ATTENZIONE
- Leggi questo libretto e tutti gli altri documenti inclusi prima di utilizzare il tuo casco, perché
contengono importanti informazioni che ti aiuteranno ad utilizzare al meglio il casco, in tutta
sicurezza e semplicità. Ti invitiamo a conservarlo per future consultazioni.
- Non attenersi a queste istruzioni potrebbe ridurre la protezione data dal casco e quindi mettere
a repentaglio la tua incolumità.
- Evita utilizzi e comportamenti che possano compromettere o diminuire la capacità protettiva
del casco.
SCELTA E VERIFICA DEL CASCO
ATTENZIONE
Per sfruttare tutta la protezione offerta dal casco scegli la taglia corretta per la tua testa,
regola correttamente il sistema di ritenzione e verica lo scalzamento.
1 TAGLIA
1.1 Per individuare la taglia corretta, indossa caschi di diverse misure, e scegli quello che si adatta
meglio alla conformazione della tua testa, che risulta perfettamente stabile una volta indossato
e adeguatamente allacciato e che ti garantisce contemporaneamente un buon comfort.
1.2 Un casco troppo grande può scendere sino a coprire gli occhi, oppure ruotare lateralmente
durante la guida.
1.3 Tienilo in testa per alcuni minuti e verica che non ci siano zone di pressione, che alla lunga
possono provocare indolenzimento o mal di testa.
2 SISTEMA DI RITENZIONE
2.1 Il sistema di ritenzione (cinturino) è regolato di serie con una lunghezza standard; prima di
utilizzarlo (vedi istruzioni relative) verica la corretta pre-regolazione.
2.2 Assicurati sempre che il cinturino sia bene allacciato e stretto in modo da tenere il casco fermo
sulla testa. In qualsiasi caso, prima di partire, assicurati che il cinturino sia ben stretto sotto il
mento, il più indietro possibile verso la gola, ma senza che sia scomodo.
2.3 La giusta tensione del cinturino ti deve permettere una respirazione e una deglutizione norma-
le, ma senza riuscire a far passare un dito fra cinturino e gola.
ATTENZIONE
Il bottone eventualmente presente sul cinturino ha esclusivamente la funzione di impe-
dire lo sventolio della parte terminale dello stesso, dopo che si è provveduto ad allac-
ciarlo correttamente.
3 SCALZAMENTO
3.1 Con il casco indossato e il cinturino ben allacciato, prova a slarti il casco come indicato in
gura (A). Infatti, in caso d’incidente, le forze in gioco e le diverse direzioni in cui queste forze
agiscono possono determinare rotazioni del casco o addirittura lo scalzamento del casco dalla
testa se questo non è perfettamente allacciato.
3.2 Il casco non deve ruotare, muoversi liberamente sulla testa o slarsi. In caso contrario regola
la lunghezza del cinturino o cambia taglia del casco. Ripeti di nuovo il test.
UTILIZZO DEL CASCO
- Il casco è progettato in modo specico per l’uso motociclistico e ciclomotoristico; non deve
pertanto essere utilizzato per altri usi (o impieghi o nalità) perché in tal caso non garantisce la
medesima protezione.
- In caso d’incidente, il casco è un elemento di protezione che permette di limitare lesioni e
danni alla testa. Tuttavia, nessun casco può garantire la sicurezza assoluta. La funzione del

casco è quella di ridurre la possibilità o la gravità di lesioni in caso di incidente ma
l’entità di alcuni urti e le diverse dinamiche speciche dell’impatto possono superare
qualsiasi capacità protettiva del casco. Quindi, guida sempre con prudenza.
- Indossa sempre il tuo casco ben allacciato alla guida di motocicli, in modo da sfrut-
tarne tutta la protezione disponibile.
- Non indossare mai sciarpe sotto il sistema di allacciatura o copricapo di qualsiasi
tipo sotto il casco.
- Il casco può attutire i rumori del trafco. Comunque, in tutti i casi, assicurati di per-
cepire bene i suoni necessari quali clacson e sirene di emergenza.
- Tieni sempre il casco lontano da fonti di calore, come ad esempio la marmitta di scarico,
l’alloggiamento del bauletto o l’abitacolo di un mezzo di trasporto.
- Non modicare e/o manomettere il casco (anche solo in parte) per nessun motivo: eventuali
modiche e/o alterazioni compromettono i requisiti di sicurezza del casco e ne pregiudicano
la capacità protettiva. Queste rendono inoltre il casco non più conforme alle norme di omolo-
gazione, facendolo diventare inutilizzabile, e ne invalidano la garanzia.
- Evitare il contatto del casco con benzina e altri solventi; non applicare al casco adesivi e vernici.
- Danni al casco, che possono essere causati da cadute accidentali, non sempre sono visibili e
ogni casco che abbia subito un urto deve essere sostituito. Maneggiare il casco sempre con
cura per non comprometterne o diminuirne la capacità protettiva.
- Se la visiera e/o lo schermo parasole eventualmente presenti nel casco sono danneggiati e/o
presentano graf marcati che riducono la visibilità, è probabile che il loro trattamento protetti-
vo sia stato compromesso, e pertanto devono essere sostituiti.
- La visiera e/o lo schermo parasole eventualmente presenti nel casco sono utilizzabili esclusi-
vamente per il modello di casco per cui sono stati progettati.
- Monta solo accessori e/o ricambi originali adatti al tuo specico modello di casco.
- In caso di dubbi sull’integrità e/o sulla sicurezza del casco, astieniti dall’utilizzarlo e rivolgiti ad
un rivenditore autorizzato, per farlo ispezionare.
MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA DEL CASCO
ATTENZIONE
- Il casco e le sue componenti possono essere seriamente danneggiati da alcune sostanze
comuni senza che il danno sia visibile. Per le operazioni di manutenzione e pulizia utilizza solo
acqua tiepida e sapone neutro; asciuga a temperatura ambiente, al riparo dal sole e/o da fonti
di calore.
- Per le operazioni di manutenzione e pulizia non utilizzare mai benzina, diluente, benzolo,
solventi o altre sostanze chimiche, vernici e adesivi perché possono danneggiare irrimedia-
bilmente il casco e le sue componenti, modicare le proprietà ottiche, ridurre le proprietà
meccaniche ed indebolire il trattamento protettivo della visiera e/o dello schermo parasole
eventualmente presenti nel casco.

