SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
PNEUMATIC TOOLS
PLEASE READ THROUGH
THE OPERATING INSTRUC-
TIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USE.
THESE FORM PART OF THE
PRODUCT AND MUST BE AVAILABLE
AT ALL TIMES!
When pneumatic tools are used,
basic safety precautions must be
taken in order to avoid the risk
of fire, electric shock or personal
injury.
Before first using the product,
please ensure you read and follow
these operating instructions
in full
and keep them in a safe place. The
manufacturer accepts no liability for
losses, damage or personal injury
caused by a failure to follow these
operating instructions.
The dangers stated are foreseeable
when using handheld pneumatic
tools for general-purpose work.
However, users must themselves
consider the risks that can occur
when using the equipment for a
specific application.
DANGER OF INJURY!
Switch off the compressed air supply
before changing tools
and settings or
performing maintenance.
EXPLOSION HAZARD!
Never use petrol or other
flammable
liquids to clean the
pneumatic device!
Residual fumes
in the pneumatic device could be
ignited by sparks and cause the
pneumatic device to explode.Do
not work with the device in explo-
sion hazard areas where combus-
tible liquids, gases or dusts are

GB/IE/NI8
Safety instructions for pneumatic tools
present.Never work on materials
which are or could potentially be
highly flammable or explosive.
Only use the pneumatic cleaning
gun in well-ventilated areas.
For multiple hazards, please
ensure you have read and
understood the safety instruc-
tions before installing, operating,
repairing, maintaining or
replacing accessory parts, and
before working in the vicinity
of the pneumatic cleaning gun.
Failure to do so can result in
serious bodily injury.
Only qualified and trained
operators should set up, adjust
or use the pneumatic cleaning
gun.Do not modify the pneumatic
cleaning gun.
Modifications
can
reduce the effectiveness of
safety
mechanisms and increase
the
level of risk for the operator.
Do not discard the safety
instructions – give them to the
person operating the device.
Never use the pneumatic
cleaning gun if it is damaged.
The device must be regularly
maintained, so as to verify that
the required introduction/safety
instructions for pneumatic tools,
rated values and markings such
as rated speed or nominal air
pressure are affixed legibly to the
device. The user must contact the
manufacturer to request replace-
ment labels or markings if this is
required.
Always use the device for the
specific applications for which it
has been designed!
Always operate the pneumatic
cleaning gun within the stated
pressure range (max. 6.2 bar).
Never connect the pneumatic
device to a compressed air hose
whose pressure is greater than
6.2 bar.
Never use hydrogen, oxygen,
carbon dioxide or any other bot-
tled gas as the source of energy
for this tool, since this may cause
an explosion and lead to serious
injury.
Maintain and clean the device
regularly as specified (see sec-
tion ‘Care and cleaning’).
Before setup or first use, check
the device for any damage.
Before use, always ensure that
the device is in perfect working
order.
Stay focused while working!
Unexpected movements of the
device can be hazardous.
Do not use any device if its
switches are faulty. A device that
can no longer be switched on
oroff is dangerous and must be

GB/IE/NI 9
Safety instructions for pneumatic tools
repaired.
When not in use, keep pneu-
matic devices out of the reach of
children. Do not let anyone use
the device if they are not famil-
iar with its use or have not read
these instructions. Pneumatic tools
are dangerous when they are
used by inexperienced persons.
Ensure the device is cared for
properly. Check that the device’s
moving parts are in perfect work-
ing order and are not stuck or
jammed. Check that parts are not
broken or damaged in a way that
stops the device from working
properly. Ensure that damaged
parts have been repaired before
using the device.Many accidents
are caused by devices that have
not been properly maintained.
Wear personal protective equip-
ment and safety goggles at all
times. Depending on the type
of pneumatic tool and how it is
used, wearing personal protec-
tive equipment such as a dust
mask, non-slip safety shoes, a
hard hat and hearing protection
can lessen the risk of injuries.
Check all connections and sup-
ply lines. The specifications of
maintenance units, couplings and
hoses must match the rated values
for the device in terms of pressure
and airflow rate. The device will
not work properly if the pressure
is too low, while excessive pres-
sure can cause damage and inju-
ries.
Ensure hoses cannot become
kinked or crushed, and keep
them away from solvents and
sharp edges. Also keep hoses
away from heat, oil and rotating
parts.
Ensure that hose clamps are
always properly tightened. Loose
or damaged hose clamps can
allow air to escape from the
device accidentally.
Always replace damaged hoses
as soon as possible. Defects in
compressed air supply lines can
cause air hoses to whip around
uncontrollably and this can lead
to injuries.
If the power cable for this device
becomes damaged, ensure that
the cable is replaced by the man-
ufacturer, a customer service tech-
nician or other qualified person
to avoid any possible hazards.
Do not use the device if you are
tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medicines. A
brief moment of carelessness
when using the device can result
in serious injuries.
TAKE CARE WHEN SET-

