MotoVox warrants to the rst buyer of the Product (“Buyer”) that on the date of purchase of the Product, as shown on Buyer’s
sales receipt (“Purchase Date”), the Product shall be free from defects in material or workmanship subject to and in accordance
with the terms and conditions set forth herein. The duration of this Limited Warranty is ninety (90) days from the Purchase Date
(the“Warranty Period”). MotoVox will correct, at its option, by repair or by furnishing replacement parts, any parts determined
in MotoVox’s sole discretion to have a defect in material or workmanship of the Product reported to MotoVox during theWarranty
Period, subject to the terms, conditions and limitations of this LimitedWarranty. At its option, MotoVox may require the Buyer to
return to MotoVox, at its address set forth below, at Buyer’s expense, the part claimed to be defective for MotoVox’s inspection.
MotoVox’s sole obligation under this LimitedWarranty is to repair and/or replace parts on the Product. If MotoVox determines
that any claimed defect or problem reported by Buyer is not covered by this LimitedWarranty, Buyer shall pay MotoVox its then
existing charge for any repair or replacement made by MotoVox.
TO QUALIFY FOR WARRANTY SERVICE:
1. You must present a copy of the sales receipt.
2. This product can not be used for rental or commercial use.
3. This product can not be used for competition.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
• This Limited Warranty is non-transferable after the Product’s initial sale.
• No unapproved modications can be made to the Product, its performance or otherwise, in order for this Limited Warranty
to remain in eect.
• No reimbursement is provided for towing, loss of time, loss of use, inconvenience, incidental or consequential damages.
• This Limited Warranty covers only parts and labor due to manufacturer defect. Damage due to misuse or neglect, use other
than as specied in the Owner’s Manual, or use under abnormal conditions are is not covered by this LimitedWarranty.
• MotoVox makes no warranty with respect to products or trade accessories not made by MotoVox, including, but not limited to,
engines, tires, wheels, batteries and transmissions, such products or trade accessories, such items being subject to the
manufacturer’s warranty, if any.
• This Limited Warranty does not cover minor surface blemishes, rips, tears, or other cosmetic damages due to normal use, or
other intentional or unintentional damage to the Product.
• This Limited Warranty will not cover any damage which results from the application of improper cleaners, solvents or chemicals
to the Product, or from smoke or soot, or from exposure to saltwater, sea breeze or salt.
• This Limited Warranty will not cover any damage which results from aging, such as fading of paint, deterioration of plated
surfaces, deterioration of rubber or plastics, or rusting.
• This Limited Warranty does not cover improper repair or misdiagnosis of problem.

As the vehicle owner, you are responsible for the performance of the required maintenance. You should maintain a record of
all maintenance performed your vehicle and retail all receipts covering maintenance on yoru vehicle. You may not be denied a
warranty claim solely because of your failure to ensure the performance of all scheduled maintenance or lack of maintenance
records or receipts. As the vehicle owner, you should be aware that you may be denied your warranty coverage if your vehicle or
a part has failed due to abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or unapproved modications.

primary concern. Operating this stand-up scooter safely is an
important responsibility and should not be taken lightly.
Motovox has provided you with safe operating procedures and warning
labels on your scooter and in this manual. This information will alert you
to potential hazards that could harm you or others.
It is understood that it is not practical or possible to warn you about all
possible hazards associated with o-road riding and maintaining your
scooter. You must always use your own best judgement.
Safety information is presented in a variety of forms, including:
• Safety labels and tags on the scooter
• Safety messages proceeded by a safety symbol and one
of these three signal words: DANGER, WARNING and CAUTION.
Any of the above labels can indicate a danger where you or someone
around you can be KILLED or SERIOUSLY INJURED if the
instructions that it accompanies are not followed carefully.

