Servicing is required when the apparatus has been

damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or

plug is damaged. liquid has been spilled or objects

have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has

18. Excessive sound pressure on ear-and headphones

could impair the hearing ability. Higher setting that

idle on the equalizer leads to higher signal voltages

on the output for ear and headphones.

19. The power plug should be close to the radio, and

easy to be approached that during the emergency, to

disconnect the power from the radio, just unplug the

power plug from the AC power slot.

20. Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is

used as the disconnect device, the disconnected

device shall remain readily operable.

21. The batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat

such as sunshine, fire or the like.

22. This apparatus is provided with protection against

splashing water (IP44).

Safety information for the internal

rechargeable Lithium-ion battery

The internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery used in

this device is able to supply power for a long period of

time. However, even lithium-ion batteries reach a point

where they cannot be recharged. If the battery does

not recharge after several attempts, it may be drained

(has a low charge), please contact Perfectpro for repair

information. However, if you do not want us to replace the

battery, you will need to dispose of used batteries / device

in accordance to the laws and regulations in your area. In

addition, you can contact your local electronics retailers or

recycling center for disposal.

User Safety Precautions

●Ensure that the room temperature range is 5°C–40°C

(41°-104°Fahrenheit) before charging the battery.

●Do not attempt to disassemble the plastic covering or

any parts of the device, as the materials inside may be

toxic and may damage skin and clothes.

●Do not puncture, crush, modify, throw or cause any

unnecessary shock to your battery, as the battery used

in this device may present a risk of fire, explosion, or

chemical burn if mistreated.

●Do not leave, charge or use the battery in a car under

direct sunlight, near fire or a heated source.

●Do not immerse or throw the battery in water / seawater.

●Do not use or charge the battery if it appears to be

abnormally hot, discolored, deformed or abnormal

conditions are detected during use, charge or storage.

●Do not leave a charging battery unattended. Keep the

battery away from babies and children.

●CAUTION: 'Risk of explosion if the battery is

replaced by an incorrect type.'

●CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is

incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or

equivalent type.

●The battery combination is stored at room temperature

(25 degrees), charged to 40%~60% of the power, charge

once every three months, for the storage of more than a

year of battery, performance cannot be guaranteed.

AC operation / Charging the radio

The radio can be charged both while the radio is powered

on and powered off. Before you plug the AC cord into the

AC socket, be sure the voltage is correct. Connect the

AC power cord into the AC socket to charge the built-in

lithium-ion battery. AC cable hook is designed to store the

cord when the radio is not in use.

When the charge LED indicator lights red indicating

battery is charging. The battery will be fully charged in

around 7 hours when the radio is in power off mode. The

charging time may vary when the radio is turned on or off.

When charging is complete, the charge LED indicator will

be steady green.

When charging is abnormal, the charge LED indicator

will cycle between red and green. Please remove the AC

power and plug it in again.

IMPORTANT:

The mains plug is used as the means of connecting

the radio to the mains supply. The mains socket used

for the radio must remain accessible during normal

use. In order to disconnect the radio from the mains

completely, the mains plug should be removed from

the mains outlet completely.

Powered via DC IN socket

The radio can be also powered via the DC IN socket

which can allow 12 Volt DC, which is designed to be

radio with you outdoors or on the boat.

An additional cigarette lighter cable is required (supplied)

for this device.

NOTE:

Never use the 12 Volt socket in rainy or moist

conditions to prevent moist from entering the radio.

Always keep the rubber cover on the back well closed

under these conditions.

NOTE:

The voltage of DC in socket must be higher than the

13.5V input voltage to ensure that the lithium-ion

battery is fully charged. If the voltage is too low, the

battery cannot be fully charged. It is recommended to

use the AC power cord for charging.

Listening to DAB radio

Tuning into DAB stations

To tune into DAB radio stations, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the radio using the Standby button.

2. Select the DAB radio mode by repeatedly pressing the

Source button.

3. If this is the first time the DAB radio mode is being

used, the radio will automatically perform a full scan in

order to find all available DAB radio stations. During

the scanning process, as new stations are detected

the station counter will increase and the stations will be

added to the list which is stored in the radio. The bar

graph indicates the progress of the scan.

4. When scanning is completed, the radio will list all

stations that were found. Rotate the Tuning knob to

access the radio station list and to scroll through the

available stations. Then press the Tuning knob to tune

into a station.

5. Use the Volume knob to set the sound level as needed.

Note:

Before selecting the DAB radio mode and performing

a scan, make sure the DAB / FM antenna at the back

of the radio has been positioned upright.

The DAB radio menu

You can open the DAB radio menu by pressing and

holding the Info / Menu button while the radio is in the

DAB radio mode.

Rotate the Tuning knob to select one of the options and

then press the Tuning knob to confirm your choice.

The radio's default and recommended settings are

indicated using an asterisk.

The DAB radio menu offers the following options:

●[Station list]: Select this option display all DAB radio

stations that were found and tune into one of the

stations.

●[Full Scan]: Select this option to perform a full scan

and store all DAB radio stations that were found in the

station list. Alternatively press Auto tune button to scan

for new stations.

●[Manual Tune]: Select this option to manually tune into

a DAB channel / frequency.

●[Station order]: Select this option and subsequently

select [Alphanumeric] to sort the station list

alphanumerically or select [Ensemble] to sort the

station list by DAB multiplex or select [Valid] to show

only those stations for which a signal can be found.

●[DRC]: Dynamic Range Control (also known as DRC)

can make quieter sounds easier to hear when your

radio is used in a noisy environment by reducing the

dynamic range of the audio signal.

After selecting this option, select the required DRC

setting:

[DRC off]: DRC is switched off. Broadcast DRC will be

ignored. This is the default setting.

[DRC low]: DRC level is set to 1 / 2 that sent by

broadcaster.

[DRC high]: DRC is set as sent by broadcaster.

NOTE: Not all DAB broadcasts are able to use the

DRC function. If the broadcast does not support

DRC, then the DRC setting in the radio will have no

effect.

●[Prune Invalid]: Select this option to delete all

unavailable stations from the station list.

●[System Settings]: Select this option to go to the

System settings menu and configure the radio (refer

to the chapter "Using the System settings menu" for

details).

Showing DAB information on the display

When listening to a DAB radio broadcast, repeatedly

press the Info / Menu button to cycle through the following

information on the radio's display:

Text, Program type, Multiplex name & Frequency, Date,

Bit rate, Codec & Audio type, Signal error & Strength, DL

Plus text (Some stations may provide other programme

related information for the display in addition to the

regular text. If none is available, a message "no info" is

displayed.)

If the broadcast being received is in stereo, then the

stereo speaker icon will be shown at the bottom of the

radio's display. If the currently tuned station has been

stored as a preset, then the preset number will also be

shown.

If a DAB broadcast provides a slideshow image, this may

be viewed full-screen by pressing the Select button. To

exit the slideshow image, press the Select button again.

Listening to FM radio

Tuning into FM stations

To tune into FM radio stations, follow these steps:

1. Turn on the radio using the Standby button.

2. Select the FM radio mode by repeatedly pressing the

Source button.

3. Rotate the Tuning knob clockwise or anti-clockwise and

then press the Auto tune button to automatically tune

into an FM station with a higher or lower frequency

respectively. Your radio will stop scanning when it finds

a station of sufficient strength. The display will show

the frequency of the signal which has been found and a

signal strength icon will be shown in the bottom bar of

the radio's display to indicate the strength of the signal

received. If RDS information is available, an RDS icon

will also be shown in the bottom bar of the radio's

display and after a few seconds the display will show

the radio station name.

4. Rotate the Tuning knob to fine-tune the frequency with

steps of 0.05MHz if needed.

5. Repeat the steps 3 and 4 to tune into other radio

stations.

6. Adjust the Volume to the required setting.

Note:

If you find that FM reception is poor, try repositioning

the antenna.

The FM radio menu

You can open the FM radio menu by pressing and holding

the Info / Menu button while the radio is in the FM radio

mode.

Rotate the Tuning knob to select one of the options and

then press the Tuning knob to confirm your choice.

The radio's default and recommended settings are

indicated using an asterisk.

