About This Manual
It is important for you to understand your new scooter. By reading
this manual before you go out on your rst ride, you’ll know how
to get beer performance, comfort, and enjoyment from your new
scooter. It is also important that your rst ride on your new scooter
is taken in a controlled environment, away from cars, obstacles
and cyclists.
This manual contains important informaon regarding safety,
assembly, use, and maintenance of the scooter but is not intended
to be a complete or comprehensive manual covering all aspects
concerning scooter ownership. We recommend consulng an
expert if you have any doubts or concerns regarding your
experience or ability to properly assemble and maintain the scooter.
A Special Note For Parents and Guardians
As a parent or guardian, you bear the responsibility for the acvies
and safety of your minor child. Among these responsibilies are to
make sure that the scooter which your child is riding is properly
ed to the child; that it is in safe operang condion; that you and
your child have learned, understand and obey not only the
applicable local motor vehicle, scooter, and trac laws, but also the
common sense rules of safe and responsible scoong. As a parent,
you should read this manual before leng your child ride the
scooter. Please make sure that your child always wears an approved
helmet when riding.

warning of possible injury or death whenever the risk of falling is

• Do not to modify unit from original design and conguraon.
• Before each use, check to conrm: That all guards and pads in
place and in serviceable condion; That the area that the unit is
to be operated in is safe and suitable for safe operaon; That
the braking system is funconing properly; That all safety labels
are in place and understood by the operator; That any and all
axle guards, chain guards, or other covers or guards are in place
and in serviceable condion; and That res are in good
condion and have sucient tread remaining.
• Do not perform racing, stunt riding, or other maneuvers, which
may cause loss of control, or may cause uncontrolled operator
acons or reacons.
• Do not allow hands, feet, hair, body parts, clothing, or similar
arcles to come in contact with moving parts, wheels, or
drivetrain, while the motor is running.
• The owner shall allow the use and operaon of the unit aer a
demonstraon that such operators can understand and operate
all components of the unit before use.
• Obey all local trac and scooter riding laws and regulaons.
• Do not ride at night. Operate only with adequate daylight
condions of visibility.
• Persons with the following condions shall be cauoned not to
operate: Those with heart condions; pregnant women; persons
with head, back, or neck ailments, or prior surgeries to those
areas of the body; and persons with any mental or physical
condions that may make them suscepble to injury or impair
their physical dexterity or mental capabilies to recognize,
understand, and perform all of the safety instrucons and to be
able to assume the hazards inherent in unit use.
• Always wear safety equipment such as helmet, knee pads, and
elbow pads. Always wear a helmet when riding your scooter
and keep the chinstrap securely buckled. Always wear shoes.
• Wear proper riding are, reecve if possible, and avoid open
toe shoes.
• Avoid sharp bumps, drainage grates, and sudden surface
changes.
• Avoid streets and surfaces with water, sand, gravel, dirt, leaves,
and other debris. Wet weather impairs tracon, braking, and
visibility.
• Never allow more than one rider.

Riding a scooter without protecve gear, clothing, shoes, or a
helmet may result in serious injury or death. Always wear
protecve gear, clothing, and helmet when riding the scooter.
Ensure protecve gear does not interfere with steering,
or braking.

• Colors that are easily seen and, if possible, reecve clothing.
• Clothing appropriate for the weather condions.
• Always wear shoes
• Use of protecve gear such as pads for the knees and elbows is
highly recommended for children.
• A properly ed helmet that complies with ASTM or SNELL
helmet standards.
Do not wear:
• Loose clothing parts, strings, or jewelry that may become
entangled with moving parts on the scooter or interfere with
handling of the scooter.
• Shoes with uned shoe laces.

Helmet Use
Important! Many states have passed helmet laws regarding
children. Make sure you know your states helmet laws. It is your
job to enforce these rules with your children. Even if your state
does not have a children’s helmet law, it is recommended that
everyone wear a properly ed helmet that complies with ASTM
or SNELL helmet standards.
The correct helmet should: Figure 1.2

