eingangsimpedanz
des SLA-35 auf 8,1 kΩ reduziert.
6) Ist das Signal weiterhin verzerrt, den Regler
LEVEL entsprechend nach links in Richtung
- 20
drehen. Ist das Signal zu leise, den Regler ent-
sprechend weiteraufdrehen in Richtung +20.

1 Applications
The SLA-35 is used to match the level and the
impedance when interconnecting different audio
units (e. g. connection of MP3 player, mobile phone,
PC to an amplifier or to a mixer). A correct adjust-
ment of the level and the impedance will prevent sig-
nal distortion or volume loss.
2 Important Notes
The units (amplifier and power supply unit) corre-
spond to all relevant directives of the EU and are
therefore marked with .
GThe units are suitable for indoor use only. Protect
them against dripping water and splash water,

The power supply unit uses danger-
ous mains voltage. Leave servicing to
skilled personnel only. Inexpert han-
dling may result in electric shock.
high air humidity and heat (admissible ambient
temperature range: 0 – 40 °C).
GDo not operate the amplifier or immediately dis-
connect the power supply unit from the socket
1. if one of the units is visibly damaged,
2. if a defect might have occurred after a unit was
dropped or suffered a similar accident,
3. if malfunctions occur.
In any case the units must be repaired by skilled
personnel.
GFor cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth; never use
water or chemicals.
GNo guarantee claims for the units and no liability
for any resulting personal damage or material
damage will be accepted if the units are used for
other purposes than originally intended, if they are
not correctly connected or operated, or if they are
not repaired in an expert way.
If the units are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling
plant for a disposal which is not harmful to
the environment.
3 Operation
1) Connect the signal source to the 3.5 mm input (5)
or to the RCA input (7).
2) Connect the input of the successive unit to the
3.5 mm output (6) or to the RCA output (8).
3) For the time being, set the control LEVEL (1) to
the mid-position 0 and the switch IMPEDANCE
(4) to the position HI.
4) Connect the power supply unit to the jack
12–24 V (3) and to a mains socket (230 V~/
50 Hz). The power LED ON (2) lights up.
5) If the signal at the successive unit is distorted due
a very high input level, set the switch IMPED-
ANCE to the position LO. This will reduce the sig-
nal level by 5.6 dB and at the same time the input
impedance of the SLA-35 to 8.1 kΩ.
6) If the signal is still distorted, turn back the control
LEVEL towards
- 20. If the signal is too poor, turn
up the control towards +20.

1 Possibilités dʼutilisation
Le SLA-35 permet dʼadapter le niveau et lʼimpé-
dance lorsque différents appareils audio sont
connectés ensemble (p. ex. branchement dʼun lec-
teur MP3, téléphone mobile, PC à un amplificateur
ou à une table de mixage). On peut ainsi éviter des
distorsions de signal ou des pertes de volume en
réglant correctement le niveau et lʼimpédance.
2 Conseils importants dʼutilisation
Les appareils (amplificateur et bloc secteur) répon-
dent à toutes les directives nécessaires de lʼUnion
européenne et portent donc le symbole .
GLes appareils ne sont conçus que pour une utilisa-
tion en intérieur. Protégez-les des éclaboussures,

GPour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon
sec et doux, en aucun cas de produits chimiques
ou dʼeau.
GNous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de
dommages corporels ou matériels résultants si les
appareils sont utilisés dans un but autre que celui
pour lequel ils ont été conçus, sʼils ne sont pas
correctement branchés ou utilisés ou sʼils ne sont
pas réparés par une personne habilitée ; en outre,
la garantie deviendrait caduque.
Lorsque les appareils sont définitivement reti-
rés du service, vous devez les déposer dans
une usine de recyclage de proximité pour
contribuer à leur élimination non polluante.
3 Fonctionnement
1) Reliez la source de signal à lʼentrée jack 3,5 (5)
ou à lʼentrée RCA (7).
2) Reliez lʼentrée de lʼappareil suivant à la sortie jack
3,5 (6) ou à la sortie RCA (8).
3) Tournez le réglage LEVEL (1) sur la position
médiane 0 pour lʼinstant et mettez le sélecteur
IMPEDANCE (4) sur la position HI.
4) Reliez le bloc secteur à la prise 12–24 V (3) et
à une prise secteur 230 V~/50 Hz. Le témoin de
fonctionnement ON (2) brille.
5) Si, en cas dʼun niveau dʼentrée très élevé, le
signal sur lʼappareil suivant est distordu, mettez le
sélecteur IMPEDANCE sur la position LO. Le
niveau de signal est diminué de 5,6 dB et simulta-
nément, lʼimpédance dʼentrée du SLA-35 est
réduite à 8,1 kΩ.
6) Si le signal continue à être distordu, tournez le
réglage LEVEL en conséquence vers la gauche
vers
- 20. Si le signal est trop faible, tournez le
réglage en conséquence vers +20.