The FM radio menu offers the following options:

●[FM Scan Zone]: Select this option to configure if the

radio should only look for strong signals (“Local”) or

all signals (“Distant”) when using the automatic tuning

feature.

●[FM RDS]: Select this option to enable or disable RDS

reception. When listening to an FM radio station that

is also broadcasting RDS data, select [On] to enable

RDS information reception or [Off] to disable RDS

information reception.

●[System Settings]: Select this option to go to the System

settings menu and configure the radio (refer to the chapter

"Using the System settings menu" for details).

Showing FM information on the display

When listening to an FM radio station that is also

broadcasting RDS data (the RDS icon is shown in the

bottom bar of the radio's display), repeatedly press

the Info / Menu button to cycle through the following

information on the radio's display:

Radio Text, Program Type, Signal Strength, Date.

If the stereo speaker icon is shown at the bottom of the

radio's display, this indicates that the radio is receiving a

stereo broadcast.

FM stereo / mono

If the FM radio station being listened to has a weak signal

some hiss may be audible. It is possible to reduce this

hiss by forcing the radio to play the station in mono rather

than stereo. Press the Stereo / Mono button repeatedly,

the display will show "Forced Mono" or "Stereo Allowed".

Presetting stations in DAB and FM modes

There are 6 memory presets each for DAB and FM radio.

They are used in the same way for each operating mode.

1. Turn on the radio, then select the DAB or FM radio

mode and tune to the required radio station as

previously described.

2. Press and hold the Preset button until the display

shows, for example, “Preset 01 stored”. The station

will be stored under the chosen preset button. Repeat

this procedure as needed for the remaining presets.

Stations stored in preset memories may be overwritten

by following the above procedure.

Recalling a preset in DAB and FM modes

1. Turn on the radio and then select the DAB or FM radio

mode using the Source button.

2. Press the required Preset button to cause your radio to

tune to the station stored in preset memory.

Using the System settings menu

The System settings menu can be used to configure your

radio. Follow these steps to access the System settings

menu:

1. Turn on the radio using the Standby button.

2. Press and hold the Info / Menu button to open the

menu for the current mode.

3. Rotate the Tuning knob to select [System Settings]

and press the Tuning knob to open the menu.

The System settings menu offers the following options:

Rotate the Tuning knob to select one of the options and

then press the Tuning knob to confirm your choice.

Press the Info / Menu button to go back one step in the

radio's menus.

The radio's default and recommended settings are

indicated using an asterisk.

●[MIC Volume]: Select this option to adjust the

microphone volume. Rotate the Tuning knob to

adjust the desired microphone volume.

●[Time setup]: Select this option to set the time and

date manually, to set the source for automatically

updating the time and date, or to and set the time

format.

[Sleep]: The sleep timer allows you to automatically

turn off the radio after a preset time has elapsed.

Select this option and press the Tuning knob. Then

Rotate the Tuning knob to select the desired sleep

time. The sleep timer can be set from 15 to 120

minutes or select “Sleep off” to cancel the sleep

timer. Press the Tuning knob to confirm the setting.

An active sleep timer is shown using a sleep timer

icon at the bottom of the playing display. This icon

also shows the remaining sleep time before the

radio switches itself into standby mode.

To cancel the sleep time before the preset time has

elapsed and to turn off the radio, press the Standby

button to turn the radio off manually.

●[Backlight]: Select this option and then select

[Timeout] to adjust the length of time before the

backlight turns off or select [On Level] to adjust the

display's brightness level when the radio is turned

on or select [Standby Level] to adjust the backlight

brightness when the radio is in standby mode.

●[Language]: Select this option to configure the

language in which the radio's menus are shown.

●[Factory Reset]: Select this option to reset the radio

to the default factory settings. After confirmation, all

user settings and preset stations will be erased.

●[SW Version]: Select this option to view the

software version of the radio.

Listening to music via Bluetooth

streaming

You need to pair your Bluetooth device with your radio

before you can auto-link to play / stream Bluetooth music

through your radio. Pairing creates a ‘bond’ so the two

devices can recognize each other.

Pairing and playing your Bluetooth device

for the first time

1. With your radio switched on, press the Source button

to select Bluetooth mode. “BT Pairing” will show on the

display. The Bluetooth LED indicator on the radio will

flash blue to show the radio is discoverable.

2. Activate Bluetooth on your device according to the

device’s user manual to link to the radio. Locate the

Bluetooth device list and select the device named

“RH4” (With some Smartphone’s that are equipped with

earlier versions than BT2.1 Bluetooth device, you may

need to input the pass code “0000”).

3. Once connected, there will be a confirmation tone

sound and the name of your connected Bluetooth

device will show on the display. The Bluetooth LED

indicator will turn solid blue. You can simply select and

play any music from your source device.

4. The volume control can be adjusted from your source

device, or directly from the radio. Use the controls on

your Bluetooth-enabled device or on the radio to play /

pause and navigate tracks.

Note:

●If 2 Bluetooth devices are pairing for the first time,

both will search for your radio, it will show its

availability on both devices. However, if one device

links with this unit first, then the other Bluetooth

device will not find it on the list.

●If you take your source device out of range, the

connection will be temporarily disconnected to your

radio. Your radio will automatically reconnect if the

source device is brought back in range. Be aware

that during the period of disconnection, no other

Bluetooth device can pair or link with your radio.

●If “RH4” shows in your Bluetooth device list but

your device cannot connect with it, please delete

the item from your list and pair the device with

the radio again following the steps described

previously.

●The effective operation range between the system

and the paired device is approximately 10 meters

(30 feet). Any obstacle between the system and the

device can reduce the operational range.

●Bluetooth / NFC connectivity performance may vary

depending on the connected Bluetooth devices.

Please refer to the Bluetooth capabilities of your

device before connecting to your radio. All features

may not be supported on some paired Bluetooth

devices.

●With some mobile phones, making / receiving

calls, text messages, e-mails or any other activities

unrelated to audio streaming may mute the

Bluetooth audio streaming or even temporarily

disconnect from your device. Such behavior is

a function of the connected device and does not

indicate a fault with your radio.

Playing audio files in Bluetooth mode

When you have successfully connected your radio with the

chosen Bluetooth device you can start to play your music

using the controls on your connected Bluetooth device.

1. Once playing has started, the volume can be adjusted

both on the radio using the Volume knob and on the

Bluetooth device using the volume control of the device.

2. Use the controls on your Bluetooth device to play /

pause and navigate tracks. Alternatively, control the

playback using Play / Pause, Next track, Previous track

buttons on your radio.

3. Press and hold the Fast forward or Rewind button to

move through the current track. Release the button

when the desired point is reached.

Note:

Not all player applications or devices may respond to

all of these controls.

Showing Bluetooth information on the

display

If your connected device can provide information from

the track being played, when listening to Bluetooth audio,

repeatedly press the Info / Menu button to cycle through

the following information on the radio's display:

Title, Artist, Album, Date.

Please note that the availability of information depends on

the specific media format.

Reconnecting a previously-paired Bluetooth

source device

The radio can memorize up to 6 sets of paired Bluetooth

devices, when the memory exceeds this amount, the

earliest paring device will be overwritten from the device.

If your Bluetooth device already paired with the radio

previously, the unit will memorize your Bluetooth device

and it attempts to reconnect with a Bluetooth device in

memory which is last connected.

Disconnecting your Bluetooth device

To disconnect your Bluetooth device, either turn off

Bluetooth on the Bluetooth device, press and hold the

Bluetooth pair button on the radio to switch over to the

pairing mode (the Bluetooth indicator will blink blue),

or switch to another mode on the radio by pressing the

Source button. If you disconnect the Bluetooth device

when the radio is in the Bluetooth mode, the radio's

display will show "BT Pairing" and the radio will be

available for pairing again.

Pairing and playing your device via NFC

The radio is equipped with wireless NFC (Near Field

Communication) feature, allowing playing NFC-enabled

devices to pair and play the music. For non-NFC devices,

please refer to the above sections for standard Bluetooth

pairing.

1. Turn on your NFC feature on your device. (Important:

Please make sure the screen of your playing device is

on and unlocked to allow NFC to work.)

