INSTALLING THE HEATING DEVICE
Warnings
All damage resulng from non-compliance with this
advice gives rise to non-applicaon of the terms of
the manufacturer’s warrantee.
- Do not use the appliance outdoors.
-Yourapplianceisintendedfordomescusageand
must not be used for other purposes.
-Iftheappliancehasfallenontheground,hasbeen
damaged or does not workproperly, do not swit-
chitonandensurethatthepowersupplytoithas
beencuto(bymeansofafuseoracircuitbrea-
ker).
-Neverdisassembletheappliance.Abadly-repaired
appliancemaypresentrisksfortheuser.
-Pleaseconsultyourlocalpointofsalesregarding
 anyproblems.
-If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be
replacedbythemanufacturer,itsaer-salesservice
department or another electrical professional in or-
dertoavoidanydangersarising.
-This heang device has been lled with a precise
quantyofspecialoil,(aproductsafetydatasheet
isavailableuponrequest).
 Should a leak occur, switch o the appliance, put
itsomewhereoutofthewaysothattheuidspill
does not spread and so that the thermal uid is
notaccidentallyswallowedbyachild,andthenim-
mediately contactyhecompany that soldyouthe
applianceorarepresentaveofthemanufacturer.
Anyoperaonrequiringtheopeningofoneofthe
plugs of the oil tank should becarried out by the
authorizedrepresentaveofthemanufacturer.
-When the heang appliance is scrapped, comply
withlegislaonandregulaonsregardingdisposal
of the oil.
- Warning: in order to avoid overheang,
don’t cover the device. If the device is cove-
red, the rise in temperature will trigger the
internal circuit breaker. Any damage caused
bythiswillinvalidatethewarranty.
-Thisappliancecanbeusedbychildrenagedfrom8
yearsandaboveandpersonswithreducedphysical
sensoryormentalcapabiliesorlackofexperience
and knowledge, if they have been given supervi-
sionorinstruconconcerninguseoftheappliance
inasafewayandunderstandthehazardsinvolved.
Childrenshallnotplaywiththeappliance.Cleaning
andusermaintenanceshallnotbemadebychild-
renwithoutsupervision.
 Childrenofless than3yearsshouldbekeptaway
unlessconnuouslysupervised.
 Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years
shallonlyswitchon/otheapplianceprovidedthat
it has been placed or installed in its intended nor-
mal operang posion and they have been given
supervisionorinstruconconcerninguseoftheap-
pliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
 Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years
shallnotplugin,regulateandcleantheappliance
or perform user maintenance.
CAUTION - Some parts of this product can
become very hot and cause burns. Parcular
aenon has to be given where children and
vulnerable people are present.

CONNECTING, WALL-MOUNTING
PROCEDURE
All electrical installaon work should be carried out
by a suitably qualied Electrician or other compe-
tent person.
-Thepowersupplyofthedevicemusthaveameans
ofdisconneconmainsupplycapableofdisconnec-
ngallpoles,havingacontactseparaonofatleast
3mminaccordancewithlocalregulaonsandinstal-
laonrules,aproteconbya30mAdierenalswit-
chandaprotecondeviceagainstoverloadsadap-
tedtothecharacteriscsoftheconnecngline.
-Beforeyourstusetheequipment,checkthatthe
voltageuseddoesindeedmatchthatlistedonthe
device.
-ThisradiatorisaclassIIdevice(meaningthatithas
doubleelectricalinsulaon).Connecontoearthis
prohibited.
- The 2 wires must be connected in an electrical
connecon box which complies with applicable
standards.
-Inaccordancewitheuropeanstandards,the use of
a plug to connect the equipment to a power socket
is forbidden.
Before connecng up the radiator to the mains
power supply, switch o mains power at the main
circuit breaker.
This electric radiator is a class II double insulated
IP24 device, therefore it can be installed in all the
roomsofahouseincludinginsafetyzones2andOut
of zone inbathrooms,butshelteredfromwaterspla-
shes.
Theheangdevicemustbeinstalledinsuchaway
thaton-oswitchesandothercontroldevicescan-
notbetouchedbyapersonlocatedin a bathtub or
in a shower cabinet(inaccordancewithI.E.E.Wiring
Regulaons(BS7671:2008).
Theradiatormustnotbelocatedimmediatelybelow
asocket-outlet.