Your Motovox Scooter was designed as a recreational vehicle for
o-road use only and by a single rider only. This scooter is easy to
use and is ideal for riders with basic experience.
Before riding, please take your time to get acquainted with your
scooter and how it works. To protect your investment we urge you
to keep it well maintained. In addition to regular maintenance it is
important to observe and perform all pre ride and periodic checks
outlined in this Owners Manual. In this manual you will nd
helpful safety information, instructions and helpful tips. To make
it easier to use, there is a table of contents at the beginning and an
index at the end of the manual.
As you read through this manual you will nd information that
is noted with a NOTICE symbol. This is to point out key bits
of information that will help you avoid damage to your scooter
and property around you. This manual covers basic maintenance
procedures as well. For problems with your scooter that are not
covered in this manual, please refer to an authorized Motovox
Service Center, which can be located at Motovox.com.
Read the warranty page careful so that you understand your
rights and responsibilities.
Whenever you ride, tread lightly by staying on established trails
and in approved areas. Protect the environment and keep o-road

The MVs10 Stand-up Scooter can provide many years of service and
pleasure, provided you take responsibility for safety, proper maintenance
and understand the challenges you may encounter while riding it.
Fuel Safety
• Always mix and pour fuel outdoors away from sparks or ames.
• Use only containers that are approved for fuel.
• Never smoke or allow others to smoke near the MVs10 while you are
working on the engine, or when refueling.
• Carefully clean up all fuel spills before starting the engine.
• Always move at least 10 feet away from the spot of fueling before starting
up the engine.
• Always kill the engine before removing the fuel cap.
• Motovox recommends that you rst empty the fuel tank before shipping
or storage to prevent fuel spills.
• Never store your MVs10 near open ames like water heaters, furnaces,
electric motors or switches because fumes may become ignited.
Maintenance Safety
• Maintain your MVs10 as recommended in this Owners Manual.
• Use only quality replacement parts as recommended by the manufacturer.
• Let the engine cool before making any engine or drive train adjustments.
• Clean your MVs10 carefully and store in a cool, dry place.
Safe Riding
• Keep hands and feet away from all moving parts.
• Go over the entire unit looking for loose bolt, fuel leaks or any other
problems each time before you ride it.
• Replace damaged parts as soon as you can.
• Use only parts and accessories that are recommended by the Motovox.
• If a situation arises that is not covered in this Owners Manual, proceed
with caution and use your own good judgement.

As a parent, your child’s safety is your rst priority. Riding a mini bike is
very fun, but just like riding a bicycle, bad decisions can result in injury or
death. As a parent you can prevent accidents by making informed decisions
about if, when and how your child will ride. Always supervise your child
when he/she is riding.
Before you allow your child to ride you need to determine if he/she is
ready. Riding readiness can vary from one person to another. Age and
size are not the only factors that help to determine riding readiness.
There are three other factors that you should consider before deciding
if your child is ready to ride.
First, consider your child’s physical ability. A rider must be able to hold
the scooter up, and be able to reach all handlebar controls and steer the
scoter accurately.
Second, consider your child’s athletic ability. It is a good idea if they can
operate a bicycle before operating any motorized vehicle. Determine if
your child is a good judge of speed and distance while riding a bicycle
and that they react with proper foot and hand actions. Any person who
does not have good coordination, balance and agility should not at-
tempt to ride this motorized scooter.
Finally, determine their mental maturity. It is imperative that you are
honest with yourself when you answer the following questions: Does
your child think through problems and come to logical conclusions?
Does your child obey the rules when they ride their bicycle? If your child
makes bad judgements, takes unnecessary risks and ignores the rules,
they should not ride this motorized scooter.
If you have determined that your child is ready to ride please remember
the following points:
• Never let your child ride without a helmet.
• Your child’s safety is your responsibility. Do not take it lightly.
• Never push you child to try things before they are ready.
• Always supervise your child when they are riding.
• Proper maintenance and upkeep of the scooter is key to safe riding.
Any modications or improper accessories added to the
scooter using parts that are not manufactured by Motovox can make it
unsafe. Motovox strongly recommends that you do not remove any of the
original equipment or make any modications that alter the design and/or
operation of the MVs10 scooter.

The operating controls of the MVs10 are relatively simple, but a rider
must to be able to operate the throttle, brakes and other controls without
stopping to look at them. Please study the image below carefully to
become familiar with the function and the location of each control.

