Veuillez suivre scrupuleusement les instructions suivantes :
- Débranchez l'appareil après chaque utilisation.
- Ne mettez pas le bloc-moteur sous le robinet ou au lave-
vaisselle, mais netttoyez-le avec une éponge humide.
Attention:leslamesducouteausonttrèsaiguisées.Manipu-
lez-les avec précaution.
Important :
- Ne pas utiliser àvide.
- Pour obtenir un hachis fin et régulier, décollez les aliments
avec une spatule et répartissez-les dans le bol.
- Un couteau neuf = un combinéneuf
-Laisserrefroidirl'appareil2minutesaprèschaqueutilisation.
Montage et mise en service
- Dans le bol (C), emboîtez le couteau (D) sur l'axe du bol (E),
et versez-y les ingrédients àhacher.
- Placez le couvercle (B) dans le bol (C) en le tournant pour
l'emboîter et appuyez jusqu'au clic de verrouillage. Posez
votre bloc moteur (A) sur l'ensemble bol/couvercle en le
tournant légèrement pour faire pénétrer l'axe du couteau
dans l'axe du bloc moteur. Branchez l'appareil. Appuyez sur
le sommet du bloc moteur (A) ce qui permet la mise en
marche de votre mini-hachoir.
- Débranchez l'appareil et attendez l'arrêt du couteau.
- Enlevezle bloc-moteur(A), lecouvercle (B) enpressant sur
les 2 languettes (B1) et le couteau (D).
. Couvercle saupoudreur
Après le hachage, vous pouvez saupoudrer directement vos
ingrédients dans l'assiette.
Pourcela,remplacezlecouvercle(B)parlecouverclesaupou-
dreur (F). Vous pouvez maintenant doser et répartir vos
aliments :
.petitstrous:biscottes-noisettes-sucre-sel-poivre.
. gros trous : persil - jaunes d'oeuf - ail - jambon.

Comment réussir d'excellentes mayonnaises ?
Ingrédients : 1 jaune d'oeuf - 1 cuillère àcafé(bien pleine) de
moutarde-1cuillèreàsouped'eau-1cuillèreàcafédevinaigre
- 100 ml d'huile - sel- poivre.
- Mettre les ingrédients dans le bol et seulement 1 cuillère à
soupe d'huile.
- Faire un pré-mélange en faisant fonctionner 20 secondes.
- Rajouter l'huile restante et faire fonctionner 40 secondes.
Il est important que tous les ingrédients soient àla même
température.
Rangement
Après utilisation, vous pouvez ranger votre mini-hachoir en
enroulant le cordon d'alimentation (G) autour du bloc moteur
et en le maintenant en place par la ventouse (H) prévue àcet
effet.
Entretien
Vouspouvezvousprocurerlespiècesdétachéesainsiqueles
accessoires auprès de votre revendeur habituel ou du centre
d'entretien agréé Moulinex le plus proche de votre domicile
(voir liste jointe dans Moulinex Service).
Important : Si le câble d'alimentation de cet appareil est
endommagé, il ne doit être remplacéque par un centre
d'entretien agréé Moulinex car des outils spéciaux sont
nécessaires.

Before using your appliance for
the first time
Check that the voltage on the appliance’s rating plate corres-
ponds to the voltage marked on your mains supply meter.
WIRING INSTRUCTIONS (UK and EIRE only)
Appliance with fitted plug.
Important: for your convenience, this appliance is fitted with
a complete plug incorporating a 3 amp fuse.
In the event of replacing a fuse in the plug supplied, a 3 amp
fuse apporved by ASTA to B1362 must be used.
If the socket outlets in your home are not of the 13 A, BS1363
type, and therefore do not accept the plug connected to this
appliance, then cut off the plug.
Whencutoff,thisplugisashockhazardifinsertedintoasocket
outlet. It must therefore be disposed of safely.
Fit the appropriate plug as instructed below. With alternative
plugs, a 5 amp fuse must be fitted either in the plug or adaptor
or at the main fuse box.
Appliance without a fitted plug.
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with
the following code:
blue : neutral brown : live
If the colours do not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, please proceed as
follows.Thewirewhich iscolouredBluemustbe connectedto
the terminal with the letter “N”or coloured black. The wire
which is coloured Brown must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter “L”or coloured red. If a 13 amp
(BS1363) plug is used, a 3 amp fuse must be fitted, or if any
othertype of plugis used,a 5amp fusemust be fittedeither in
the plug or adaptor or at the distribution board.
This appliance is manufactured to conform to Low Voltage
ElectricalEquipment(Safety)Regulations1989andisdesigned
to comply with BS3456. It complies with the requirements of
the EEC Directive 89/336/EEC.
Any error in connecting the appliance invalidates the
guarantee.
NeitherwiremustbeconnectedtotheEarth terminal ofa3pin
plug.

If the mains lead is damaged, it should be replaced by a
MoulinexapprovedServiceAgent,asspecialtoolsarerequired.
Safety advice
Please follow the instructions below carefully as a security
measure when using the Illico mini chopper:
- unplug the appliance after each use,
-donotcleanthemotorunitunderrunningwaternorwash
it in a dishwasher; clean it with a damp cloth,
Warning : handle the blade with care: it is very sharp,
Important:
- do not use the appliance when it is empty,
-in order toobtain smooth andfinelychopped meat,distribute
the meat evenly in the bowl with a spatula,
- the blade may need replacing after heavy long term use: a
newbladewillgiveyoufirstclassresultsfromyourappliance,
-allowtheapplaincetocooldownfor2minutesaftereachuse.
Using your Illico Mini Chopper
- inside the bowl (C), place the blade (D) on the blade support
(E) and the ingredients to be chopped,
-placethelid(B)inthebowl(C)andturntolock(untilyouhear
it click into place),
- place the motor unit on the lid-bowl assembly by twisting it
slightly, so that the blade axis fits into the motor unit axis,
- plug in your appliance,
-pressdownonthemotorunit(A),andthemini-chopperstarts
up immediately,
-unplugtheappliance,andwaitforthebladetostopcompletely
-removethemotorunit(A),thelid(B),bypressingdownonthe
two tabs (B1) and the blade (D)
. Shaker lid:
Afterchopping,youcansprinkleyouringredientsdirectlyonto
a plate; you simply have to replace the lid (B) with the shaker
lid (F). You can now sprinkle according to the ingredients:
. small holes: biscuits, hazelnuts, sugar, salt, pepper,
. big holes: parsley, garlic, ham, yolk,

How to make a success of your mayonnaise ?
Ingredients: 1 yolk, 1 teaspoonful of mustard, 1 tablespoonful
ofwater,1 tablespoonfulofvinegar,100 mlofoil,salt, pepper.
- put the ingredients into the bowl and add 1 tablespoonful of
the oil,
- premix the ingredients in your mini chopper for 20 secs,
- add the remaining oil and operate for 40 secs.
It is important that all the ingredients are at the same
temperature.
Storage
After use, you can store your mini chopper by wrapping the
cord around the motor unit (G) and attaching the sucker (H).
