RC9800i is a touchscreen LCD remote control with the following key characteristics:
- Colour active matrix touchscreen TFT LCD with white LED backlight
(320x240, 16bit color)
- Backlight brightness control
- LCD refresh rate 60-80 Hz
- Back lighted hard button
- Innovative, customizable user interface
- Downloadable universal database
- Integrated IR database
- Smart power management
- IR learning distance: 10…2.5cm @ +-40 degrees
- Learning frequency Up to 56 KHz carrier frequency and 455 KHz for some formats (B&O)
- Embedded Li-Pol battery with build-in recharger, 1700mAH capacity
- 16-bit Audio DA converter for CD-like sound quality
- USB device for connection with PC
- IEEE 802.11B WIFI module embedded
- 3.5mm stereo jack for connection of headphone
- Mono loudspeaker for audio pre-listening
- 32 MB Flash memory
- 32 Mbytes SDRAM
- Tilt sensor that activates device when tilted under an angle of 50 degrees
- 200MHz MXL Dragonball processor.
TILTSENSOR
After entering sleep mode, the tiltsensor must wake up the device, when it is tilted more than 60 degrees.
WARNING
In case of replacing the LiPo battery part make certain that the battery is fixed very well on the PWB with the help of the
double coated adhesive tape.
Don’t add any external voltage supply for test purpose when LiPo battery is connected!!! (explosion danger).

1. Remove 5 x screw (Torx screw M2x5 ). see fig.1 - arrows
2. Remove speaker cable see fig.1 - arrow C
3. Fig.2 arrow B: Release flex cable lock in direction arrow C
and remove flex
4. Fig.2 arrow A: Turn cable lock 45 degree and remove flex
5. Till the printboard assy out of cabinet.
6. Remove 4 x screw (Torx screw M2x4 ).
