STEP 1: Spread tent out flat, floor side down. Unzip door.
NOTE: DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN GUY ROPES, AS THIS COULD CAUSE TENT
RIDGE POLES TO BEND TOO MUCH LEADING TO A SAGGY TENT AND
POSSIBLY POLE BREAKAGE.
IMPORTANT: WE ADVISE YOU TO ASSEMBLE THE TENT ONCE BEFORE
GOING CAMPING TO BECOME FAMILIAR WITH THE ASSEMBLY OF THE TENT.
NOTE: PLEASE LOOK AT THE REPLACEMENT PARTS DIAGRAM TO SEE HOW
YOUR FRAME IS ASSEMBLED.
TO PROLONG THE LIFE OF THE TENT FLOOR, SELECT A LEVEL, CLEAN AREA FOR
THE CAMPSITE. TO PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE ZIPPER, UNZIP THE DOORS TO
ALLOW AIR TO ENTER THE TENT.
TO IMPROVE THE WEATHER RESISTANCE OF YOUR TENT, IT IS ADVISABLE
TO USE SEAM SEALER TO COAT ALL EXPOSED SEAMS. YOU SHOULD APPLY
ONLY TO THE INSIDE SEAMS OF THE TENT . IF APPLIED TO THE OUTSIDE
SEAMS, DISCOLORATION OF YOUR TENT MAY OCCUR. SEAM SEALER IS
AVAILABLE IN THE CAMPING SECTION
OF ANY LOCAL SPORTING GOODS
STORE.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
MODEL W944 - 6 Person Flex Ridge Tent
STEP 8: Slide the extendable roof cross pole through the green pole sleeve located
on the top of the tent running from side to side. Place the ends of the pole with the
clips into the hubs. Rotate the pole until the clip pops into the corresponding opening
on the hub.
STEP 11: Tie the fabric ties on the sides of the tent around the
steel poles.
STEP 2: Stake the tent to the ground by inserting
tent stakes through the webbing loops and steel
rings at the base of the tent. Hammer stakes into
the ground at a 45° angle to the tent, making
sure the tent floor is pulled out even and tight.
STEP 4: Locate the four fiberglass tent poles.
Extend each fiberglass pole by pulling out
each section and placing the pole ends into
t
he metal ferrule connectors. These are the
four Flex Ridge poles (A) which run front
to back at each corner across the tent roof.
STEP 5: Locate and extend each of the five steel poles, by pulling out each wire-
corded section and placing the jointed ends into the connected pole sections. The
pole with the snap pin adjustable length is the center roof cross pole (B). The 2 poles
with the open ends and the snap clips at one end are the Main upright poles (C).
The remaining two are the screen porch upright poles (D).
STEP 6: Locate the four green pole sleeves at the side of the roof of the tent. Slide
fiberglass flex ridge pole into each of the sleeves with the metal end positioned at
the plastic hub.
STEP 7: Place the metal ferrule ends of all four
fiberglass poles into the sides of the hub with the
“teeth”. The narrower opening should be positioned
to face across the roof of the tent and the larger
opening facing down.
STEP 9: Check the fiberglass poles (A) are still fully inserted into the hubs then
extend the pole until the snap pin pops into place. Note that there are two holes
that allow for adjustable tension on the roof.
STEP 10: Go to one side of the tent and lift the hub off the ground
and insert the end of the steel upright pole (C) into the bottom
opening of the 4-way hub. Place the bottom end of the steel pole
over the metal pin located on the ring at the base of the tent. Repeat
at the second side of the tent.
STEP 13: Place the pointed ends of each canopy pole (D) through the
webbing loop at the corner edge of the canopy. Extend the guy rope
from the webbing loop
and stake to the ground . Repeat with the other
canopy pole.
NOTE: If rain is expected, remove the awning poles and guy the awning directly
to the ground. This will allow rain to drain away from tent, and prevent water from
pooling on the awning. In strong wind or heavy rain conditions, roll up and stow
the awning. When stowing, roll awning down and under so water will run off and
not pool in the roll. This is best done with two people
NOTE : To take down tent, follow steps above in the reverse order. Be sure to leave
door and windows unzipped. Place stakes into stake bag and poles into the pole bag,
which are provided. Make sure tent is clean and dry before storing. The tent
should be folded into equal parts toward the center of the tent to distribute the bulk.
Start a small tight roll, the width of the carry bag, with the pole bag placed at the end
opposite the door. Roll tent toward door to allow air to escape. Once rolled, tie a string
or rope around tent to hold into place. Place tent, frame and stakes into carry bag.

place loop over a tent stake and adjust the slider to make the guy
rope tight and stake to the ground.