VISIERA (NFS-06)
1 SMONTAGGIO
1.1 Aprire completamente la visiera.
1.2 Spingere la leva di sgancio del meccanismo laterale sinistro verso il basso no a
ne corsa (Fig.1) e contemporaneamente allontanare la visiera dal casco facendo
fuoriuscire prima il gancio inferiore “A” e poi il gancio superiore “B” dalle rispettive
sedi presenti nel meccanismo laterale stesso (Fig.2).
1.3 Ripetere le precedenti operazioni sul lato destro del casco.
2 MONTAGGIO
2.1 Posizionare la parte laterale sinistra della visiera sul corrispondente meccanismo
laterale inserendo il gancio superiore “B” della visiera nella corrispondente sede
presente nel meccanismo stesso e allineando il gancio inferiore “A” della visiera
sopra la corrispondente sede presente nel meccanismo stesso (Fig.2).
2.2 Premere la visiera in corrispondenza del gancio inferiore “A” in modo che la leva
di sgancio arretri e poi torni in posizione agganciando, con un clic, la visiera al
meccanismo laterale (Fig.1).
2.3 Ripetere le precedenti operazioni sul lato destro del casco.
2.4 Chiudere completamente la visiera.
ATTENZIONE
- Vericare che i meccanismi funzionino correttamente. Aprire e chiudere la visiera
vericando che questa venga trattenuta dai meccanismi nelle rispettive posizioni.
Se necessario ripetere le operazioni sopra descritte.
- Non utilizzare il casco senza aver montato correttamente la visiera.
- Non rimuovere mai i meccanismi laterali dalla calotta.
- Se i meccanismi laterali presentano dei malfunzionamenti o danneggiamenti, rivol-
gersi ad un rivenditore autorizzato Nolangroup.

1 MONTAGGIO
1.1 Smontare la visiera (vedi istruzioni precedenti).
1.2 Assicurarsi che la supercie interna della visiera sia pulita e vericare che le leve
esterne di regolazione dei perni siano disposte verso l’interno (Fig.3).
1.3 Appoggiare il visierino interno PINLOCK®alla visiera.
Il prolo in silicone del visierino interno PINLOCK®deve essere a contatto con
la supercie interna della visiera.
1.4 Inserire un lato del visierino interno PINLOCK®in uno dei due perni della visiera e
tenerlo in posizione (Fig.4).
1.5 Allargare la visiera e incastrare all’altro perno il secondo lato del visierino interno
PINLOCK®(Fig.5).
1.6 Rilasciare la visiera.
1.7 Rimuovere la pellicola di protezione dal visierino interno PINLOCK®e controllare
che tutto il prolo in silicone del visierino sia aderente alla visiera.
1.8 Montare la visiera sul casco (vedi istruzioni precedenti).

2 VERIFICA E REGOLAZIONE DEL TIRAGGIO
Vericare il corretto montaggio del visierino interno PINLOCK®aprendo e chiudendo la
visiera e controllando che non ci sia movimento relativo tra di loro.
Qualora il visierino interno PINLOCK
®
non fosse ben ssato alla visiera, agire contempo-
raneamente su entrambe le leve esterne di regolazione facendole ruotare verso l’alto, in
modo graduale e senza eccedere, per aumentare il tiraggio (Fig.3). Il massimo tiraggio si
ottiene quando le leve esterne di regolazione dei perni si trovano disposte verso l’esterno.
ATTENZIONE
- L’eventuale presenza di polvere tra le due visiere può causare dei graf su entram-
be le superci.
- Visiere e visierini interni PINLOCK®danneggiati da graf possono ridurre la visibi-
lità e devono essere sostituiti.
- Controllare periodicamente il corretto tiraggio del visierino interno PINLOCK®per
evitare che questo si muova e possa causare dei graf su entrambe le superci.
- Qualora durante l’uso si vericassero fenomeni di appannamento della visiera del
casco e/o formazione di condensa in zone comprese tra visiera e visierino, veri-
care il corretto montaggio e tiraggio del visierino interno PINLOCK®.
- Un tiraggio eccessivo e prematuro del visierino interno PINLOCK®può determi-
nare un’eccessiva aderenza di quest’ultimo contro la supercie della visiera e/o
deformazioni permanenti dello stesso con conseguente impossibilità di eseguire
correttamente successive regolazioni.
- Situazioni d’intensa sudorazione/respirazione, utilizzo in particolari condizioni
climatiche (basse temperature e/o umidità elevata e/o sbalzi di temperatura e/o
pioggia copiosa) e/o utilizzo intenso e prolungato possono determinare la ridu-
zione dell’efcacia del visierino interno PINLOCK®causando appannamento o
formazione di condensa sullo stesso. In queste situazioni, dopo l’utilizzo, per ripri-
stinare l’efcacia del sistema, rimuovere il visierino interno PINLOCK®dalla visiera
del casco e farlo asciugare con aria secca e tiepida. La stessa prassi deve essere
eseguita per il casco, che deve essere lasciato asciugare per eliminare eventuale
umidità creatasi all’interno per le situazioni sopra descritte.
3 SMONTAGGIO
3.1 Smontare la visiera equipaggiata con il visierino interno PINLOCK®(vedi istruzioni
precedenti).
3.2 Allargare la visiera e sganciare il visierino interno PINLOCK®dai perni (Fig.5).
3.3 Rilasciare la visiera.
4 MANUTENZIONE E PULIZIA
- Smontare il visierino interno PINLOCK®dalla visiera. Usando un panno umido e
morbido, pulire delicatamente con sapone neutro liquido. Rimuovere ogni traccia
di sapone sotto acqua corrente.
- Lasciare asciugare il visierino senza stronare aiutandosi con aria secca e tiepida.
- Per mantenere inalterate nel tempo le caratteristiche del visierino, lasciare asciu-
gare il casco dopo l’utilizzo in luogo aerato e asciutto con la visiera aperta. Tenere
lontano da fonti di calore e conservare in luogo oscuro.
- Non usare solventi o prodotti chimici.

