Serious, even fatal, damage or injury may be caused by the hot moving
parts of the P1D cylinders in the presence of explosive gas mixtures and
concentrations of dust.
All installation, connection, commissioning, servicing and repair
work on P1D cylinders must be carried out by qualified personnel
taking account of the following
• These instructions
• Markings on the cylinder
• All other planning documents, commissioning instructions and con-
nection diagrams associated with the application.
• Provisions and requirements specic to the application
• National/international regulations (explosion protection, safety and
accident prevention)
Real life applications
P1D cylinders are designed to provide linear movement in industrial
applications, and should only be used in accordance with the in-
structions in the technical specifications in the catalogue, and within
the operating range indicated on the rating plate. The cylinders meet
the applicable standards and requirements of directive 94/9/EC
(ATEX)
The cylinders must not be used underground in mines susceptible to
redamp and/or ammable dusts. The cylinders are intended for use
in areas in which explosive atmospheres caused by gases, vapours
or mists of ammable liquids, or air/dust mixtures may be expected
to occur during normal use (infrequently)
Checklist
Before using the cylinders in an Ex-area, you should check the fol-
lowing:
Do the specications of the P1D-S cylinder match the Ex-classica-
tion of the area of use in accordance with directive 94/9/EC (previ-
ously ATEX 100a)
• Equipment group
• Ex-equipment category
• Ex-zone
• Temperature class
• Max. surface temperature
1. When installing the P1D-S cylinder, is it certain that there is no
potentially explosive atmosphere, oil, acids, gases, vapours or
radiation?
2. Is the ambient temperature as specified in the technical data in the
catalogue at all times?
3. Is it certain that the P1D-S cylinder is adequately ventilated and
that no forbidden additional heat is added?
4. Are all the driven mechanical components ATEX certied?
5. Check that the P1D-S cylinder is safely earthed.
6. Check that the P1D-S cylinder is supplied with compressed air.
Explosive gas mixtures must not be used for driving the cylinder.
7. Check that the P1D-S cylinder is not equipped with a metal
scraper ring (special version).
Installation requirements in Ex-areas
• The temperature of the supply air must not exceed the ambient
temperature.
• The P1D-S cylinder may be installed in any position.
• An air treatment unit must be attached to the inlet of the P1D-S
cylinder.
• The P1D-S cylinder must be connected to earth at all times,
through its support, a metallic tube or separate conductor.
• The outlet of the P1D-S cylinder must not be open within an Ex-
area, but must be connected to the silencer or, preferably, piped
and released outside the Ex-area.
• The P1D-S cylinder may only drive units that are ATEX certied.
• Ensure that the P1D-S cylinder is not exposed to forces greater
than those permitted in accordance with the catalogue
• The P1D-S cylinder must be supplied with compressed air. Explo-
sive gas mixtures must not be used
• P1D-S cylinders with metal scraper rings must not be used in Ex-
areas
Inspecting cylinders during operation
The P1D cylinder must be kept clean on the outside, and a layer of
dust/dirt thicker than 1 mm must never be allowed to form.
Strong solvents should not be used for cleaning, because they can
cause the seal (material PUR) around the piston rod to swell, poten-
tially increasing the temperature. Inspect and verify that the cylinder,
with attachments, compressed air fittings, hoses, tubes, etc. meet the
standards of ”safe” installation.

gases, vapours or mists of combustible liquids and 2D in
zones 21 and 22 where there is a risk involving dusts. 2GD
Means the equipment can be used in zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.

T4 If equipment is in temperature class T4, the maximum
surface temperature must not exceed 135 °C. (To guarantee
this, the product has been tested to ensure that the maximum
is 130 °C. This provides a safety margin of 5 °K.)