The Key Switch is located near the engine on the right
side of the scooter. The key switch is a good way to
keep unwanted users from riding the scooter as it
will not run without the key in the ON position.
Your MVs10 comes with folding keys so that it can
be folded out of the way when you ride. It is always a
good idea to store the extra key in a safe place.
Before starting your MVs10, you must be sure that the key switch is in the ON
position, the choke is in the ON position and that there is fuel in the primer button.
The locations and operation information of each of these controls in shown below.
The Choke Lever is located on the left side of the
engine and is used to start the engine when it is cold.
It is used to restrict the amount of air in the fuel mix-
ture to start easier and warm up. Flip the lever up to
the ON position to start, and then as the engine warms
up move the lever down to the OFF position.
The Fuel Primer Button is used to start the ow of fuel
to the carburetor and is located below the choke lever
under the carburetor. It is made of soft clear neoprene
to allow you to see the fuel in the line. Use your nger
to push it a few times when the engine is cool until you
see fuel passing through it.
The Pull Starter is used to start the engine. To start the
engine after you have conrmed the readiness of the
above three components, stand on the left side of the
scooter holding the left hand grip rmly. Using your
right hand, pull up sharply on the pull start grip to
spin the motor.

IINITIAL SETUP
The MVs10 uses a two-stroke engine. Always run
the engine using a fuel mixture of gasoline with the
proper amount of 2-cycle engine oil.
Please read instructions below before fueling.
1. Mix fuel (minimum 87 octane) and 2-cycle engine
oil in a separate container. Use a good quality 40:1
ratio 2-cycle oil. Make sure the fuel is well mixed by
shaking the container before lling the fuel tank on
the scooter. Be sure and mark the container visibly that it contains oil/gas mix.
2. Make sure that the engine is not running.
3. Open the fuel cap slowly, so that possible pressure build-up can be released.
4. Wipe o the fuel cap area to make sure that it is free of dirt and debris.
5. Pour pre-mixed Gas/Oil mixture into the fuel tank being careful not to overll.
6. After fueling, replace the fuel cap and tighten.
7. clean any spilled fuel o the tank and engine.
Never try to mix the oil and gas in the MVs10 Fuel tank,
always mix it well in a separate fuel container rst.
Move at least 10 feet away from where you lled up the tank to get
away from spills and fumes.
1. Set the choke to the ON (up) position.
2. Turn the key to the ON position.
3. Press the fuel primer bulb several times until you see fuel in the bulb.
4. Holding the left hand grip, pull the starter briskly. Note: Do not allow it to snap
back, instead, let it recoil slowly.
3. You may want to give it a little throttle by gently squeezing the thumb throttle.
4. It may be necessary to pull start the motor several times the rst time you start it.
5. Once the engine has started and run for 20 seconds, move the choke lever down
to the OFF position.
6. Let the engine warm up for a minute before riding.

Please read and follow these instructions carefully!
1. Carefully remove the MVs10 from the carton.
2. To unfold the MVs10, begin by pressing down on the FOLDING LEVER with one
hand (see below) while gently pulling up on the steering tube with the other.
3. Fully extend the steering tube to its upright position until you feel the mechanism
lock into place.
4. When you rst take the MVs10 out of the box, the HANDLEBARS are not clamped to
the steering tube in order to save space for shipping. Place the handlebar clamp over
the steering tube, taking care to position them as straight as possible. Then, using the
allen wrench found in your tool kit, rmly tighten the tension bolts in the clamp.

PRE-RIDE CHECKLIST PRE-RIDE INSPECTION
Before you ride you must be certain that you are ready to ride. Below is your pre-ride
checklist. Be sure to review all the topics below and determine your readiness to ride.

1. Have you completely read and do you thoroughly understand this
owners manual?
2. Have you found all the safety messages on your scooter and do
you understand them?
3. Do you understand the location of, and how all the operating
controls on your scooter work?
4. Are you in good mental and physical condition?
5. Are you drug and alcohol free?
6. Are you wearing a DOT-approved helmet that ts properly?
7. Are you wearing eye protection?
8. Are you wearing sturdy shoes and protective clothing?
Additional suggested protective clothing.
1. Gloves to protect your hands.
2. Sturdy riding boots that support your ankles.
3. Knee and elbow pads.
As a reminder:
Never ride without a helmet. Helmets signicantly reduce the
number and severity of head injuries. An approved DOT motorcycle helmet
is the most important part of your safety gear. Choose one that ts properly
and is snug on your head. Motorcycle dealers can help in selecting a good
quality helmet with proper t.
1. Check tire pressure with a tire gauge. Recommended tire pressure
is 25 - 28 psi for both tires.
2. Check rims to make sure they are not bent or damaged.
3. Inspect the engine for fuel leaks.
4. Check the level of fuel in the gas tank.
5. Check the drive chain to see if it needs to be lubed or tightened.
7. Check the brakes to be sure that they working properly.
8. Look over the entire scooter for loose nuts and bolts.
9. Check the throttle to be sure it moves freely and returns to the low
position on its own when released.
10. Be sure that the handlebars turn freely.
Failure to properly maintain your MVs10 scooter can lead to a
crash in which you can be seriously injured or killed. Always perform a
pre-ride inspection on your scooter and keep it in good condition to get the
most out of your Motovox MVs10.