VISION PROTECTION SYSTEM (VPS)- (VPS-15)
L’esclusivo VISION PROTECTION SYSTEM (VPS) interno è uno schermo parasole
stampato in policarbonato LEXAN™ (*) e trattato scratch-resistant/fog-resistant, sem-
plice e comodo da utilizzare: basta abbassarlo per renderlo attivo o sollevarlo per
escluderlo dal campo visivo. È utile in tutte le situazioni, nei lunghi tratti extraurbani o
per brevi percorsi cittadini.
Il sistema di aggancio, inoltre, permette di smontare e montare lo schermo parasole
senza l’ausilio di attrezzi per le ordinarie operazioni di manutenzione e pulizia.
1 FUNZIONAMENTO
Il meccanismo del VPS permette, con un semplice movimento, di rendere attivo lo
schermo parasole abbassandolo sino ad impegnare parzialmente il campo visivo del-
la visiera, determinando la desiderata riduzione della trasmittanza della luce. In ogni
momento, sempre con un semplice movimento ed in modo indipendente dalla visiera,
il VPS può essere poi disattivato ed essere quindi rapidamente risollevato sino a ripri-
stinare le normali condizioni di visibilità e protezione offerte dalla visiera omologata del
casco.
1.1 Per attivare il VPS, azionare il cursore come in Fig.6A no a sentire lo scatto che
conferma il desiderato posizionamento del VPS.
Il VPS è regolabile in una serie di posizioni intermedie al ne di garantire il mi-
glior comfort per l’utilizzatore in relazione alle condizioni di utilizzo.
1.2 Per disattivare il VPS, azionare il cursore come in Fig.6B.
2 PRECAUZIONI D’USO
Gli attuali standard omologativi (ECE22-06) stabiliscono che i livelli minimi di trasmit-
tanza luminosa delle visiere debbano essere non inferiori all’80%; per gli schermi para-
sole omologati il livello minimo di trasmittanza deve invece essere non inferiore al 20%.
La normativa stessa contempla inoltre l’utilizzo contemporaneo della visiera e dello
schermo parasole, entrambi di serie.
ATTENZIONE
- Raccomandiamo di utilizzare il VPS solo ed esclusivamente in abbinamento alla
visiera di serie omologata, avente cioè valore di trasmittanza superiore all’80%.
- Il VPS non sostituisce la protezione che offre la visiera, pertanto esso deve essere
sempre utilizzato solo quando la visiera del casco è abbassata.
- Il VPS può essere attivato solo di giorno e in condizioni meteorologiche e ambien-
tali con luce particolare, per esempio con forte luminosità causata da un’elevata
intensità e/o incidenza dei raggi solari.
- Il VPS deve essere disattivato di notte e/o in condizioni di scarsa visibilità.
- Nel caso in cui vengano utilizzati degli occhiali da sole e/o con lenti fotocromatiche
il VPS deve essere disattivato.
- Vericare sempre che il posizionamento del VPS sia adeguato alle varie condizioni
meteorologico-ambientali e/o alle raccomandazioni d’utilizzo sopra esposte.
- Il VPS deve essere attivato/disattivato utilizzando esclusivamente l’apposito cur-
sore; non disattivare il VPS manipolandolo direttamente.
- Vericare che il VPS sia pulito e correttamente funzionante in modo che attivando

il VPS non si provochino graf e/o usure anomale dello stesso.
- Per le operazioni di manutenzione e pulizia del VPS e della visiera vedere l’appo-
sita sezione del manuale d’uso del casco.
- Il trattamento scratch-resistant/fog-resistant del VPS permette di ridurre notevol-
mente il problema dell’appannamento. Il perdurare di condizioni meteorologiche
e/o ambientali particolarmente critiche può tuttavia indurre l’insorgere dell’appan-
namento e/o determinare la formazione di condensa sul VPS con conseguente
riduzione della visibilità e/o della nitidezza delle immagini: in tal caso il VPS deve
essere disattivato.
- In caso di pioggia, il contatto diretto delle gocce d’acqua contro il VPS scratch-re-
sistant/fog-resistant determina una rapida diminuzione della nitidezza delle imma-
gini con conseguente scarsa visibilità: in tal caso il VPS deve essere disattivato.
- Il particolare trattamento fog-resistant del VPS è in generale sensibile alle condi-
zioni di temperatura elevata o alle fonti di calore. In questo caso possono veri-
carsi contaminazioni causate dal contatto con altri materiali, riscontrabili con la
formazione di aloni o macchie. Si raccomanda, in queste situazioni (ad es. nel
bauletto in giornate molto calde), di assicurarsi che il VPS non rimanga a contatto
con altri materiali.
3 SMONTAGGIO
3.1 Aprire completamente la visiera del casco e abbassare completamente il VPS
(vedi istruzioni precedenti).
3.2 Afferrare la parte laterale sinistra dello schermo parasole e tirarlo verso l’esterno
del casco (Fig.7).
3.3 Ripetere la stessa operazione sul lato destro del casco.
4 MONTAGGIO
4.1 Aprire completamente la visiera del casco azionare il cursore laterale no a ne
corsa (vedi istruzioni precedenti) (Fig.6A).
4.2 Controllare che la guida laterale destra sia posizionata in basso (Fig. 8); inserire
l’estremità destra dello schermo parasole nella guida stessa sino al completo ag-
gancio nella sede della calotta.
4.3 Inserire l’estremità sinistra dello schermo parasole nella guida laterale sinistra sino
all’aggancio nella sede della calotta (Fig.7).
ATTENZIONE
-Vericare il corretto funzionamento del VPS attivandolo e disattivandolo (vedi
istruzioni precedenti). Se necessario ripetere le operazioni sopra descritte.
- Se i meccanismi d’apertura e chiusura del VPS presentano malfunzionamenti o
danneggiamenti, rivolgersi ad un rivenditore autorizzato Nolangroup.
- Non utilizzare il casco senza aver montato correttamente il VPS.
IMBOTTITURA INTERNA DI CONFORTO AMOVIBILE
L’imbottitura di conforto amovibile si compone di:
- cufa
- cuscinetti dei guanciali laterali (destro e sinistro)
Tutte le componenti sono completamente amovibili e lavabili.