• Installation, connection and commissioning must be carried out

Applications
• This sensor is designed for use in the T-groove of cylinders, and
detects the magnetic eld in potentially explosive areas. The
sensor can only be installed in the T-groove of these cylinders.
• The sensor may also be installed on round cylinders by means of
the following attachments:
P8S-TMC01 Suitable for P1S and P1A diameter 10 - 25 mm
P8S-TMC02 Suitable for P1S diameter 32 - 63 mm
P8S-TMC03 Suitable for P1S diameter 80 - 125 mm
The following data applies to these attachments:

- Low energy absorption to EN 50 021
• The sensor may also be installed on tie-rod cylinders or prole
cylinders by means of this attachment:
P8S-TMA0X Suitable for P1D-T diameter 32 - 125 mm, P1E-T

Installation
General: The sensor must be protected from UV radiation. The cable
must be installed such that it is protected from external inuences,
for example it may be necessary to attach an external strain relief to
the cable.

Commissioning
When connecting the sensor to a power source, please pay attention
to the following

Maintenance
Our P8S-GPFLX/EX cylinder sensor is maintenance free, but the
cable connections should be checked at regular intervals.
The sensor must be protected from UV radiation. The sensor must be
kept clean on the outside, and a layer of dirt thicker than 1 mm must
never be allowed to form. Strong solvents should not be used for
cleaning as they may damage the sensor.

Components
Parker Hannin guarantees that our cylinder attachments, tube
ttings, tubes, etc. are not subject to the provisions of the ATEX
directive.
A component means any item essential to the safe functioning of
equipment and protective systems but with no autonomous function.
Components intended for incorporation into equipment or protec-
tive systems which are accompanied by an attestation of conformity
with the ATEX directive, including a statement of their characteristics
and how they must be incorporated into products, are considered
to conform to the applicable provisions of directive 94/9/EC. Ex-
components as dened in the European standard EN 50014 are
components in the sense of the ATEX directive 94/9/EC as well.
Components must not have the CE marking afxed unless otherwise
required by other directives.

Les mélanges gazeux explosifs ou les concentrations de poussières asso-
ciés aux pièces chaudes et mobiles des vérins P1D peuvent provoquer des
incidents graves voire fatals.
L’installation, le branchement et la mise en service, de même que
les travaux d’entretien et de réparation sur les vérins P1D, doivent
être exécutés par du personnel spécialisé en tenant compte de ce
qui suit :
• Les présentes consignes
• Les inscriptions sur le vérin
• Toutes les autres pièces d’aide à l’élaboration des projets,
instructions de mise en service et schémas de raccordement se
rapportant à l’application.
• Les consignes et exigences propres à l’application
• Les directives nationales et internationales en vigueur (Protection
contre les explosions, sécurité et prévention des accidents)
Applications à utilisation définie
Les vérins P1D-S sont conçus pour créer un mouvement linéaire
dans le cadre d’activités industrielles et ne doivent être utilisés qu’en
accord avec les caractéristiques techniques qui gurent dans le
catalogue et dans les limites indiquées sur la plaque signalétique du
produit. Le vérin est conforme aux normes en vigueur ainsi qu’aux
prescriptions de la directive « Machines » 94/9/CE. (ATEX)
Ne jamais utiliser les moteurs dans les mines souterraines où l’on
rencontre du grisou et/ou des poussières combustibles. Les moteurs
sont destinés à être utilisés dans un milieu où l’on peut s’attendre à
trouver, dans des conditions normales d’utilisation (irrégulière), un
mélange d’air et de gaz, de vapeurs ou de brouillards de liquides
combustibles.
Check-list
Préalablement à la mise en service en milieu explosif, il faut procéder
à la vérication des points suivants :

la classication d’explosivité de la zone d’intervention établie selon la
directive 94/9/CE (anciennement ATEX 100a) ?