The radiator must be installed at least 15cm from
anyobstacle(ieshelving,curtains,itemsoffurniture,
etc.).
A mean of disconnecon mains supply  capable of
disconnecngallpoles,havingacontactseparaon
ofatleast3mminaccordancewithlocalregulaons
andinstallaonrules.

System,GMS)andbringyouthecomfortofcentralheangwithoutmain-
tenance. They are delivered without any controller, with a 800mm length
powercable.

Thewallmounngbracketsaredesignedtosecure
the installaon and to limit the translaonal
movements of the device in case of impact.
At the back of the product, make sure that each
wall-mounngbracketsareinsertedbetweenthein-
termediatenswithoutalteringthem.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Heang body
The device doesn’t heat:
- Checktheposionofthecircuitbreaker/powersupplyproteconfusein
yourfuseboard.
- Checktheacveoperangmode,youcouldbein«Standbymode»orin
Automode,withanimposedstoporderbytheenergymanager.
- Switchthepowerofor5secondsatthemainssupplythenswitchbackon
again.
The room temperature is not high enough, the device is not providing
enough heat:
- Check the acve operang mode, you may be in Eco, Frost protecon,
StandbyorinAutomode,withanimposedstoporderbytheintegrated
programming or the energy manager. Acvate the permanent Comfort
mode.
-Checktheacvesengtemperatureontheremotecontrollerandincrease
it.
- Iftheproblempersists,checktheradiatorsizingcomparedwiththeroom
dimensionandinsulaon.
The device heats connuously and is hot on the surface:
-Checkthatthesengtemperatureoftheremotecontrollerhasnotbeen
modied.
- Inoperaon,itisnormalthatthedevicesurfaceishot,themaximumsur-
face temperature is limited.
- Iftheproblempersists,checktheradiatorsizingcomparedwiththeroom
dimensionandinsulaon.
Important: Failure of the internal thermal limit due to overheang caused
by the user eg covering with clothing is not covered by warranty.
Several situaons can generate a slight metallic slam.
-Thedeviceisxedonanirregularwall.
-Thedeviceisxedonanuninsulatedwall.
- The device is in a stream of cold air.
-Thedeviceisbadlyposionedinthewall-mounngbrackets.
-Heatuporsuddentemperaturechange.
No symbol appears on the display screen.
-Checktheposionofthecircuitbreaker/powersupplyproteconfusein
yourdistribuon/fuseboard.
The device doesn’t heat but the heang indicator light is on:
-Theheangindicatorlightison,thedeviceissllcold,contactyourreseller.
If the problem persists, then contact your reseller.

Clause 6 - Guarantee:
6.1. Guarantee of patent defects - Principle:
Ourproductsmustbeveriedbythecustomerupondelivery.Anyandallclaims,re-
servaonsordisputesregardingmissingitemsandpatentdefectsmustbesubmied
inthemannersetforthintheseGeneralTermsandCondions.
Intheeventofpatentdefects,thedefecvepartsshallbereplacedbyus,subjectto
vericaonoftheallegeddefects.
Weshallnotbeheldresponsibleforpatentdefectsormissingpartsofwhichthepur-
chaserwasawarebeforeenteringintothesalesagreement.
Thecustomershallhavetoprovideanyandallevidenceastotherealityofthedefects
noted(paperwork,photographs,etc.),andourcompanyreservestherightcarryout,
directlyorindirectly,anyandallchecksandvericaons,notablyonsite.
Noceofthemissingitemsorofthepatentdefectswhichwerenotedatthemeof
delivery,andthosediscoveredaeracceptanceandintakeoftheproducts,shallhave
tobeprovidedbythecustomerinwringwithintwenty-fourhoursfollowingthedate
onwhichthelaerdiscoveredthesaidmissingitemordefect.Nonoceshallbetaken
intoaccountifitisprovidedmorethaneightfulldaysfollowingdeliveryofthepro-
ducts.Oncesaidmeframehasexpired,thecustomershallnolongerbeabletoput
forwardasagroundnon-conformityoftheproductsasregardspatentdefectsormis-
singitems,orraisesaidnon-conformityinacounter-claiminitsdefenceatthemeof
legalproceedingsregardingthecolleconofmoniesowedbroughtbyourcompany.
