General Safety Warning
Please make sure that you read and follow these
instructions carefully. Failure to do so can result
in injury. Keep these instructions in a safe place
for future reference.

INTENDED USE
The NRS High Back Chair has been designed as a fully adjustable daily use arm chair, suitable for users
up to 25st (158kg). The chair features moulded arm rests, a comfortable, profiled, padded back, giving
excellent lumbar support, easy to clean vinyl upholstery with optional wings for added comfort and head
support. Supplied as flat-pack.
SAFETY
Warning: The maximum user weight must not be
more than 25st (158Kg).
Inspect the product before use – contact the service
provider in the event of damage.
Make sure all fastenings are secure and fully
tightened before use - check at regular intervals.
Do not stand on the chair or sit on the arm-rest under
any circumstances, failure to comply can result in
serious injury. Do not adjust the product while it is
in use.
Inspect the product at regular intervals for wear and
damage.
UNPACKING
Remove the packaging and check all parts carefully.
Contact your supplier immediately if parts are
missing or damaged, do not try to assemble.

ASSEMBLY/INSTALLATION
1. Prepare the Base Assembly for Side Assembly
installation.
Tilt the base assembly on its side.
2. Position the RHS Side Assembly on the Base
Assembly
3. Fix the RHS Side Assembly to the Base
Assembly
Use 2 x side bolts, 2 x saddle washers, 1 x front bolt,
1 x flat washer and the Allen Key to secure the side
assembly to the base assembly.
Repeat steps 1 to 3 for the LHS side assembly.
4. Adjust the Leg Height:
NRS recommends adjusting the leg height before
fitting the back assembly.
Remove the E-clips.
Adjust the legs to the required position.
Replace the E-clips.
Turn the assembly over and repeat on the opposite
side.
Note: Make sure that all legs have been set to the
same height.
5. Fit the Back Assembly to the Base Assembly
Turn the hand-wheels anti-clockwise to loosen
before fitting the back assembly.

Slide the back assembly frame over the base frame.
Make sure the hand-wheels and washers have
located over the base frame slots.
Push and hold the button clips, then push the back
assembly down fully until the button clips click into
place.
Note: Make sure that the button clips have fully
engaged the holes.
Turn the hand-wheels clockwise to tighten and
secure the back assembly.
Repeat for the upper hand-wheels.
6. Adjust the Backrest Height
Turn the 4 hand-wheels anti-clockwise to loosen and
release the back assembly from the frame.
Slide the back to the required position, then turn the
4 hand-wheels clockwise to tighten and secure the
back.
7. Adjust the Seat Depth
Tilt the chair onto its back.
Turn the 2 hand-wheels anti-clockwise to loosen and
release the seat from the frame.

Slide the seat to the required position, then turn the
2 hand-wheels clockwise to tighten and secure the
seat.
Note: Make sure that all hand-wheels are fully
tightened before use.
CLEANING
Clean regularly using a general purpose, neutral
detergent and warm water.
Please check the suitability of the cleaning product
before use. Do not use abrasive cleaners or cloths
as these could permanently damage the surface and
invalidate any warranty.
To disinfect, wipe with a dilute bleach solution, and
rinse thoroughly with fresh water.
Allow product to fully dry prior to use/storage.
MAINTENANCE
Inspect the product at regular intervals and before
re-use for signs of general wear or damage.
Any suspected faults or damage must be reported
to the supplier and the product taken out of use
immediately.
Check the hand-wheel tension at regular intervals.
Check the bolts are fully tightened.
Check that all button clips and e-clips are fully secure.

This product should be thoroughly cleaned prior to
disposal.
This product is manufactured from metal,
polyurethane and plastic and can be disposed
of through Local Authority Household Waste and
Recycling Centres or through Local Trade Waste
Collectors.
PRODUCT GUARANTEE
NRS Healthcare guarantee this product for a period
of 24 months, from the date of purchase, against
faulty materials and workmanship.
This guarantee does not cover; abuse, misuse,
interference or tampering with any part of the product.
Any guarantee issued by NRS Healthcare does not
affect your statutory rights.
