この度は弊社製品をお買い上げいただき、誠にありがとうございます。
本製品の出荷時に適用されているファームウェアは、その時点での最新版が適用されています。
そのため、すでに運用されているシステム環境に増設する場合は、本製品のファームウェアを更新してからお使いいただく必要が
あります。また、システム環境に適用されている Starter Pack のバージョンによっては、本製品の最適なファームウェアが収録さ
れていないケースもございます。
本書では、運用中のシステム環境(Starter Pack のバージョン)に応じた、本製品用の最適なファームウェアの収録先を案内いた
しますので、必要に応じてファームウェアを入手/準備し、更新適用してからお使いいただくようお願いいたします。
また、ファームウェアの更新に合わせて、ドライバーについても最適なドライバーバージョンで運用いただくようお願いいたし
ます。最適なドライバーの入手先を案内していますので、システム環境に適用してください。

2Starter Pack へのファームウェア収録状況
ご利用になる本体装置環境で適用されている Starter Pack のバージョンに応じて、本製品のファームウェアを更新する必要
があります。本製品のファームウェアの Starter Pack 収録状況は下表のとおりですが、一部のケースにおいては別のバージ
ョンの Starter Pack や Web 公開のファームウェアを適用する必要があります。
表の中で「○」の表示の組合せは、「Starter Pack バージョン」欄に示されるバージョンの Starter Pack を用意して、ファー
ムウェアを適用してください。Starter Pack からの適用方法は「4 ファームウェアの適用方法」を参照してください。
一部のケースにおいては別のバージョンの Starter Pack や Web 公開のファームウェアを適用する必要がありますので、下表

4ファームウェアの適用方法
■Starter Pack から適用する場合 [オフライン適用のみ]
「Starter Pack DVD からのファームウェアアップデート手順*」 に従ってアップデートを実施します。
インベントリの手順を実行すると、環境に応じて画面上左列の表示が[選択][強制][選択済み]となっています。
パッケージの名称が下表のもの以外は[選択] (灰色)または[強制] (灰色)となるように変更してください。
下表のパッケージについては「選択」(灰色)または「強制」(灰色)となっていることがあります。その場合、クリッ
クして「選択済み」(青色)または「強制」(青色)に変更してください。
上記変更後は手順書に従って、更新作業を進めてください。
* 「Starter Pack DVD からのファームウェアアップデート手順」は Starter Pack の各バージョンのダウンロードページにリンク情報があります。

■web 公開の fwpkg ファイルを適用する場合(ケース 2，3)
①ダウンロードしたファームウェアイメージファイル(fwpkg 形式)を、管理用端末に移す。
②管理用端末から、iLO5 の WEB 管理画面にアクセスします。
WEB ブラウザを起動して、次の URL にアクセスします。
https://<iLO5 の IP アドレスまたはホスト名>
③iLO5 画面 ウィンドウ左ペインのメニューから「Firmware＆OS Software」を選択し、ウィンドウ中央の
「Firmware」タブを選択し、ウィンドウ右側の「Upload to iLO Repository」を選択する。
④【Upload to iLO Repository】が表示されます。
File Location を[Local file]、Local File 欄の[Choose File]ボタンを選択して、①で移したファイルを選択します。
その後、[Upload]ボタンを押す。
⑤【Upload to iLO Repository．．．】とポップアップ表示されるので、[OK] を選択します。
⑥ウィンドウ上部に【Firmware Upload】が表示されます。
「Uploading Firmware Image, Please wait」というメッセージが表示され、プログレスバーが進みます。
完了すると「Completed」のメッセージが表示されます。
！注意！ ：この状態ではアップデート作業は完了していません。
⑦iLO5 画面 ウィンドウ左ペインのメニューから「Firmware＆OS Software」を選択し、ウィンドウ中央の
「Installation Queue」タブを選択します。
※すでにタスク登録されている場合、先に登録されたタスクの後に登録されます。
⑧iLO5 画面 ウィンドウ左ペインのメニューから「Firmware＆OS Software」を選択し、ウィンドウ中央の「iLO
Repository」タブを選択します。アップロードしたファイルが iLO レポジトリに追加されたことを確認し、ファイ
ルバージョン欄下の[箱アイコン]をクリックします。
展開された【Install Component】画面上で「Yes, install now」をクリックします。
※手順⑦で既に登録されているタスクが存在する場合、追加したファイルが「Pending」ステータスで表示されま
す。
⑨ウィンドウ上部に【Firmware Update】が表示されます。
「Flashing Firmware Image, Please wait」というメッセージが表示され、プログレスバーが進みます。
完了すると「Completed」のメッセージが表示されます。
⑩本体装置が再起動します。
再起動後にアップデートされたことを確認いただけます。
重要
fwpkg ファイルを適用するには、iLO5 が v2.44 以降である必要があります。
(Starter Pack Version S8.10-009.01 以降)