2. Touch the NFC area of your playing device against the

NFC area marked on top right panel of your radio. The

unit will switch to Bluetooth mode and enter automatic

pairing. If you pair with your radio for the first time,

your NFC-enabled device will be asked the permission

to link with the radio. Once paired with a device, the

Bluetooth icon will remain illuminated.

3. Use the controls on your device or on your radio to play

/ pause and navigate tracks.

Note:

●If you would like to link another Bluetooth device

for the first time via NFC, disconnect the existing

linked Bluetooth device first.

●The location of the NFC detection area is not the

same on all devices. When connecting with other

Bluetooth device via NFC, refer to the User guide of

the other device for more information.

●Some of metallic case or cover for mobile phones

may reduce the sensitivity of NFC. Make sure you

remove it, before activating the NFC.

Disconnecting your NFC-enabled device

To disconnect your device, simply touch it again on the

top of the unit. The LED light for Bluetooth icon will then

start to flash indicating your radio is discoverable again for

pairing. (Important: Please make sure the screen of your

playing device is on and unlocked to allow NFC to work.)

The PerfectPro Stereo Pairing Feature

Stereo Pairing (also known as True Wireless Stereo or

TWS) is a feature that allows two speakers to wirelessly

connect with each other and an audio device to play

music in stereo without the need for any cables. Your

ROCKHART can be wirelessly connected to a second

ROCKHART and an audio device to play music through

both speakers at the same time.

Setting up the first speaker

1. Make sure the first speaker is in Bluetooth mode and

connect to a Bluetooth device.

2. Press the Stereo pairing button to enter the Stereo

pairing mode.

Setting up the second speaker

1. Make sure the second speaker is in Bluetooth mode

and that it has not connected to a Bluetooth device.

2. Press the Stereo pairing button to enter the Stereo

pairing mode.

After the speakers have successfully connected, the

first speaker will display "Lead Stereo". The second

speaker will display "Follow Stereo".

Note:

●Set up the second speaker within 1 minute of the

first one, otherwise the setting of the first speaker

will be canceled.

●When both speakers are connected to the same

Bluetooth device, the Stereo Pairing feature cannot

be set. In this case, you need to disconnect the

Bluetooth connection of one of the speakers to set

up the Stereo Pairing feature.

Starting playback

1. Start playback on the connected Bluetooth device and

adjust the volume on the Bluetooth device or one of the

speakers for comfortable listening.

Note: Volume, EQ and Loudness setting of one

speaker is reflected on the other.

2. Use the controls on your Bluetooth device to play /

pause and navigate tracks. Alternatively, control the

playback using the Play / Pause, Next and Previous

buttons on either speaker.

3. Press and hold the Next or Previous button on either

speaker to fast forward or rewind within the current track.

Release the button when the desired point is reached.

Note:

Not all player applications or devices may respond to

all of these controls.

Switching the audio mode

When using two speakers, you can switch between

"Stereo", "Left" and "Right" mode. Press the L / R button

on either of the speakers to change the audio mode.

"Stereo" mode: Both speakers play the same sound.

This is the default setting.

"Left" / "Right" mode: One speaker plays the sound on

the left channel, while the other speaker plays the sound

on the right channel for stereo playback between the

speakers.

Disconnecting the PerfectPro Stereo Pairing

connection

Press and hold the Stereo pairing button for 2-3 seconds

to disconnect the Stereo Pairing feature.

Listening to audio from a USB device or

SD card

The ROCKHART is capable of playing MP3 / WMA

(version 9 standard) / WAV / AAC / OGG files from USB

devices or SD cards.

However, there are many different card variants

available and not all cards can be guaranteed to work in

ROCKHART.

Playing files from a USB device or SD card

To play audio files from a USB device or SD card, follow

these steps:

1. Turn on the radio using the Standby button.

2. Insert the USB device in the USB port or SD card in de

SD card slot.

3. Select the USB or SD mode by repeatedly pressing

the Source button. After selecting either of these two

modes, the radio's display will show "Reading" while

the radio is reading the content of the USB device or

SD card.

4. After the content of the USB device or SD card has

been read, the radio will start playback. The display

will show (for example) "F001 T001 00:00". The first

number represents the folder number, the second

number represents the track number within the current

folder and the third number represents play time.

5. When playback has started:

●Press the Play / Pause button to pause / resume

playback.

●Press the Next or Previous button to go to the next

or previous track.

●Press and hold the Next or Previous button to fast

forward or rewind within a track and release the

button when the desired point is reached.

●Press the Next folder or Previous folder button to go

to the next folder or previous folder.

6. Repeatedly press the Play mode button to select a play

mode. The available playback modes are:

●Repeat one track

●Repeat a folder

●Repeat all tracks

●Shuffle playback

The indicator of the selected play mode is shown at the

bottom of the radio's display. After random play, press the

Play mode button once more to switch back to normal

playback.

Showing track information on the display

When listening to audio from a USB device or SD card,

repeatedly press the Info / Menu button to cycle through

the following information on the radio's display:

Charging a USB device

The ROCKHART’s USB port can also be used to charge

USB devices. The USB port has an output power of 5V /

1A.

To charge a USB device (e.g. iPhone, smartphone or

similar device), just open the multimedia compartment

cover on the right side of the radio and insert / connect it

to the USB port. After charging has finished, don't forget

to remove / disconnect the device again and close the

multimedia compartment cover to prevent moist or dust

from entering the radio.

Charge time may vary and in some cases may take longer

to charge than when using the manufacturers charging

unit supplied with the smart phone.

IMPORTANT:

●The USB jack can only provide power for the USB

memory stick only with 1A 5V maximum and most

of iPhone models. However, it does not support

external Hard disk drive and all mobile phones and

electronic device.

●The maximum volume of the output power speaker

will decrease when your USB is charging.

●The charger may not supply power to some USB

devices.

●Do not connect power source to USB port.

Otherwise there is risk of fire. The USB port is only

intended for charging lower voltage device. Always

close the multimedia compartment cover when not

charging the lower voltage device.

●Do not insert a nail, wire, etc. into USB power

supply port. Otherwise a circuit short may cause

smoke and fire.

●Do not connect this USB socket with your PC USB

port, as it is highly possible that it may cause

breakdown of the units.

Listening to audio using the Aux in

socket

You can listen to the sound of an external device (such

as an iPod or MP3 player) through the speaker of the

ROCKHART. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Open the Aux in socket's rubber cover and connect

the external device to the socket using a 3.5mm audio

cable (not included).

2. Make sure both the radio and the external device are

turned on.

3. Select the AUX IN mode by repeatedly pressing the

Source button.

4. The audio output of the external device will now be

played through the speakers of the ROCKHART.

Playback must be controlled on the external device,

while the volume can be controlled both on the radio

and on the external device.

Note:

After disconnecting the 3.5mm audio cable, close the

Aux in socket's rubber cover again to prevent moist

or dust from entering the radio.

Microphone socket

A 6.3mm microphone socket is provided on the back of

the radio for connecting a microphone.

1. Connect the microphone (not supplied) to the

microphone (MIC) socket.

2. Make sure both the radio and the microphone are

turned on.

3. Adjust the volume control on the radio to the required

level.

Note:

●In USB or SD mode, when a USB or SD card is not

inserted into the radio, the microphone will not be

activated.

●Do not place the microphone against the speaker,

it can cause feedback echo and it will damage the

radio.

Equalizer function (EQ)

The sound on your radio can be adjusted to suit your

personal taste for the songs you are listening to.

Press the EQ button to cycle through the various modes.

If you find the preset equalizer functions not to your liking,

you may set up a custom treble and bass as following:

1. Press and hold the EQ button to enter the MY EQ

setting.

2. Rotate the Tuning knob to adjust the Treble level and

then press the Tuning knob to confirm the setting.

3. Rotate the Tuning knob to adjust the Bass level and

then press the Tuning knob to confirm the setting.

Loudness On / Off

When the radio is turned on, press the Loudness button

to enable or disable the radio's loudness function. When

the loudness function is applied, the characters in the EQ

mode (such as Flat) will change from white to orange.

This radio has a 2 year limited warranty.

