3 Intended use
The device is used for automatic monitoring of the state of charge of a house battery, to prevent deep discharge. The
device is primarily used in (but not limited to) caravans and motor homes.
The device disconnects the battery automatically if the voltage drops down under the minimum voltage limit of 11 V.
The battery can also be manually disconnected with an on/off button.

The device is not intended to be used as starting battery switch, but only for house batteries where the maximum cur-
rents (charge and discharge) are below the value of 100 A (continuous).
This product is only suitable for the intended purpose and application in accordance with these instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary for proper installation and/or operation of the product. Poor in-
stallation and/or improper operating or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory performance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury or damage to the product resulting from:

4 Safety instructions
WARNING! Electrocution hazard, Fire hazard
• Installation, assembly, and wiring as well as all other work may only be performed by qualified electri-
cal specialists. Inadequate repairs may cause serious hazards.
• Installation in potentially explosive areas such as rooms with inflammable liquids or gases is not per-
mitted.
• Do not install or keep the device near flames or other heat sources (heating, direct sunlight, gas ovens
etc.).
• Install and keep the device well out of the reach of children.

• Check that the voltage specification on the data plate corresponds to that of the energy supply.
• Never immerse the device in water.
• Protect the device and cables against heat and moisture.
• Do not expose the device to rain.
5 Technical description
The device is available in two versions, for 12 V and for 24 V.
If, during battery use, the device detects a voltage lower than 11 V (for the 12 V model), or 22 V (for the 24 V model),
for a continuous time longer than 10 minutes, it will automatically disconnect the battery from the system. If the bat-
tery reaches the critical threshold of 10.5 V (for the 12 V model), or 21 V (for the 24 V model), the device will immedi-
ately disconnect the battery from the system.
The button on the device is used to manually connect and disconnect the battery.

6 Installation

6.1 Choosing a location
Install the device in a clean area inside the RV where it is protected against vibrations, explosive materials, moisture,
heat, and pollution.

2. The LED indicator is lit when the battery is connected and the utilities are supplied from the battery. If the LED in-
dicator is not lit after wiring, press the on/off button for 1 second to activate the battery connection.
7 Using the device
If the battery has been disconnected because of low voltage, connect a charging source to the battery to con-
nect it again. As soon as enough state of charge has been reached in the battery, the LED indicator flashes and is
then turned on. The battery connects and supplies the loads with power.
To manually disconnect the battery, press the ON/OFF button. The LED indicator flashes and is then turned off.

8 Cleaning and maintenance
The device is maintenance-free.
Occasionally clean the product with a damp cloth.
9 Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the manufacturer's branch in your
country (see dometic.com/dealer) or your retailer.
For repair and warranty processing, please include the following documents when you send in the device:
• A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
• A reason for the claim or description of the fault
Note that self-repair or nonprofessional repair can have safety consequences and might void the warranty.
10 Disposal
Recycling products with non-replaceable batteries, rechargeable batteries or light sources:
• If the product contains any non-replaceable batteries, rechargeable batteries or light sources, you
don't have to remove them before disposal.
• If you wish to finally dispose of the product, ask your local recycling center or specialist dealer for de-
tails about how to do this in accordance with the applicable disposal regulations.
• The product can be disposed free of charge.
Recycling packaging material: Place the packaging material in the appropriate recycling waste bins wher-
ever possible.

3 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das Gerät dient zur Überwachung des Ladezustands einer Bordbatterie zur Vermeidung von Tiefentladung und wird
primär (unter anderem) in Wohnwagen und Wohnmobilen eingesetzt.

