The OC™The O’Neil Compact™Serial & Wireless Portable Thermal Printer OC3
www.oneilprinters.com
The O’Neil CompactTM - the OCTM,is the world’s most
streamlined, light weight, and ergonomic family of
portable label and receipt printers. Designed especially
for those labeling and transaction applications where
ergonomic considerations, ultimate portability, and smart
looks are paramount, the OC is ideal for a wide variety of
mission-critical applications.
The OC3 prints label and receipt media up to 3 inches
wide. Its streamlined design (35% smaller than the closest
competition) and light weight makes it ideal to meet the
continually expanding requirements associated with
retail, hospitality, transportation, and field sales and
services applications. The advanced features standard
with the OC3 offer extreme adaptability to meet the unique
and industry specific portable printing requirements
demanded in today’s evolving business environment.
These features include 802.11b/g or Bluetooth®
networking capabilities, high print quality,Flash memory,
intelligent power management, and font and language
flexibility.
Retail. The OC3 is ideal for printing price and markdown
labels and for printing shelf labels via wireless LAN.
Use the OC3 for mobile point-of sale and line/queue-
busting where it can print receipts and take payments
with its integrated magnetic stripe card reader. And
because of its sleek styling and good looks, the OC3 is at
home in any retail environment.
Hospitality.Let the OC3 eliminate long lines and improve
your customer service with mobile check-in and check-
out. In the restaurant environment, the OC3 is perfect for
order-taking at tableside. The integrated magnetic stripe
card reader allows you to quickly take payments and
issue receipts on the spot.

pharmacies can print labels for medications, patient
charting, and specimen identification.

replace manual tickets.

code labels for pallets and deliveries. Create and issue
boarding passes for passenger check-in. During in-flight

Outstanding Print Quality. The OC3’s reliable print
mechanism offers outstanding print clarity, allowing the
printing of graphics, bar codes and logos. Its full two-year
warranty, even on the printhead*,offers peace of mind
with our promise to stand behind every product we sell.
Wireless Printing. When wireless is a necessity, count on
O’Neil to offer the most reliable solution. Our integrated
802.11b/g module connects the OC3 to your wireless
network. Our Bluetooth®module offers the convenience
of a wireless personal area network, eliminating the need
for mobile workers to return to their vehicle to print
receipts or tickets. O’Neil was the first portable printer
manufacturer to incorporate the Bluetooth protocol in
Flash memory, eliminating the need for costly software
and hardware upgrades whenever the wireless
specification changes.
Power to Spare. The OC3’sLithium-Ion batteries offer
maximum power capacity for a full 10+ hour shift, even
under the toughest conditions. It can print as many as
5,304 - 2” x 1.125” labels, on a single battery charge. Its
automatic “sleep” mode saves power and the fast 3.5/4.5-
hour recharging time, along with optional vehicle charger,
provides an ideal solution for long and intense printing
applications.
Flash Memory. As business changes, so might your
printer needs. We pioneered the use of Flash memory
many years ago allowing you to change fonts and
functions simply by connecting the printer to a computer.
There is no need to return the printer for an upgrade.
We Speak Your Language. Any Language. O’Neil has
eliminated the font and character limitations found in
other printers. In cooperation with Bitstream®fonts, any
international character set can be added to the OC3 with
aone-time minimal setup fee.
“When the decision was
made to begin our hand-
held project the supplier
options were numerous,
but the decision was
easy...it was O'Neil all
the way. And I’m
pleased to report that
O’Neil has far exceeded
our expectations.”
Matthew McGary
