1 Preface
Read all product documentaon and product idencaon plate carefully
before installaon, use, and service of this product. Replace documentaon
immediately if lost. Nederman reserves the right, without previous noce, to
modify and improve its products including documentaon.
This product is designed to meet the requirements of relevant EC direcves. To
maintain this status, all installaon, maintenance and repair is to be done by
qualied personnel using only Nederman original spare parts and accessories.
Contact the nearest authorized distributor or Nederman for advice on
technical service and obtaining spare parts. If there are any damaged or
missing parts when the product is delivered, nofy the carrier and the local
Nederman representave immediately.
2 Safety
This document contains important informaon that is presented as either a

3 Descripon
WARNING! Risk for personal injury, re or explosion.
Do not use the N3 unit for inammable dust, toxic gases/vapours or gases/
vapours in inammable or explosive concentraons.
3.1 Intended use
N3 should only be used in closed systems with pipes/hoses for both outlet and
inlet. See chapter 4.Installaon.
The fan and lter unit N3 is designed for ltering out smoke- and dust parcles
as well as gases/vapours from solvents.

Applicaon examples:
• Smoke and dust: Soldering, grinding, polishing. For these applicaons the
N3 unit can be used for jobs with low to mediumsized intensity. The N3
unit can also be used for soldering producon jobs.
• Solvents: Gluing, lacquer-work (el.components), cleaning, painng. For
these applicaons the N3 unit can be used for temporary jobs with low
intensity.

4 Installaon

All work with the fan unit must be done with the plug disconnected.

A speed control controls the extracon capacity by adjusng the speed of the
fan (see Figure 1 - 8).
The fan is equipped with a termal contact which releases at too high
temperature. The contact reverts automacally.
