underseatprotectorisdesired.Theprotectorisinatedwithairusingthespecialinationbag,allowingquickandeasysetupwith
excellentimpactprotection.
The Backpack
Withski/snowboardcarrysystem,compressionstraps,hydrationaccess,andacomfortableandergonomicsupportframe,the
SWITCHpackisajoytocarry.Thereservecompartmentissecurewhileinpackmode,butallowseasyextractioninthecaseof
areservedeployment.Inight,thebackstoragecompartmentcanbecompressedviazippertoreducethestorageprolewhen
desired.

PLACING YOUR SPEED SYSTEM

Feedthespeedbarlinethroughthemetalringand
theopeningoftheprotectivesleeve-useapiece
ofplasticormagiclinetopullthelinethroughthe
protectivesleeve.Thenpassthelinethroughthe
Ronstanpulley.
Dothesamewiththeelasticbungeeandtietothepulleyattachmentloopusingasuitableknot.
Attachthebartothespeedlineandbungeeusingsuitableknots.Onceintheair,andwhenitis
safetodoso,checkthatyoucanplaceyourfootonthebareasilyandthatthesystemoperates
smoothlyallthewaytofullspeed.
IMPORTANT: The speed lines must be of equal length, ensure they are not too short as this will inadvertently
activate the speed system when under tension in the air. Always double-check lengths and symmetry whilst
on the ground before ying.
A lightweight integrated speed system is included as standard. If your wing does not have a foot operated speed system we
recommendthelinesandbarareremovedfromtheharnessstructure.Ifyoueverneedtoreplacethesystemfollowthesesteps.

Beforeyourrstight,werecommendtosuspendtheharnessfromasuitablystrongpointtocheckthatittsyoucorrectlyandto
becomefamiliar withthe featuresand adjustments.You cansetthe shoulderadjustment-straps tond thebest t,andadjustthe
lumbersupportsothattheyleaveyouinacomfortablyreclinedposition.Finetuningcanthenbemadeduringyourrstightstond
theperfectsetupforyou.
SHOULDER STRAPS
The length of the Shoulder straps can be modied using the adjustment straps. Adjust the
shoulderswhilst standingup with theharness on sothat theyarecomfortably snug.Whilst
suspended in the seated position ensure the straps are comfortable and supportive, they
shouldnotbetootightnortooloose.
LUMBAR SUPPORT
TheLumbarsupportshouldbeadjustedforacomfortableyingposition.Preciseadjustments
canbemadeintheairsothatyourlowerbackiscompletelysupportedandthereisnotension
inyourstomachmuscles. Besure toadjust thelumbar supportscarefully, settingthem too
loosewillresultinaveryreclinedpositionintheair.

LEG STRAPS / CHEST STRAP
Fastentheleg/cheststrapwiththeclickbuckles.Theredbuttonmustbedepressedto
closeandopenthebuckles.Slotthecircularholeoverthesilverbosssothatthered
buttonisdepressedandthenslidethebucklebackwards.Theredbuttonwillpopup,
thebuckleisthenlockedinplace.
Ensure the buckles are closed properly, the red
buttonshouldbeupandthefemalebuckles
pulledfullysotheyareseatedwithintheslots.
Toundothebucklesrstdepresstheredbuttonandslidethebuckleforward.
Thelengthofthelegstrapshavebeencarefullysetandcannotbeadjusted.Formaximum
weightshiftthecheststrapshouldbesettothewidestposition.Forgreaterrollstabilitythe
strapscanbetightened.Itisimportanttotestyandadjusttondthepositionthatisbest
foryourstyleofyingandoverallcomfort.

RESERVE PARACHUTE INSTALLATION
TheSwitchhasanintegralunderseatreserveparachutecontainerandissuppliedwithadedicateddeploymentbag.Thecontainer/
deploymentbag is suitable for parachutes withavolume of between 3 and6ltrsand will accept most modern rescueparachutes
includingtheAngelSQ140andsteerableRogallotypes.
NOTE: When installing the reserve parachute it is recommended to rst mount the paragliding module to
the harness.
WARNING: Ozone strongly recommends that the reserve parachute system is installed by a qualied
professional. Always seek experienced advice if you have any doubts.
Make sure you perform a practice throw from a static hang point. Not only does this ensure the correct
functioningofyourdeploymentsystemitalsoallowsyoutobecomemorefamiliarwiththeinstallationprocess.
NOTE: The integrated parachute can only be deployed with the right hand.
Toinstallareserveparachuteyoushouldrstpacktheparachutesothatitmatches
theshapeanddimensionsofthedeploymentbag.Youmustusethededicated
Switchdeploymentbag/handle.
