Turn the volume down to its lowest level. – Then put the headset on and slowly adjust
the volume to a comfortable level.
To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods.
Keep the volume at the lowest level possible and avoid using the headset in noisy
environments where you may be inclined to turn up the volume. – If you need to adjust
the volume, do it slowly to avoid sudden, unintended loud sounds.
If you experience discomfort or ringing in your ears, stop using the headset immediately
and consult a physician. – Continued use at high volume may accustom your ears to the
sound level and result in permanent damage to your hearing without any noticeable
discomfort.
Be cautious about wearing your headset while engaging in any activity that requires your
full attention. Remove or turn off your headset to keep you from being distracted and
avoid accidents.
Using your stereo headset while operating a motor vehicle, motorcycle, watercraft or
bicycle may be dangerous, and is illegal in some jurisdictions. Please respect local laws.
If you use a hearing aid or other electronic medical device, please consult your physician
before using the headset.
Never try to dismantle the product yourself. None of the internal components can be
replaced or repaired by users. – Only authorized dealers or service centers may open the
product. If any parts of your product require replacement for any reason, including
normal wear and tear or breakage, contact your dealer.

The Brooklyn in-ear stereo headset is suitable for many different areas of use. It is
particularly suited to environments where you are likely to be disturbed by ambient
noise, e.g. in airplanes, on trains, on the subway, at the gym or when you are studying.
Inserting and removing the earplugs:

_ For best results, moisten the sleeves before insertion.

_ The letter “L” on the headset represents left ear, the letter “R” on the headset
represents right ear. Please wear your headset accordingly.

_ Holding the earplug at the rear, carefully insert the sleeve while pulling up and out on
the back of the ear.

_ The earplug should seal deeply and comfortably in the ear canal.
After use, remove carefully, e.g. avoid pulling the cable.

_ Please make sure, the microphone is not covered while wearing. This would
affect the telephony audio quality.

In order to optimize the comfort and sound quality of your novero Brooklyn headset, it is
important to select the best fitting ear sleeves. Please take your time and try the
provided sleeves of different sizes (small, medium and large).
The sleeves can easily be removed by sliding them off the earplug. When replacing them,
please take care that the sleeves’ rubber notches are fastened in the locking groove.

Read the following recommendations before using your novero Brooklyn. Following
these you will be able to enjoy the product for many years.

_ From time to time, please clean your ear phones with an antiseptic cloth or wipe.

_ For cleaning, please use a mild, antiseptic detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaning
solvents.

_ Do not expose the headset to liquid, moisture or humidity to avoid the product’s
internal circuit being affected.

_ Store the headset out of magnetism, direct sunlight and extreme temperatures (above
45°C/11 °F or below -10°C/-14°F), as this may shorten the lifetime, affect the operation
or degrade the performance of your headset.

_ Do not expose the cables and plugs to abnormal wear and tear, e.g. by bending or
pulling them. Avoid winding the cable too tightly.

_ Do not expose the headset to contact with sharp objects as this will cause scratches
and damage.

_ Do not let the headset fall down onto the floor. The internal circuit might get
damaged.

Brooklyn has a limited one - year (1) warranty. novero warrants this product to be free
from defects in materials and workmanship ( subject to the terms set forth below ) for a
period of one (1) year from the date of purchase (“warranty period”). During the warranty
period, novero will repair or replace this product or any defective parts at novero’s
discretion (“warranty service”). If repair or replacement is not commercially practicable
or cannot be completed in a timely manner, novero may choose to issue you a refund of
the purchase price paid for the affected product. Repair or replacement under the terms
of this warranty does not give the right to any extension or new beginning of the
warranty period. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or defects caused by
rough handling.
Claims under the warranty: To obtain warranty service, please contact the novero dealer
from whom you purchased this product or visit www.novero.com for further information
about customer service. If you like to extend your warranty please visit
www.novero.com. You need to return this product to the place where you have bought it
in either the original box or packaging affording an equal degree of protection. You will
bear the cost of shipping the product to novero. If the product is covered by the
warranty, novero will bear the cost of shipping the product back to you after completion
of the warranty service. Return shipping will be charged to you for products not covered
by the warranty or requiring no warranty service. For more support and further
