General Warning
Please ensure these instructions are fully read
and implemented. Failure to do so may result in
injury. Retain these instructions in a safe place
for future reference.
1.0 Maintenance
Intended for use when sitting in either a chair,
wheelchair or bed, these over bed tables
provide an adjustable height flat surface for
reading, eating, writing etc.
2.0 Safety
Do not overload the table top, 20Kg Max load.
Check hand wheel is secure at regular intervals.
Before commencing height adjustment place
your hand on the table top to prevent it rising too
quickly as the table-top lift is spring assisted.
Do not attempt to use the table as a walking aid.
3.0 Unpacking
Remove packaging and check all parts carefully
before assembling the product, figure 2. Do not
assemble if any parts are missing or damaged.
4.0 Assembly
Please Note: An M8 or adjustable spanner and
a cross head screwdriver are required to
assemble this product.
Frame Assembly:
Push the fixed column (Item 3) into the square
boss on the base assembly (Item 2), figure 4.
Secure in place, on the underside of the base,
using the M8 bolt (Item 8) and washer (Item
9), figures 5 & 6.
A spanner is required for this operation.

Table Top Assembly:
Slide the short length of the ‘L’ shape
adjustable column (Item 4) into the tube on the
underside of the table top (Item 1), figure 7.
Secure using the two M6 screws provided,
(Item 6), figure 8.
Connect the table top to the base:
Push the height adjustable column inside the
fixed column, figure 9.
Ensure table top extends over the frame.
Fit and tighten the hand wheel when the table
is at the desired height, figure 10.

5.0 Height Adjustment
Before commencing height adjustment place
your hand on the table top to prevent it rising too
quickly, as the table-top lift is spring assisted.
Loosen the hand wheel, the spring
mechanism will assist the rise of the table
top.
Press down to lower if required.
Secure the desired height by tightening
the hand wheel on the column.
6.0 Cleaning
Clean regularly using a general purpose,
neutral detergent and warm water.
Please check the suitability of the cleaning
product before use. Do not use abrasive
cleaners or cloths as this will permanently
damage the surface and invalidate any
warranty.
To disinfect, wipe with a dilute bleach solution
and rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
7.0 Maintenance
Check castors are securely fitted and free to
rotate. Remove any build-up of dirt/debris.
Check the height adjustment mechanism
functions smoothly and the hand wheel is tight.
Inspect product regularly for signs of wear. Any
suspected faults or damage should
immediately be reported to the supplier and the
product taken out of use.
8.0 Product Disposal
Product should be thoroughly cleaned prior to
disposal.
Product is manufactured from metal and
plastic and can be disposed of through Local
Authority Household Waste and Recycling
Centres or through Local Trade Waste
Collectors.
9.0 Product Guarantee
NRS Healthcare guarantee this product for a
period of 12 months from the date of purchase,
against faulty materials and workmanship. This
guarantee does not cover; abuse, misuse,
interference or tampering with any part of the
product.
Any guarantee issued by NRS Healthcare
does not affect your statutory rights.