GB/IE/NI10
TING DOWN THE DEVICE!
Never set the device down so
that it ends up lying on the
trigger. In the worst case, this
could cause the device to switch
itself back on accidentally, which
could result in a dangerous
situation.
The compressed air source must
have a filter and regulator. Dust,
corrosive fumes and/or moisture
can result in damage to the motor
in a pneumatic tool.
The tool and intake hose must be
fitted with a hose coupling, so as
to ensure that pressure is com-
pletely discharged when the cou-
pling hose is disconnected.
DANGER! Avoid contact
with a supply line that is carrying
live current. This device provides
no insulation against electric
shock.
DANGER OF INJURY!
High working pressures can
produce powerful recoil forces
that can in some circumstances
create hazards due to continuous
stress and strain.
If you do not have experience
with using the device, you should
seek training to ensure you can
use it safely.
DANGER! Keep hands and
other parts of the body away from
rotating parts Otherwise there is a
risk of injury.
TAKE PUNCTURE INJU-
RIES SERIOUSLY!
Do not treat an injury from a jet as
a harmless cut. A high-pressure jet
can ‘inject’ poisons into the body,
which can result in serious inju-
ries. Accordingly, seek immediate
medical attention for any skin
injury caused by a jet.
The pneumatic device must not be
modified in any way without the
manufacturer’s permission.
Always disconnect the pneumatic
device from the air supply after
use and when the device is not in
use.
Never use any pneumatic device
if it is not air-tight or is waiting to
be repaired.
Ensure that your work area is
clean and well illuminated. Untidi-
ness and poorly lit work areas can
cause accidents to happen. This
makes it easier for you to control
the pneumatic device – especially
if something unexpected happens.
Ensure that device repairs
always use original replacement
parts and are performed by a
qualified technician. This ensures
that the device is safe to operate
at all times.
Keep children and other persons
Safety instructions for pneumatic tools

GB/IE/NI 11
out of the work area while the
device is being used. If you are
distracted, you could lose control
of the device.
Wear appropriate clothing. Do
not wear loose clothing or jew-
ellery. Keep hair, clothing and
gloves away from moving parts.
Loose clothing, jewellery or long
hair could become trapped inside
moving parts.
Always ensure that hoses and pip-
ing are regularly drained of con-
densate (water) before and after
using the pneumatic device. The
best solution here is to use a con-
densate separator.
A compressed air system that
is not powerful enough can make
your device less efficient.
Never point the pneumatic device
at yourself, other people or ani-
mals. Water is ejected from the
device at high pressure and high
speed. This can be extremely dan-
gerous.
SPECIFIC SAFETY

med jævne mellemrum for at
kontrollere, at alle krævede
instruktioner / sikkerhedshenvis-
ninger vedrørende trykluftredska-
ber, dimensioneringsværdier
og mærkninger som f. eks.
dimensioneringsomdrejningstal
eller nominelt lufttryk står læseligt
på udstyret. Brugeren skal
henvende sig til fabrikanten for
at få nye skilte til mærkning,
når dette er nødvendigt.
Brug apparatet kun til de anven-
delsesområder, som det er blevet
konstrueret til!
Trykluft-rensepistolen må kun
bruges med det foreskrevne tryk
(maks. 6,2 bar).
Forbind aldrig trykluftapparatet
med en trykluftslange, der har et
tryk på mere end 6,2 bar.
Anvend aldrig brint, ilt, kuldioxid
eller andre gasser på flaske som
energikilde til dette værktøj, fordi
dette kan føre til en eksplosion og
således til alvorlige kvæstelser.
Vedligehold og rens apparatet re-
gelmæssigt som foreskrevet (se ka-
pitel „Rensning og pleje“).
Kontroller apparatet for even-
tuelle skader, inden det tages i
brug. Kontroller før hver brug, at
apparatet er i upåklagelig stand.
Vær altid opmærksom! Uvent-
ede bevægelser af apparatet kan
bevirke farer.
Undgå en unormal kropshold-
ning. Sørg for sikkert fæste og
hold altid ligevægten. Så er du
bedre i stand til at kontrollere

