The Route Printer Series is a portable, full-page dot
matrix printer that is rugged enough to be used in
the cab of a truck or carried into a remote
receiving area. The RP 2000 accommodates
Symbol®PDT8000, PDT8046, and MC9000-S
handheld computers. Its intelligent cradle allows
the handheld computer to communicate with the
printer as well as charge the handheld computer
batteries.
The RP 2000 with Bluetooth®enables the printing of
receipts and invoices wherever they are needed.
The features of this one-piece printing solution
include:
•Paper capacity of up to 200 sheets of 8.5" x 11" paper.
• Ability to print 4-part delivery receipts and invoices.
•Unique paper feed design that literally eliminates
paper jams.

In-vehicle 12-volt system or internal battery pack.
Ease of Use Minimizes Training. The RP printer
automatically “wakes up” upon receipt of data and
returns to sleep mode after printing, ensuring
maximum battery life.
Investment Protection. Printer fonts and the
operating system are stored in Flash memory, so
upgrading using the office PC is easy. The RP Series
speaks your language – any language.
In
cooperation with Bitstream©fonts, any
international character set can be added. This
ensures that RP Series printers will meet your
language needs today and tomorrow.
No Paper Jams. In the early 80’s, O’Neil created a
unique paper feed design that literally eliminates
paper jams. It allows a lot of paper to fit in a small
package. The printer can be held in any
orientation, even upside down, without jamming...
perfect for portable applications.

When the RP 2000 printer is configured with an
Integrated Bluetooth®module, mobile workers can
realize all of the convenience, power efficiencies
and cost benefits of a wireless personal area
network. O’Neil was the first portable printer
manufacturer to incorporate the Bluetooth protocol
in Flash memory, eliminating the need for costly
software and hardware upgrades whenever the
wireless specification changes.
