WARNINGS

DONOTstrike,shakeordropthescale.
DONOTsteponthescalewithwetfeet,glasssurfacecouldbeslippery.
Keepthescaledry.
Keepstandingstillduringthecourseofweighing.
Avoidbreakingthescalebystrikingtheglasswithasharpobjectorbydropping.
Storeyourscalehorizontally;donotstoreitonitsside.Thebatteriesshouldonly
bereplacedbyadults.Donotallowchildrentousetheapplianceunlessthe
batterycoverisattached.
Failuretoproperlyalignthebatterypolaritycorrectlycancausedamagetothe
productandcancauseafirehazard.


Thescaleusestwo1.5VAAAbatteries(supplied).Thesebatteriesarelocated
internallyandreadilyaccessible.
Removethebatterycoveronthebottomofthescaletoremovethebatteries.
Thebatteriesmustbedisposedofatyourlocalrecyclingpoint.

Replacingthebattery
1. Removethebatterycover.
2. Insertthebatteriesintothebatterycompartment
observingthecorrectpolarity.
3. Attachthebatterycover.
OPERATION
1. Placethescaleonahardandveryflatsurface.Avoidcarpetorsoftsurface.
2. Afterinstallingthebatteries,thedisplaywillshow“888.8”brieflythenshow“0.0”.




3. Selecttheweightunitkgorlbusingtheunitswitchon
thebackofthescale.





4. Steponthescaleandstandstill.
Youwillhearabeepandthescaledisplaywillflashtoindicatethatthe
readingisaccepted.
5. Ifthereisnooperationforawhile,thescalewillautomaticallyswitchoff.


Warningindicators
Whenthedisplayshows“C”,pleasestepthescaleoffthenstepitonagainto
measureweight.
Whenthedisplayshows“Lo”,pleasereplacethebattery.
Whenthescaleisoverloaded,thedisplaywillshow“Err”.Pleasestepofftoavoid
damage.