1. A-t-il été établi avec certitude à l’installation du vérin P1D-S qu’il
n’y a pas d’atmosphère explosive, d’huile, d’acides, de gaz, de
vapeurs ou de rayonnement ?
2. La température ambiante est-elle dans les limites précisées dans
le catalogue ?
3. A-t-il été établi avec certitude que le vérin P1D-S est disposé de
façon à être sufsamment ventilé et qu’il n’y a pas d’apport de
chaleur supplémentaire non autorisée ?
4. L’ensemble des pièces mécaniques entraînées sont-elles certi-
ées ATEX ?
5. Vérier que le vérin P1D-S est relié à une masse sûre.
6. Vérier que le vérin P1D-S est alimenté en air comprimé. Les
mélanges explosifs de gaz sont proscrits pour entraîner le vérin.
7. Vérier que le vérin P1D-S n’est pas équipé d’un joint racleur
métallique. (version spéciale)
Conditions d’installation en atmosphère explosible
• La température de l’air d’alimentation ne doit pas dépasser la
température ambiante.
• Le vérin P1D-S peut être installé dans n’importe quelle position.
• Une unité de traitement d’air doit être utilisée en amont de l’ad-
mission du vérin P1D-S.
• Le vérin P1D-S doit toujours être relié à la terre, soit par un bâti,
soit par un tuyau exible métallique, soit par un conduit séparé.
• La sortie d’air du vérin P1D-S ne doit pas communiquer directe-
ment avec une atmosphère explosible. Elle doit être pourvue d’un
silencieux ou de préférence être reliée par un tube à l’extérieur de
la zone contenant une atmosphère explosible.
• Le vérin P1D-S ne doit entraîner que des unités certiées ATEX.
• Il doit être établi avec certitude que le vérin P1D-S n’est pas sou-
mis à des forces supérieures à celles permises indiquées dans le
catalogue.
• Le vérin P1D-S doit être est alimenté en air comprimé. Les mélan-
ges gazeux explosifs sont proscrits.
• Ne pas faire fonctionner un vérin P1D-S avec joint racleur métalli-
que en atmosphère explosible
Contrôle du vérin en cours de fonctionnement
Le vérin P1D doit être gardé propre à l’extérieur et ne doit pas avoir
une couche de saleté/poussière qui dépasse 5 mm.
En nettoyant, ne pas utiliser de solvants forts car ils risquent de faire
goner le joint (matériau PUR) autour de l’arbre de sortie et provo-
quer une élévation de température. Vérier et s’assurer que le vérin
ainsi que les xations, raccords d’air comprimé, exibles, tuyaux,
etc. remplissent les conditions d’une installation « sûre ».

Champ d’utilisation
• Prévu pour être utilisé avec des vérins avec rainure en T dans les
zones contenant des atmosphères explosibles, ce capteur dé-
tecte le champ magnétique. Dans le cas de ces vérins, le capteur
doit obligatoirement être installé dans les rainures en T.
• Le capteur peut aussi être installé sur des vérins cylindriques au
moyen des accessoires de xation suivants :
P8S-TMC01 Pour les vérins P1S et P1A ayant un diamètre de 10
à 25 mm
P8S-TMC02 Pour les vérins P1S ayant un diamètre de 32 à 63
mm

Montage
Remarque générale : Le capteur doit être protégé des rayons UV. Le
câble doit être posé de manière à être protégé contre les effets exté-
rieurs. Il sera peut-être nécessaire de monter un dispositif extérieur
anti-arrachage pour le câble.

Mise en service
En mettant le capteur sous tension, il faut prendre en considération

Entretien
Le capteur P8S-GPFLX/EX ne nécessite pas d’entretien. Cependant,
il convient de contrôler régulièrement l’état de connexion du câble.
Le capteur doit être protégé des rayons UV. Il doit être gardé propre
à l’extérieur. Eviter de laisser former une couche de saleté de plus de
1 mm. En nettoyant, ne pas employer de solvants forts car ils risque-
raient d’endommager le capteur.