The firmware applied to this product at the time of shipment is the latest version available at that time.
Therefore, if you wish to add this product to a system environment that is already in operation, you will need to update the firmware
of the product as necessary before using it. Also, depending on the version of Starter Pack applied to the system environment, the
optimal firmware for this product may not be included in some cases.
In this manual, we will guide you where to get the most suitable firmware for the system environment (Starter Pack version) in
operation. Please obtain and apply the firmware as necessary before using the product.
Also, the driver needs to be updated along with the firmware update. We have provided information on where to get the most suitable
drivers, so please apply them to your system environment.

4How to update the firmware
■Updating with the Starter Pack [OFFLINE mode only]
Follow the instructions in "Updating the firmware from the Starter Pack DVD*" to perform the update.
When you perform the inventory procedure, the upper left column of the screen will show [Selected], [Forced], or
[Selected], depending on your environment.
Change the name of the package so that it becomes [Selected] (gray) or [Forced] (gray), except for those in the table
below.
The packages in the table below may be [Select] (gray) or [Force] (gray). If this is the case, click on it and change it
to [Selected] (blue) or [Forced] (blue).
After applying the above changes, please follow the instructions to proceed with the update.
* "How to update firmware from Starter Pack DVD" has the link information on the download page of each version of
Starter Pack.

■Updating with the fwpkg file (case 2 and 3)
IMPORTANT：To apply the fwpkg file, iLO must be v2.44 or later. (Starter Pack Version S8.10-009.01 or later)
1. Copy the firmware image file (fwpkg format) that you downloaded to the management computer.
2. From the management computer, access the web administration screen of iLO5 on the server.
Start your web browser and access the following URL.
https://<iLO5's IP address or host name>
3. Select "Firmware & OS Software" from the menu in the left pane of the iLO5 screen window, select the "Firmware"
tab in the center of the window, and then select "Upload to iLO Repository" on the right side of the window.
4. [Upload to iLO Repository] will be displayed.
Select [Local file] for File Location, select the [Choose File] button in the Local File column, and select the file you
moved in Step.1. Then press the [Upload] button.
5. The message "Upload to iLO Repository" will pop up. Then, select [OK].
6. Firmware Upload" will appear at the top of the window.

The message "Uploading Firmware Image, Please wait" is displayed and the progress bar moves forward.
After Completion, the message "Completed" will be displayed.
Caution: This message means the upload is complete, not the update.
7. Select "Firmware & OS Software" from the menu in the left pane of the iLO5 screen window, and then select the
"Installation Queue" tab in the center of the window. If the task has already been registered, it will be registered after
the previously registered task.
8. Select "Firmware & OS Software" from the menu in the left pane of the iLO5 screen window, and then select the "iLO
Repository" tab in the center of the window.
Confirm that the uploaded file has been added to the iLO Repository, and click the [Box icon] under the File Version
column. On the expanded [Install Component] screen, click [Yes, install now].
If there is a task that has already been registered in step 7, the added file will be displayed in "Pending" status.
9. Firmware Update] will appear at the top of the window.
The message "Flashing Firmware Image, Please wait" will be displayed and the progress bar will advance.
After completion, the message "Completed" will be displayed.
10. The server will restart.
After the reboot, you will see that the firmware has been updated
