12. A heater has hot and arcing or
sparking parts inside. DO NOT use
in areas where gasoline, paint,
explosive and/or flammable liquids
are used or stored. Keep unit away
from heated surfaces and open
flames.
13. Always plug heaters directly into a
wall outlet/receptacle. Never use
with an extension cord or relocat-
able power tap (outlet/power strip).
14. To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug
the unit directly into a 120 V AC

15. To disconnect heater, turn controls
to OFF, then remove plug from out-
let. Pull firmly on the plug, DO NOT
unplug by pulling on the cord.
16. Always unplug the unit before mov-
ing or cleaning, or whenever the
heater is not in use.
17. Use only for intended household
use as described in this manual.
Any other use not recommended
by the manufacturer may cause fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
The use of attachments not recom-
mended or sold by unauthorized
dealers may cause hazards.
18. Always use on a dry, level surface.

Symptoms of hyperthermia include
high body temperature, headache,
nausea, vomiting, tiredness, dizzi-
ness, fainting, and rapid pulse. If
you begin to experience symptoms
related to hyperthermia, turn off
the heater and seek medical atten-
tion.
24. To avoid excessive room tempera-
tures which can cause hyperther-
mia: DO NOT leave product running
unattended in a confined space
around infants, or individuals with
reduced physical, sensory, or men-
tal capabilities.

SAFETY FEATURES
Tip-Over Safety Feature
This heater is equipped with a shut-off
safety feature. Once the heater is tipped
over, an internal switch will automatically
shut the heater off. Once the heater
is restored to an upright position, the
heater will reset.
Overheat Safety Feature
This heater is equipped with an
overheat safety feature. When the
heater’s internal components reach a
certain temperature that could cause
overheating and possible fire, the heater
will automatically shut off.

built in to prevent overheating.

• When an “overheat” temperature
is reached, the heater will
automatically shut off. Operation
can resume only when the user
resets the unit.
• To reset the unit, unplug the heater,
ensure the power is turned off, and
wait 15 to 20 minutes for the unit
to cool down.
• Follow INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE to
return heater to operating mode.
WARNING: It is normal for the
power cord to feel warm to
the touch; however, a loose fit
between the outlet and the plug
may cause overheating of the
plug. If this occurs, try inserting
the plug into a different outlet.
Contact a qualified electrician
to inspect the original outlet for
damage.

1. Place the product on a firm, level
surface.
2. Plug the unit directly into a 120 V AC
electrical outlet.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT ELECTRIC
SHOCK, MATCH WIDE BLADE OF
PLUG TO WIDE SLOT AND FULLY

3. Rotate the POWER KNOB clockwise to
select between (fan only), (low heat) or
(high heat). LOW position operates the
heater at 1000 watts conserving energy
and HIGH position operates the heater
at a maximum 1500 watts.
4. Turn the THERMOSTAT KNOB clockwise
to the highest setting.
5. When the room reaches a comfortable
temperature, slowly turn the
THERMOSTAT KNOB counter-clockwise
until the heating element clicks OFF
(the Power Light will not be shut OFF).
6. This is the point at which the
Thermostat setting equals the room
temperature. At this setting, the
Thermostat will automatically turn the
heater ON and OFF to maintain the
selected temperature.

7. Turn the POWER KNOB to OFF and
unplug the heater when finished using.

NOTICE: When the heat function is used for
the first time, a slight order may be present.
This is normal and should not occur again
unless the heater is not used for an extended
period of time.
NOTICE: It is normal for the heater to cycle
ON and OFF as it maintains the preset
temperature. To prevent the unit from cycling,
you need to change the thermostat setting.
MAINTENANCE
1. Turn the POWER OFF.
2. Unplug the unit and let it cool
completely.
3. To keep the heater clean, the outer
shell may be cleaned with a soft,
damp cloth. A mild detergent can be
used if necessary.
4. After cleaning, dry the unit with a
soft cloth.
5. Wait until the unit is completely dry
before use.
WARNING:
• DO NOT let liquid enter the
heater.
• DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline,
abrasive powders, furniture
polish, or rough brushes to
clean the heater. This may cause
damage or deterioration to the
surface of the heater.
• DO NOT immerse the heater in
water.
STORAGE
Store the heater in a cool, dry location
when not in use. To prevent dust and
dirt build-up, use the original packaging
to repack the unit.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the heater will not operate, please
check the following:
1. Check if the power cord is plugged
into an electrical outlet. If not, plug
in unit to appropriate outlet.
2. Check if electricity to the outlet is
working.
3. Ensure power is turned to ON
position.
4. Make sure heater is placed on a
flat solid surface.
5. See SAFETY FEATURES section for
additional information.
6. Turn the THERMOSTAT KNOB
clockwise. The heater only works
when the set temperature is higher
than room temperature.
NOTICE: The product is equipped with an
overheat safety feature protector which will
switch off the heater in case of accidental
over heating (ex. Obstruction of air intake
and outlet grills, motor turning slowly or not
at all).
NOTICE: It is normal for the heater to cycle
ON and OFF as it maintains the preset
temperature. To prevent the unit from
cycling, you need to change the thermostat
setting.