If the engine fails to start after repeated attempts, it may mean that it is
ooded with excess fuel. A common indication of a ooded engine is a
strong smell of fuel around the scooter. Follow the steps below to clear a
ooded engine.
1. Switch the choke lever to the OFF position.
2. Push the throttle all the way in to the full open position.
3. Move the key to the OFF position.
4. Using the pull starter, crank the engine over 10 or 15 times.
5. Move the key switch back to the ON position.
6. Start the scooter with the choke in the OFF position.
To stop the engine, press the kill switch located on the handlebars or turn
the key switch to the OFF position. The engine will stop.
Before riding this scooter, be sure that you have read and understand this
entire owners manual up to this point, including the sections that are titled
Important Safety Information and Before You Ride. Even if you have
ridden other scooters in the past, take time to become familiar with how
this scooter runs and how it handles. Dierent scooters have dierent
handling characteristics. Always practice in a safe area until you feel
comfortable with how this scooter runs.
For your safety, NEVER run the engine in an enclosed space
with poor ventilation, such as a garage. The exhaust contains poisonous
carbon monoxide which can collect rapidly and cause illness or death.
This scooter is not equipped with lights. Do not ride after dark.
1. Move the key switch to the ON position.
3. If the engine is cold, ip the choke lever up into the ON position.
If the engine is warm, you may not need to use the choke at all.
4. Stand on the left side of the scooter and hold the left hand grip.
5. Press the fuel primer bulb a few times.
6. Using your right hand, pull the starter handle upward sharply until it
starts, lowering the handle back to the recoiled position gently.
7. Once the engine starts to run, let it warm up by operating the throttle for
about 20 seconds, then move the choke lever down to the OFF position.
8. Let it warm up a little. Once the engine is warm, the idle will smooth out
and the scooter will be ready to ride.
NOTE: Extended running with the choke fully on will cause the engine to run
poorly and can cause damage to the spark plug and cylinder wall.

The following section of the manual provides some basic information on
how to begin riding your MVs10 Stand-up Scooter. We will cover how to start
and stop the engine, how to use the throttle and brake and what you should
do when you nish riding.

This section will cover basic braking technique for your scooter. To slow
or stop, squeeze the brake lever rmly and smoothly. Gradually increase your
braking pressure as you feel it is needed. Keep in mind that you are in an
upright position when you are riding and jamming on the brakes suddenly
will tend to pitch you forward, which is very dangerous. When you come to a
full stop, put one foot on the ground to avoid tipping over.
Always think ahead and allow yourself enough room to stop safely. Just be
careful to apply braking power carefully to avoid sending the scooter into a
skid which will cause you to lose control. Also, use the rear brake more
heavily as locking up the front tire with hard braking is dangerous as well.
If you apply the brakes too quickly and start to skid, release the brake to
regain control and then apply braking power carefully.
When riding on wet, or loose surface conditions your braking power can be
reduced greatly and it will be much more likely to put the scooter into a skid
and lose control. If the surface is wet or loose, you must reduce your speed
and allow more room to stop safely.
Avoid jamming on the brake suddenly or accelerating too quickly as either
of these actions can cause you to lose control of the scooter.
With the scooter stopped, turn it o with the kill button, ip down the
kickstand and lean the scooter over on it to park. Always park your scooter
on a at surface to avoid tipping over. Then check over the scooter to make
sure there are no fuel leaks, damaged parts or loose nuts and bolts.
Keeping your scooter in perfect operating condition is absolutely essential
to your safety. It is also the best way to protect your investment, get maximum
performance, avoid breakdowns and have more fun. To help keep your
scooter well maintained, the maintenance schedule on the following page
will provide you valuable information that will help you keep your it in good
and safe operating condition and avoid injury.
The service intervals in this section are based on average riding conditions.
More frequent service is needed if you subject your scooter to severe use,
such as competition or riding in unusually wet or dusty conditions.
Improper maintenance of this scooter or failing to correct a
problem before you ride can cause a crash in which you could be seriously
injured or killed. Always follow the inspection and maintenance routines
recommended in this manual.
Remember, proper maintenance of your scooter is the responsibility of the
owner and failure to do so can cause your warranty to be void.
Note to parents: As a parent it is up to you to make sure the scooter is properly
maintained and in safe operating condition. For youngsters, learning how to
take care of any motorized vehicle and perform basic maintenance can be an
important part of their riding experience. However, if you allow a youngster to
perform or assist in any maintenance task, such as lling the fuel tank, you need
to provide close supervision to make sure the task is performed safely.
Make sure the engine is o before you begin any maintenance or repairs.
This will help eliminate the following hazards:
1. Carbon monoxide poisoning from engine exhaust. Be sure
you have good ventilation whenever you have the engine running.
2. Burns from hot engine parts. Let the engine and exhaust cool
before you touch them.
3. Injury from moving parts. Do not work on the engine while it is
running unless instructed by this manual to do so.
Be sure you have all the tools needed and understand the procedure before
starting. Always be careful around gasoline. Keep ames and sparks away.