WARNING! Warranty becomes void once the radio cabinet

has been opened or any modifications or alterations to the

radio have been made!

The terms of the warranty of this radio do not cover the

following:

- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, alterations,

bevinden en moet altijd eenvoudig bereikt kunnen

20. Als de stekker of een koppelapparaat wordt gebruikt

als ontkoppelapparaat, zorg er dan voor dat deze

eenvoudig bereikbaar blijft.

21. De batterijen mogen niet worden blootgesteld aan

Veiligheidsinformatie voor de

interne oplaadbare lithium-ionaccu

De interne oplaadbare lithium-ionaccu die in dit apparaat

wordt gebruikt, kan gedurende lange tijd stroom leveren.

Zelfs lithium-ionaccu's bereiken echter een punt waarop

ze niet meer kunnen worden opgeladen. Als de accu

na verschillende pogingen niet kan worden opgeladen,

is het mogelijk dat deze leeg is (een lage resterende

capaciteit heeft). Neem in dit geval contact op met

Perfectpro voor reparatie-informatie. Als u echter niet

wilt dat wij de accu vervangen, moet u gebruikte accu's

/ apparaten weggooien in overeenstemming met de

wet- en regelgeving in uw regio. Daarnaast kunt u

voor verwijdering contact opnemen met uw plaatselijke

elektronicawinkel of recyclingcentrum.

Veiligheidsmaatregelen voor gebruikers

●Zorg er voordat u de accu oplaadt voor dat de

kamertemperatuur binnen het bereik 5°C–40°C ligt.

●Probeer de plastic behuizing of onderdelen van het

apparaat niet te demonteren, aangezien de materialen

in het apparaat giftig kunnen zijn en de huid en kleding

kunnen beschadigen.

●De accu mag niet worden doorboord, geplet, aangepast,

gegooid of blootgesteld aan onnodige elektrische

schokken, omdat de accu die wordt gebruikt in dit apparaat

een risico op brand, explosies of chemische brandwonden

kan vormen indien deze verkeerd wordt behandeld.

●De accu mag niet worden achtergelaten, opgeladen of

gebruikt in een auto in direct zonlicht of in de buurt van

vuur of warmtebronnen.

●Dompel de accu niet onder of gooi de accu niet in

water / zeewater.

●Gebruik of laad de accu niet op wanneer deze

abnormaal warm, verkleurd of vervormd is of wanneer

u afwijkende omstandigheden opmerkt tijdens gebruik,

opladen of opslag.

●Laat een accu die wordt opgeladen niet onbeheerd

achter. Houd de accu uit de buurt van baby's en

kinderen.

●LET OP: 'Explosiegevaar indien de accu wordt

vervangen door een onjuist type.'

●LET OP: Explosiegevaar indien de accu onjuist

wordt vervangen. Alleen vervangen door accu van

hetzelfde of een gelijkwaardig type.

●De accucombinatie moet worden opgeslagen bij

kamertemperatuur (25 graden), opgeladen tot een

accuniveau van 40%~60% en elke drie maanden

worden opgeladen. Als de accu meer dan een jaar

wordt opgeslagen, kan er niet worden gegarandeerd

dat de accu nog naar behoren presteert.

Gebruik met netstroom / de radio

opladen

De radio kan zowel in ingeschakelde als uitgeschakelde

toestand worden opgeladen. Voordat u de stekker van het

netsnoer in het stopcontact steekt, dient u te controleren

of de spanning correct is. Sluit het netsnoer aan op het

stopcontact om de ingebouwde lithium-ionaccu op te

laden. De netsnoerhaak is ontworpen om het netsnoer op

te bergen wanneer de radio niet in gebruik is.

Wanneer het oplaadindicatielampje rood oplicht, geeft

dit aan dat de accu wordt opgeladen. Het volledig

opladen van de accu neemt ongeveer 7 uur in beslag

wanneer de radio is uitgeschakeld. De oplaadtijd

kan verschillen, afhankelijk van of de radio is in- of

uitgeschakeld. Wanneer het opladen is voltooid, brandt

het oplaadindicatielampje continu groen.

Als er tijdens het opladen afwijkingen optreden, knippert

het oplaadindicatielampje afwisselend rood en groen. Trek

de stekker van het netsnoer uit het stopcontact en steek

de stekker daarna opnieuw in het stopcontact.

BELANGRIJK:

De stekker van het netsnoer wordt gebruikt om de

radio aan te sluiten op het lichtnet. Het stopcontact

dat wordt gebruikt voor de radio moet tijdens normaal

gebruik altijd bereikbaar blijven. Als u de radio volledig

wilt loskoppelen van het lichtnet, trek de stekker van

het netsnoer dan volledig uit het stopcontact.

Voeding via DC-INGANG

De radio kan ook van stroom worden voorzien via de DC-

INGANG met 12 volt gelijkstroom. Voertuigen en boten

kunnen in veel gevallen 12 volt gelijkstroom leveren,

zodat de radio ook buitenshuis of op een boot kan worden

gebruikt.

Voor het gebruik van de DC-INGANG is een extra

sigarettenaanstekerkabel benodigd (meegeleverd).

OPMERKING:

Gebruik de 12-volt-aansluiting nooit in regenachtige

of vochtige omstandigheden om te voorkomen dat

vocht de radio binnendringt. Houd de rubberen

afdekking op de achterkant altijd goed gesloten onder

deze omstandigheden.

OPMERKING:

De spanning van de DC-INGANG moet hoger zijn dan

de 13,5V-ingangsspanning om ervoor te zorgen dat

de lithium-ionaccu volledig wordt opgeladen. Als de

spanning te laag is, kan de accu niet volledig worden

opgeladen. Het wordt aanbevolen om het netsnoer te

gebruiken om op te laden.

Luisteren naar DAB-radio

Afstemmen op DAB-zenders

Volg deze stappen om af te stemmen op DAB-

radiozenders:

1. Schakel de radio in met de Stand-byknop.

2. Selecteer de DAB-modus door herhaaldelijk op de

Bronknop te drukken.

3. Als de DAB-radiomodus voor het eerst wordt gebruikt,

voert de radio automatisch een volledige scan uit

om alle beschikbare DAB-radiozenders te vinden.

De zenderteller wordt opgehoogd als er tijdens het

scannen nieuwe zenders worden gevonden en de

gevonden zenders worden toegevoegd aan de lijst die

is opgeslagen in de radio. Het balkje op het display van

de radio geeft de voortgang van de scan aan.

4. Als het scannen is voltooid, geeft de radio alle

gevonden zenders weer. Draai aan de Afstemknop

om de lijst met radiozenders te openen en door de

beschikbare zenders te bladeren. Druk vervolgens op

de Afstemknop om af te stemmen op een zender.

5. Gebruik de Volumeknop om het volume naar wens in

te stellen.

Opmerking:

Zorg er voordat u de DAB-radiomodus selecteert en

een scan uitvoert voor dat de DAB / FM-antenne op de

achterkant van de radio goed rechtop is geplaatst.

Het DAB-menu

U kunt het DAB-menu openen door de Info / Menu-knop

ingedrukt te houden wanneer de radio zich in de DAB-

radiomodus bevindt.

Draai aan de Afstemknop om een van de beschikbare

opties te selecteren en druk vervolgens op de Afstemknop

om uw keuze te bevestigen.

De standaardinstellingen en aanbevolen instellingen van

de radio aangegeven met een asterisk.

Het DAB-menu biedt de volgende opties:

●[Station list]: Selecteer deze optie om alle DAB-

radiozenders die gevonden zijn weer te geven en af te

stemmen op een van de gevonden zenders.

●[Full Scan]: Selecteer deze optie om een volledige

scan uit te voeren en alle gevonden DAB-radiozenders

op te slaan in de zenderlijst. U kunt ook op de

Automatisch afstemmen-knop drukken om naar nieuwe

zenders te scannen.

●[Manual Tune]: Selecteer deze optie om handmatig af

te stemmen op een DAB-kanaal / frequentie.