Das Gerät trennt die Batterie automatisch, wenn die Spannung unter die Mindestspannungsgrenze von 11 V abfällt.
Die Batterie kann auch manuell mit einer Ein-/Aus-Taste getrennt werden.
Das Gerät ist nicht zur Verwendung als Starterbatterieschalter vorgesehen, sondern nur für Bordbatterien, bei denen
die maximalen Lade- und Entladeströme unter dem Wert von 100 A (Dauerleistung) liegen.
Dieses Produkt ist nur für den angegebenen Verwendungszweck und die Anwendung gemäß dieser Anleitung
geeignet.
Dieses Handbuch enthält Informationen, die für die ordnungsgemäße Installation und/oder den ordnungsgemäßen
Betrieb des Produkts erforderlich sind. Installationsfehler und/oder ein nicht ordnungsgemäßer Betrieb oder eine

4 Sicherheitshinweise

• Die Installation, die Montage und die Verkabelung sowie alle anderen Arbeiten dürfen nur durch eine
qualifizierte Elektrofachkraft durchgeführt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erhe-
bliche Gefahren entstehen.
• Die Installation in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen wie beispielsweise Räumen mit entzündlichen
Flüssigkeiten oder Gasen ist nicht zulässig.
• Installieren und verwahren Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen oder anderen
Wärmequellen (Heizung, direkte Sonneneinstrahlung, Gasöfen usw.).
• Installieren und verwahren Sie das Gerät außerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern.

5 Technische Beschreibung
Das Gerät ist in zwei Ausführungen erhältlich, für 12 V und für 24 V.
Wenn das Gerät während der Verwendung der Batterie eine Spannung von weniger als 11 V (beim 12 V-Modell)
oder 22 V (beim 24 V-Modell) über einen längeren Zeitraum als 10Minuten erkennt, trennt es die Batterie automa-

tisch vom System. Wenn die Batterie den kritischen Schwellenwert von 10,5 V (beim 12 V-Modell) oder 21 V (beim
24 V-Modell) erreicht, trennt das Gerät die Batterie sofort vom System.
Die Taste am Gerät dient zum manuellen Verbinden und Trennen der Batterie.

6.1 Standort auswählen
Installieren Sie das Gerät in einem sauberen Bereich im Wohnmobil, an dem es vor Vibrationen, explosiven Materi-
alien, Feuchtigkeit, Hitze und Verschmutzung geschützt ist.

1. Schließen Sie das Gerät gemäß dem Schaltplan an.
Hinweis Der Schaltplan zeigt ein Beispiel. Es müssen nicht alle diese elektrischen Geräte
angeschlossen werden, damit das Gerät funktioniert.
2. Die LED-Anzeige leuchtet, wenn die Batterie angeschlossen ist und die Versorgung über die Batterie erfolgt.
Wenn die LED-Anzeige nach der Verkabelung nicht leuchtet, drücken Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste 1Sekunde lang, um
den Batterieanschluss zu aktivieren.
7 Verwendung des Geräts
Wenn die Batterie aufgrund niedriger Spannung getrennt wurde, schließen Sie eine Ladequelle an die Batterie
an, um sie wieder zu verbinden. Sobald ein ausreichender Ladezustand in der Batterie erreicht wurde, blinkt die
LED-Anzeige und wird dann eingeschaltet. Die Batterie verbindet sich und versorgt die Lasten mit Leistung.
Um die Batterie manuell zu trennen, drücken Sie die ON/OFF-Taste. Die LED-Anzeige blinkt und wird dann aus-
geschaltet. Die Batterie wird von der Versorgung der Geräte mit Leistung getrennt.

8 Reinigung und Pflege
Das Gerät ist wartungsfrei.

9 Garantie
Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Sollte das Produkt defekt sein, wenden Sie sich bitte an die Niederlas-
sung des Herstellers in Ihrem Land (siehe dometic.com/dealer) oder an Ihren Fachhändler.
Bitte senden Sie bei einem Reparatur- bzw. Gewährleistungsantrag folgende Unterlagen mit dem Produkt ein:
• eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum
• einen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung
Bitte beachten Sie, dass eigenständig oder nicht fachgerecht durchgeführte Reparaturen die Sicherheit gefährden
und zum Erlöschen der Garantie führen können.