Composants
Parker Hannin garantit que ses accessoires de xation pour vérin,
raccords de tube, tubes, etc. n’entrent pas dans le champ d’applica-
tion de la directive ATEX.
Sont appelés « composants » les pièces qui sont essentielles au
fonctionnement sûr des appareils et des systèmes de protection
mais qui n’ont pas de fonction autonome.
Les composants destinés à être incorporés dans des appareils ou
des systèmes de protection, qui sont accompagnés d’une attestation
de conformité indiquant leurs caractéristiques et précisant la manière
dont ils doivent être incorporés dans les produits (comme prévu à
l’article 8, paragraphe 3), sont considérés conformes aux disposi-
tions de la directive 94/9/CE qui leur sont applicables. Les compo-
sants dénis dans la norme européenne EN 50014 sont également
des composants au sens de la directive 94/9/CE. Les composants
ne doivent pas porter le marquage CE, à moins qu’il n’en soit prescrit
autrement par une autre directive.

Explosionsgefährliche Gasmischungen oder Staubkonzentrationen in
Verbindung mit warmen beweglichen Teilen der P1D-Zylinder können zu
schweren oder tödlichen Verletzungen führen.
Montage, Anschluss, Inbetriebnahme sowie Wartungs- und Repara-
turarbeiten an den P1D-Zylindern sind stets von geschulten Fach-
kräften auszuführen. Dabei sind zu beachten:
• Diese Sicherheitsvorschrift
• Die Kennzeichnung des Zylinders
• Alle anderen Planungsunterlagen, Inbetriebnahme-Vorschriften
und Anschlusspläne der jeweiligen Anwendung
• Anwendungsspezische Bestimmungen und Anforderungen
• Geltende nationale/internationale Vorschriften (Explosionsschutz,
Sicherheit, Unfallvorbeugung)
Anwendungszwecke
P1D-S-Zylinder sind für die Erzeugung einer Linearbewegung in in-
dustriellen Anwendungen vorgesehen und dürfen nur gemäß den An-
gaben der in diesem Katalog abgedruckten technischen Daten und
in Umgebungen, die auf dem Typenschild des Produkts angegeben
sind, eingesetzt werden. Der Zylinder erfüllt die geltenden Normen
und Vorschriften der Maschinenrichtlinie 94/9/EG (ATEX).
Die Zylinder dürfen nicht unter Tage in Bergwerken eingesetzt wer-
den, in denen Grubengas und/oder entzündbarer Staub vorkommt.
Die Zylinder sind für die Anwendung in einem Bereich vorgesehen,
in dem bei normaler Anwendung (unregelmäßig) Gemische von Luft
und Gasen, Dämpfen oder Nebeln aus brennbaren Flüssigkeiten,
oder aber Staub/Luft-Gemische vorkommen können.
Checkliste
Vor Inbetriebnahme in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen sind folgen-
de Punkte zu kontrollieren:
Stimmen die Angaben auf dem P1D-S-Zylinder mit der Zündge-
fahrenbewertung für den Einsatzbereich überein, die gemäß der
Explosionsschutzrichtlinie 94/9/EG (frühere ATEX 100a) durchgeführt
wurde.

IInstallationsanforderungen in Ex-Bereichen
• Die Temperatur der Druckluft darf die Umgebungstemperatur
nicht überschreiten.
• Der P1D-S-Zylinder lässt sich in beliebiger Position einbauen.
• Eine Luftaufbereitungseinheit muss am Versorgungsanschluss
des Zylinders P1D-S verwendet werden.
• Der P1D-S-Zylinder muss immer über das Gestell, einen metalli-
schen Schlauch oder eine separate Leitung geerdet sein.
• Der Luftauslass des P1D-S-Zylinders darf innerhalb von Ex-Berei-
chen nicht offen, sondern muss an einen Schalldämpfer ange-
schlossen sein. Noch besser ist, die Abluft aus dem Ex-Bereich
abzuleiten und außerhalb entweichen zu lassen.
• Der P1D-S-Zylinder darf nur ATEX-zertizierte Einheiten antreiben.
• Es ist sicherzustellen, dass der P1D-S-Zylinder keinen höheren
Kräften ausgesetzt wird, als in diesem Katalog als zulässig ange-
geben ist.
• Der P1D-S-Zylinder ist mit Druckluft zu versorgen. Explosionsfähi-
ge Gasgemische dürfen nicht verwendet werden.
• P1D-S-Zylinder mit Abstreifring aus Metall dürfen in Ex-Bereichen
nicht angewandt werden.
Kontrolle des Zylinders während des Betriebs
Die Außenseite des P1D-Zylinders muss sauber gehalten werden
und darf von keiner Staub-/Schmutzschicht überzogen sein, die
stärker als 5 mm ist.
Für die Reinigung dürfen keine scharfen Lösungsmittel verwendet
werden, da diese die Kolbenstangendichtungen (Werkstoff PUR)
schwellen lassen können, was zu einem Temperaturanstieg führen
kann. Kontrollieren und sicherstellen, dass der Zylinder einschließlich
Befestigungselementen, Druckluftanschlüssen, Schläuchen, Rohren
usw. eine „sichere“ Installation darstellt.

