How do I Find the Wireless Security Key?

This guide will take you through the process of cha gi g or checki g the wireless security setti gs
o a existi g wireless etwork.
This guide will not assist you to setup a ew wireless etwork. Please refer to the wireless setup
docume t for your model available from the support sectio of the NetComm website.

Finding the Wireless Security Key
To fi d the wireless security key of the NB6Plus4W Rev2 complete the followi g steps:
1. E sure a ether et cable is plugged from o e of the LAN ports of the NB6Plus4W Rev2 router to the
ether et port of your computer.
2. Navigate to http://192.168.1. 1 i a web browser.
3. E ter “admin” as both the user ame a d password a d click the Ok butto .

4. Select the Wireless optio from the me u at the top of the scree .

5. The example below shows the Wireless Basic settings page is the wireless security key. E sure
the Enable Wireless optio is selected a d select the Security optio from the optio s at the left
ha d side of the page.

6. I the example above the wireless security key is listed as the WP Pre-Shared Key.To view the
characters of wireless security key select the “Click here to display” optio .

7. The example above shows the default wireless security key for the NB6Plus4W Rev2 which is
“a1b2c3d4e5”.
8. If you wish to cha ge the wireless security key a d/or the wireless e cryptio type (usi g the
Wireless Security field), make the selected cha ges a d press the pply butto .
A y cha ges to your wireless security setti gs will require you to reco ect a y device co ected via
wireless usi g the ew security setti gs of the router. Please e sure that you have your wireless setup guide
ha dy for this.
