Warranty
1) The warranty peri d f the main b dy f the pr duct is 3 years (basic c ntract) after the day f
purchase while designated equipment 1 year. Only if failure r damage is caused by
inadequacies f design r manufacture f the equipment supplied by us during the warranty
peri d alth ugh it is used n rmally, we will repair r replace the relevant part(s).
2) The wear parts (extensi n st pper rubber, rubber pads, etc.) supplied with ALLUX
TM
are n t
c vered by the warranty.
3) The warranty c vers nly defective items. We will n t c mpensate f r vari us expenses
caused by the pr duct failure r ther damages.

Repair pr cedures
1) If the knee j int must be inspected r repaired after the warranty peri d has expired, the
warranty peri d nly f r the repaired part will be extended f r 1 year.
2) If the cause f defect is unclear, the measures will be determined thr ugh c nsultati n
between the cust mer and ur c mpany.
Peri dic inspecti n and maintenance
1) The pr duct shall underg peri dic inspecti n nce a year. The wear parts will be replaced
with new nes, and the pr duct will be maintained.

1) Repair f external painting will be perf rmed at the user’s expense. Ask us f r estimati n.

2 Product Overview
2.1 Introduction of ALLUX
TM
ALLUX
TM
is a knee j int with a f ur-Bar linkage mechanism t electr nically c ntr l the stance
and swing phases.
It realizes sm th walking acc rding t the walking speed andenables yielding required f r
descending a sl pe r stairs.
It has a safety l ck f r st pping the knee flexi n halfway and a stumbling l ck f r preventing
unexpected knee bucking caused by catching the t e.
The capacity f the fully charged battery lasts ab ut 2 days with the internal p wer supply
when the number f steps taken by the pr sthesis is 3000/day.
2.2 Basic structure

has a pyramid adapter at the b tt m and either a pyramid r screw head adapter at

The frame is made f carb n, and the link parts are made f an aluminum all y.

5 Functions
5.1 Modes of ALLUX
TM
ALLUX has charging m de, backup battery c nnecting m de, high-temperature m de, battery
run ut m de and m des c nfigured by s ftware that can selected by the rem te c ntr ller,.
When the m de is changed , the vibrati n will n tice the user ab ut the m de change.
The internal p wer supply f ALLUX
TM
was designed t last f r 2 days when the number f
steps taken by the pr sthesis is 3000/day. When the remaining battery time is less than 30
minutes, an alert will be given by vibrati n. If the backup battery is c nnected at this time,
ALLUX
TM
can be used further f r ab ut ne day. The backup battery is used t supplement the
internal p wer supply. It cann t charge the internal battery.
t is rec mmended t charge ALLUX
TM
every day depending n the am unt f activity f the user.

The internal p wer supply has three m des: n rmal m de with remaining battery life f 30 min
r m re, m de with remaining life f less than 30 min and m de in which ALLUX

used with ut charging. If the internal p wer supply is exhausted t such an extent that ALLUX
TM
cann t be used with ut charging, the user cann t walk even if the backup battery is c nnected.

is used in a low-temperature environment, the flexion and extension
resistances may increase. Chec the resistances prior to use.

is used at a high temperature, the flexion and extension resistances
decrease. Use it carefully when wal ing on stairs or a slope.

5.2 Normal usage condition
5.2.1 In normal state
When the charger (NE-BC01) r the p wer OFF c nnect r (NE-CC02) is disc nnected,

 When the battery has a capacity f r walking f r 30 min r m re: vibrati n will activate
every 0.25-sec f r 8 times.
 When the battery has a capacity f r waking f r less than 30 min: vibrati n will activate
every 0.5-sec f r 8 times.
 When the battery has been exhausted and the user cann t walk: vibrati n will activate
every 0.5-sec f r 3times and repeat the cycle f r 1 min.

The s cket and backup battery may get int c ntact at the maximum
flexi n angle, and the backup battery may be damaged.
* If the cable is disconnected or the battery is damaged during
walking, the user cannot walk normally and may tumble.
