INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Assembly and Instructions
The parts needed to assemble the
manikin are:
(1) manikin torso, (1) manikin head
(1) airway sample, (2) pine tree push
pins, (2) washers and (2) hairpin
clips. (1) Rubberband
STEPS:
1. Insert the pin into the ear and
through the neck, and then add the
washer and connecting pin on the
inside of the manikin's head.
2. Insert the pine tree push pins (2)
into the back of the manikin.
(See Figure 1)

3. Place the rubber band over the
pine tree push pins.
4. Fold the closed end of the airway
lengthwise four times to simplify
pushing the airway through the
manikin's mouth. Tilt the head back
and insert the closed end of the
airway into and through the back
of the tube inside the manikin's
mouth.

5. Pull the closed end of the airway
down the back of the manikin, leav-
ing approximately 2 inches remain-
ing outside of the manikin's mouth
to use as a face shield.
6. Flatten the closed end of the air-
way against the manikin's back and
secure it under the rubber band.

7. Spread the open end of the air-
way over the manikin's nose and
chin. Finger sweep to open the bag
to ensure there are no twists and
that the airway is open. When the
individual completes airway infla-
tion, have them remove the bag so
the next student can install their
airway. The airway can be retained

by individual for use during training
sesson, but it is necessary to discard
the airway at the end of the ses-
sion. (See Figure 4)

GENERAL INSTRUCTONS
FOR USE
To ventilate the manikin use rescue
breathing or a bag valve mask. An
open airway and adequate ventila-
tions will expand the airway, lifting
the manikin up off the floor. To
eliminate cross contamination the
airway is designed for a single user.
Airways are to be disposed of at the
end of the training session. Reduce
adhesive build up from hands free
pads by applying a thin coat of
automotive wax to chest locations.
CLEANING AND
MAINTAINING ECONOMY
SANI CPR MANIKIN
Remove used airway and dispose.
Clean manikin with warm soapy
water. Dry the manikin before stor-
ing. Do not immerse in fluids. Store
in a dry location to avoid absorbing
moisture.
WARRANTY
Nasco Healthcare warrants this
product to be free from defects in
materials and/or workmanship for
a period of three years from the
date of purchase, as evidenced
by the date on the invoice of the
product shipment to the end
user. The warranty expressly does
not cover abuse, accidental or
purposeful damage, or any form
of modification to the product.
Nasco Healthcare reserves the
right to either replace affected
parts or the entire unit, at their
sole discretion, after investigating
and reviewing the actual product
and the damage. In most
instances, a digital photo of the
product in question showing
the damage will help qualify a
product for return to the factory.
At no time will any product be
accepted at the factory without
proper return authorization
issued by Nasco Healthcare.