I guanciali sono inoltre caratterizzati da imbottiture interne in schiuma espansa sfode-
rabili.
Per rimuovere e/o montare l’imbottitura di conforto disattivare il VPS e aprire completa-
mente la visiera (vedi istruzioni precedenti).
1 SMONTAGGIO GUANCIALI
1.1 Aprire il sottogola (vedi istruzioni relative).
1.2 Tirare la parte anteriore dell’imbottitura del guanciale sinistro verso l’interno del
casco per sganciare i tre bottoni di ssaggio posti sul suo retro (Fig.9).
1.3 Slare la linguetta posteriore dell’imbottitura di conforto del guanciale sinistro
dall’intercapedine presente tra la guarnizione posteriore e la calotta interna in po-
listirolo; estrarre poi completamente l’imbottitura del guanciale dal casco (Fig.10).
1.4 Ripetere le stesse operazioni sul lato destro del casco.
Non rimuovere dalla calotta del casco i guanciali in polistirolo.
2 SMONTAGGIO IMBOTTITURA INTERNA IN SCHIUMA ESPANSA DEI GUANCIALI
Per agevolare ulteriormente la possibilità di lavare i componenti dell’imbottitura interna
di conforto, i guanciali del casco sono dotati di imbottiture interne in schiuma espansa
che possono essere estratte dalla fodera di rivestimento in tessuto. Per rimuovere tali
imbottiture, procedere come segue dopo avere smontato i guanciali dal casco (vedi
istruzioni precedenti).
2.1 Sganciare i tre occhielli “A” del telaio posteriore del guanciale sinistro in corrispon-
denza dei tre bottoni automatici (superiore, anteriore e posteriore) presenti sul suo
retro (Fig.11).
2.2 Slare le linguette superiore “B” ed inferiore “C” del telaio dai rispettivi passanti
presenti sul retro del telaio stesso (Fig.11).
2.3 Estrarre delicatamente dalla fodera di rivestimento in tessuto del guanciale la sua
imbottitura interna in schiuma espansa (Fig.12).
2.4 Ripetere le stesse operazioni con l’imbottitura del guanciale destro.
Attenzione: una volta estratte le imbottiture interne in schiuma espansa dai guan-
ciali, assicurarsi che i bottoni automatici anteriori, posteriori e superiori (di forma
diversa rispetto agli altri) siano correttamente agganciati al telaio posteriore della
fodera di rivestimento in tessuto dei guanciali stessi; in caso contrario, riposizio-
narli adeguatamente.
3 SMONTAGGIO CUFFIA
3.1 Sganciare la linguetta posteriore sinistra della cufa dal bordo posteriore della
calotta tirando leggermente l’imbottitura di conforto verso l’interno (Fig.13). Suc-
cessivamente ripetere l’operazione anche con la linguetta posteriore destra.
3.2 Afferrare la zona frontale sinistra della cufa e tirarla verso l’alto per slare la ri-
spettiva linguetta della cufa dal supporto ssato alla calotta interna in polistirolo
(Fig.14). Successivamente ripetere l’operazione anche con la linguetta frontale
centrale e con quella destra.
3.3 Togliere completamente la cufa dal casco.

4 MONTAGGIO CUFFIA
4.1 Inserire correttamente la cufa all’interno del casco facendola adagiare bene sul
fondo.
4.2 Inlare la linguetta frontale sinistra della cufa nella corrispondente sede presente
sul supporto ssato alla calotta interna in polistirolo e spingerla verso il basso sino
ad agganciarla completamente. Ripetere poi l’operazione anche con la linguetta
centrale e con quella destra (Fig.14).
Attenzione: vericare il corretto montaggio della zona frontale della cufa alzando
ed abbassando il VPS il cui movimento deve risultare libero. In caso contrario
ripetere le operazioni 3.2. e 4.2.
4.3 Inlare le linguette posteriori destra e sinistra della cufa nelle rispettive sedi del
bordo della calotta (Fig.13). Spingere le linguette sino ad agganciarle completa-
mente al supporto.
5 MONTAGGIO IMBOTTITURA INTERNA IN SCHIUMA ESPANSA DEI GUANCIALI
5.1 Inserire delicatamente nella fodera di rivestimento in tessuto del guanciale sinistro
la sua imbottitura interna in schiuma espansa (Fig.12). Stendere con cura l’im-
bottitura controllando che non si presentino grinze nel rivestimento in tessuto del
guanciale.
5.2 Inlare le linguette superiore “B” ed inferiore “C” del telaio nei rispettivi passanti
presenti sul retro del telaio stesso (Fig.11).
5.3 Agganciare i tre occhielli “A” del telaio posteriore del guanciale sinistro in corri-
spondenza dei tre bottoni automatici (superiore, anteriore e posteriore) presenti
sul suo retro (Fig.11).
5.4 Ripetere le stesse operazioni con l’imbottitura del guanciale destro.
6 MONTAGGIO GUANCIALI
6.1 Inlare la linguetta posteriore dell’imbottitura di conforto del guanciale sinistro
nell’intercapedine presente tra la guarnizione posteriore e la calotta interna in po-
listirolo (Fig.10).
6.2 Inserire il sottogola nell’apposito passaggio dell’imbottitura del guanciale e pre-
mere in corrispondenza dei tre bottoni di ssaggio posti sul suo retro per aggan-
ciarli alle relative sedi (Fig.9).
6.3 Controllare il corretto aggancio dei bottoni tirando leggermente il cuscinetto del
guanciale verso l’interno del casco e vericando che lo stesso resti aderente al
guanciale in polistirolo.
6.4 Ripetere le stesse operazioni con l’imbottitura del guanciale destro.
ATTENZIONE
- Se il tuo casco è dotato di sistema di ritenzione D-Rings chiudilo come indi-
cato nel cartellino istruzioni D-Rings allegato.
- Estrarre l’imbottitura interna di conforto solo quando è necessario pulirla o lavarla.
- Non usare mai il casco senza aver rimontato completamente e correttamente la
sua imbottitura interna di conforto in tutte le sue parti.
- Lavare delicatamente a mano ed utilizzare solo sapone neutro e acqua a 30° C max.

