T is tutorial explains ow to fit t e Ecopure Eco-8 filter.
T e Ecopure Eco-8 is designed to filter all t e water supply a cold water tap or refrigerator and any
cold water 15mm pipe.

Fitting your new filter
First you need to turn off your cold water supply and drain down by turning on t e taps. If you are
unsure, t en get a qualified plumber of andyperson to come in and do t e job.
T e in and out fittings are 15 mm ‘pus fit’ fittings so ensure t at you use pus any 15 mm (copper
or plastic/speedfit) pipe. You need to cut your cold water 15mm copper pipe and place t e filter
into t e gap - so t at it sits "in-line".
It is recommended to fit a small lengt (about 6-10cm) of copper pipe to fit to t e compression
fitting on a flexible ose as s own below.

T e copper pipe t en needs to be pus ed into t e black 15mm pus fittings. Ensure t ey are in
completely and firmly, you s ould feel t em slide into place if done correctly.
T e filter as a flow arrow pointing in t e direction of t e water flow. T is indicated w ere t e “in”
and “out” goes, so ensure you ave t e filter pointing in t e rig t direction for your water flow.Your
filter comes wit a mounting clip w ic you can position accordingly.
Once t e filter is in position, you can turn on t e cold water supply and c eck for any leaks.Run t e
filter for at least 5 minutes to flus t e filter of any loose carbon or sediments.
After t is, t e job is done and you ave filtered water! It is recommended t at for drinking water,
you can run your tap at slower t an normal flow rates to ensure t e water passes slower t roug
t e filter.
