del very Veh cle
T e weig t of t e unit modules and palletised items is displayed
on t e unit rating plate or on t e packaging. Some of t e modules
ave an uneven weig t distribution, and t is will be indicated by
labelling w ere appropriate. Ensure t at lifting and andling
equipment is adequately rated.
Offloading and positioning of t e equipment is t e responsibility of
t e purc aser.
Spreaders s ould be used w en lifting wit slings to avoid damage
to t e casings. Care must be taken to ensure t at slings are
correctly positioned to avoid crus ing and twisting of t e unit
castings.
W ere c annels and/or support frames are bolted to t e underside
of t e unit casing, slings or fork-lift arms s ould be positioned to

1.3 Storage
T e equipment must be stored in a dry, internal location. Ductwork
connection apertures s all be sealed against t e ingress of dust,
water and vermin. Note t at units t at are intended for internal
locational use only.
If t e storage period is to exceed two mont s, contact Nuaire for
guidance on t e appropriate “mot balling” procedures.
Do not stack units, modules or components.
2.0 Erect on and Assembly
Units must be installed in accordance wit good industry practice,
orizontal and level on a prepared ceiling utilising t e fixing
brackets supplied.
Heat recovery modules and modules t at incorporate cooling coils
may produce condensation during use. An insulated drip tray and
drain connection is provided, and s ould be connected to a suitable
drainage point.
Provision may be required, and if so, s ould be made, for t e fitting
of a correctly sized cleanable trap to eac drain connection.
Please see figure 10. for condensate connections and sizes.

Coils are tested during manufacture to 16 Bar (using dry
compressed air). Operation of standard equipment is rated at PN6,
if t e intended system requires ig er operating pressures; please
contact t e Nuaire Tec nical department for advice.
Electrical connections to t e unit s all be made in accordance
wit t e appropriate product (see below); and installation wiring
diagrams, and s all use appropriately sized and rated cables.
T e unit rating label s ows t e maximum electrical load of t e
equipment. Connections to t e unit may include single p ase supply
connections, and a variety of control circuits.
Control circuit connections must be segregated (i.e. routed
separately) from power connections.
Only t e prepared apertures in t e unit casing may be used for
cable entry. Do not drill or cut t e unit casing for t is purpose.
T e equipment must be eart ed and eart -bonded. Means of local
isolation for maintenance purposes are generally required.
