The Pelican™ 3410 ashlight is a compact ashlight / work light with
an articulating head providing multiple uses. It contains dual LEDs
(spot and ood) that support both close up applications, as well as
distance illumination. The built-in clip (3410) and clip with magnet
(3410M/3410MCC) allows for hands-free use.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Battery Installation / Replacement
1. Ensure that the tail cap lock is set in the ‘Unlock’ position.
2. Twist the tail cap counter-clockwise until it stops and pull the tail
cap away from the body.
3. Remove and discard the battery insert.
4. Insert 3 AA batteries in the direction indicated.
5. Replace tail cap, turn clockwise until it aligns with the body. For
added security, turn the tail cap lock to the ‘Lock’ position with the
lanyard attachment.
6. Replicate process for battery replacement.
General Operation
Modes: Spot and Flood, Flood Only, Spot Only, Flashing
From any operating position, press and hold the switch to toggle
between the Spot and Flood, Flood Only and Spot only mode options.
Release the switch once you reach the desired mode.
Flashing: Press and hold the on/off switch for three seconds from the
off position.
Off: From any operating position, press and release once.
Light Intensity Levels
High: Press once
Medium: Press twice (within 0.5 second)
Low: Press three times (within 1 second)
The small LED in the switch indicates the battery status when the
ashlight is turned on:
Green = 61% - 100%
Amber = 21% - 60%
Red =< 20%
MAINTENANCE
General Care and Maintenance
» Clean o-ring with a soft clean cloth to ensure the sealing area
is free of dirt that may damage the o-ring seal.
» Occasionally apply a light coat of food grade silicone grease
to the o-ring.
» Maintain fresh batteries as needed.
» Do not mix old and new batteries.
O-Ring Maintenance
Check closely for cuts, scratches, or otherwise damaged o-ring or
mating lens lip surface. Remove any dirt or foreign matter from o-ring
sealing surfaces. Keep threads, o-ring groove and inside lip of lens
lubricated with silicone grease.
CAUTION: TO PREVENT THE 3410 FLASHLIGHT COMING ON
ACCIDENTALLY WHEN THE FLASHLIGHT IS STORED, REMOVE
THE BATTERIES. IF THE 3410 FLASHLIGHT IS TURNED ON
WHILE IT IS IN A CONTAINER, THE FLASHLIGHT CAN OVERHEAT
AND DAMAGE THE FLASHLIGHT OR THE MATERIAL OF THE
SURROUNDING AREA.

Alkaline Batteries
» For those products with Hazardous Location Safety Approvals for
explosive environments, please be advised that the safety approval
is only valid for the specied battery type and manufacturers and,
where applicable, brand names that are displayed on the equipment
and/or instructions sheets that are supplied with the ashlight.
The use of other battery types may reduce the performance of the
equipment, expose the user or others to serious injury, and will
invalidate the safety approval.
» Always read the battery manufacturer’s recommendations for the
appropriate usage of the battery type/brand prior to using.
» When replacing the batteries, replace all the batteries at the same
time. DO NOT mix battery brands. DO NOT mix old and new
batteries. Always insert batteries correctly with regard to polarity
(+ and -) marked on the battery and equipment.
» DO NOT change batteries in a hazardous location.
» DO NOT use batteries beyond their expiration date.
» Remove batteries from equipment if it is not to be used for an
extended period of time.
Battery Recycling
ALWAYS dispose of batteries properly at an approved battery recycling
center. Failure to do so may be a crime and can lead to the release of
harmful toxic materials. Pelican has partnered with Call 2 Recycle in the
US and Canada to dispose of recyclable batteries. Please call
1-800-822-8837 to nd a battery recycling center near you.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
Colocación/Sustitución De Las Pilas
1. Comprobar que la tapa trasera está desbloqueada.
2. Girar la tapa trasera hacia la izquierda hasta que haga tope
y separarla de la linterna.
3. Sacar y desechar el inserto de las pilas.
4. Colocar 3 pilas AA en la dirección indicada.
5. Volver a colocar la tapa trasera girándola hacia la derecha hasta
encajarla de nuevo. Para más seguridad, bloquear la tapa trasera
con el gancho de la correa.
6. Repetir el proceso para la sustitución de las pilas.