6.2. Guarantee of hidden defects:Ourcompanyguaranteesitsproductsagainstthe
hiddendefectswhichexistedonthedateonwhichproductsaredelivered,inaccor-
dancewiththelaw,underthetermssetforthhereinaer.
Ourguaranteeonlyappliestoproductswhichhavelawfullybecomethepropertyof
thepurchaser.Itonlyappliestoproductswhichweremanufacturedinfullbyourcom-
pany.Ourguaranteecovershiddendefects.Sinceourcustomersaretradeprofessio-
nals,ahiddendefectisdenedasanunacceptablemanufacturingdefectaecnga
productwhichrendersthelaeruntfortheintendedusethereofwhichisnotliable
tobedetectedbythepurchaserbeforeitisused.“Untfortheintendedusethereof”
means that the defect prevents the piece of equipment from operang. Thus, the
designoftheproductisnotcoveredbythehiddendefectsguarantee–ourcustomers
aredeemedtohavereceivedallofthetechnicalinformaonregardingourproducts.
Wedonotguaranteeagainstmalfunconsordamageorwearandteararisingoutof
adaptaonsorngofourproductswhicharespecialorunusualorusual.Likewise,
allegaonsregardingoccasionalorvariablemalfuncons, alackofcomfort,unhap-
pinessregardingtheresultsobtained,aesthecdefects,inparcular,arenotcovered
bytheguaranteeagainsthiddendefects.A defectisnot hidden if,despitethe fact
thatthepurchaserwasnotawareofitingoodfaith,itcouldhavebeendiscoveredby
carryingoutbasicvericaons.
Ourguaranteeislimitedtothereplacementorrepairofdefecveparts.Itdoesnot
giverisetocompensaon.
6.3. Contractual guarantee:Aspeciccontractualguaranteecanbeprovidedbyour
companyforsuchequipment.Insuchcaseitshallbestrictlylimitedtothespulaons
setforthbyus.
6.4. Terms covering the applicaon of guarantees:Anyandallrequestsforcoverage
inrespectof the guaranteemust bemadeusing our Aer-SalesService ReturnRe-
questForm.Allclaimsmustbe made bytheCustomertotheSupplier’s Aer-Sales
ServiceDepartment,giventhatnodirectclaimsbythe user shall betaken intoac-
count.Theguaranteerequestshallbetakenintoaccountuponproduconofadated
pur-chase receipt.
Itistheresponsibilityofthepurchaserwhoallegesadefect,regardlessofthedefect
inqueson,toprovideproofoftheexistenceandofthenaturethereof.Anapplicaon
isforwardedbythepurchasertooursta.Likewise,anyandallguaranteerequests
shallhavetobeaccompaniedbyevidencethatitdoesnotfallunderoneofthesaid
exclusioncases.The purchasermustdohisorherutmosttoenable saiddefectsto
beociallyrecordedandremedied.Heorshemustfurther-moreabsolutelyabstain
fromreplacingthe products or have saidreplacementcarriedout by athirdparty,
failingwhichguaranteecoverageshallnotbeprovided.
The guarantee coverage is limited to merely exchanging or repairing the defecve
part. If it proves indispensable, aer examinaon by the Supplier’s Technical Sta,
replacementoftheapplianceinfullshallbecarriedoutasatemporarymeasure.Said
replacementmeasure,takenasatemporarymeasure,undernocircumstanceshow-
soeverconstutesanacknowledgmentofresponsibilityonourpart.Intheeventof
replacementofthedefecvepartoroftheapplianceasawhole,transport,removal
andngcostsareexcludedfromtheguarantee.Intheeventofimmediatereplace-
mentasatemporarymeasure,thedefecveequipmentshallhavetoreachoursta
withineencalendardaysofthereplacementthereof.Failingwhich,thereplaced
equipment shall be invoiced.
All returns shall be carried out in suitable packaging, with the equipment properly
wedged.Thecostofthereturnshallbebornebythecustomer.Noreturnsofparts
shallbeacceptedunlessapprovedbeforehandbyourAer-SalesServiceDepartment.
ThecustomershallreceiveanassessmentcarriedoutbyourAer-SalesServiceDe-
partmentintheeventthatthelaerconcludesthatthereturnwasunjused.
Theguaranteecoverage excludesanyand all compensaonin respectof damages.
