Your phone
This user guide applies to the following models: TA-1441, TA-1442, TA-1434, TA-1467.

Do not connect to products that create an output signal, as this may damage the device. Do
not connect any voltage source to the audio connector. If you connect an external device

or headset, other than those approved for use with this device, to the audio connector, pay
special attention to volume levels. Parts of the device are magnetic. Metallic materials may be
attracted to the device. Do not place credit cards or other magnetic storage media near the
device, because info stored on them may be erased.
Some of the accessories mentioned in this user guide, such as charger, headset, or data cable,
may be sold separately.
Note: You can set the phone to ask for a security code to protect your privacy and personal
data. The pre-set code is 12345. To change the code, select Menu > > Security settings
> Change access codes > Change security code . Enter the pre-set security code 12345 and
select OK . Make up a code with 5-8 digits, and select OK . Note, however, that you need to
remember the code, as HMD Global is not able to open or bypass it.
SET UP AND SWITCH ON YOUR PHONE
Mini SIM
Mahalaga: Idinisenyo ang device na ito na gagamit lang ng mini SIM card (tingnan ang larawan).
Maaaring masira ang card o ang device kung gagamit ng mga hindi akmang SIM card, at maaari
ding masira ang data na nakaimbak sa card. Mangyaring kumonsulta sa iyong mobile operator

Open the back cover
1. Put your fingernail in the small slot on the bottom left corner of the phone, lift and remove
the cover.
2. If the battery is in the phone, lift it out.
Insert the SIM cards

1. Slide the SIM card in the SIM card slot with the contact area face down.
2. If you have a second SIM, slide it in the SIM2 slot. Both SIM cards are available at the same
time when the device is not being used, but while one SIM card is active, for example,
making a call, the other may be unavailable.
Insert the memory card (TA-1434)
1. If you have a memory card, slide the memory card holder to the right and open it up. Place
the memory card in the slot, close down the holder, and slide it to the left to lock it in place.
2. Put back the battery.
3. Put back the back cover.

1. If you have a memory card, slide it in the memory card slot.
2. Put back the battery.

If you need to remove the memory card, press the card and slide it out from the memory card
slot.
Tip: Use a fast, up to 32 GB microSD memory card from a well-known manufacturer.

KEYPAD
Use the phone keys
• To see the apps and features of your
phone, on the home screen, select Menu .
• To go to an app or feature, press the scroll
key up, down, left, or right. To open the
app or feature, press the scroll key.
• To go back to the home screen, press the
end key.
• To change the volume of your phone
during a call or when listening to the radio,
scroll left or right.
• To switch on the flashlight, on the home
screen, press the scroll key up twice. To
switch it off, scroll up once. Do not shine
the light in anyone’s eyes.

Lock the keypad
To avoid accidentally pressing the keys, lock the keypad: select Go to > Lock keypad . To
unlock the keypad, press the end key and select Unlock .
Write with the keypad
Press a key repeatedly until the letter is shown.
To type in a space press the 0 key.
To type in a special character or punctuation mark, press the asterisk key, or if you are using
predictive text, press and hold the # key.
To switch between character cases, press the # key repeatedly.
To type in a number, press and hold a number key.

Add a contact
1. Select Menu > > Add contact .
2. Select where to save the contact.
3. Write the name, and type in the number.

Save a contact from call log
1. Select Menu > > Missed calls , Received calls , or Dialled numbers , depending on from
where you want to save the contact.
2. Scroll to the number you want to save, select Opt. > Save , and select where you want to
save the contact.
3. Add the contact’s name, check that the phone number is correct, and select OK .

Call a contact
You can call a contact directly from the contacts list.
1. Select Menu > .
2. Select Names and scroll to the contact you want to call.
3. Press the call key.
SEND MESSAGES
Write and send messages
1. Select Menu > > Create message .
2. Write your message.
3. Select Opt. > Send .
4. Type in a phone number, or select Search
and a recipient from your contacts list.
5. Select OK .
If you have a dual-SIM phone, you may need to select the SIM card you want to use for sending
the message.