1 Possibilità dʼimpiego
Lo SLA-35 serve per adattare il livello e lʼimpedenza
quando si assemblano differenti apparecchi audio
(p. es. collegamento di un lettore MP3, di un cellu-
lare, di un PC con un amplificatore o un mixer). Gra-
zie allʼimpostazione corretta del livello e dellʼimpe-
denza si evitano distorsioni dei segnali e perdite di
volume.
2 Avvertenze importanti per lʼuso
Gli apparecchi (amplificatore e alimentatore) sono
conformi a tutte le direttive rilevanti dellʼUE e per-
tanto portano la sigla .
AVVERTIMENTO Lʼalimentatore è alimentato con
pericolosa tensione di rete. Non
intervenire mai personalmente al
suo interno. La manipolazione
scorretta può provocare delle sca-
riche elettriche pericolose.
GGli apparecchi sono previsti solo per lʼuso allʼin-
terno di locali. Proteggerli dallʼacqua gocciolante e
dagli spruzzi dʼacqua, da alta umidità dellʼaria e
dal calore (temperatura dʼimpiego ammessa fra
0 e 40 °C).
GNon mettere in funzione lʼamplificatore e staccare
subito lʼalimentatore dalla presa di rete se:
1. uno degli apparecchi presenta dei danni visibili;
2. dopo una caduta o dopo eventi simili sussiste il
sospetto di un difetto;
3. gli apparecchi non funzionano correttamente.
Per la riparazione rivolgersi sempre ad unʼofficina
competente.
GPer la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido,
asciutto; non impiegare in nessun caso acqua o
prodotti chimici.
GNel caso dʼuso improprio, di collegamento sba-
gliato, dʼimpiego scorretto o di riparazione non a
regola dʼarte degli apparecchi, non si assume
nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni con-
sequenziali a persone o a cose e non si assume
nessuna garanzia per gli apparecchi.
Se si desidera eliminare gli apparecchi defi-
nitivamente, consegnarli per lo smaltimento
ad unʼistituzione locale per il riciclaggio.
3 Messa in funzione
1) Collegare la sorgente dei segnali con lʼingresso
jack 3,5 mm (5) o con lʼingresso RCA (7).
2) Collegare lʼingresso dellʼapparecchio a valle con
lʼuscita jack 3,5 mm (6) o con lʼuscita RCA (8).
3) Girare per il momento il regolatore LEVEL (1) in
posizione centrale 0 e spostare lʼinterruttore
IMPEDANCE (4) in posizione HI.
4) Collegare lʼalimentatore con la presa 12–24 V
(3) e inserirlo in una presa di rete (230 V~/50 Hz).
Si accende la spia di funzionamento ON (2).
5) Se in caso di livello dʼingresso molto alto, il
segnale sullʼapparecchio a valle è distorto, spo-
stare lʼinterruttore IMPEDANCE in posizione LO.
In questo modo, il livello del segnale viene ridotto
di 5,6 dB e nello stesso tempo si riduce lʼimpe-
denza dʼingresso dello SLA-35 a 8,1 kΩ.
6) Se il segnale continua ad essere distorto, girare il
regolatore LEVEL a sinistra in direzione
- 20. Se il
segnale è troppo debole, girare il regolatore
invece in direzione +20.