Zusätzliche Sicherheitsvorschriften für die Installati-
on des Sensors P8S- GPFLX/EX in Ex-Bereichen
Explosionsgefährliche Gasgemische oder Staubkonzentrationen in Verbin-
dung mit warmen beweglichen Teilen der P1D-Zylinder können zu schweren
oder tödlichen Verletzungen führen.
Anwendungsanleitung
Sicherheitshinweise
• Zylindersensor, ATEX-zugelassen für die Kategorien II3G und II3D

Anwendungsbereich
• Dieser Sensor wird in die T-Nut an Zylindern montiert und soll in
explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen das Magnetfeld messen. An
diesen Zylindern darf der Sensor ausschließlich in die T-Nut mon-
tiert werden.
• Der Sensor lässt sich mit Hilfe folgender Befestigungen auch an
Rundzylinder montieren:
P8S-TMC01 passend für P1S und P1A mit Ø 10 - 25 mm

Montage
Allgemein: Der Sensor ist vor UV-Strahlung zu schützen. Das Kabel
so montieren, dass es vor äußeren Einwirkungen geschützt ist. So
kann z.B. der Anbau einer äußeren Zugentlastung erforderlich sein.

Sensors muss sauber gehalten werden. Eine Schmutzschicht von
mehr als 1 mm ist zu vermeiden. Zur Reinigung keine starken Lö-
sungsmittel verwenden. Diese können den Sensor beschädigen.

Mit Komponente ist jede Einheit gemeint, die für die sichere Funktion
des Geräts oder der Schutzausrüstung von wesentlicher Bedeutung

Installazione, collegamento, messa in funzione, assistenza e ripara-
zione del cilindro P1D devono essere eseguiti da personale specia-
lizzato in conformità a quanto segue:
• Presente documentazione
• Marcatura del cilindro
• Altra documentazione relativa a progettazione, istruzioni per la
messa in funzione e schemi di collegamento dell’applicazione
• Norme e requisiti specici per l’applicazione
• Norme nazionali e internazionali vigenti (protezione dalle esplosio-
ni, sicurezza e prevenzione degli infortuni)
Applicazioni a uso limitato
Il cilindro P1D-S è progettato per creare un movimento lineare in
ambito industriale e deve essere utilizzato esclusivamente nel rispet-
to delle indicazioni fornite dalle speciche tecniche del catalogo e
nell’ambiente indicato sulla targhetta del prodotto. Il cilindro soddisfa
le norme vigenti e le disposizioni della direttiva macchine 94/9/CE
(ATEX).
È vietato utilizzare i cilindri sotto terra in miniere in presenza di grisou
e/o polveri inammabili. I cilindri sono progettati per l’utilizzo in
ambienti in cui è prevista la presenza di una miscela di aria e gas,
vapori o nebbia di liquidi inammabili o una miscela di polveri/aria
durante il normale utilizzo (saltuaria).

