GENERAL SAFETY CONCERNS
zThe grow cabinet is for home use only
zChildren under eight should not use the grow cabinet without adult
supervision
zThe grow cabinet is not a toy
zDo not operate the pump if cassettes are not in the cabinet
zDo not fill water in the reservoir above MAX. This ensures there is no
spill over when the pump stops operating
zDo not pour water into the cassettes. It should be poured directly into
the reservoir
HARVESTING AND EATING SAFETY CONCERNS
zWash what has been harvested prior to eating
zEat only what is fresh and looks healthy
zDo not eat anything that was in direct contact with the water,
especially the roots
zAdd water suitable for drinking only
zAfter water has been added to the reservoir it is no longer suitable for
drinking
zIf there's a bad odor, treat the problem immediately (see
Troubleshooting)
STORAGE SAFETY
zThroughly clean and dry the grow cabinet before placing it in storage
ELECTRICAL SAFETY CONCERNS
zDo not install electrical heating or cooling equipment inside
the grow cabinet
zDo not remove parts from the cabinet structure.
This may lead to injury or electrification
zIn case of spillage in and around the grow cabinet, immediately
unplug the cabinet and clean up the spill
PHYSICAL SAFETY CONCERNS
zDo not look directly at the lights
zAt least two people are required to assemble and move
the grow cabinet
zThe grow cabinet must be placed on a level, stable,
and sturdy surface
zSome of the grow cabinet parts may be sharp. Handle with care
zThere is a danger of slipping during cabinet maintenance,
as water may have spilled on the floor.
PROHIBITED USES
zDo not insert objects or equipment into the grow cabinet which have
not been expressly permitted for use by the manufacturer
zDo not install the grow cabinet outside or in a place that receives
direct sunlight.