ISTRUZIONI D’USO
- Risciacquare in acqua fredda ed asciugare a temperatura ambiente al riparo dal sole.
- L’imbottitura interna di conforto non deve mai essere lavata in lavatrice.
- Il polistirolo interno è un materiale facilmente deformabile ed ha lo scopo di assor-
bire gli urti mediante sua alterazione o parziale distruzione.
- Non modicare o alterare in alcun modo le componenti interne in polistirolo.
- Pulire le componenti interne in polistirolo utilizzando esclusivamente un panno
umido, quindi lasciare asciugare a temperatura ambiente al riparo dal sole.
- Per eseguire le operazioni sopra esposte non utilizzare mai attrezzi e utensili.
EYEWEAR ADAPTIVE
1 APERTURA SPAZIO OCCHIALI
1.1 Rimuovere il guanciale sinistro dal casco (vedi istruzioni precedenti).
1.2 Sganciare l’occhiello “A” del telaio posteriore del guanciale in corrispondenza del
bottone automatico superiore presente sul suo retro (Fig.15).
1.3 Slare la linguetta superiore “B” del telaio dal passante presente sul retro del telaio
stesso (Fig.15).
1.4 Estrarre delicatamente dalla fodera di rivestimento in tessuto del guanciale la sua
imbottitura interna in schiuma espansa (Fig.16).
1.5 Staccare la parte superiore dell’imbottitura interna pre-fustellata (Fig.16), quindi
riposizionare correttamente la restante parte d’imbottitura nel guanciale.
Si consiglia di conservare la parte d’imbottitura rimossa per eventuali
reimpieghi successivi.
1.6 Rinlare la linguetta superiore “B” del telaio nel passante presente sul retro del
guanciale e riagganciare l’occhiello “A” in corrispondenza del bottone automatico
superiore presente sul retro (Fig.15).
1.7 Rimontare il guanciale completo nel casco (vedi istruzioni precedenti).
1.8 Ripetere le stesse operazioni con l’imbottitura del guanciale destro.
2 CHIUSURA SPAZIO OCCHIALI
2.1 Rimuovere il guanciale sinistro dal casco (vedi istruzioni precedenti).
2.2 Sganciare l’occhiello “A” del telaio posteriore del guanciale in corrispondenza del
bottone automatico superiore presente sul suo retro (Fig.15).
2.3 Slare la linguetta superiore “B” del telaio dal passante presente sul retro del telaio
stesso (Fig.15).
2.4 Inserire correttamente all’interno della fodera di rivestimento in tessuto del guan-
ciale parte d’imbottitura precedentemente rimossa (Fig.16).
2.5 Rinlare la linguetta superiore “B” del telaio nel passante presente sul retro del
guanciale e riagganciare l’occhiello “A” in corrispondenza del bottone automatico
superiore presente sul retro (Fig.15).
2.6 Rimontare il guanciale completo nel casco (vedi istruzioni precedenti).
2.7 Ripetere le stesse operazioni con l’imbottitura del guanciale destro.
PARAVENTO (WIND PROTECTOR)
(Disponibile di serie o come accessorio/ricambio).
Questo accessorio permette di migliorare le prestazioni del casco in particolari condizioni
d’utilizzo. Il paravento (Wind Protector) riduce spiacevoli inltrazioni d’aria sotto il mento.

ISTRUZIONI D’USO
1 SMONTAGGIO
Per rimuovere il paravento tirarlo verso l’esterno del casco in corrispondenza delle
tre linguette di aggancio (Fig.17). Controllare poi che i bottoni automatici anteriori dei
guanciali laterali siano ancora correttamente agganciati.
2 MONTAGGIO
Per montare il paravento, tirare leggermente la parte anteriore dell’imbottitura del guan-
ciale sinistro verso l’interno del casco, quindi inserire la linguetta laterale sinistra del
paravento nella corrispondente sede presente sul rivestimento della mentoniera interna
e spingerla verso il basso sino ad agganciarla completamente. Ripetere poi l’opera-
zione anche con la linguetta centrale e con quella destra (Fig.17). Controllare poi che i
bottoni automatici anteriori dei guanciali laterali siano ancora correttamente agganciati.
SISTEMA DI VENTILAZIONE
Il sistema di ventilazione del casco è composto da:
Ventilazione inferiore
Consente la ventilazione in corrispondenza della bocca e convoglia l’aria direttamente
sulla visiera limitandone l’appannamento.
Vedi Fig.18 per l’apertura e la chiusura.
Ventilazione superiore
Provvede alla ventilazione diffusa nella zona superiore della testa anche a bassa ve-
locità.
Vedi Fig.19 per l’apertura e la chiusura.
Ventilazione posteriore
È integrato in uno spoiler posteriore e permette l’eliminazione dell’aria calda e viziata,
garantendo un comfort ottimale all’interno del casco (Fig.20).

SAFETY AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
WARNING
- Before using the helmet read this booklet and all enclosed documents carefully, in that they
contain very important indications on how to use the helmet easily and safely. We recommend
you to store it for future reference.
- Failure to observe these instructions may reduce the protection provided by the helmet and
consequently put your safety at risk.
- Do not operate or act in such a way that could compromise or reduce the protection provided
by the helmet.
CHOICE AND VERIFICATION OF HELMET
WARNING
To exploit the whole protection offered by the helmet, choose the correct size for your
head, adjust the retention system correctly and check the taking off.
1 SIZE
1.1 In order to determine the correct helmet size, try on helmets of different sizes and choose the
one which suits best the shape of your head and which you feel rm once worn and fastened,
thus ensuring a great comfort.
1.2 Should the helmet be too big, it may slide down to cover the eyes or turn slowly to the side
while riding.
1.3 Keep it on for a few minutes and make sure there are no points of extreme pressure that may
cause pain or headache.
2 RETENTION SYSTEM
2.1 The retention system (strap) is factory-adjusted at a standard length. Before use (see relevant
instructions) check that it is correctly pre-adjusted.
2.2 Make sure the strap is properly fastened and tightened so as to keep the helmet rmly in place.
Anyway, before riding, make sure that the strap is well fastened under the chin, as close as
possible to the throat, but without being uncomfortable.
2.3 The correct strap tension should allow normal breathing and swallowing, but without leaving
the space of a nger between strap and throat.
WARNING
The button which may be present on the strap only prevent its end from apping once
the strap has been fastened properly.
3 TAKING OFF
3.1 With the helmet on and the strap securely fastened, try to take the helmet off as shown in g-
ure (A). In case of accident, the different forces at stake and their various directions may result
in helmet rotations or they may even cause the helmet to take off if it is not securely fastened.
3.2 The helmet should not rotate nor move on the head and should not slide off. Should the con-
trary happen, adjust strap length or change helmet size. Repeat test.
USING THE HELMET
- The helmet is specically designed for motorcycle and motorbike use. Therefore, it must not
be used for different purposes (or different reasons or operations) since, in such cases, it
would not guarantee the same protection.
- In case of accident, the helmet represents a protective element, which reduces injuries and
head damage. Nevertheless, no helmet can guarantee total safety. The helmet reduces the risk
or the gravity of injuries in case of accidents, but the degree of some impacts and the different
circumstances may exceed helmet protection. Therefore, ride safely.

