The microFlash 8i serial and wireless printers print
high-quality, full size, multi-part customer invoices,
receipts, load reports, transfers and other
documents for route accounting applications at
the point of delivery. O’Neil’s unique design makes
the 8i rugged enough to be used either in the front
seat of a delivery vehicle or carried into a receiving
area. Holding up to 200 sheets of 8.5" x 11" or A4
paper, the exclusive paper feed design of the 8i
literally eliminates paper jams and allows the
maximum amount of paper to fit in a small footprint.

standards, the 8i is engineered throughout to
withstand the punishing demands of the mobile
environment. The unbreakable double-walled
polyethylene case protects the 8i from everyday
jolts and road bumps, and its rock solid print
mechanism is proven to provide years of service
where other printers fail. A full one year warranty
is provided for the 8i, even on the printhead,
offering peace of mind you can only get with an
O’Neil printing solution.

Flash Memory. As your business changes, so
might your printer needs. We pioneered the use of
Flash memory many years ago allowing you to
change fonts and functions simply by connecting
the printer to a computer. No need to return the
printer for an upgrade.
We Speak Your Language – Any Language. O’Neil
has taken away the font and character limitations
found in other printers. In cooperation with
Bitstream®fonts, any international character set can
be added to the 8i with a one-time minimal setup fee.
Plenty of Power. The 8i is powered by your
vehicle’s 12-volt system without a voltage adapter,
or it can be used remotely with an internal battery
pack. The 8i has enough power to print up to 201 –
11" invoices on a single battery charge, at a speed
of 270 cps.
No Paper Jams. In the early 80’s, O’Neil created a
unique paper feed design that literally eliminates
paper jams. It allows a lot of paper to fit in a small
package. The printer can be held in any
orientation, even upside down, without jamming...
perfect for portable applications.
When the microFlash 8i printer is configured
with an Integrated Bluetooth®module, mobile
workers can realize all of the convenience,
power efficiencies and cost benefits of a
wireless personal area network. O’Neil was the
first portable printer manufacturer to incorporate
the Bluetooth protocol in Flash memory,
eliminating the need for costly software and
hardware upgrades whenever the wireless
specification changes.