MANTENIMIENTO
1. Apague la alimentación.
2. Desenchufe la unidad y deje que se
enfríe completamente.
3. Para mantener el calefactor limpio,
puede limpiar el exterior con un
trapo suave húmedo. Puede usar un
detergente liviano si es necesario.
4. Después de limpiarla, seque la
unidad con un paño suave.
5. Espere hasta que la unidad esté
completamente seca antes de
usarla.
ADVERTENCIA:
• NO permita que entre líquido en
el calefactor.
• NO use alcohol, gasolina, polvos
abrasivos, cera para muebles o
cepillos ásperos para limpiar el
calefactor. Esto puede causar
daño o deteriorar la superficie
del calentador.
• NO sumerja el calefactor en
agua.
ALMACENAMIENTO
Guarde el calefactor en un lugar fresco y
seco cuando no esté en uso. Para evitar
la acumulación de polvo y suciedad,
utilice el embalaje original para volver a
embalar la unidad.
4. Gire la PERILLA DEL TERMOSTATO en el
sentido de las agujas del reloj hasta el
máximo.
5. Cuando la habitación haya alcanzado
una temperatura agradable,
gire lentamente la PERILLA DEL
TERMOSTATO en sentido contrario a las
agujas del reloj hasta que el elemento
calefactorsehayaAPAGADO(laluzde
encendidonoseapagará).
6. Este es el punto en el que el ajuste del
termostato será igual a la temperatura
ambiente. En esa configuración, el
termostato encenderá y apagará
automáticamente el calefactor para
mantener la temperatura seleccionada.
7. Gire la PERILLA DE ENCENDIDO hasta
APAGADO y desenchufe el calefactor
cuando termine de usarlo.

AVISO: Cuando se utiliza la función de calor
por primera vez, puede haber un poco de
olor. Esto es normal y no debería volver a
ocurrir a menos que el calefactor no se use
durante un período prolongado.

RESOLUCIÓN DE
PROBLEMAS
Si el calefactor no funciona, verifique lo
siguiente:
1. Verifique que el cable de
alimentación esté enchufado en un
tomacorriente. Si no es así, enchufe
la unidad en un tomacorriente
apropiado.
2. Verifique si el tomacorriente está
funcionando correctamente.
3. Verifique que unidad esté
ENCENDIDA.
4. Asegúrese de que el calefactor esté
colocado sobre una superficie sólida
y plana.
5. Consulte la sección
CARACTERÍSTICASDESEGURIDAD
por mayor información.
6. Gire la perilla del termostato en el
sentido de las agujas del reloj. El
calefactor solo funciona cuando la
temperatura establecida es más alta
que la temperatura ambiente.

en caso de sobrecalentamiento accidental

Cet appareil est doté d’une
caractéristique de sécurité contre la
surchauffe. Lorsque les composantes
intérieures de l’appareil atteignent une
certaine température pouvant causer
une surchauffe ou, possiblement,
un incendie, l’appareil s’éteint
automatiquement.
• Un détecteur de charge thermique
est intégré pour prévenir la
surchauffe.
• Lorsqu’une température de «
surchauffe » est atteinte, l’appareil
s’éteint automatiquement.
Le fonctionnement ne peut
reprendreque si l’utilisateur
réinitialise l’appareil.
• Pour réinitialiser l’appareil,
débranchez-le, assurez-vous qu’il est
bien éteint, et attendez de 15 à 30
minutes pour qu’il refroidisse.
• Suivez le MODE D’EMPLOI pour
remettre l’appareil et état de
fonctionnement.
AVERTISSEMENT: Il est normal

soit chaud au toucher. Toutefois,