Baterías Alcalinas
» Para aquellos productos con aprobaciones de seguridad para

Le modèle Pelican™ 3410 est une torche professionnelle compacte
dotée d’une tête articulée polyvalente. Elle contient deux LED (spot
et faisceau large) qui permettent d’éclairer de près comme de loin.
La xation intégrée (3410) et la xation aimantée (3410M/3410MCC)
permettent une utilisation sans les mains.
MODE D’EMPLOI
Insertion/Remplacement Des Piles
1. S’assurer que le verrouillage du capuchon arrière est en position
déverrouillée.
2. Tourner le capuchon arrière dans le sens antihoraire jusqu’en butée,
puis extraire le capuchon arrière du corps.
3. Retirer et mettre au rebut l’insert de pile.
4. Insérer trois piles AA dans le sens indiqué.
5. Remettre le capuchon arrière, le tourner dans le sens horaire jusqu’à
ce qu’il soit aligné sur le corps. Pour plus de sécurité, mettre le
verrouillage du capuchon arrière en position verrouillée avec le
cordon.
6. Suivre la même procédure pour le remplacement des piles.
Fonctionnement Général
Modes : Spot et faisceau large, Faisceau large seul, Spot seul,
Clignotement.
Quelle que soit la position de fonctionnement activée, maintenir le
commutateur enfoncé pour basculer entre les options de mode Spot
et faisceau large, Faisceau large seul et Spot seul. Une fois le mode
souhaité activé, relâcher le commutateur.
Clignotement: De la position éteinte, maintenir le commutateur enfoncé
pendant trois secondes.
Arrêt: Quelle que soit la position de fonctionnement activée, appuyer et
relâcher une fois.
Niveaux D’intensité Lumineuse
Forte intensité: Appuyer une fois.
Moyenne intensité: Appuyer deux fois (en 0,5 seconde).
Faible intensité: Appuyer trois fois (en 1 seconde).
Le petit témoin LED du commutateur indique l’état de la batterie lorsque
la
lampe est allumée :
Vert = 61 % - 100 %
Ambre = 21 % - 60 %
Rouge = < 20 %
MAINTENANCE
Entretien Et Maintenance Généraux
» Nettoyer le joint torique à l’aide d’un chiffon doux propre pour
garantir que la zone d’étanchéité est exempte de toute impureté
susceptible d’altérer l’étanchéité du joint torique.
» De temps en temps, appliquer au joint torique une ne couche de
graisse de silicone de type alimentaire.
» Conserver les piles en bon état de fonctionnement et les remplacer
quand cela s’avère nécessaire.
» Ne pas mélanger les piles usées et les piles neuves.
Entretien Des Joints Toriques
Rechercher soigneusement toute trace de coupure, de rayure ou
d’autre dommage sur le joint torique ou sur la surface du bord de la
lentille d’accouplement. Ôter toute impureté ou tout corps étranger des
surfaces d’étanchéité du joint torique. Conserver les lets, la rainure du
joint torique et le bord intérieur de la lentille lubriés à l’aide de graisse
de silicone.
ATTENTION: POUR EMPÊCHER QUE LA TORCHE 3410 NE
S’ALLUME ACCIDENTELLEMENT QUAND ELLE EST RANGÉE,
RETIRER LES PILES. SI LA TORCHE 3410 EST ALLUMÉE ALORS
QU’ELLE SE TROUVE DANS UN CONTENEUR, ELLE PEUT
SURCHAUFFER ET ÊTRE ENDOMMAGÉE OU ENDOMMAGER LE
MATÉRIAU QUI L’ENTOURE.

the lamp or batteries.
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (A) THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF
ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED
TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR
A PARTICULAR PURPOSE; (B) ALL OTHER IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND
ANY LIABILITY NOT BASED UPON CONTRACT ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED
AND EXCLUDED; AND (C) IN NO EVENT SHALL PELICAN BE LIABLE FOR
ANY INDIRECT, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES,

Modos: Haz concentrado y haz difuso, Solo haz difuso, Solo haz
concentrado, Parpadeo
Desde cualquier posición de funcionamiento, mantener pulsado el
interruptor para cambiar entre los modos Haz concentrado y haz difuso,
Solo haz difuso y Solo haz concentrado. Soltar el interruptor tras llegar
al modo deseado.
Parpadeo: mantener pulsado el interruptor de encendido/apagado
durante tres segundos desde la posición de apagado.
Apagado: desde cualquier posición de funcionamiento, pulsar y soltar
una vez.
Niveles De Intensidad De La Luz
Intensidad alta: pulsar una vez.
Intensidad media: pulsar dos veces (en menos de 0,5 segundos).
Intensidad baja: pulsar tres veces (en menos de un segundo).
El pequeño LED que se encuentra en el interruptor indica el estado de
carga de las pilas con la linterna encendida:

» Ocasionalmente, aplicar una na capa de grasa de silicona de
calidad alimentaria al anillo de sellado de neopreno.
» Sustituir las pilas por otras nuevas cuando sea necesario.
» No mezclar pilas antiguas con pilas nuevas.
Mantenimiento Del Anillo
De Sellado De Neopreno
Vericar meticulosamente la ausencia de cortes, arañazos u otros
daños en el anillo de sellado de neopreno y en la supercie de contacto
del reborde de la lente. Eliminar la suciedad o sustancias extrañas de
la supercie del anillo de sellado de neopreno. Lubricar las roscas, la
estría del anillo de sellado de neopreno y el reborde interior de la lente
con grasa de silicona.
PRECAUCIÓN: PARA EVITAR QUE LA LINTERNA 3410 SE
ENCIENDA ACCIDENTALMENTE MIENTRAS ESTÁ ALMACENADA,
SACAR LAS PILAS DE LA LINTERNA. SI LA LINTERNA 3410 SE
ENCIENDE MIENTRAS SE ENCUENTRA EN UN CONTENEDOR,
LA LINTERNA SE PUEDE CALENTAR EN EXCESO, LO QUE
PODRÍA PROVOCAR DAÑOS EN LA PROPIA LINTERNA O EN LOS
