OCCURS, follow these instructions:
SKIN – rinse area with mild soap and water.
EYES – Flush with water for 15 minutes or until
irritation ceases.
If medical attention is needed, tell medical
personnel that the battery electrolyte for Lithium
Ion batteries is composed of a mixture of liquid
organic carbonates and lithium salts.
Contents of opened battery cells may cause
respiratory irritation. Provide fresh air. Seek
medical attention if the symptoms persist.
ALWAYS use the battery charger provided with this
machine which is specifically designed to the charge
its 24V Lithium-Ion battery.
NEVER splash or immerse the battery with water or
any other liquid.

BATTERY CHARGER
BATTERY
The battery is equipped with a battery charge indicator. After disconnecting the battery from the machine,
press the green check button to display the charge level.
BATTERY CHARGER
Plug the battery charger into 120 VAC power outlet before inserting onto the battery. Slide the battery
charger onto the battery; the red light on the battery charger is continuously on while the battery is charging.
The battery charge should take 3.5 to 4 hours on a battery that has been fully depleted. When the green
light on the battery charger comes on, the battery is fully charged. It is recommended to leave a battery on
its battery charger with the green light on until the machine is to be used. This will help provide the longest
battery life. If the battery charger has blinking red and green lights, it indicates that the battery is defective
and should be replaced.
It is recommended to recharge the battery as soon as possible after each use or battery life may be greatly
diminished. For longest battery life, do not discharge the battery fully.
For best charging performance, the battery should be charged where the ambient temperature is between
65°F and 75°F (18°C to 24°C). Never charge the battery when the ambient temperature is below 40°F
(4.5°C) or above 105°F (40.5°C) as this can cause serious damage to the battery.
The battery and battery charger may become warm to the touch during battery charge. This is normal. After
charging, do not store the battery in a warm environment.
Do not allow any liquid to get inside of the battery charger. Never attempt to open the battery for any
reason. If the battery’s plastic housing cracks or breaks, call 1-800-822-8837 for recycling information.
ALL REPAIR SERVICE MUST BE PERFORMED BY AN NSS AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTOR/
SERVICE STATION USING ONLY NSS ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT PARTS.