• Fit correctly

Baery Warnings
WARNING!
• Liquids on the baery may cause re or electric shock.
Always keep all liquids away from the baery and keep
the baery dry.
• Contact or exposure to baery leakage (lead acid) may
cause serious injury. If contact or exposure occurs
immediately call your physician. If the chemical is on the
skin or in the eyes, ush with cool water for 15 minutes.
If the chemical was swallowed, immediately give the
person water or milk. Do not give water or milk if the
paent is voming or has a decreased level of alertness.
Do not induce voming.
• Baery posts, terminals and related accessories contain
lead and lead compounds (acid), chemicals known to
the State of California to cause cancer, reproducve
harm and are toxic and corrosive. Never open the
baery.
• Tampering or modifying the electric circuit system may
cause a shock, re or explosion and permanently
damage the system. Exposed wiring, circuitry in the
charger may cause electric shock. Always keep the
charger housing closed.
• Never store at freezing temperatures. Freezing will
permanently damage the baery.
Risk of Fire: No User Serviceable Electric Parts. The following
safety hazards may result in serious injury or death to the user of
the scooter:
• Use of a baery or charger other than the supplied
Mongoose rechargeable baeries and charger may
cause a re or explosion. Only use the supplied
Mongoose rechargeable baery and charger with the
scooter.
• Using the Mongoose rechargeable baeries and charger
for any other product may result in overheang, re or
explosion. Never use the Mongoose rechargeable
baeries with another product.
• Explosive gases are created during charging. Charge the
baery in a well venlated area. Do not charge the
baery near heat or ammable materials.
• Contact between the posive and negave terminals
may result in re or explosion. Avoid direct contact
between the terminals. Picking up the baery by the
wires or charger can cause damage to the baery and
may result in a re. Always pick up the baery by its
case or handles.

❶ Loosen the hex bolts on the collar clamp using the included
5 mm hex wrench.
❷ Insert the handlebar/tube assembly onto the headset.
❸ With the front wheel pointed ahead and the handlebars
squared, ghten the hex bolts on the collar clamp using the
hex wrench.

WARNING
Riding the scooter in unsafe condions (i.e.: at night), in an unsafe
manner, or disregarding trac laws may result in an unexpected
movement, loss of control, and serious injury or death.
Riding Safely
General Safety
• Familiarize yourself with all the scooter’s features before riding.
Pracce braking.
• Expect the unexpected (e.g., opening car doors or cars backing out
of concealed driveways). Watch out for pedestrians.
• Maintain a comfortable stopping distance from all other riders,
vehicles and objects. Safe braking distances and forces are subject
to the prevailing weather condions.
• Brake will get hot from connuous use. Do not touch aer braking.
• Use original spare parts only. Do not make structural changes or
modicaons to the scooter. Replace worn or broken parts
immediately.
• Wear proper riding are, reecve if possible, and avoid open
toe shoes.
• Do not use items that may restrict your hearing and vision.
• Do not allow passengers and do not carry packages that will
interfere with your visibility or control of the scooter.
• Never hitch on to another vehicle and pull anyone or anything.
• Do not ride indoors or on surfaces that could be damaged such as
carpet or ooring.
Road Condions
• Be aware of road condions. Concentrate on the path ahead.
Avoid pot holes, gravel, wet road markings, oil, curbs, speed
bumps, drain grates and other obstacles.
• Cross train tracks at a 90 degree angle or walk your scooter across.
• Avoid sharp bumps, drainage grates & sudden surface changes
• Wet weather impairs tracon, braking & visibility
Cornering Technique
• Brake slightly before cornering and prepare to lean your body into
the corner.
• Decrease your riding speed, avoid sudden braking and sharp turns.
Safe Riding Rules for Children
• Be aware of other vehicles behind and nearby.
• If riding downhill, be extra careful. Slow down using the brakes and
maintain control of the steering.
• Stunt riding reduces ability to control and maneuver the scooter.
Videos may show people doing stunts or tricks. Do not assume you
can aempt the same tricks without risk to you and the scooter.
• Keep both hands on handlebars at all mes.

Baery Warnings
NOTICE
• The baery contains hazardous material that may cause serious
injury or death if handled, connected, or charged improperly.
Only an adult who has read and understands the warnings and
instrucons in this manual should handle, connect, or charge the
baery. Always contact Pacic Cycle at 1-800-626-2811 if you
have any quesons or concerns regarding handling, connecng,
or charging the baery.
• Charging the baery more than 24 hours could cause the baery
to explode or ignite resulng in serious injury, death or property
damage. Do not charge the baery for more than 24 hours.
Always disconnect the product from the charger aer the baery
is completely charged. Immediately disconnect the charger from
the wall aer the charger indicator light turns green.
• A damaged supply cord, connector, or charger could cause burns
to the skin, an electrical re, serious injury, death, or property
damage. Always inspect the supply cord, connector, and charger
for damage. (e.g., frayed or kinked wires, exposed inner wires,
missing insulaon) before use. If damaged, do not use the supply
cord, connector or charger for any purpose and properly dispose.
• Connecng the baery and baery charger to an extension
cord(s) could result in overheang, explosion, re, serious injury,
death, or property damage. Never charge the baery using an
extension cord. Always plug the charger directly into a wall outlet.
• Do not ride in wet/icy condions or immerse scooter in water.
Water can damage electrical and drive components and create
unsafe condions.
• The average me to charge the baery is:
React E1 - 9 hours
React E2 - 10 hours
Failure to follow the instrucons regarding charging the baery
may result in permanent damage to the baery and void the
warranty.
• The baery may become damaged if allowed to drain completely.
Always keep the baery charged.
• Devices are not intended for use at elevaons greater than 2000 m
above sea level.

