Whichever way you want it, 802.11a (5 GHz) or 802.11b (2.4 GHz), NETGEAR's Dual Band
Wireless Access Point delivers! This multi-talented access point operates simultaneously with both
wireless standards. It also connects to wired networks, taking care of today's needs as well as
tomorrow's. With the utmost convenience, you can add new 802.11a clients while maintaining
support for existing 802.11b clients. Or even move your entire network to a new office site.
High-speed data transmissions of up to 108 Mbps in turbo mode make it possible to accomplish
a lot of work in a short amount of time. Network users can share a broadband Internet
connection, access e-mail, download large files, videoconference, and distribute and play
digital images, videos, and MP3 files. Use and installation are as easy as can be, and your
communications and network are well protected with MAC Address Filtering and up to 152-bit
WEP security.
Simultaneously supports both IEEE 802.11a and 802.11b devices and networks – dual band capability
protects your 802.11b wireless investment and, at the same time, has you ready for the faster 802.11a.
Provides connectivity to a wired or wireless network for expanded bandwidth. Higher speeds expedite

Delivers the highest available level of industry-standard WEP encryption: 128-bit for 802.11b devices

the access point with a list of MAC addresses associated with the clients on the network and the access
point denies access to unauthorized clients.
