Big Sound From a Compact Docking System
As well as letting you get more out of your i od®, i hone®or i ad®, the SBX-300 adds a touch of class to your listening space. The
unit’s beauty is more than skin deep, with technology found in Onkyo’s top-end hi-fi systems filtering into the portable models. For
example, the SBX-300 includes engineering features found in Onkyo’s subwoofer range. Two reflex woofer ducts in the rear add a
layer of resonant bass. Low-frequency sound is further enhanced with the unit's Super Bass booster system. Digital amplifier
circuitry and a pair of full-range speakers ensure pristine playback of your music library. Other features include a dust-free digital
dock; a comfortable brushed aluminum carry handle; and Active Bass Control to ensure perfectly balanced bass at low volume. With

Built-in Dock for Direct Digital Connection of
iod/i hone/i ad
he SBX-300’s built-in dock for iPod/iPhone/iPad features a
direct digital connection that allows you play back all your
favorite music and podcasts in a variety of audio formats.
As the audio signals are transpor ted in digital form, rather
than analog, the signal quality remains pristine. Your
iPod/iPhone/iPad is automatically recharged whenever it sits
in the dock, and you can operate major functions on the
device with the SBX-300’s remote controller.
Active Bass Control
At quiet volume levels, human hearing becomes less
sensitive to sounds at the upper and lower ends of the
audible spectrum. o compensate for the perceived loss of
bass sounds at lower volumes, the SBX-300 incorporates
Onkyo’s proprietary Active Bass Control. his function
maintains an optimal balance of low-frequency sounds by
making automatic, real-time adjustments in line with the
playback volume. Listeners are able to enjoy smooth and
natural-sounding bass at any volume level.