Sikkerhedshenvisninger til trykluftredskaber
trykluftapparatet i uventede situa-
tioner.
Brug ikke noget apparat, hvor
afbryderen er defekt. Et appa-
rat, som ikke længere kan
tændes
eller slukkes, er farligt og skal re-
pareres.
Opbevar trykluftapparater, som
ikke bruges, uden for børns ræk-
kevidde. Lad ikke personer, som
ikke har kendskab til apparatet
eller som ikke har læst denne
vejledning, anvende apparatet.
Trykluftapparater er farlige, når
de anvendes af uerfarne person-
er.
Vedligehold apparatet med omhu.
Kontroller,
om bevægelige dele
fungerer fejlfrit og om de måske
sidder fast. Undersøg, om dele
er knækkede eller beskadigede
på en sådan måde, at appa-
ratets funktion er påvirket. Få
beskadigede dele repareret, før
apparatet benyttes. Dårligt ved-
ligeholdte apparater er årsag for
mange uheld.
Sluk for apparatet, når du ikke
længere har brug for det.
Bær personligt sikkerhedsud-
styr og altid beskyttelsesbriller.
Risikoen for kvæstelser forringes
ved at bære personligt sikkerhed-
sudstyr som støvmaske, skridsikre
sikkerhedssko, beskyttelseshjelm
eller høreværn, alt efter trykluft-
værktøjets type og anvendelse.
Kontroller tilslutningerne og
forsyningsledningerne. Alle ved-
ligeholdelsesenheder, koblinger
og slanger skal med hensyn til
tryk og luftmængde være dimen-
sionerede i henhold til apparatets
karakteristiske værdier. For lavt
tryk påvirker apparatets funktion
negativt; for højt tryk kan med-
føre materielle skader og kvæs-
telser.
Beskyt slangerne imod at blive
knækket eller indsnævret og
ligeledes imod opløsningsmidler
og skarpe kanter. Hold slangerne
på afstand fra stor varme, olie og
roterende dele.
Pas på, at slangespændebånd
altid er spændt godt fast. Ikke
spændte
eller beskadigede
slangespændebånd kan bevirke,
at luften slipper ukontrolleret ud.
En beskadiget slange skal
omgående udskiftes. En beskadi-
get forsyningsledning kan føre
til ukontrollerede bevægelser af
trykluftslangen og bevirke kvæs-
telser.
Hvis apparatets tilslutningsledning
bliver beskadiget, skal den ud-
skiftes af fabrikanten eller dennes
kundeservice eller af en tilsvaren-
de kvalificeret person for at un-

DK20
dgå farer.
Brug ikke apparatet, når du er
træt eller er påvirket af stoffer,
alkohol eller medicin. Et øjebliks
uagtsomhed ved brug af dette ap-
parat kan føre til alvorlige kvæs-
telser.
Indånd ikke luften, som kommer
ud af apparatet. Undgå at få den
luft, som kommer ud af appara-
tet, i øjnene. Den luft, som kom-
mer ud af trykluftapparatet, kan
indeholde vand, olie, metalpar-
tikler eller forureninger fra kom-
pressoren. Dette kan bevirke hel-
bredsskader.
VÆR FORSIGTIG, NÅR
APPARATET LÆGGES NED!
Læg altid apparatet på en sådan
måde, at det ikke kommer til at
ligge på afbryderen.
Dette kan
under visse forhold føre til, at
apparatet ved en fejltagelse bliver
tændt, hvad der så igen kan føre
til en fare.
Der må kun anvendes egnet tilbe-
hør. Dette kan købes hos fabri-
kanten. Ikke originalt tilbehør kan
udgøre en fare.
Brug kun filtreret og reguleret
trykluft. Støv, ætsende dampe og
/ eller fugt kan beskadige mo-
toren i et trykluftværktøj.
Værktøjet og forsyningsslangen
skal være udstyret med en slange-
kobling, så der ikke længere er
noget tryk, når koblingsslangens
forbindelse løsnes.
FARE! Undgå kontakt med en
spændingsførende ledning. Dette
apparat er ikke isoleret mod et
elektrisk stød.
FARE FOR TILSKADE-
KOMST!
Ved høje arbejdstryk kan der
forekomme kraftige tilbageslag,
som eventuelt kan udgøre en
risiko på grund af vedvarende
belastning.
Når du ikke har nogen erfaring
med brugen af apparatet, bør du
lade dig instruere om farefri an-
vendelse.
FARE PÅ GRUND AF
STIKSÅR! Behandl ikke en
indsprøjtning som et almindeligt
snit. En højtrykstråle kan sprøjte
giftstoffer ind i kroppen og
bevirke alvorlige kvæstelser. I
tilfælde af en hudindsprøjtning
skal du omgående søge lægeh-
jælp.
Uden fabrikantens samtykke må
der ikke foretages nogen som
helst ændringer på trykluftappa-
ratet.
Efter brug og når det ikke be-
nyttes, skal trykluftapparatets
forbindelse til lufttilførslen altid
afbrydes.