• Charge the baery once a month, even when not using scooter.

Note: If your scooter stops or doesn't start, you may need to
reset it: Press in the reset buon. Restart by turning the switch
on and o. Turn switch back on and start again.
Stopping the scooter
❶ Stop pressing the hand throle.
❷ Brake by pressing down on the rear wheel stop.
❸ Turn power switch o when not in use.
Starng the scooter
❶ Turn the power switch on.
❷ Grip handlebars rmly with both hands.
❸ Press the throle buon and kick to start gliding. The scooter
must be moving at 3 mph (5 kph) while pressing the throle
buon to start the motor.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance is crical to the performance and safe
operaon of the scooter. Always inspect the scooter and conduct
necessary maintenance before each use of the scooter. Failure to
conduct maintenance on the scooter may result in malfuncon
of a crical part or serious injury or death.
WARNING Basic Maintenance
The following procedures will help you maintain your scooter for
years of enjoyable riding.
• For painted frames, dust the surface and remove any loose dirt
with a dry cloth. To clean, wipe with a damp cloth soaked in a mild
detergent soluon.
• Clear any debris between the wheels and frame
• Store your scooter indoors when not in use. Prolonged exposure
to UV rays, rain, and elements may damage the components.
• Riding on the beach or in coastal areas exposes your scooter to
salt which is very corrosive. Clean your scooter frequently.
• If paint has become scratched or chipped to the metal, use touch
up paint to prevent rust. Clear nail polish can also be used as a
preventave measure.
• Check that the wheels are securely fastened to the scooter and
axle nuts are ght.

Baery Disposal
Important! Recycle the dead baery responsibly. The baery
contains lead acid (electrolyte) and must be disposed of properly
and legally. It is illegal in most areas to incinerate lead acid
baeries or dispose of them in landlls. Take it to a federal or
state-approved lead acid baery recycler, such as an authorized
service center or your local automove baery retailer. Do not
throw the baery away with your regular household trash!

LIMITED WARRANTY AND POLICY ON REPLACEMENT PROCEDURES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Your purchase includes the following warranty which is in lieu of all other express warranes. This warranty is extended only to the inial consumer purchaser.
No warranty registraon is required. This warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
FRAME
Frames are guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 1 year. If frame failure should occur due to faulty materials or workmanship during the guarantee
period, the frame will be replaced. For frame replacement under this Pacic Limited Warranty, contact us, stang the nature of the failure, model number, date received
and the name of the store from which the scooter was received, at the address given on this page. Frame must be returned for inspecon at customer’s expense. The
length of the useful life cycle will vary depending on the type of scooter, riding condions and care the scooter receives. Compeon, jumping, downhill racing, trick riding,
trial riding, riding in severe condions or climates, riding with heavy loads or any other non-standard use can substanally shorten the useful product life cycle. Any one or
a combinaon of these condions may result in an unpredictable failure that is not covered by this warranty.
PARTS
All other parts of the unit except Normal Wear Parts are warranted against defecve materials and workmanship for a period of 1 year, and 6 months for the baery from
the date of purchase by the inial consumer purchaser, subject to the Terms and Condions of the warranty listed below. If failure of any part should occur due to faulty
materials or workmanship during the warranty period, the part will be replaced. All warranty claims must be submied to the address below and must be shipped prepaid
and accompanied by proof of purchase. Any other warranty claims not included in this statement are void. This especially includes installaon, assembly, and disassembly
costs. This warranty does not cover paint damage, rust, or any modicaons made to the scooter. Normal Wear Parts are dened as grips, wheels, and brake mechanism.
These parts are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship as delivered with the product. Any claim for repair or replacement of Normal Wear Parts
(grips, wheels, brake mechanism) and missing parts must be made within thirty (30) days of the date of purchase. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear,
improper assembly or maintenance, or installaon of parts or accessories not originally intended or compable with the scooter as sold. The warranty does not apply to
damage or failure due to accident, abuse, misuse, neglect, or the. Claims involving these issues will not be honored.
CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY
1. Your scooter has been designed for general transportaon and recreaonal use, but has not been designed to withstand abuse associated with stunng and jumping.
This warranty ceases when you rent, sell, or give away the scooter, ride with more than one person, or use the scooter for stunng or jumping.
2. This warranty does not cover ordinary wear and tear or anything you break accidentally or deliberately.
3. It is the responsibility of the individual consumer purchaser to assure that all parts included in the factory-sealed carton are properly installed, all funconal parts are
inially adjusted properly, and subsequent normal adjustments necessary to keep the scooter in good operang condion are properly made. This warranty does not
apply to damage due to improper installaon of parts, installaon of any kind of power plant or internal combuson engine, modicaon or alteraon of the brakes, or
frame in any way, or failure to properly maintain or adjust the scooter. NOTICE: Scooter specicaons subject to change without noce.