- When riding any motorcycle, always wear the helmet properly fastened in order to
fully exploit its protection.
- Never wear scarves under the fastening system nor caps of any sort under the hel-
met.
- The helmet can mufe trafc noises. However make sure that you can hear essential
sounds such as horns and emergency vehicle sirens.
- Always keep the helmet away from heat sources like the exhaust mufer, the top box
housing or the interior of a vehicle.
- Do not modify and/or tamper with the helmet (even partially) for any reason: any modications
and/or alterations compromise the safety requirements of the helmet and impair its protection
degree. These also make the helmet no longer conform to the homologation standards, mak-
ing it unusable and invalidate the warranty.
- Avoid contact between the helmet and gasoline and other solvents; do not apply adhesives or
paints to the helmet.
- Helmet damages resulting from accidental falls may not be visible, and any helmet that has
been impacted has to be replaced. Always handle your helmet carefully in order not to com-
promise or reduce its protection degree.
- If the visor and/or sunscreen that may be present in the helmet are damaged and/or have
marked scratches that reduce visibility, their protective treatment has likely been compro-
mised, and therefore they must be replaced.
- The visor and/or sunscreen that may be present in the helmet can only be used with the helmet
model for which they were designed.
- Use only original accessories and/or spare parts suitable for your specic helmet model.
- In case of doubt about the helmet’s integrity and/or safety, avoid using it and contact an au-
thorized dealer to have it checked.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING OF THE HELMET
WARNING
- The helmet and its components may be seriously damaged by some common substances
without the damage being visible. Use only lukewarm water and mild soap for maintenance
and cleaning operations; dry at room temperature away from the sun and/or heat sources.
- Never use petrol, thinner, benzene, solvents or other chemical substances, paints, and adhe-
sives for maintenance and cleaning operations. These can irreparably damage the helmet and
its components, modify its optical properties, reduce its mechanical properties and weaken
the protective treatment of the visor and/or sunscreen that may be present in the helmet.

VISOR (NFS-06)
1 DISASSEMBLY
1.1 Open the visor completely.
1.2 Push the release lever of the left side mechanism completely downwards (Fig.1)
and simultaneously push the visor away from the helmet initially projecting the
lower hook “A” and then the top hook “B” from the corresponding seats in the side
mechanism (Fig.2).
1.3 Follow the previous operations on the right side of the helmet.
2 ASSEMBLY
2.1 Position the left side part of the visor on the corresponding side mechanism by in-
serting the top hook “B” of the visor into the corresponding seat in the mechanism
and aligning the lower hook “A” of the visor above the corresponding seat in the
mechanism (Fig.2).
2.2 Press the visor at the lower hook “A” so that the release lever recedes and then re-
turns to position, hooking the visor to the side mechanism with just a click (Fig.1).
2.3 Follow the previous operations on the right side of the helmet.
2.4 Close the visor completely.
WARNING
- Make sure that the mechanisms are working properly. Open and close the visor,
making sure the latter is held in place in its different positions by the mechanisms.
If necessary, repeat the operations mentioned above.
- Do not use the helmet if the visor has not been assembled properly.
- Do not remove the side mechanisms from the shell.
- Should any of the side mechanisms fail or be damaged, please contact a Nolan-
group authorized dealer.

(Available as standard or accessory/spare part)
1 ASSEMBLY
1.1 Disassemble the visor (see instructions above).
1.2 Make sure that the inner surface of the visor is clean and check that the pin adjust-
ment external levers are turned inwards (Fig.3).
1.3 Place the PINLOCK®inner visor on the visor.
The silicone prole of the PINLOCK®inner visor inner visor must be in contact
with the inner surface of the visor.
1.4 Insert one side of the PINLOCK®inner visor onto one of the two visor pins and hold
it in position (Fig.4).
1.5 Widen the visor and fasten the other side of the PINLOCK®inner visor to the other
pin (Fig.5).
1.6 Release the visor.
1.7 Remove the protective lm from the PINLOCK®inner visor and check that the
entire silicone prole of the inner visor adheres to the visor.
1.8 Fit the visor on the helmet (see instructions above).

2 CHECKING AND ADJUSTING THE STRETCH
Check that the PINLOCK®inner visor has been correctly tted by opening and closing
the visor and ensuring that they do not move with respect to each other.
Should the PINLOCK®inner visor not be tightly xed to the visor, simultaneously move,
gradually and not excessively, both external adjustment levers upwards, to increase
the stretch (Fig.3). The maximum stretch is achieved when the pin adjustment external
levers are positioned outwards.
WARNING
- Dust between the two visors may cause both surfaces to scratch.
- Scratched PINLOCK®visors and inner visors may cause reduced visibility and
must therefore be replaced.
- Regularly check the correct stretch of the PINLOCK®inner visor to prevent it from
moving and scratching both surfaces.
- If, in use, the helmet visor fogs up and/or condensation forms between the visors,
check that the PINLOCK®inner visor is both correctly tted and stretched.
- An excessive and early stretch of the PINLOCK®inner visor may result in exces-
sive adherence against the visor surface and/or permanent deformations with
subsequent inability to correctly perform future adjustments.
- Intense sweating/breathing, use in particular weather conditions (low tempera-
tures, high humidity, sudden changes in temperature or heavy rain) and/or intense
and prolonged use may affect the performance of the PINLOCK®inner visor, caus-
ing fogging or formation of condensation. In such cases, to restore the system ef-
ciency after using the helmet, remove the PINLOCK®inner visor from the helmet
visor and leave it to dry in warm and dry air. The same procedure must be applied
to the helmet, which should be left to dry to remove any humidity that may have
formed as a result of the conditions described above.
3 DISASSEMBLY
3.1 Disassemble the visor equipped with the PINLOCK®inner visor (see instructions
above).
3.2 Widen the visor and release the PINLOCK®inner visor from the pins (Fig.5).
3.3 Release the visor.
4 MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
- Remove the PINLOCK®inner visor from the visor. Using a damp and soft cloth,
gently clean it with mild liquid soap. Rinse off all the soap under running water.
- Leave the visor to dry in warm and dry air without wiping it.
- To preserve the visor’s condition over time, leave the helmet to dry in a ventilated
and dry place with the visor open after use. Keep it away from heat sources and
store it in a place away from direct light.
- Do not use solvents or chemical products.
VISION PROTECTION SYSTEM (VPS)- (VPS-15)
The exclusive inner VISION PROTECTION SYSTEM (VPS) is a LEXAN™ (*) polycar-
bonate moulded sunscreen with scratch-resistant/fog-resistant treatment. It is very
simple and practical to use: just lower it to activate it or lift it to remove it from your eld
(*) LEXAN is a trademark of SABIC.