CHANGE TONES
Set new tones
1. Select Menu > > Tone settings .
2. Select which tone you want to change and select for which SIM card you want to change it, if
asked.
3. Scroll to the tone that you want and select OK .
CHANGE THE LOOK OF YOUR HOME SCREEN
Choose a new wallpaper
You can change the background of your home screen.
1. Select Menu > > Display settings > Wallpaper .
2. Select the wallpaper you want.
3. Select how you want to position the wallpaper on the home screen.
Show date and time
You can select to see date and time on the home screen of your phone.
Select Menu > > Time settings > Display of time and date > Show clock .
If you want your phone to update the time automatically, set Auto-update of date and time
on. You may need to restart your phone for this setting to work.
Tip: You can also set your phone to show the time even in the idle mode. Select Menu > >
Display settings > Standby screen > On .
PROFILES
Personalize profiles
There are several profiles that you can use in different situations. There is, for example, a
silent profile for when you cannot have sounds on, and a loud profile for noisy environments.
You can personalize profiles further.

1. Select Menu > > Profiles .
2. Select a profile and Personalise .
For each profile you can set a specific ringtone, ringtone volume, message sounds and so on.
ADD SHORTCUTS
Edit Go to settings
On the bottom left of your home screen is Go to , which contains shortcuts to various apps
and settings. Select the shortcuts that are the handiest for you.
1. Select Menu > > Go to settings .
2. Select Select options .
3. Scroll to each shortcut you want to have on the Go to list and select Mark .
4. Select Done > Yes to save the changes.
You can also reorganize your Go to list.
1. Select Organise .
2. Scroll to the item you want to move, select Move and where you want to move it.
3. Select Back > OK to save the changes.

PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
Take a photo
1. Select Menu > .
2. To zoom in or out, scroll up or down.
3. To take a photo, select Capture .
To see the photo you just took, on the home screen, select Menu > > Captured photo .
Record a video
1. To switch the video camera on, select Menu > and scroll to .
2. To start recording, select .
3. To stop recording, select .
To see the video you just recorded, on the home screen, select Menu > �> Recorded videos .

MUSIC PLAYER
You can listen to your MP3 music files with the music player. To play music, you need to store
the music files on a memory card.
Listen to music
1. Select Menu > .
2. Select Opt. > All songs to see all your saved music.
3. Scroll to a song, and select Play .
To adjust the volume, scroll left or right.
Tip: To set a song as ringtone, select Opt. > Use as ringtone .
LISTEN TO RADIO
Listen to your favorite radio stations
1. Select Menu > .
2. To search for all available stations select OK .
To change the volume, scroll left or right. To move between available stations, scroll up or
down. To save a station, select Opt. > Save channel , give the station a name, and select
a location for it. To switch to a saved station, press the corresponding number key on the
phone’s keypad. To close the radio, select Stop .

ALARM CLOCK
Set an alarm
1. Select Menu > > Set alarms .
2. Select an alarm and use the scroll key to set the time.
3. Select OK .
If you want the alarm to repeat on certain days, select the alarm, then select Repeat alarm
> Repeat alarm , scroll to each day you want the alarm to sound on, and select Mark . Then
select Done > Yes .
CALENDAR
Add a calendar event
1. Select Menu > .
2. Scroll to a date, and select Opt. > Add reminder .
3. Enter the event name, and select OK .
4. Select whether to add an alarm to the event, and select OK .
CALCULATOR
Alamin kung paano mag-add, mag-subtract, mag-multiply at mag-divide gamit ang calculator
ng iyong telepono.
Paano magkalkula
1. Piliin ang Menu > .
2. Ilagay ang unang factor ng iyong kalkulasyon, gamitin ang scroll key para piliin ang

RESTORE FACTORY SETTINGS
I-reset ang iyong telepono
Maaaring magkaroon ng mga aksidente at maaaring huminto sa pagtugon ang iyong telepono.