●[Station order]: Selecteer deze optie en selecteer

vervolgens [Alphanumeric] om de zenderlijst

alfanumeriek te sorteren of selecteer [Ensemble] om

de zenderlijst op DAB-multiplex te sorteren of selecteer

[Valid] om alleen de zenders waarvoor een signaal kan

worden gevonden weer te geven.

●[DRC]: Dynamic Range Control (ook bekend als

DRC) kan zachtere geluiden eenvoudiger hoorbaar

maken wanneer uw radio wordt gebruikt in een

lawaaiige omgeving door het dynamisch bereik van het

audiosignaal te reduceren.

Nadat u deze optie hebt geselecteerd, moet u de

gewenste DRC-instelling selecteren:

[DRC off]: DRC is uitgeschakeld. Uitgezonden DRC

wordt genegeerd. Dit is de standaardinstelling.

[DRC low]: DRC-niveau wordt ingesteld op 1 / 2 van

het niveau dat wordt uitgezonden door de zender.

[DRC high]: DRC wordt ingesteld zoals uitgezonden

door de zender.

OPMERKING: U kunt niet bij alle DAB-uitzendingen

gebruik maken van de DRC-functie. Als een

uitzending geen ondersteuning biedt voor DRC,

dan heeft het instellen van DRC op de radio geen

effect.

●[Prune Invalid]: Selecteer deze optie om alle niet-

beschikbare zenders uit de zenderlijst te verwijderen.

●[System Settings]: Selecteer deze optie om naar

het systeeminstellingenmenu te gaan en de radio

te configureren (raadpleeg het hoofdstuk 'Het

systeeminstellingenmenu gebruiken' voor meer

informatie).

Informatie over DAB-radio weergeven op

het display

Druk tijdens het luisteren naar een DAB-zender

herhaaldelijk op de Info / Menu-knop om op het display

van de radio door de volgende informatie te bladeren:

Tekst, Programmatype, Multiplex-naam en frequentie,

Datum, Bitrate, Codec en audiotype, Signaalfout en

-sterkte, DL Plus-tekst (sommige zenders kunnen naast

de gewone tekst ook andere programmagerelateerde

gegevens op het display weergeven. Als er geen

informatie beschikbaar is, wordt de melding 'no info'

weergegeven.)

Als de uitzending in stereo wordt ontvangen, wordt

het stereoluidsprekerpictogram weergegeven aan

de onderkant van het display van de radio. Als de

zender waarop is afgestemd is opgeslagen als een

voorkeurzender, wordt het voorkeurzendernummer ook

weergegeven aan de onderkant van het display.

Als een DAB-uitzending een dia-afbeelding aanbiedt,

kan deze op volledig scherm worden bekeken door op

de Select-knop te drukken. Druk nogmaals op de Select-

knop om de weergave van de dia-afbeelding af te sluiten.

Luisteren naar FM-radio

Afstemmen op FM-zenders

Volg deze stappen om af te stemmen op FM-

radiozenders:

1. Schakel de radio in met de Stand-byknop.

2. Selecteer de FM-modus door herhaaldelijk op de

Bronknop te drukken.

3. Draai de Afstemknop met de klok mee of tegen de

klok in en druk vervolgens de Automatisch afstemmen-

knop om automatisch af te stemmen op een FM-

zender met een hogere of lagere frequentie. Uw

radio stopt met scannen wanneer deze een zender

met een voldoende sterk signaal heeft gevonden.

Het display toont de frequentie van het gevonden

signaal en aan de onderkant van het display wordt een

signaalsterktepictogram weergegeven in de onderste

balk op het display van de radio om de sterkte van

het ontvangen signaal aan te geven. Als er RDS-

gegevens beschikbaar zijn, wordt er ook een RDS-

pictogram in de onderste balk op het display van de

radio weergegeven en na een paar seconden wordt de

naam van de radiozender weergegeven op het display.

4. Draai indien nodig aan de Afstemknop om de frequentie

nauwkeurig af te stellen met stappen van 0.05MHz.

5. Herhaal de stappen 3 en 4 om af te stemmen op

andere radiozenders.

6. Stel het volume naar wens in.

Opmerking:

Als u merkt dat de FM-ontvangst slecht is, probeer de

antenne dan te verplaatsen.

Het FM-menu

U kunt het FM-menu openen door de Info / Menu-knop

ingedrukt te houden wanneer de radio zich in de FM-

radiomodus bevindt.

Draai aan de Afstemknop om een van de beschikbare

opties te selecteren en druk vervolgens op de Afstemknop

om uw keuze te bevestigen.

De standaardinstellingen en aanbevolen instellingen van

de radio aangegeven met een asterisk.

Het FM-menu biedt de volgende opties:

●[FM Scan Zone]: Selecteer deze optie om te

configureren of de radio alleen naar sterke signalen

('Local') of naar alle signalen ('Distant') moet zoeken

wanneer u de automatische afstemfunctie gebruikt.

●[FM RDS]: Selecteer deze optie om RDS-ontvangst

in of uit te schakelen. Wanneer u naar een FM-zender

luistert die ook RDS-gegevens uitzendt, selecteer

dan [On] om de ontvangst van RDS-gegevens in te

schakelen of [Off] om de ontvangst van RDS-gegevens

uit te schakelen.

●[System Settings]: Selecteer deze optie om naar

het systeeminstellingenmenu te gaan en de radio

te configureren (raadpleeg het hoofdstuk 'Het

systeeminstellingenmenu gebruiken' voor meer

informatie).

Informatie over FM-radio weergeven op het

display

Als u naar een FM-radiozender luistert die ook

RDS-gegevens uitzendt (het RDS-pictogram wordt

weergegeven in de onderste balk op het display van de

radio), drukt u herhaaldelijk op de Info / Menu-knop om op

het display van de radio door de volgende informatie te

bladeren:

Radiotekst, Programmatype, Signaalsterkte, Datum.

Als het stereoluidsprekerpictogram onderaan het display

van de radio wordt weergegeven, geeft dit aan dat de

radio een stereo-uitzending ontvangt.

FM stereo / mono

Als de FM-zender die u beluisterd een zwak signaal

heeft, kan er wat ruis hoorbaar zijn. U kunt deze ruis

verminderen door de radio te forceren de zender af te

spelen in mono in plaats van stereo. Druk herhaaldelijk

op de Stereo / Mono-knop, het display toont de melding

'Forced Mono' (geforceerd mono) of 'Stereo Allowed'

(stereo toegestaan).

Voorkeurzenders instellen in de DAB- en

FM-radiomodus

De radio beschikt over 6 voorkeurzenders voor zowel

de DAB- als de FM-radiomodus. In beide modi kan er

op dezelfde manier gebruik worden gemaakt van de

voorkeurzenders.

1. Schakel de radio in, selecteer vervolgens de DAB- of

FM-radiomodus en stem zoals eerder beschreven af

op de gewenste radiozender.

2. Houd de knop van de gewenste voorkeurzender

ingedrukt tot het display bijvoorbeeld 'Preset 01

stored' (voorkeurzender 1 opgeslagen) weergeeft.

De zender wordt opgeslagen onder de gekozen

voorkeurzenderknop. Herhaal deze procedure

indien gewenst voor de resterende voorkeurzenders.

Voorkeurzender kunnen worden overschreven door de

bovenstaande procedure te volgen.

Een voorkeurzender oproepen in de DAB-

en FM-radiomodus

1. Schakel de radio in en selecteer vervolgens de DAB- of

FM-radiomodus door herhaaldelijk op de Bronknop te

drukken.

2. Druk op de knop van de gewenste voorkeurzender om

uw radio af te laten stemmen op de zender die onder

die knop is opgeslagen.

Het systeeminstellingenmenu gebruiken

U kunt het systeeminstellingenmenu gebruiken om

uw radio te configureren. Volg deze stappen om het

systeeminstellingenmenu te openen:

1. Schakel de radio in met de Stand-byknop.

2. Houd de Info / Menu-knop ingedrukt om het menu voor

de huidige modus te openen.

3. Draai aan de Afstemknop om [System Settings] te

selecteren en druk vervolgens op de Afstemknop om

het menu te openen.

Het systeeminstellingenmenu biedt de volgende opties:

Draai aan de Afstemknop om een van de beschikbare

opties te selecteren en druk vervolgens op de

Afstemknop om uw keuze te bevestigen.