of vision. It is useful in all sorts of situations, both on long journeys out of town and
shorter town trips.
Moreover, the fastening system allows you to assemble and disassemble the sun-
screen for ordinary maintenance and cleaning, using no tools.
1 OPERATION
The VPS mechanism allows to activate the sunscreen by simply lowering it until the
visor eld of vision is partially covered. In this way, the light transmittance is reduced
as desired. At any time, without operating the visor, the VPS can be deactivated with a
simple movement and easily lifted up to restore the normal conditions of visibility and
protection guaranteed by the approved helmet visor.
1.1 To activate the VPS, move the slider as in Fig.6A until you hear a click, conrming
that the VPS is in the desired position.
The VPS is adjustable in a range of intermediate positions to ensure the best
comfort for the user with respect to the terms of use.
1.2 To deactivate the VPS, move the slider as in Fig.6B.
2 PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
Current homologation standards (ECE22-06) establish that the minimum light trans-
mittance levels of visors must be no less than 80%; for homologated sunscreens, the
minimum transmittance level must be no less than 20%.
The regulation itself also contemplates the simultaneous use of the visor and sun-
screen, both as standard.
WARNING
- We recommend your using of the VPS only and solely together with the approved
standard visor, which has a transmittance value greater than 80%.
- Since the VPS does not assure you the same protection as the one provided by
the visor, it has to be used only when the helmet visor is lowered.
- The VPS can only be activated during daytime and in weather and environmental
di conditions with a particular light, for example, strong brightness caused by high
intensity and/or incidence of sunlight.
- At night and/or in conditions of poor visibility, the VPS must be deactivated.
- Should sunglasses and/or photochromic lenses be used, the VPS must be deac-
tivated.
- Always check that the VPS is properly positioned according to the different weather/
environmental conditions and/or to the above-mentioned usage recommendations.
- Use the special slider to activate/deactivate the VPS; do not deactivate the VPS
by handling it directly.
- Always make sure that the VPS is clean and that it is operating properly in order to
avoid scratches and/or anomalous wear on it every time it is activated.
- As for VPS and visor maintenance and cleaning operations, please refer to the
appropriate section in the helmet user’s manual.

- The VPS scratch-resistant/fog-resistant treatment highly reduces fogging. Howev-
er, protracted periods of adverse weather and/or environmental conditions might
cause fogging and/or formation of condensation on the VPS, which entails a re-
duction of visibility and/or sharpness of vision: in this case, deactivate the VPS.
- In case of rain, the direct contact of raindrops with the scratch-resistant/fog-re-
sistant treated VPS quickly reduces sharpness of vision, thus causing scarce visi-
bility: in this case, deactivate the VPS.
- The special VPS fog-resistant treatment is usually sensitive to high temperatures
or heat sources. In this case, contaminations caused by contact with other ma-
terials might occur. These contaminations will cause marks and stains to come
out. In these cases (e.g., when the helmet is kept in the top case on hot days), it is
recommended that the VPS does not come into contact with other materials.
3 DISASSEMBLY
3.1 Open the helmet visor and lower the VPS completely (see instructions above).
3.2 Hold the left lateral part of the sunscreen and pull it toward the outside of the
helmet (Fig. 7).
3.3 Repeat the same operation on the right side of the helmet.
4 ASSEMBLY
4.1 Open the helmet visor completely and move the side slider until it stops (see in-
structions above) (Fig.6A).
4.2 Check that the right-side guide is positioned downward (Fig. 8); insert the right
end of the sunscreen into the guide until it is fully hooked in the shell seat.
4.3 Insert the sunscreen left end into the left side guide until it is hooked in the shell
seat (Fig.7).
WARNING
- Make sure the VPS operates correctly by activating and deactivating it (see
instructions above). If necessary, repeat the operations mentioned above.
- If the VPS opening and closing mechanisms are not working properly or if such
mechanisms get damaged, please contact a Nolangroup authorized dealer.
- Do not use the helmet if the VPS has not been assembled properly.
REMOVABLE INNER COMFORT PADDING
The removable comfort padding consists of:
- a liner
- side cheek pads (right and left)
All components can be completely removed and washed.
The cheek pads are also characterised by removable inner expanding foam padding.
To remove and/or t the inner comfort padding, deactivate the VPS and open the visor
completely (see instructions above).
1 DISASSEMBLING THE CHEEK PADS
1.2 Unfasten the chin strap (see relevant instructions).
1.2 Pull the front padding of the left cheek pad towards the inside of the helmet to
undo the three fasteners on its back (Fig. 9).