Requisiti di installazione in ambienti Ex
• La temperatura dell’aria in entrata non deve superare la tempera-
tura ambiente.
• Il cilindro P1D-S può essere installato in qualsiasi posizione.
• È richiesto un gruppo FR sull’entrata del cilindro P1D-S.
• Il cilindro P1D-S deve essere sempre collegato a massa tramite
un supporto, un essibile metallico o una condotta separata.
• Lo scarico del cilindro P1D-S non deve essere aperto all’interno
degli ambienti Ex. Deve essere collegato al silenziatore o, preferi-
bilmente, convogliato all’esterno degli ambienti Ex.
• Il cilindro P1D-S deve azionare solamente unità con certicazione
ATEX.
• Deve essere accertato che il cilindro P1D-S non è soggetto a
forze superiori a quelle consentite secondo il catalogo.
• Il cilindro P1D-S deve essere alimentato con aria compressa. Non
utilizzare miscele di gas esplosive.
• Non utilizzare il cilindro P1D-S con raschiaolio metallico all’interno
degli ambienti Ex.
Controllo del cilindro durante l’esercizio
L’esterno del cilindro P1D deve essere mantenuto pulito. Evitare strati
di polvere/sporcizia superiori a 5 mm.
Per la pulizia, non utilizzare solventi forti che potrebbero fare rigon-
are la tenuta (in PUR) attorno allo stelo del pistone e provocare un
aumento di temperatura. Controllare che il cilindro e i relativi attacchi,
raccordi per il collegamento dell’aria compressa, essibili, tubi ecc.
siano installati correttamente.

Istruzioni per l’uso
Norme di sicurezza

Applicazioni
• Questo sensore viene installato nella scanalatura a T dei cilindri
per rilevare il campo magnetico in ambienti esplosivi. Su questi
cilindri il sensore deve essere installato esclusivamente nella
scanalatura a T.
• Il sensore può anche essere installato su cilindri rotondi per mez-
zo degli appositi attacchi:
P8S-TMC01 per l’installazione su P1S e P1A con diametro 10-25
mm;
P8S-TMC02 per l’installazione su P1S con diametro 32-63 mm;
P8S-TMC03 per l’installazione su P1S con diametro 80-125 mm.

Installazione
Generalità: Il sensore deve essere protetto dai raggi UV. Il cavo deve
essere installato in posizione protetta, ad es. applicando un pressa-
cavo.

Aplicaciones para uso específico
Los cilindros P1D-S están destinados a crear un movimiento lineal en
una aplicación industrial y sólo se deben utilizar según las indica-
ciones en la especicación técnica del catálogo y dentro del área
marcada en la etiqueta del producto. Los cilindros cumplen con las
normas y especificaciones vigentes de la directiva de máquinas
94/9/EG (ATEX).
Los cilindros no se pueden utilizar bajo tierra en minas donde haya
grisú y/o polvo combustible. Los cilindros están destinados al uso en
un área en que haya una mezcla denida de aire y gases, vapores
o niebla de líquidos o polvos inamables o donde se espera haya
mezclas de polvo/aire durante el uso normal (irregular).

3. ¿Es seguro que el cilindro P1D-S ha sido colocado para que
tenga ventilación suciente y que no haya adición secundaria de
calor?
4. ¿Tienen todas las partes mecánicas móviles certicación ATEX?
5. Controlar que el cilindro P1D-S esté correctamente conectado a
tierra.
6. Controlar que el cilindro P1D-S tenga alimentación de aire
comprimido. No se deben utilizar mezclas de gases para hacer
funcionar el cilindro.