Druk op de Info / Menu-knop om één stap terug te

gaan in het menu van de radio.

De standaardinstellingen en aanbevolen instellingen

van de radio aangegeven met een asterisk.

●[MIC Volume]: Selecteer deze optie om het

microfoonvolume in te stellen. Draai aan de

Afstemknop om het gewenste microfoonvolume in te

stellen.

●[Time setup]: Selecteer deze optie om de tijd en

datum handmatig in te stellen, om de bron voor het

automatisch bijwerken van de tijd en datum in te

stellen of om de tijdnotatie in te stellen.

[Sleep]: U kunt de slaaptimer gebruiken om de radio

automatisch uit te laten schakelen nadat er een

vooraf ingestelde tijd is verstreken. Selecteer deze

optie en druk op de Afstemknop. Draai vervolgens

aan de Afstemknop om de gewenste slaaptijd te

selecteren. De slaaptimer kan worden ingesteld op

een periode van 15 tot 120 minuten of kan worden

uitgeschakeld door 'Sleep off' te selecteren. Druk op

de Afstemknop om uw keuze te bevestigen.

Een actieve slaaptimer wordt aangegeven met een

slaaptimerpictogram onderaan de afspeelweergave.

Dit pictogram toont ook de resterende slaaptijd

voordat de radio automatisch overschakelt naar de

stand-bymodus.

Als u de slaaptimer wilt annuleren en de radio wilt

uitschakelen voordat de vooraf ingestelde tijd is

verstreken, druk dan op de Stand-byknop om de

radio handmatig uit te schakelen.

●[Backlight]: Selecteer deze optie en selecteer

vervolgens [Timeout] om de tijdsduur aan te

passen waarna de achtergrondverlichting wordt

uitgeschakeld of selecteer [On Level] om het

helderheidsniveau van het scherm aan te passen

wanneer de radio is ingeschakeld of selecteer

[Standby Level] om de helderheid van de

achtergrondverlichting aan te passen wanneer de

radio zich in de stand-bymodus bevindt.

●[Language]: Selecteer deze optie om de taal te

configureren waarin de menu's van de radio worden

weergegeven.

●[Factory Reset]: Selecteer deze optie om

de instellingen van de radio te herstellen

naar de standaard fabrieksinstellingen. Na

bevestiging worden alle gebruikersinstellingen en

voorkeurzenders gewist.

●[SW Version]: Selecteer deze optie om de

softwareversie van de radio te bekijken.

Luisteren naar muziek via Bluetooth-

streaming

U moet uw Bluetooth-apparaat koppelen met uw radio

voordat u automatisch verbinding kunt maken en

Bluetooth-muziek kunt afspelen / streamen via uw radio.

Koppelen creëert een 'band' zodat de twee apparaten

elkaar kunnen herkennen.

Uw Bluetooth-apparaat voor het eerst

koppelen en muziek afspelen

1. Zorg ervoor dat uw radio is ingeschakeld en druk

vervolgens op de Bronknop om de Bluetooth-

modus te selecteren. De melding 'BT Pairing' wordt

weergegeven op het display. De Bluetooth-indicator op

de radio knippert blauw om aan te geven dat de radio

gedetecteerd kan worden.

2. Volg de handleiding van uw bronapparaat om Bluetooth

te activeren op het apparaat en ervoor te zorgen dat

het apparaat kan koppelen met de radio. Ga naar de

lijst met Bluetooth-apparaten en selecteer het apparaat

met de naam 'RH4' (bij sommige smartphones met een

Bluetooth-versie ouder dan BT2.1 moet u mogelijk het

wachtwoord '0000' invoeren).

3. Zodra de apparaten zijn verbonden, klinkt er een

bevestigingstoon en de naam van uw verbonden

Bluetooth-apparaat verschijnt op het display. De

Bluetooth-indicator blijft blauw branden. U kunt nu

gewoon muziek selecteren en afspelen vanaf uw

bronapparaat.

4. Het volume kan worden ingesteld op uw

bronapparaat of rechtstreeks op de radio. Gebruik de

bedieningselementen op uw Bluetooth-apparaat of op

de radio om het afspelen te starten / pauzeren en de

gewenste track te selecteren.

Opmerking:

●Als 2 Bluetooth-apparaten voor het eerst koppelen,

zoeken beide apparaten naar de radio en wordt de

radio als beschikbaar getoond op beide apparaten.

Als een van beide apparaten echter eerst

verbinding maakt met de radio, dan verschijnt de

radio op het andere Bluetooth-apparaat niet in de

lijst.

●Als u uw bronapparaat verplaatst tot buiten het

Bluetooth-bereik, wordt de verbinding tussen uw

bronapparaat en de radio tijdelijk verbroken. De

radio maakt automatisch opnieuw verbinding als

het bronapparaat weer binnen bereik komt. U dient

er wel rekening mee te houden dat er tijdens de

periode waarin de verbinding is verbroken geen

ander Bluetooth-apparaat mag worden gekoppeld

of verbonden met de radio.

●Als 'RH4' wordt weergegeven in de lijst met

Bluetooth-apparaten, maar uw apparaat er geen

verbinding mee kan maken, verwijder het item

dan uit de lijst en koppel het apparaat vervolgens

opnieuw met de radio volgens de eerder beschreven

stappen.

●Het effectieve bereik tussen het systeem en het

gekoppelde apparaat is ongeveer 10 meter (30

voet). Eventuele obstakels tussen de radio en het

apparaat kunnen het bereik verminderen.

●De prestaties van de Bluetooth / NFC-connectiviteit

kunnen variëren, afhankelijk van het Bluetooth-

apparaten waarmee verbinding wordt gemaakt.

Bekijk de Bluetooth-mogelijkheden die uw apparaat

biedt voordat u verbinding maakt met de radio.

Het is mogelijk dat niet alle functies worden

ondersteund op sommige Bluetooth-apparaten

waarmee wordt gekoppeld.

●Het is bij gebruik van bepaalde mobiele telefoons

mogelijk dat het geluid van de Bluetooth-

audiostream tijdelijk wordt gedempt of dat de

verbinding met het apparaat zelfs tijdelijk wordt

verbroken tijdens het verzenden / ontvangen

van oproepen, sms-berichten, e-mails of andere

activiteiten die niet in verband staan met het

streamen van audio. Dergelijk gedrag is een functie

van het verbonden apparaat en duidt niet op een

defect van uw radio.

Audiobestanden afspelen in de Bluetooth-

modus

Als u uw radio succesvol met het gekozen Bluetooth-

apparaat hebt verbonden, kunt u het afspelen van muziek

starten met de bedieningselementen van het verbonden

Bluetooth-apparaat.

1. Zodra het afspelen is gestart, kan het volume worden

ingesteld met behulp van de Volumeknop op de radio

en de volumeregeling op het Bluetooth-apparaat.

2. Gebruik de bedieningselementen op uw Bluetooth-

apparaat om het afspelen te starten / pauzeren en

de gewenste track te selecteren. Als alternatief kunt

u het afspelen bedienen met behulp van de knoppen

Afspelen / Pauzeren, Volgende track en Vorige track op

uw radio.

3. Houd de Vooruitspoelen- of Terugspoelen-knop

ingedrukt om vooruit of terug te spoelen in de huidige

track. Laat de knop los wanneer het gewenste punt is

bereikt.

Opmerking:

Het is mogelijk dat niet alle apps voor het afspelen

van audio of apparaten op alle bedieningselementen

reageren.

Informatie over Bluetooth-audio weergeven

op het display

Als uw verbonden apparaat gegevens kan verstrekken

over de track die wordt afgespeeld tijdens het luisteren

naar Bluetooth-audio, druk dan herhaaldelijk op de Info

/ Menu-knop om op het display van de radio door de

volgende informatie te bladeren:

Titel, Artiest, Album, Datum.

Houd er rekening mee dat de beschikbaarheid van deze

gegevens afhankelijk is van het gebruikte mediaformaat.