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE

To keep your scooter safe and reliable when you ride, regular inspections and
service is required. Below you will nd a maintenence schedule that explains
when components need to be inspected or serviced. This information lists
items that can be performed with basic mechanical skills and hand tools. In
addition, the maintenance schedule will list items that are more involved and
could require taking it to your local Service Center.
Because your scooter is not equipped with an odometer, service intervals
are expressed in terms of riding days. We suggest that you keep a record of
the amount of time you spend riding your scooter to avoid missing needed
maintenance procedures. If you do not feel comfortable with performing any
of these maintenance procedures, please contact Motovox for help by calling

helpful step by step maintenance videos to demonstrate tasks listed below.
Note: Your scooter may require more frequent service if you ride in particularly
wet or dusty conditions.

Your MVs10 scooter is shipped with the handlebars NOT
clamped on. To attach the handlebars follow these easy steps:
1. After unpacking your scooter, stand it on the kick stand on a level surface.
2. Position the handlebar clamp (show at right)
over the steering tube and straighten .
3. Standing over the scooter, Check for alignment
with the front tire.
4. Firmly tighten both bolts (one on each side)
on the handlebar clamp using the allen
wrench that is provided in your tool kit.

A dirty, clogged air lter will inhibit the performance of your MVs10 scooter
so it is important and quite easy to check and clean it periodically. Motovox
recommends that the air lter gets checked every month and cleaned at
least every three months. More frequent cleaning may be required if you
tend to ride in extremely dusty or dirty conditions.
To check and clean the lter it must
be removed from the engine. To do
so, locate the air lter housing which
is the square black plastic unit on the
front of the engine, just ahead of the
pulls starter unit and in front of the
choke lever.
Remove the center screw that holds
the air lter cover in place and pull
the cover from the engine. Pull out
the foam lter element with your
ngers and inspect for dirt and debris.
You can clean the foam element with
forced air, being careful not to tear it.
Or you can wash it with soap and
water. Be sure to dry it thoroughly
before replacing it by squeezing all
the water out and letting it air dry
completely.
Once the air lter is completely dry,
you can reinstall it into the housing
and tighten the center screw that
holds the housing in place.
A corroded spark plug can cause your engine to run rough, or in the case of a
fowled plug, can cause your engine to not run at all. To check the spark plug
it must be removed from the engine. The following steps will demonstrate
this procedure.
Locate the spark plug boot on the
top of the engine toward the front
on the left side. Carefully remove the
spark plug boot by pulling and twisting
the boot housing. Do not pull on the
spark plug wire.
Once you have the top of the plug
exposed, use a 19mm deep socket to
unscrew the spark plug out of the
engine by turning counter-clockwise.
Inspect the plug and check to make
sure the gap is set to .030. Using the
chart below, determine if the spark
plug should be replaced.
To re-insert the spark plug or to install
a new one, simply screw the plug back
into the hole turning clockwise. Tighten
with the socket rmly.
Be very careful not to
over-tighten and strip the threads.