• La temperatura del aire de alimentación no debe exceder la tem-

• Un cilindro P1D-S se puede instalar en cualquier posición.
• En la boca de admisión del cilindro P1D-S se debe utilizar una
unidad de preparación de aire.
• Un cilindro P1D-S debe estar siempre conectado a tierra median-
te su soporte, una manguera metálica o una conexión separada.
• La salida de un cilindro P1D-S no debe ser libre dentro del área
explosiva, sino que debe estar conectada con silenciadores o
transportada hasta fuera del área explosiva.
• Los cilindros P1D-S solamente deben trabajar con unidades con
la certicación ATEX.
• Se debe garantizar que el cilindro P1D-S no sea expuesto a fuer-
zas superiores a las indicadas en el catálogo.
• El cilindro P1D-S debe ser alimentado con aire comprimido. No
se deben utilizar mezclas de gases explosivas.
• Los cilindros P1D-S con rascador metálico no se deben utilizar en
áreas explosivas.
Control del cilindro durante el funcionamiento
El cilindro P1D se debe mantener limpio y no debe tener nunca una
capa de polvo suciedad de más de 5 mm.
Al limpiarlo no se deben utilizar agentes limpiadores fuertes ya
que las juntas (material PUR) del eje vástago se pueden expandir
originando un aumento de la temperatura. Controlar y garantizar
que el cilindro con sus sujeciones, racores para la conexión al aire
presurizado, mangueras, tuberías, mm. cumple con los requisitos de
una instalación ”segura”.

sensores P8S- GPFLX/Ex en entornos explosivos
Concentraciones de gases o polvos explosivos junto con partes calientes
de los cilindros P1D pueden causar accidentes graves y mortales.
Instrucciones de uso
Instrucciones de seguridad
• Sensor de cilindro ATEX, clasicado en las categorías II3G y II3D
• Temperatura ambiente Ta = -20 °C a +45 °C
• Clase de temperatura T4, o temperatura máxima de supercie T
= 135 °C
• Clase de protección IP67
• Leer las instrucciones de instalación antes de usar
• El montaje, la conexión y la puesta en funcionamiento deber
hacerlo personal especializado.
Campos de uso
• Sensor para el uso en la ranura T de los cilindros, para detectar
el campo magnético en entornos explosivos. En estos cilindros el
sensor sólo se puede montar en la ranura T.
• El sensor también se puede montar en cilindros esféricos usando
los siguientes soportes:
P8S-TMC01 para el P1S y P1A con diámetro 10 - 25 mm
P8S-TMC02 para el P1S con diámetro 32 -63 mm
P8S-TMC03 para el P1S con diámetro 80 -125 mm
Para estos soportes rige:
- Temperatura ambiente Ta = 0 °C a 45 °C
- Bajo nivel de absorción de energía según EN 50 021
• El sensor también se puede montar en cilindros con varillas o
perfiles con los soportes:
P8S-TMA0X para el P1D-T diámetro 32 –125 mm, P1E-T diámetro
160 – 200 mm y C41 diámetro 160 – 200 mm
Montaje
Generalidades: El sensor debe ser protegido contra las radiaciones
UV. El cable debe ser montado protegiéndolo de los efectos exter-
nos, p. ej. puede ser necesario montar un soporte externo del cable.

Mantenimiento
Nuestro cilindro P8S-GPFLX/EX no requiere mantenimiento, pero la
conexión del cable debe ser controlada regularmente.
El sensor debe ser protegido contra las radiaciones UV. El exterior
del sensor se debe mantener limpio y se debe evitar una capa de
suciedad de más de 1 mm. No usar agentes limpiadores fuertes, el
sensor se puede dañar.

Componentes como guarniciones para cilindros, ra-
cores, tubos, mm
Componentes
Parker Hannin garantiza que nuestras guarniciones para cilindros,
racores, tubos, etc. no están comprendidos en la directiva ATEX.
Componente es toda unidad de importancia para que el equipo
o la protección funciones de manera segura pero que no tiene un
funcionamiento propio.
Los componentes para ser instalados en equipos o sistemas de
seguridad y que llevan una conrmación de cumplimiento de la
directiva ATEX, incluida la declaración de las cualidades de los
componentes y de cómo deben ser instalados en los productos, se
considera cumplen las regulaciones aplicables de la directiva 94/9/
EG. Los componentes para entornos explosivos (componentes Ex)
así como quedan denidos en la Norma Europea Ss-EN50014, son
también componentes en el sentido indicado en la directiva ATEX
94/9/EG, estos componentes no pueden llevar la marca CE salvo
que ello sea requerido por otra directiva.