Opnieuw verbinden met een eerder

gekoppeld Bluetooth-bronapparaat

De radio kan tot 6 Bluetooth-apparaten onthouden

waarmee eerder is gekoppeld. Als er met meer dan 8

Bluetooth-apparaten is gekoppeld, dan wordt het eerste

apparaat waarmee is gekoppeld overschreven in het

geheugen.

Als uw Bluetooth-apparaat al eerder is gekoppeld met

de radio, zal deze uw Bluetooth-apparaat opslaan in het

geheugen en probeert de radio opnieuw verbinding te

maken het Bluetooth-apparaat in het geheugen waarmee

het laatst verbinding is gemaakt.

De verbinding met uw Bluetooth-apparaat

verbreken

Als u de verbinding met uw Bluetooth-apparaat wilt

verbreken, schakel Bluetooth dan uit op een van beide

apparaten, houd de Bluetooth koppelen-knop op de radio

ingedrukt om over te schakelen naar de koppelingsmodus

(de Bluetooth-indicator knippert blauw) of schakel over

naar de andere modus op de radio door op de Bronknop

te drukken. Als u de verbinding met het Bluetooth-

apparaat verbreekt terwijl de radio zich in de Bluetooth-

modus bevindt, toont het display van de radio de melding

'BT Pairing' en is de radio weer beschikbaar om te

koppelen.

Koppelen met uw apparaat via NFC en

muziek afspelen

De radio beschikt over een draadloze NFC-functie

(Near Field Communication) waarmee u eenvoudig kunt

koppelen met NFC-apparaten en vervolgens muziek kunt

afspelen. Als uw apparaat niet over NFC-functionaliteit

beschikt, raadpleeg dan de bovenstaande paragrafen om

op normale wijze via Bluetooth te koppelen.

1. Schakel de NFC-functie op uw apparaat in. (Belangrijk:

Zorg ervoor dat het scherm van uw afspeelapparaat is

ingeschakeld en ontgrendeld om gebruik te maken van

NFC.)

2. Tik het NFC-gebied van uw afspeelapparaat

tegen het NFC-gebied dat is gemarkeerd op het

rechterbovenpaneel van uw radio. De radio schakelt

over naar de Bluetooth-modus en begint automatisch

met koppelen. Als u uw radio voor het eerst koppelt,

vraagt uw NFC-apparaat toestemming om verbinding te

maken met de radio. Zodra het apparaat is gekoppeld,

blijft het Bluetooth-pictogram verlicht.

3. Gebruik de bedieningselementen op uw apparaat of op

uw radio om het afspelen te starten / pauzeren en de

gewenste track te selecteren.

Opmerking:

●Als u een ander Bluetooth-apparaat voor het eerst

wilt koppelen via NFC, verbreek de verbinding met

het huidige verbonden Bluetooth-apparaat dan eerst.

●Het NFC-detectiegebied zit niet op alle apparaten

op dezelfde plaats. Als u via NFC met een ander

Bluetooth-apparaat verbinding maakt, raadpleeg

dan de handleiding van het andere apparaat voor

meer informatie.

●Sommige metalen hoesjes voor mobiele telefoons

kunnen de gevoeligheid van NFC verminderen.

Zorg ervoor dat u het hoesje van de telefoon haalt

voordat u NFC activeert.

De verbinding met uw NFC-apparaat

verbreken

Als u de verbinding met uw apparaat wilt verbreken,

tik dan simpelweg nogmaals op de bovenkant van de

radio. Het lampje voor het Bluetooth-pictogram begint

dan weer te knipperen om aan te geven dat de radio

gedetecteerd kan worden en beschikbaar is om te

koppelen. (Belangrijk: Zorg ervoor dat het scherm van

uw afspeelapparaat is ingeschakeld en ontgrendeld om

gebruik te maken van NFC.)

De PerfectPro-stereokoppelingsfunctie

Stereokoppeling (ook wel True Wireless Stereo of TWS)

is een functie waarmee twee luidsprekers draadloos

met elkaar en met een audioapparaat kunnen worden

verbonden om muziek in Koppelen te spelen zonder

dat er kabels nodig zijn. Uw ROCKHART kan draadloos

worden verbonden met een tweede ROCKHART en

een audioapparaat om muziek af te spelen via beide

luidsprekers tegelijk.

De eerste luidspreker instellen

1. Zorg ervoor dat de eerste luidspreker zich in de

Bluetooth-modus bevindt en maak verbinding met een

Bluetooth-apparaat.

2. Druk op de knop Stereokoppeling om over te schakelen

naar de stereokoppelingsmodus.

De tweede luidspreker instellen

1. Zorg ervoor dat de tweede luidspreker zich in de

Bluetooth-modus bevindt en dat deze niet is verbonden

met een Bluetooth-apparaat.

2. Druk op de knop Stereokoppeling om over te schakelen

naar de stereokoppelingsmodus.

Nadat de verbinding tussen de luidsprekers succesvol

tot stand is gebracht, toont het display op de eerste

luidspreker de melding 'Lead Stereo'. Het display op de

tweede luidspreker toont de melding 'Follow Stereo'.

Opmerking:

●Stel de tweede luidspreker binnen 1 minuut na de

eerste in, anders wordt de instelling van de eerste

luidspreker geannuleerd.

●Als beide luidsprekers zijn verbonden met

hetzelfde Bluetooth-apparaat, dan kan de

stereokoppelingsfunctie niet worden ingesteld.

In dit geval moet u de Bluetooth-verbinding

van een van de luidsprekers verbreken om de

stereokoppelingsfunctie in te stellen.

Het afspelen starten

1. Start het afspelen op het verbonden Bluetooth-apparaat

en stel het volume naar wens in op het Bluetooth-

apparaat of een de luidsprekers.

Opmerking: Wanneer de volume-, EQ- en Loudness-

instelling worden aangepast op één luidspreker,

dan worden deze veranderingen ook doorgevoerd

op de andere luidspreker.

2. Gebruik de bedieningselementen op uw Bluetooth-

apparaat om het afspelen te starten / pauzeren en

de gewenste track te selecteren. Als alternatief kunt

u het afspelen bedienen met behulp van de knoppen

Afspelen / Pauzeren, Volgende en Vorige op een van

beide luidsprekers.

3. Houd Volgende of Vorige op een van beide luidsprekers

ingedrukt om in de huidige track vooruit of terug te

spoelen. Laat de knop los wanneer het gewenste punt

is bereikt.

Opmerking:

Het is mogelijk dat niet alle apps voor het afspelen

van audio of apparaten op alle bedieningselementen

reageren.

De audiomodus selecteren

Als u twee luidsprekers gebruikt, kunt u schakelen tussen

de modi 'Stereo', 'Links' en 'Rechts'. Druk op de L / R-knop

op een van beide luidsprekers om de audiomodus te

wijzigen.

De modus 'Stereo': Beide luidsprekers spelen hetzelfde

geluid af. Dit is de standaardinstelling.

De modi 'Links' / 'Rechts': Eén luidspreker speelt

het geluid van het linkerkanaal af, terwijl de andere

luidspreker het geluid van het rechterkanaal afspeelt voor

een stereoweergave met beide luidsprekers.

De PerfectPro-stereokoppelingsverbinding

verbreken

Houd de Stereokoppelingsknop 2-3 seconden ingedrukt

om de verbinding van de stereokoppelingsfunctie te

verbreken.

Luisteren naar audio vanaf een USB-

apparaat of SD-kaart

De ROCKHART kan MP3 / WMA (versie 9 standaard)

/ WAV / AAC / OGG-bestanden afspelen vanaf USB-

apparaten of SD-kaarten.

Er zijn echter vele verschillende soorten kaarten beschikbaar

op de markt en er kan niet worden gegarandeerd dat al deze

kaarten werken met de ROCKHART.

Bestanden afspelen vanaf een USB-

apparaat of SD-kaart

Volg deze stappen om audiobestanden af te spelen vanaf

een USB-apparaat of SD-kaart:

1. Schakel de radio in met de Stand-byknop.

2. Plaats het USB-apparaat in de USB-poort of de SD-

kaart in de SD-kaartsleuf.