ADJUSTING THE IDLE SPEED
The idle speed is the RPMs of the engine when it is at idle, or not being
accelerated. If the idle speed is too low the engine is running to slowly and
can die when you are stopped. If the idle speed is too high the scooter won’t
stay still when idling and may try to move forward.
To adjust the idle speed, locate the
idle speed set screw that is behind
the air lter housing on top of the
carburetor. Using a at or phillips
screwdriver and with the engine
running, turn the screw in (clockwise)
to raise the idle speed and out
(counter-clockwise) to lower the idle
speed.
Be sure to have a friend hold the scooter brakes while you adjust
the idle speed so it doesn’t move forward unexpectedly.
The fuel tank on the MVs10 must be kept clean to keep the engine running
smoothly and eciently. Over time, sediment can build up in the tank and
get caught in the inner workings of the carburetor causing clogs and poor
performance. To help avoid contamination and sediment build-up be sure
to always wipe o the area around the fuel cap before you open it, as well as
the spout of your fuel container
before pouring in fuel.
Locate and remove the two tank
mounting bolts behind the fuel tank.
Leaving the hoses connected, remove
the cap and pour out the contents.
Add some clean fuel, replace the cap
and swish it around a little. Then
remove the cap and pour it out.
Replace the tank to its mount and
re-ll the tank with clean, mixed fuel.
The drive chain needs periodic maintenance to protect it from premature
wear and from coming o while riding if it becomes too loose. The drive
chain should have a little bit of slack in it, approximately 1/4”movement in
either direction or about 1/2” total movement.
With the engine o, locate the drive
chain behind the chain guard on the
right side of the scooter. Press on it
from the top to see how much slack
is in the chain. If it has more than
1/2”of movement then your chain is
probably too loose.
To adjust the tension of the chain,
loosen the rear axle nut on both sides
of the wheel. Then, using a 10mm
open end wrench, screw the adjuster
nut in (clockwise) a few turns. Be sure
to adjust the same amount on both
adjuster nuts to keep the rear wheel
straight. Check the tension on the
chain again and repeat as necessary
until the chain feels right, then tighten
the axle nuts on both sides to hold it
in place.
To lubricate the chain, raise the rear
of the scooter up onto a block or
platform so that the rear wheel spins
freely. Then using one hand, spin the
rear wheel while spraying lube onto
the drive chain. Any standard lube
will work, but do not use a lube with
a degreaser in it, like WD40 because
it tends to dissolve the lube that is
inside the rollers, shortening the life
of your drive chain.

Your Motovox MVs10 Stand-up Scooter comes
equipped with mechanical disc brakes front
and rear for sure stops. It is important to be sure
that the brakes are working properly before
each ride. Checking their functionality is simple
and only takes a few seconds.
Before starting the engine, squeeze rst one
brake handle then the other while trying to roll
the scooter forward. The brake lever should
feel rm and should not touch the handlegrip before the brake engages. If
the brake lever squeezes too far and feels soft, it is probably time to adjust
your brakes.
With the engine o, locate the adjuster barrel on the brake lever for the
brake that needs adjusting. To tighten the brakes, screw the barrel adjust out,
or counter clockwise so it is moving away from the lever. This lengthens the
cable housing and makes the brakes activate quicker when pulled.
Make sure when you check the brakes after adjusting that you don’t over
tighten them and cause them to drag when not applied.
Once you have the brakes adjusted the way you want them, tighten down
the stop nut on the barrel adjuster, turning it clockwise or toward the brake
handle. Turn the stop nut as tight as you can with your ngers. Do not use
tools to tighten the stop nut.
If you can’t get enough adjustment on the barrel adjuster, you may have to
make an adjustment at the caliper end, or at the wheels. To do so, locate the
retainer nut at the end of the actuator arm
on the brake. Loosen it a few turns so that
the brake cable will slide through the retainer
bolt and rotate the arm slightly forward to
add more braking power, then tighten the
retainer nut back down. Repeat as needed
until the brake is working smoothly and rmly
without dragging.
Your Motovox MVs10 Stand-up Scooter utilizes
a thumb throttle mechanism for ease of use and
safe operation. The thumb throttle mechanism
is a low-maintenance unit, however it is
important to be sure that it is working properly
before riding. The thumb throttle should return
to idle position after accelerating when you let
o of it. Before you start your scooter it is always
important to check and make sure that it works
freely and returns to idle position. If it sticks when depressed,
it could lead to a very dangerous situation where you or those around you
could be injured or killed.
A tire blowout can lead to a dangerous situation, not to mention being very
inconvenient. It is important to inspect your tires before you ride.
• Inspect both tires for bumps and bulges in the sidewall and tread.
• Look closely for cuts or other damage.
• Inspect both tires for embedded objects like glass, nails or sharp rockes that
you may have picked up.
• Inspect the tread depth of your tires and replace them if the depth drops
below a tenth of an inch, or if you notice a serious reduction in traction.
• Check for the position of the valve stem. A tilted valve stem can mean that
the tube is slipping inside the tire and can cause a blowout.
• Be sure that both tires are inated to 25-28 PSI. If you use a high-powered
air hose, like those found at a gas station or tire shop, inate carefully as the
small tires on the MVs10 scooter will inate very quickly and could explode
if they are severely over inated.