10 Entsorgung
Recycling von Produkten mit nicht auswechselbaren Batterien, wiederaufladbaren Batterien oder Leucht-
mitteln:
• Wenn das Produkt nicht auswechselbare Batterien, wiederaufladbare Batterien oder Leuchtmittel en-
thält, brauchen Sie diese vor der Entsorgung nicht zu entfernen.
• Wenn Sie das Gerät endgültig entsorgen möchten, informieren Sie sich bitte bei Ihrem Wertstoffhof
vor Ort oder bei Ihrem Fachhändler, wie dies gemäß den geltenden Entsorgungsvorschrien zu tun
ist.
• Das Produkt kann kostenlos entsorgt werden.

3 Usage conforme
L’appareil permet de contrôler l’état de charge d’une batterie interne afin d’éviter les décharges profondes. Il est
principalement destiné (sans s’y limiter) à une utilisation dans les caravanes et camping-cars.

L’appareil déconnecte la batterie automatiquement si la tension chute en dessous de la limite de tension minimale
de 11 V. La batterie peut également être déconnectée manuellement via un bouton ON/OFF (Marche/Arrêt).
L’appareil n’est pas conçu pour être utilisé en tant que commutateur de batterie de démarrage, mais uniquement
pour les batteries internes dont les courants maximums (charge et décharge) sont inférieurs à 100 A (continu).

4 Consignes de sécurité

isés par des électriciens agréés. Une réparation incorrecte peut entraîner de graves dangers.

• N’installez ou ne stockez pas l’appareil à proximité de flammes ou d’autres sources de chaleur

5 Description technique
L’appareil est disponible en deux versions, pour 12 V et pour 24 V.
Si, pendant l’utilisation de la batterie, l’appareil détecte une tension inférieure à 11 V (pour le modèle 12 V), ou 22 V
(pour le modèle 24 V) pendant plus de 10minutes consécutives, il déconnecte automatiquement la batterie du sys-
tème. Si la batterie atteint le seuil critique de 10,5 V (pour le modèle 12 V), ou 21 V (pour le modèle 24 V), l’appareil
déconnecte immédiatement la batterie du système.

6 Installation

2. Le voyant LED s’allume lorsque la batterie est connectée et que les appareils sont alimentés par celle-ci. Si le voy-
ant LED ne s’allume pas après le raccordement, appuyez sur le bouton ON/OFF (Marche/Arrêt) pendant 1sec-
onde pour activer la connexion de la batterie.
7 Utilisation de l’appareil
Si la batterie a été déconnectée en raison d’une tension faible, connectez une source de charge à la batterie
pour la reconnecter. Dès que l’état de charge de la batterie est suffisant, le voyant LED clignote, puis s’allume en
continu. La batterie se connecte et alimente les charges.
Pour déconnecter manuellement la batterie, appuyez sur le bouton ON/OFF. Le voyant LED clignote, puis
s’éteint. La batterie se déconnecte et n’alimente plus les appareils.
Pour connecter manuellement la batterie, appuyez sur le bouton ON/OFF. Le voyant LED clignote, puis s’allume
en continu. La batterie se connecte et alimente les appareils.
8 Nettoyage et entretien
L’appareil ne nécessite aucun entretien.
Nettoyez de temps en temps le produit avec un chiffon humide.
9 Garantie
La période de garantie légale s’applique. Si le produit s’avérait défectueux, contactez la succursale du fabricant
située dans votre pays (voir dometic.com/dealer) ou votre revendeur.
Pour toutes réparations ou autres prestations de garantie, veuillez joindre à l’appareil les documents suivants:
• une copie de la facture avec la date d’achat
• un motif de réclamation ou une description du dysfonctionnement
Notez que toute réparation effectuée par une personne non agréée peut présenter un risque de sécurité et annuler
la garantie.
10 Mise au rebut
Recyclage des produits contenant des piles non remplaçables, des batteries ou des sources lumineuses
rechargeables:
• Si le produit contient des piles non remplaçables, des batteries ou des sources lumineuses recharge-
ables, vous n’avez pas besoin de les retirer avant de les mettre au rebut.
• Si vous souhaitez mettre le produit au rebut, contactez le centre de recyclage le plus proche ou votre
revendeur spécialisé afin d’être informé des réglementations liées au traitement des déchets.
• Le produit peut être mis au rebut gratuitement.