3. Selecteer de USB- of CD-modus door herhaaldelijk op

de Bronknop te drukken. Nadat u een van beide modi

hebt geselecteerd, toont het display van de radio de

melding 'Reading' (lezen) om aan te geven dat de radio

bezig is met het lezen van de inhoud van het USB-

apparaat of de SD-kaart.

4. Nadat de inhoud van het USB-apparaat of de SD-kaart

is gelezen, start de radio het afspelen automatisch.

De melding 'F001 T001 00:00' (bijvoorbeeld) wordt

weergegeven op het display. Het eerste cijfer staat

voor het mapnummer, het tweede cijfer staat voor het

tracknummer in de huidige map en het derde cijfer

staat voor de afspeeltijd.

5. Nadat het afspelen is gestart:

●Druk op Afspelen / Pauzeren om het afspelen te

pauzeren / hervatten.

●Druk op Volgende of Vorige om naar de volgende of

vorige track te gaan.

●Houd Volgende of Vorige ingedrukt om vooruit of

terug te spoelen binnen een track en laat de knop

los wanneer het gewenste punt is bereikt.

●Druk op de knop Volgende map of Vorige map om

naar de volgende of vorige map te gaan.

6. Druk herhaaldelijk op de Afspeelmodusknop om de

gewenste afspeelmodus te selecteren. De beschikbare

afspeelmodi zijn:

●Een track herhalen

●Een map herhalen

●Alle tracks herhalen

●Afspelen in willekeurige volgorde

De indicator van de geselecteerde afspeelmodus wordt

onderaan het display van de radio weergegeven. Tik na

het afspelen in willekeurige volgorde nogmaals op de

Afspeelmodusknop om terug te schakelen naar normaal

afspelen.

Informatie over tracks weergeven op het

display

Druk tijdens het luisteren naar audio vanaf een USB-

apparaat of SD-kaart herhaaldelijk op de Info / Menu-

knop om op het display van de radio door de volgende

informatie te bladeren:

Bestandsnaam, Titel, Artiest, Album, Datum.

Een USB-apparaat opladen

De USB-poort van de ROCKHART kan ook worden

gebruikt om USB-apparaten op te laden. De USB-poort

heeft een uitgangsvermogen van 5V / 1A.

Als u een USB-apparaat wilt opladen (bijv. een iPhone,

smartphone of soortgelijk apparaat), open dan de

afdekking van het multimediavak aan de rechterkant

van de radio en sluit het apparaat aan op de USB-poort.

Vergeet na het opladen niet om het apparaat weer los te

koppelen en de afdekking van het multimediavak weer

te sluiten om te voorkomen dat er vocht of stof kunnen

binnendringen in de radio.

De oplaadtijd kan variëren en in sommige gevallen kan

het opladen langer duren dan met de door de fabrikant bij

het apparaat meegeleverde oplader.

BELANGRIJK:

●De USB-poort levert maximaal 5V / 1A en is daarom

alleen geschikt om bepaalde USB-apparaten en de

meeste iPhones op te laden. De poort is echter niet

geschikt voor alle apparaten en het is mogelijk dat

externe harde schijven, mobiele telefoons en andere

elektronische apparaat niet kunnen worden opgeladen.

●Het maximale volume en vermogen van de

luidspreker nemen af wanneer u een apparaat oplaadt

via de USB-poort.

●Het is mogelijk dat de oplader sommige USB-

apparaten niet kan opladen.

●Sluit geen USB-voedingsbron aan op de USB-poort.

Als u dit toch doet, kan dit leiden tot brandgevaar.

De USB-poort is alleen bedoeld voor het opladen

van laagspanningsapparaten. Sluit de afdekking

van het multimediavak altijd wanneer u geen

laagspanningsapparaten oplaadt.

●Steek geen spijkers, draden, etc. in de USB-

oplaadpoort. Als u dit toch doet, kan er kortsluiten

ontstaan, wat kan leiden tot rookontwikkeling en

brand.

●Sluit deze USB-poort niet aan op de USB-poort van

uw pc, omdat het zeer waarschijnlijk is dat dit tot

schade aan een van beide of beide apparaten leidt.

Luisteren naar audio via de Aux-ingang

U kunt het geluid van een extern apparaat (zoals een iPod

of MP3-speler) via de luidspreker van de ROCKHART

afspelen. Volg hiervoor deze stappen:

1. Open de rubberen afdekking van de Aux-ingang en

sluit het externe apparaat aan met behulp van een

3,5mm-audiokabel (niet meegeleverd).

2. Zorg ervoor dat zowel de radio als het externe apparaat

zijn ingeschakeld.

3. Selecteer de AUX IN-modus door herhaaldelijk op de

Bronknop te tikken.

4. De audio-uitvoer van het externe apparaat wordt nu

afgespeeld via de luidsprekers van de ROCKHART.

Het afspelen moet worden bediend op het externe

apparaat, terwijl het volume kan worden geregeld op

zowel de radio als op het externe apparaat.

Opmerking:

Nadat u de 3,5mm-audiokabel hebt losgekoppeld,

moet u de rubberen afdekking van de Aux-ingang

weer sluiten om te voorkomen dat er vocht of stof

kunnen binnendringen in de radio.

Microfoonaansluiting

Er zit een 6,3mm-microfoonaansluiting op de achterkant

van de radio. Hier kunt u een microfoon op aansluiten.

1. Sluit de microfoon (niet meegeleverd) aan op de

microfoonaansluiting (MIC).

2. Zorg ervoor dat zowel de radio als de microfoon zijn

ingeschakeld.

3. Stel het volume naar wens in.

Opmerking:

●De microfoon wordt niet geactiveerd als er een

USB-apparaat of SD-kaart is geplaatst en de radio

zich in de USB- of SD-modus bevindt.

●Plaats de microfoon niet tegen de luidspreker,

omdat dit feedbackecho kan veroorzaken en de

radio kan beschadigen.

Equalizerfunctie (EQ)

Het geluid van uw radio kan worden aangepast aan de

hand van uw persoonlijke smaak en de nummers die u

beluistert.

Druk op de EQ-knop om door de verschillende modi te

bladeren.

a. Flat – er wordt geen toonaanpassing toegepast.

b. Rock

c. Outdoor (buiten)

d. Pop

e. News (nieuws)

f. Indoor (binnen)

g. My EQ (mijn EQ)

Als de vooraf ingestelde equalizerfuncties u niet bevallen,

kunt als volgt aangepaste instellingen voor de hoge tonen

en de lage tonen instellen:

1. Houd de EQ-knop ingedrukt om de instellingen voor

MIJN EQ te openen.

2. Draai aan de Afstemknop om het niveau van de hoge

tonen (treble) in te stellen en druk vervolgens op de

Afstemknop om de instelling te bevestigen.

3. Draai aan de Afstemknop om het niveau van de lage

tonen (bass) in te stellen en druk vervolgens op de

Afstemknop om de instelling te bevestigen.

Loudness aan / uit

Druk wanneer de radio is ingeschakeld op de Loudness-

knop om de loudness-functie van de radio in of uit te

schakelen. Wanneer de loudness-functie is ingeschakeld,

veranderen de letters van de EQ-modus (zoals 'Flat') van

wit naar oranje.

GARANTIE

Deze radio wordt geleverd met 2 jaar beperkte garantie.

WAARSCHUWING! De garantie vervalt indien u de

behuizing van het apparaat hebt geopend of wijzigingen

hebt aangebracht aan de radio!

De garantievoorwaarden van deze radio bieden geen

18. Übermäßiger Schalldruck von Kopfhörern kann

Hörschäden verursachen. Höhere Einstellungen am

Equalizer verursachen höhere Signalspannungen am

Kopfhörerausgang.

19. Der Netzstecker sollte sich immer möglichst nahe am

Radio befinden und leicht zugänglich bleiben, um ihn

in Notfällen schnell und einfach aus der Steckdose

ziehen zu können.

20. Wenn der Netzstecker oder eine Steckdose zum Ein-

und Ausschalten des Geräts benutzt wird, achten Sie

bitte immer darauf, dass die Steckdose jeder Zeit für

den Benutzer erreichbar bleibt.

21. Die Batterien dürfen niemals starker Hitze, wie z. B.

Sonnenlicht, Feuer o. Ä. ausgesetzt werden.