YOUR WARRANTY RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS
The manufacturer warrants that each new 2010 and later vehicle:
• is designed, built and equipped so as to conform at the time of initial retail purchase with all applicable
regulations of the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
• is free from defects in material and workmanship which cause such vehicle to fail to conrm with applicable
regulations of the United States Environmental Protection Agency or the California Air Resources Board for
the periods specied below.
The emission control system warranty period for this vehicle is 30 months, which applies to the owner and each
subsequent purchaser, begins on the date the vehicle is delivered to the rst purchaser provided there has been no
modication, abuse, neglect or improper maintenance of your vehicle. Where a warrantable condition exists, the
manufacturer will repair your vehicle at no cost to you, including diagnosis, parts and labor. This is your emission
control defects warrantly.
EMISSION CONTROL WARRANTY INFORMATION
Your emission control system warranty covers components whose failure would increase an engine’s emission, includ-
ing electronic controls, carburetor, the ignition system, or any other system utilized in this vehicle to control emission
if it is originally equipped. Also included may be hoses, connectors and other emission-related assemblies. Replacing
or repairing other components (including parts, labor, and other costs) not covered by this emission control system
warranty or the standard warranty is the responsibility of the owner.
Coverage of repairs under this emissions warranty applies when repairs are completed at a dealer repair facility
or person of thge owner’s choosing for the maintenance, replacement or repair of emissions-related devices. The
Distributor will not cover repairs performed outside of an authorized dealer or repair facility. The use of replacement
parts not equivalent to the original parts may impair the eectiveness of your vehicle’s emission control system. If such
a replacement part is used and an authorized dealer determines it is defective or causes a failure of a warranted part,
your claim for repair to bring your vehicle into compliance with applicable standards may be denied.
MODIFICATION OF ANY EMISSION CONTROL COMPONENT OR SETTING IS STRICTLY
PROHIBITED BY LAW AND CAN RESULT IN SUBSTANTIAL PENALTIES AND FINES.
THIS EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM WARRANTY IS IN ADDITION TO THE
STANDARD PRODUCT WARRANTY.

workmanship under normal use, and the rst required replacement interval for the item has not been reached.
Expendable maintenance items include but are not limited to spark plugs, lters and lubricants.
• Replacement of parts and other services and adjustments for required maintenance.
• Repairs or replacements as a result of
- Accident
- Misuse
- Use of replacement parts or accessories not conforming to the original specications which
adversely aect performance
- Physical damage, corrosion, or defects caused by re, explosions or similar causes beyond the
control of the Distributor.
- Failures not caused by a defect in material or workmanship.
• Use of this vehicle in any type of competitive racing, rental or any commercial use completely voids this and
all other warranties.
LIMITED LIABILITY
The liability of the manufacturer under this Emission Control SystemWarranty is limited solely to the remedying of
defects in material workmanship by an authorized dealer at its place of business during customary business hours.
This warranty does not cover inconvenience or loss of use of the vehicle or transportation of the vehicle to/from the
authorized dealer. The Distributor is not liable to any person for incidental, consequential or special damages of any
description, whether arising out of express or implied warranty or any other contract, negligence or other tort or
otherwise.
No express emission control system warranty is given by the manufacturer except as specically set forth therein.
Any emission control system warranty implied by law, including any warranty of merchantability or tness for a
particular purpose is limited to the express emission control system warranty terms stated in this warranty.
The foregoing statements of warranty are exclusive and in lieu of all other remedies. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations may not apply if it is inconsistent
with the controlling state law.