1.3 Remove the rear tab of the comfort padding of the left cheek pad from the cavity
between the rear trim and the polystyrene inner shell; then completely remove the
cheek padding from the helmet (Fig.10).
1.4 Follow the same steps on the right side of the helmet.
Do not remove the polystyrene cheek pads from the helmet shell.
2 DISASSEMBLING THE INNER EXPANDING FOAM PADDING OF THE CHEEK PADS
To facilitate the washing of the inner comfort padding components, the cheek pads of
the helmet are tted with inner expanding foam padding that can be removed from the
fabric lining. To remove the padding, proceed as follows after disassembling the cheek
pads from the helmet (see instructions above).
2.1 Unhook the three eyelets “A” of the rear frame of the left cheek pad at to the three
snap buttons (top, front, and rear) on its back (Fig.11).
2.2 Take the top “B” and bottom “C” tabs of the frame out of the respective loops on
the back of the frame (Fig.11).
2.3 Gently remove the inner expanding foam padding from the fabric lining of the
cheek pad (Fig.12).
2.4 Repeat these steps with the padding of the right cheek pad.
Warning: once the inner expanding foam paddings have been removed from the
cheek pads, ensure that the front, rear, and top snap buttons (shaped differently
from the others) are correctly hooked to the rear frame of the fabric lining of the
cheek pads. Otherwise, reposition them appropriately.
3 DISASSEMBLING THE LINER
3.1 Release the left rear tab of the liner from the shell rear edge by slightly pulling the
comfort padding inwardly (Fig.13). Then repeat the operation also for the right rear
tab.
3.2 Hold the left front part of the liner and pull it upwards in order to remove the cor-
responding liner tab from the support xed to the polystyrene inner shell (Fig.14).
Then repeat the steps with central front and right tabs as well.
3.3 Completely remove the liner from the helmet.
4 ASSEMBLING THE LINER
4.1 Insert the liner correctly into the helmet and have it well tted against the base.
4.2 Insert the left front tab of the liner into the corresponding seat on the support xed
to the polystyrene inner shell and push it downwards until it is completely hooked.
Repeat the operation with the central and the right tabs too (Fig.14).
Warning: Check the correct assembly of the liner front area by lifting and lowering
the VPS. These movements should be smooth. If this is not the case, repeat the
steps 3.2 and 4.2.
4.3 Insert the rear right and left tabs of the liner into the corresponding seats of the
shell edge (Fig.13). Push the tabs until they are fully hooked onto the support.

5 ASSEMBLING THE INNER EXPANDING FOAM PADDING OF THE CHEEK PADS
5.1 Gently put the inner expanding foam padding inside the fabric lining of the left
cheek pad (Fig.12). Carefully spread out the padding while checking that there are
no creases in the cheek pad fabric lining.
5.2 Insert the upper tab “B” and the lower tab “C” of the frame into their loops on the
back of the frame (Fig.11).
5.3 Fasten the three eyelets “A” of the rear frame of the left cheek pad at to the three
snap buttons (top, front, and rear) on its back (Fig.11).
5.4 Repeat these steps with the padding of the right cheek pad.
6 ASSEMBLING THE CHEEK PADS
6.1 Insert the rear tab of the comfort padding of the left cheek pad into the slot be-
tween the rear trim and the polystyrene inner shell (Fig.10).
6.2 Insert the chin strap into the cavity in the cheek padding and press at the three
fasteners located on the back to fasten them to the relevant seats (Fig.9).
6.3 Check whether the fasteners are correctly fastened by slightly pulling the cheek
pad towards the inside of the helmet and checking that it keeps adhering to the
polystyrene cheek pad.
6.4 Repeat these steps with the padding of the right cheek pad.
WARNING
- If your helmet is equipped with the D-Ring retention system, pull it down as
indicated in the attached D-Ring label.
- Remove the inner comfort padding only when cleaning or washing is required.
- Never use the helmet without having completely and correctly reassembled its
inner comfort padding.
- Carefully wash by hand and use only mild soap and water at 30° C max.
- Rinse using cold water and dry at room temperature, away from direct sunlight.
- Never machine-wash the inner comfort padding.
- The inner polystyrene is an easily deformable material. It is apt to change or get
partially destroyed to help absorb shocks.
- Do not modify or alter the internal polystyrene components in any way.
- Clean the inner polystyrene components using a damp cloth only and allow them
to dry at room temperature away from direct sunlight.
- Never use tools or equipment to carry out the steps described above.
EYEWEAR ADAPTIVE
1 CREATING SPACE FOR GLASSES
1.1 Remove the left cheek pad from the helmet (see instructions above).
1.2 Unhook the rear frame eyelet “A” of the cheek pad at the top snap button on its
back (Fig.15).
1.3 Take the top tab “B” of the frame out of the loop on the back of the frame (Fig.15).
1.4 Gently remove the inner expanding foam padding from the fabric lining of the
cheek pad (Fig.16).
1.5 Detach the upper part of the pre-punched inner padding (Fig. 16), then correctly
reposition the remaining part of the padding in the cheek pad.
It is recommended to keep the removed padding for any subsequent reuse.

1.6 Put the top tab “B” of the frame back into the loop on the back of the cheek pad
and refasten the eyelet “A” at the top snap button on the back (Fig.15).
1.7 Ret the complete cheek pad on the helmet (see instructions above).
1.8 Repeat these steps with the padding of the right cheek pad.
2 REMOVING SPACE FOR GLASSES
2.1 Remove the left cheek pad from the helmet (see instructions above).
2.2 Unhook the rear frame eyelet “A” of the cheek pad at the top snap button on its
back (Fig.15).
2.3 Take the top tab “B” of the frame out of the loop on the back of the frame (Fig.15).
2.4 Properly insert part of the previously removed padding into the fabric lining of the
cheek pad (Fig.16).
2.5 Put the top tab “B” of the frame back into the loop on the back of the cheek pad
and refasten the eyelet “A” at the top snap button on the back (Fig.15).
2.6 Ret the complete cheek pad on the helmet (see instructions above).
2.7 Repeat these steps with the padding of the right cheek pad.
WIND PROTECTOR
(Available as standard or accessory/spare part).
This accessory allows improved helmet performance under certain conditions of use.
The Wind Protector reduces unpleasant inltrations of air under the chin.
1 DISASSEMBLY
To remove the wind protector, pull it outwards with respect to the helmet at the three
fastening tabs (Fig. 17). Then check that the front snap buttons of the side cheek pads
are still correctly hooked.
2 ASSEMBLY
To t the wind protector, slightly pull the front of the left cheek pad inwards with respect
to the helmet. Then insert the left side tab of the wind protector into the corresponding
seat on the lining of the inner chin guard and push it downwards until it is fully hooked.
Repeat the operation with the central and right tabs too (Fig.17). Then check that the
front snap buttons of the side cheek pads are still correctly hooked.
VENTILATION SYSTEM
The ventilation system of the helmet consists of:
Lower ventilation
It allows ventilation around the mouth and channels the air directly on the visor to
reduce fogging.

Top ventilation
It allows diffuse ventilation to the top of the head, even at low speed.
