Quick-Start Guide

Physical Check
Confirm that there are no broken parts and that the
unit is free of dents or scratches. If you find broken
parts, dents or scratches, notify your Panasonic sales
representative as soon as possible.
Hardware Start-up
Make the following connections to the rear panel of
the P2 Streaming server.
a) Connect a monitor to the VGA (VGA cable not
included.)
b) Connect Keyboard and mouse to USB 2.0 ports.
(Mouse & Keyboard not included)
c) Connect the Ethernet cable from a router to
Ethernet port.
d) Connect power cord.
SDI Video output connections
These connections vary, depending on model. AJ-
SRK001-4CH has 4 HD-SDI outputs.
Software Start-up
P2 Streaming Server comes pre-installed with
Microsoft® Windows® Server 2012 R2 x64 and P2
Streaming Software. When the server is powered on,
windows opens desktop with needed files and shortcuts
P2Cast website shortcut

Activating P2 Streaming Server Software
You must activate registration prior to start using P2SS software. Please follow below steps:
Network Requirements
Routing Requirements:
1. When using P2Cast to enable stream from P2 Camera, P2SS must be connected to Global IP Network. P2SS uses
following local UDP ports when streaming:
local ports: UDP: 50000-50006, 50020-50026, 50040-50046 & 50060-50066
2. P2SS requires access for STUN Server:
•Ensure P2SS can access 104.45.140.135 and 104.45.9.228 IP address.
•Ensure P2SS can access UDP port 3478 & 3479

1. Connect P2SS hardware to the Internet.
2. Run PActivationManager.exe from Activation folder on
desktop.
3. When you start the activation program for the first time,
a screen for registration appears, Enter the Information
in each item, and than click Apply button.
4. Window of the activation program is displayed.
5. Select the Model No SK001 column, and than click the
Activation button.
6. The key code input screen appears, Enter the P2SS
Activation key code that is supplied with the hardware in
the key code input field.
7. Click OK, Software is now activated.
Note: After carefully reading and agreeing with the Software License
Agreement, activate the Software according to the procedure described in the
Software License Agreement. If you activate the Software, you are considered
to have agreed with the terms of the Software License Agreement.

Starting the P2 Streaming Server Web Application
1. Open Google Chrome.
2. Access “http://[IP address of P2SS]/p2ssweb”.
Replace the part “[IP address of P2SS]” with the IP
address of P2SS.
(Example: http://192.168.0.1/p2ssweb)

Open P2 Streaming Server Software by double clicking
shortcut on the desktop
3. The default User ID and Password are as follows:
User ID: Admin
Password: Admin (Case Sensitive)
Adding Source in Local Mode
P2SS allows streaming of Locally available sources via Local
mode of the software. Below instructions will help define a
locally available source.
1. From the P2SS Camera List, Click on Add button to add
a new local source
2. Enter items described below, and than click [OK].
•Type: P2, AW, Other
•P2: P2 Camera
•AW: Panasonic AW PTZ camera
•Other: Other RTSP transmission
•Name: Define Camera Name
•Host Name: IP address of the camera
•Control ID: User ID for control
•Control Password: Password for control
•RTSP Port:
•HTTP Port:
•Protocol: Select RTSP Port
•Description:
Setting IP Address
As a default, P2SS is set to work with DHCP. Please set a Static IP address by
following below steps:
1. Open Network and Sharing Center from Control Panel.
2. Click on “Change adapter settings” on the left pane.
3. Right click on the suitable Local Area Connection to open properties.
4. Select “Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) than click on Properties.
5. Select “Use the following IP address and enter IP address, Subnet Mask
and Default Gateway
6. Select “Use the following DNS Server addresses:” than enter preferred
DNS server & Alternate DNS server if available.
7. Click Ok
8. Close the LAN Area Connection Properties.

Starting a Stream:
1. Drag & Drop the thumbnail of the camera you want to use to the
streaming destination.
2. Wait for the status to read “Enable”
3. Click “Start” to start streaming.

Connecting P2SS with P2Cast Account
In order to use P2Cast for streaming, you must set the
account information of P2Cast in the P2SS account.
1. From the P2SS user list, open the Add screen or Edit
screen for the user who wants to use P2Cast.
2. Enter items described below, and than click [OK].
•Login: (P2SS Username)
•Login Password: (P2SS Password)
•Service Root URL: For USA
https://bulbul.p2cast.net/portal/login
•Service Login: (P2Cast Username)
•Service Login Password: (P2Cast Password)
•User role setting: (Set the role of the user to be registered.)
3. To update the setting, log out from P2SS, and log in again
as the user set as above step.

License Agreement.
If you agree with the Software License Agreement, activate the Software with the key code. For the activation procedure, refer
to the User Guide of this product.
Note that by activating the software with the key code, you are considered to have agreed with the terms of the Software
License Agreement. The Software License Agreement is a legally binding agreement between you and Panasonic (hereinafter
referred to as the Agreement). It is also proof that you have been granted a license to use the Software by Panasonic under the
law.
Article 1 Rights
You can obtain a license to use the Software (which refers to the software that can be activated using the activation key and
the key code packaged with this product), but the patent rights, copyrights, and all other rights belong to Panasonic and third
parties, and will not be transferred to you. You also cannot assign or transfer the license of the Software to a third party.
Article 2 Usage Device
You may use the Software on only one personal computer owned by you. If a personal computer has multiple operating
systems, each operating system is regarded as one personal computer.
Article 3 Communication
The Software may communicate with a server of Panasonic or a third party to check the license status.
By installing the Software, you are considered to have agreed that Panasonic may collect, retain, and use information on the
license of the Software.
Panasonic will not provide information on the license collected from your computer to a third party without your consent.
However, Panasonic does not guarantee to you protection against eavesdropping or wiretapping by a third party.
Article 4 Reverse Engineering, Decompiling or Disassembly
The Software is provided to you as is, and Panasonic makes no express or implied warranties whatsoever with respect to the
Software. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software. Panasonic or any of its distributors or
dealers shall not be bound by warranty for any defects in the Software or damage to you caused by your reverse engineering,
decompiling, or disassembly of the Software.
Article 5 Indemnification
Panasonic or any of its distributors or dealers shall not be liable for any damage suffered by you or claims from a third party,
arising from or in connection with your use of the Software.
Article 6 Handling the Key Code
Please be careful when handling your key code to ensure that your key code is not leaked to a third party. Panasonic or any of
its distributors or dealers shall not be liable for any damage suffered by you or claims from a third party, arising from a leakage
of your key code to a third party.
Article 7 Changes to Specifications
Panasonic may change the information in the specifications and related documents for the Software without prior notice in the
future.
Article 8 Export Control
You shall comply with all laws and regulations related to export control at home and abroad with respect to the Software.
Article 9 Legal System
This document shall be governed by and construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of Japan, without regard to its
conflict of law provisions.
Article 10 Conflict Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or in relation to the Software shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Osaka District Court.
Please note the following.
Panasonic cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from the use or malfunction of this software.
Panasonic cannot be held liable for damages arising from data corruption or loss as a result of using this software.