Theinstallermustbeinsuredagainstanyeventualdamage.
Moreover,ourguaranteeautomacallyceasestoapplywhenourcustomerhasnot
noedusoftheallegeddefectwithinameframeofthirtyfulldaysfromthedateof
thefactscitedasjusfyingtheclaimforguaranteecoverage.
The onus is on the customer to provide evidence of the dates referred to in the claim.
6.5. Specic exclusion in respect of apparent defects:Defectsanddamagetothepro-
ductsdeliveredconsecuveuponcircumstancesrelangtocarriage,tostorageand/
ortopreservaoncondionsatthe customer’s premises,inparcularintheevent
ofanaccidentofanytypehowsoever,shallnotgiverisetoanentlementunderthe
guaranteeprovidedbyourcompany.
Theguaranteedoesnotapplytoequipmentalreadyresoldbyourpurchaser.
6.6. General exclusions in respect of the all the guarantees:Allguaranteesareinvalid
assoonasourproductshavebeenusedunderusageorperformancecircumstances
forwhichtheywerenotintendedorwhichdonotconstutenormalusage.
Theguaranteesdonotapplyifthefollowingcondionshavenotbeencompliedwith,
towhitnotably:
-Storageawayfromsourcesofhumidityandtheeectsofbadweather;
-Set-upandinstallaoninaccordancewithbestpracce;
-Ulisaonwitha230Vdomescpowersupply;
-UlisaoncompliantwiththeSupplier’sinstruconsforinstallaonanduse.
Theguarantees do not apply to anyeventualdamage which is the consequence of
overvoltageorotherfaultswhichoccurinpowersupplyanddistribuoncircuits.
Theguarantees apply to corrosiondefectsonly if theappliancesareusedin accor-
dance with the usual circumstances which apply in a single housing unit or in the
terarysector;inparculartheymustnotbe:
-Subjecttointensiveandconnuousambienthumidity(fromswimmingpools,etc.);
-Cleanedusingacidicsubstanceswhichareliabletoaecttheirproperes.
Thedevelopmentofashadeofcolourovermeisanaturalphenomenonandcannot
giverisetoaguaranteeclaim.Theguaranteesdonotcomeintoplayiftheacquirer
cannot provide evidence of full payment for supplies and/or if the installaon and
usageinstruconsprovidedbythevendorwerenotcompliedwith,andlessspeci-
callyintheeventthatthedamagecausedaroseoutoftheaconsofthepurchaser
oroftheservantsthereof,outofforcemajeurecircumstancesoroutofunforeseen
circumstances.Theguaranteesdonotapplyintheeventofadefectoriginangeither
inthecomponentssuppliedbythepurchaserandintheeventofadesignhavingbeen
requiredbythepurchaser,withoutthevendorhavingtakenpartinsaidenddesign
process,oriftheproductdidnot meetaimsdeterminedbythecustomerofwhich
thevendorwasnotnoed.Allpointsnotmenonedinwringintheorderarenot

6.8. Guarantee period: Theguaranteeperiodformissingpartsandpatentdefectsva-
riesdependingonthenatureofthedefectinquesonandonthetypeofequipment
inqueson:
-Asregardsdomeschotwaterheatpumps:a3-yearguaranteeontheproductanda
5-yearguaranteeonthetank(anodeexcluded)fromdeliveryoftheapplianceinthe
caseofanon-compliancedefect;
-As regards central heang steel panel heaters: a 10-year guarantee from delivery
oftheapplianceinthecaseofanon-compliancedefect,asregardscentralheang
toweldryerradiators:a5-yearguaranteefromdeliveryoftheapplianceinthecase
ofanon-compliancedefect;
-Asregardselectricradiators,electricanddual-fueltowelrailsandaccessories:agua-
rantee lasng 30 months from delivery of the appliance up to a maximum of 36
monthsaeritsmanufacturingdateinthecaseofanon-compliancedefect;
-Asregardsspareparts:2yearsfromtheexchange.
Theguaranteeforhiddendefectsisprovidedforduraonof30monthsfromdelivery.
Thesparepartsvitalfortheuseofthemachineorequivalentsparepartsconnueto
beavailableforveyearsfromthedateofmanufactureoftheappliance.
Workcarriedoutundertheguaranteedoesnothavetheeectofextendingthedu-
raonoftheguarantee.