Explosionsfarliga gasblandningar eller dammkoncentrationer tillsammans
med varma och rörliga delar på P1D cylindrarna kan orsaka svåra eller
dödliga skador.
Montage, anslutning, idrifttagande, såväl som service och repara-
tionsarbete på P1D cylindrarna måste genomföras av fackpersonal
med hänsyn till följande:
• Denna anvisning
• Märkning på cylindern
• Alla andra till applikationen hörande projekteringsunderlag,
instruktioner för idrifttagande och anslutningsschema.
• Applikationsspecika bestämmelser och fordringar
• Nationella/internationella föreskrifter som gäller (Explosionsskydd,
säkerhet och förebyggande av olycksfall)
Användningsbestämda applikationer
P1D-S cylindrar är avsedda för att skapa en linjär rörelse inom indu-
striverksamhet och får bara användas enligt angivelser i den tekniska
specikationen i katalogen och i område som anges på produktskylt.
Cylindern uppfyller de gällande normerna och föreskrifterna i maskin-
direktivet 94/9/EG (ATEX)
Cylindrarna får ej användas under jord i gruvor där gruvgas och/el-
ler brännbart damm förekommer. Cylindrarna är bestämda att
användas inom ett område där en blandning av luft och gaser, ånga
eller dimma av brännbara vätskor eller damm/luft blandning väntas
förekomma vid normal användning (oregelbundet)

Innan idrifttagande i Ex-område måste följande kontrolleras:
Stämmer angivelserna på P1D-S cylindern överens med Ex-klass-
ningen för insatsområdet som gjorts enligt riktlinjen 94/9/EG (tidigare
ATEX 100a)

• Ex-utrustningskategori
• Ex-zon
• Temperaturklass
• Max yttemperatur
1. Är det säkerställt vid montering av P1D-S cylindern att ingen
explosionsfarlig atmosfär, olja, syror, gaser, ånga eller strålning
finns?
2. Är alltid omgivningstemperaturen inom de angivna tekniska data
som finns i katalog?
3. Är det säkerställt att P1D-S cylindern är placerad så att den är
tillräckligt ventilerad och att inget otillåtet extra värmetillskott före-
kommer?
4. Har samtliga drivna mekaniska delarna en ATEX certiering?
5. Kontrollera att P1D-S cylindern är säkert jordad.
6. Kontrollera att P1D-S cylindern försörjs med tryckluft. Explosiva
gasblandningar får ej användas för drivning av cylindern.
7. Kontrollera att P1D-S cylindern inte är utrustad med metallskra-
pring (specialversion).
Installationskrav inom Ex-område
• Temperaturen på matningsluften får ej överskrida omgivningens
temperatur.
• P1D- S cylindern kan byggas in i valfri position.
• En luftberedningsenhet måste användas på tilloppet till cylinder
P1D-S.
• P1D-S cylindern skall alltid vara ansluten till jord antingen via
stativ eller metallisk slang eller separat ledning.
• Avloppet från P1D-S cylindern får ej vara öppet inom Ex-område,
de skall vara anslutna med ljuddämpare eller helst ledas bort och
släppas ut utanför Ex-området.
• P1D-S cylindern får bara driva enheter som är ATEX certierade.
• Det måste säkerställas att P1D-S cylindern ej utsätts för större
krafter än vad som tillåts enligt katalog
• P1D-S cylindern måste matas med tryckluft. Explosiva gasbland-
ningar får ej användas
• P1D-S cylinder med metallskrapring får ej användas inom Ex
område
Kontroll av cylinder under drift
P1D cylinder måste hållas ren på utsidan och den får ej ha ett damm/
smutsskikt på mer än 5 mm .
Vid rengöring bör ej skarpa lösningsmedel användas då de kan
få tätningen (material PUR) runt kolvstången att svälla vilket kan
medföra en temperaturökning. Kontrollera och säkerställ att cylindern
med fästen, kopplingar för anslutning av tryckluft, slang, rör mm
uppfyller ”säker” installation.

Underhåll

explosive atmosphere Ex II 2 GD c T4 (T120°C).
